As long as Miguel works here I will never go anywhere else! I had to come in for a state inspection and the machine was down, it was almost the end of the month, I had to get to work, it was all a mess! In spite of the chaotic situation, Miguel took such good care of me and my car, he was so flexible with the timing because of my work schedule and he managed to get me out of there so fast with new stickers! I was so stressed and so ready for everything to go wrong, as has happened with nearly every garage I've been to, but Miguel was so helpful, calming and knowledgeable I actually left in a better mood than I came in with! He is a great mechanic and an absolute joy to talk to!

I am so glad I found Monro Auto Service after moving to Providence. Every experience I have had here has been a positive one. My most recent experience was with Sean, and I originally checked in for an oil change. I told Sean about a problem I noticed with my tire, and he graciously took a close look, figured out the problem, communicated the problem to me promptly, and did a thorough job fixing it. Unlike other auto shops I have been to in the past, these men genuinely take their jobs seriously and pay very close attention to detail. Whenever I go there, I know I am in great hands, and that means everything. Highly recommend!!

Most recently I purchased a whole set of tires, tire insurance, and maintenance at a very reasonable price. If Miguel is handling your vehicle or coordinating your service you are in good hands. After hitting a pothole, I limped my Mazda 3 to this Monro location to have new shocks installed. Unfortunately, the bolts for the shocks were unusable and replacements from the manufacturer couldn't be sourced. Thankfully, the guys a Monro tracked down suitable bolts so my car could get back on the road. They could have said, "Sorry, you need to go to the dealership." Instead, they improvised and figured out how to get the job done. I appreciate the extra effort these guys made to see this repair through to completion.

I started working in Providence in 2014 a few blocks from this Monro location. I started with oil changes and then progressed to larger services. Brakes, mufflers tires...everything. When you find a great mechanic that is efficient, honest and communicates with you it is invaluable. Miguel runs this shop and is definitely the reason I keep returning. Miguel, Evan and Jesse were amazing. They took my car issue seriously and treated me with genuine kindness and respect even though they were super busy. Evan took a look at my exhaust system the first chance he got, fixed it in no time, and quoted me a fair price to get me back on the road the same day. My boyfriend and I came in for an oil change last week. The manager is super accommodating and friendly. Didn't take long to complete the service, which was great since I dropped it off during a peek time (5pm). Great service and affordable. Cheaper than all the other places I had previously gone to (Pep Boys, Jiffy Lube ect). Definitely going to have my car serviced here going forward. Highly recommend!

I had a wonderful and seamless experience getting my oil changed at Monro. Miguel helped me deftly choose the right oil for my vehicle and made me aware of a special, which made everything much more affordable. He was very professional and knowledgable regarding my particular vehicle. He was able to reset some dashboard lights at no additional cost that had been intermittently malfunctioning for the last several years--the dealer for my brand said it would cost hundreds of dollars for a similar service. Furthermore, he performed an out-of-state emissions test that was hassle free...And most importantly, all of these services were provided in about half an hour!! I'll definitely be coming here for future service!

The shop was packed to the point that he had to turn down business because he was the ONLY one in the shop. He was answering the phones, taking appointment AND most IMPORTANTLY fixed the cars. I've had mixed experiences at different Monro locations (and of course repair shops in general), but I can attest that this is one of the few good ones. The store manager Miguel is so pleasant, genuine, honest, and kind an incredibly rare combination to find in this field, especially as a female customer. I noticed two other customer interactions during my visit and was impressed at his patience and humility in explaining basic mechanics without any hint of judgement. I can't speak to anyone else on the staff, but my guess is if he's on duty, you'll be taken care of.

The whole process was efficient and price is much lower than other dealer quotes. Evans has great experience with MB and walked me through the problem with good patience. I had an issue with the battery in my car, so I set an appointment up at Monro. My family is a true Monro family, we’ve always trusted the brand and have used their services in both New York as well as Rhode Island. Naturally, I had a hell of a time getting my car going to even get to my appointment which made me 10 minutes late. I called ahead and Miguel, the store manager, answered my call and completely made me feel at ease for as anxious as I was that I may miss my appointment. He took me in when I got there, and never once made me feel bad about what would have been an inconvenience to himself and his team. Miguel truly embodies why myself and my family love Monro. The expertise is there which of course you want, but he is also just plain lovely. He explained the process of fixing my car and what was wrong to me in terms I could understand as well as made me laugh multiple times while I was there. He fixed my battery issue in less than an hour! He’s a gem for the franchise Monro and Carpenter St. store and I will continue to be a repeat customer for life!

Went to this place because of vibrations during breaking. I called and Evan gave me a first appointment to inspect my car within a few days. He told me my lower control arms were worn out and it would get worse over time. Depending on how long I am planning to keep the car I should think about just living with it, or getting it repaired. A statement which you don't hear often (in a positive way). He gave me a first estimate which was way over what I was able to pay. Evan gave me also the option to check if I could get the parts cheaper - I did! That being said, he repaired it with the parts I got and charged me a very fair amount for labor. Overall I had a great experience here, costumer service was great. I just deducted one star because his suppliers are overpriced, at least for Volvo parts. Would come again!

I started going here because of an on line coupon for a 15 dollar oil change...and that I live close also!! Anyways I was early for my appointment but they took me right in and inspected the whole car! Didnt try to sell me anything at all!! Desk personel and mechanic were very friendly. I have recieved more coupons from them in the mail. 2 for 10 buck oil changes and a 15 dollar one. You cant do it yourself for cheaper and mess and labor. Highly recommend

I had a flat tire and didn't have the key to unlock the spare on the back. They told me to come back in a few hours and when I returned they had the tired replaced with the spare- they were able to get it off! Best part was no charge! (I left a nice tip).
