A&M tire company was recommended to me by a family friend who owns an auto body shop (Coachman Autobody) and knows All the best places to go in town. I purchased my wife a set of tires here and got a really great deal, we saved a ton of money compared to other shops in the area and didn’t feel like we were being “Upsold” like most places you go to which was great. we are now purchasing our second set of tires from the shop from Michael who has been extremely helpful helping us decide what the best tire would be for us! Thank you so much for all of your help!

I own several highly modified Audis, which are lowered and have custom suspension systems on them...and the folks at A&M have taken care of me on a number of occasions now...and I come all the way down from Vancouver. Their owner is a standup guy, runs a tight ship, and their alignment rack is like something out of Star Wars... amazing. Great shop, very fair prices, fast and honest, good customer service. Highly recommended.

Mike and his team were awesome! I had ordered tires from another outfit up the road, over a week ago. I was told those tires would be ready to be installed on my car 3x since the original order & no luck! I used Google to find the "nearest tire shop" and A&M popped up *with good reviews. I called, gave Mike the needed tire measurements, and he was able to get them to his shop within an hour of my call. He updated me when they arrived and had me in and out of the shop within an hour! Super grateful for him and his team!

I don’t normally write reviews, but this place deserves a great one! After a friend recommendation, I brought my wrx in for just a simple 4 wheel alignment by appointment and i’m just amazed on how quick and fast they were. They immediately got my car on the rack within minutes after arriving and i maybe sat for like 15 minutes. As far as the alignment goes, the car drives absolutely amazing! Highly recommend this place and from someone who lives in washington, i will definitely make the drive out here again for any tire needs!

I am from out of town and bought tires at a different tire store before leaving town and they didn't balance them. I've been coming to Michael since 2008 at his first location and never had a problem up until yesterday. I went there to swap tires on a different set of wheels. He didnt like the spacers I had, denied doing the service and that's totally fine! However he was rude and unprofessional and didn't listen to a word I said considering I was holding a box with 4 other sets of spacers. Either way I was loading up said screw it obviously he's not happy today, as I start to load everything up my wheels magically land on the other side of the shop after Michael walked away and his employees seemed to look at me crazy when I asked where my wheels were and proceeded to say they didn't know. Yet there they were on the other side of the shop in the alignment side....luckily my dash cam was on and it was all on video. And the way Michael talked to me was unacceptable. I don't want to take further action however I will if I don't get an apology

I had my passenger rear tire de bead on me the other day on a trip. Back from California after I had bought a 98 GS400. Michael got right to work when I got the shop. He didn’t try to sell me his most expensive tire. He found a good reliable tire, test fitted it and showed me, then had his guys take off my drivers side rear and replace it also as well. It maybe took them literally under 15 minutes it felt like. When the tow truck guy had came to help change the tire since you know, you can’t fit the stock jack the car comes with if you have a significantly lowered car, it took him 45 minutes just to figure out we needed blocks to lift up the car, even though that’s the first thing I suggested but he didn’t even try. These guys at A&M knew exactly what they needed to do, first thing Michael had me do was put the car on blocks so they could jack it up. The crew there is careful but precise when taking off and putting on tires on wheels. No scratches at all, they also do stretched tires. They’re professionals when it comes to lowered cars. It’s not your 16 year old kid with a stock Subaru that swears he’s a car guy. They know what they’re doing and will do the job faster without risking your wheels or safety or complaining about having to do work. They love their job and cars. Would highly recommend them if you live in the Portland area, even if you don’t, make the trip there, I’m going to whenever I need new tires from Bothell WA, so you might as well. It was only $225 to mount and balance the new tires, something that would probably been $400 at your local tire shop because they would’ve tried to upsell you. It’s worth every penny to make the drive! Thank you A&M Tire Company!

I just wanted to update a previous review which also earned 5 stars. I had a valve stem break on one of my tires. I brought my car in and they were quick to check out my tire and diagnose the issue. I needed two front tires pretty badly and I was about $10 short and they told me not to worry about it. I was stressed about it as I drive Uber and need to keep my vehicle safe and said I would bring in the other $10 and they said again not to worry. A&M takes excellent care of their customers. I'll definitely continue coming here even though there are numerous tire shops closer to me. I fell upon coming here about a year ago due to an unexpected circumstance and I am glad I did! This place is by far the best tire shop in the Portland metro area. I drive a lot of miles and have had to purchase several sets of new and used tires around town. This shop has the best customer service and prices by far. I purchased new tires here and their price was as good or better than the other shops I tried. They took the time to explain differences between tires. They have quick service and great communication. They have changed two flats for free as well as rotate the tires as part of their free maintenance service. Third time I have been here and more than past time I gave a review.

I wanted studded tires for our prius, I was skeptical but Mike convinced us to get studless snow tires. It was the best decision we ever made. We have driven over 1000 miles in the snow and ice in our prius and didn't get stuck or slide once! We live almost 3 hours away now, but I will keep going to them for tires when I need them!

Years of quality service and the best prices. I started going their with my ratty drift cars over 6 years ago and now I won't let a single person i know go anywhere else. Theres plenty of shops that can sell you a product and get you on your way. But there are very few that will make sure they're selling you the RIGHT product, care about your vehicle, respect your needs, and treat you like family while doing so. Michael initially helped me on the phone, providing superior customer service, and finding 2 pr. of my fairly rare tire size for the 4 I'd been told I needed earlier by 'X tire store'....when we arrived, Michael inspected and told me 2 of my tires were still in good condition, and I only needed two after all. WHO does that? He gave up $100 because he CARED and is HONEST. They had us good to go in under 20 minutes. Please go here, and tell all your friends! I was in a pickle. My tire had just had a nail go right through it and it was leaking air big time. I managed to pull off the freeway and get to a major tire shop. They quoted me a 2-3 hour wait for them to just look at it.. called another competitor and they said closer to 2hrs. "Can you guys just patch it up? I am in a big hurry!" No, we have to get through everyone first before we even look at it. Called A&M and they told me to come right over. Although they had jobs lined up, they jumped out of their way and took care of me. Literally within 15 minutes they had patched up the nail, filled up the tire and gave me paperwork. They understood my situation and although they were busy, they did everything possible to make it as quick and easy as possible. I would highly recommend.

Good service and Mike is an honest no BS kinda guy. He takes care of basic equipment and performance enthusiast stuff too. His guys have taken much better care of my AMGs wheels than the dealership. Also Mike will not try to upsell you stuff you don't need but he'll give you good advice if you're after performance kit for your ride.
