This was my second time here, the first was to get the tires replaced and the second was to fix up the brake pads and rotors on all four. Elvis and the guys did an amazing job and were extremely helpful and patient. They've also been beyond accommodating of schedules (they were able to fit me in at the end of the day right before a snowstorm). The people here are hard workers, good humored, and all around a pleasure to work with. I couldn't recommend them more.

Had all four rotors and brakes replaced by Monro. Elvis and the entire staff was extremely helpful and very good job with the work done on my car. Not once did I feel like they were trying to pull a quick one on me. Elvis was very helpful in explaining what was wrong and what needed to be done. This was my first time at this Monro service center and I was very impressed. The manager was pleasant, knowledgeable and quick to provide my service. I had an oil change and tire rotation done and it was completed in 15 min! I highly recommend this Center and will definitely return!

Monro really does a great job with our cars. They always give you straight answers. If there was a small problem after a job, they would always look at it and adjust whatever needed tweaking immediately at no extra charge. They stand by their work and we appreciate that.

Fantastic place to go. My mother in law told us about them a few years ago and we alway go here for inspections, went again today with my wife daughter and dog along with me and Joey and everyone was extremely friendly and straight forward. Our car needed tires to pass inspection and we ending leaving to talk the price together and he said he would get us in asap when we’re ready. Sure enough we agreed and I thought it would be about a week to get back in but he got in within a few hours. Over all just a great experience and happy to bring my business here.

Joe and his team have been wonderful. I have been going to have service done on my 2011 Subaru Legacy for the last few years. I always feel safe and secure in my vehicle. I do a lot of driving for work. Joe and his team have fixed and cleaned my headlights, changed out my tires, oil changes, exhaust and alignment. I had the most amazing experience with this shop and need to speak to such excellence. I needed new tires and an alignment, and was riding with a spare on one tire from avoiding an accident a few days prior. I first met with Elvis, who helped me find medium priced tires, he also made sure the tires were all-season in order to prevent me from needing to replace once the winter hits. Although the computer was a bit slow, Elvis was able to help me and would have the tires by the next morning. As promised, I went in the next morning. I worked with Joe this time, and he was able to take my car immediately and begin working. After a few minutes, a mechanic came out and informed and showed me that there was a screwdriver through my tire and my rim. He though I may need to replace the entire rim, which can be very expensive for the size rims I have. Joe took the time to look at what was wrong and began offering additional solutions that wouldn't require me to replace the entire rim. He even offered to bring it home and weld it for me once they got the screwdriver out. Joe and the mechanics were able to put a valve Stent in the rim, which worked perfectly! While I was waiting, Joe took the time to converse with me. After getting to know him, I can only say great things. Joe used to run the store over near Hampton, however now he's running the Hanover Street location in Manchester. This is a man who cares about his customers, not the sales. Joe's superb customer service is hard to find in a mechanic, coupled with his ability to repair at an affordable cost to his customers, and you have a successful shop. I will most definitely be returning here and suggesting to all my friends and family.

As a poor grad student, the guys at Monroe did everything possible to keep costs down while keeping me safe on the road. Not only is everyone there very nice and willing to answer even the dumbest of car-related questions, they are honest. Monro took great care of my husband and me! These people are very down to earth and personable. We needed to have a state inspection, replace a suspension in the back of my car, and get an alignment done. Another dealership had just tried to rip us off by charging us a ton of money for work that didn’t need to get done. We decided to get a second opinion, and we were happy to find Monro. They got us scheduled right away, and then got the job done at a reasonable price. We felt very well taken care of. Great place to have repairs done. I have never had better customer service from a repair shop than I did at this place. Joe and his team really worked hard to fix my Kia. I was going to scrap the car but the price I was charged was half of what the dealer quoted. Joe repaired the car way faster than expected and now it drives like new again. I HIGHLY recommend Joe and the guys at Monro on Hanover St in Manchester. As someone that's been through hell and back after being burnt by not only a lemon sold to me by a veteran that blew up on Mother's Day 2 years ago (got my daughter and her bike out just in time) but also exes, and greedy landlords and mechanics, I've finally found an amazing place to take my car with an amazing store manager in Joe that can not only relate to the struggle but has the understanding of it and is very caring for his customers. Joe takes the time to be human and explain things and not see dollar signs only... Between my new job becoming the best I've had in thirty years in the workforce and now finding the best mechanic I've had in almost thirty years driving, I'm truly blessed. There is still people that work hard, are honest and care for humanity out there... There is also numerous options as far as financing for those like myself that may be trying to get back on track... I honestly have to say, Monro auto service in Manchester ,is one of the best auto repair experiences I've ever had. From tire purchases to shock replacements, brake work or a quick weld to save you time and money I've always had a great experience at this location. Brought my bike in on a Saturday! ONLY place in town I could find with a certified welder! I was greeted by the manager Joe and friendly staff. Joe was extremely accomodating, knowledgable and quick to assist! I was in and out in all of 20 minutes! Quick fix- excellent service- I highly recommend!

This was one of the best garage experiences I have ever had, I personally will never go anywhere else. My husband and I had to get 2 cars inspected and one we sent to another garage, and overall we have had a terrible experience and swore to never go back. We took our 2nd car to Monro and we have never had mechanics treat us so well. The store manager Joe was amazing and his customer service was spectacular. Excellent service! Went in for an oil change Saturday morning, was greeted right away by Dan; we were chatting about one of my tires and found him to be extremely knowledgeable about tire plugs. Before I left, he told me what the total was going to be for my oil change (hate surprises when it comes to settling a bill!) and said it would be ready within 45 minutes. He also told me they didn't close until 6 so if I didn't come back until later in the day, no problem. When I returned, my car was all set. Just a very easy experience with someone that truly seemed to enjoy his job despite the fact that it was a lovely Saturday. This was my first time visiting this location and I'll be back! I came to Joe about my start button being stuck on my jeep cherokee. When initial trials didn't work on my stubborn button, Joe was able to go to great lengths to get my car working again. A project that was looking at a heavy price tag and a lengthy wait period ended up taking Joe about an hour and had no cost at all! I could not be happier with the services I recieved at Monroe. They are extremely trust worthy and never try to up sell you. They genuinely value their customers and take extremely good care of your car. He literally had to take the whole dash of my car apart to get to the button and was able to put it back with out any other issues flaring up. I would advise anybody seeking help with their car to go see Joe and the other mechanics at Monroe on Hanover Street in Manchester.

I have had work done on my vehicles on several occasions. The manger, Joe Fredette, has a vast knowledge of and many years experience in both the hands on mechanics as well as running this business and it shows. He runs a tight ship here and I have complete confidence leaving my vehicles here. As a final observation my wife feels completely comfortable bringing her car in alone to have service done , unlike other shops she has tried, she is treated very well and is always grateful for Joe"s honesty and that he takes whatever time is needed to fully explain what is being done to her car and why. In a world where customer service seems more and more to care less and less this location is different. You won"t be dissapointed.

(Not sure you can really love a auto service place but saying I only liked it didn't seem appropriate either) Brought my car in for oil change and inspection. Joe called me to tell me that I needed a new muffler. (I knew the car was loud but I was hoping it wasn't the muffler) When I dropped the car off, they were extremely busy and only had 2 techs on. Even though they were crazy busy, they still got the part to fix the issue, installed it same day, got the inspection & oil change done, and they didn't over charge me.. being a woman, you don't always find this at a mechanic (yes I realize they are part of a chain but that doesn't mean that they couldn't find the most expensive part and try to tell me that was the only one that would fit) Joe even took the time to show me the old part and how it failed despite how busy it was. I used to go here before but I didn't have a great experience so I had stopped going for awhile. I went back out of desperation a few months ago when no one else was available. I had a better experience that time so I figured I would go back again now for my inspection and see if it was a fluke. It wasn't.

My first visit with these guys was 11/18/19, however, I can say it will not be my last! George had made an appt for me a few days back, yet remembered me even though I was a first time customer! Remembering a customer, no matter how long they have been there is key in customer service! As I was waiting for my ride to pick me up, I saw excellent customer service happening all around the shop first hand. Their prices are more than fair and reasonable. They do not try to sell you anything. Service is quick (all 4 tires and alignment were done in less than 2 hours despite the shop being so busy) and I feel like my car drives just as good as it did when I bought it brand new!

On my way to work this morning, I got a flat tire. I tried to change it myself, but that was a disaster. I called Monro in tears, and the service manager, Keith, was incredibly kind and patient. He gave me estimates for two types of tires and helped me make an informed decision. When the underlying problem was an alignment, he called me right away and gave me an accurate timeline of when it would be done. My car was quite messy, to my dismay, and I apologized to the auto technician, Nick. He said it was fine, nothing compared to the car full of parakeets he once had to work on. Keith and Nick fixed my car, but they also made sure that I didn't feel completely stupid. I will be returning to Monro for all car needs from now on.

I was recently told that my 2007 Toyota Camry was going to need a major repair on my exhaust from VIP in Derry, NH. I took my vehicle to Monroe Auto Service on Hanover Street in Manchester, NH for a second opinion. The service I received was not only superb, but also very affordable. I was provided with service I NEEDED instead of being up selled on services I did not need for my vehicle. The manager George was also very personable, funny and just an all round cool guy! Great service. Car went in for a state inspection, the rear brake pads were Gonzo, they replaced them right there along with the rotors, they discovered both calipers had busted seals. They replaced those too. Only took and hour and a half. The mechanic noticed my ebrake was super loose on the test drive and tightened it after I had already payed. Also had enjoyable conversation with the fellas during the whole time. Will definitely be bringing the car back there for other services.

I called one night as they were about to close after having an issue with my exhaust that made me very nervous. They were able to get me in first thing the next morning and made me feel at ease that they would try the less expensive option first and gave me a time frame that they would have it done even though they didnt know for sure how long it would take they made sure to have it done for me to go to work. They ended up fixing it and the price ended up being less than the original estimate which was such a relief. They did not do anything I didnt want and kept me in the loop before doing anything on my car. I really appreciate how professional they were and how great they were when I was so upset not knowing what was wrong with my car. They worked with me and I couldn't have asked for better service.. This place has made such a comeback with George taking over as manager! We went in for a quick replacement tire on our fairly new Jeep and when we went to pick it up we were told about a safety concern with our Suv. Not only did the mechanics thoroughly explain the issue but even left the Jeep on the lift to physically show us what they were talking about. The dealership we had bought our Jeep from never said anything but luckily, we still had a month or so on our warranty. If the folks at Monro did not catch this who knows what it would have cost us to fix later. If you want to actually trust your next mechanic- this is your stop!

I came in due to my Subaru running very low on oil, not only did they take me right in, they even tightened up the rattle in my heat shield at no cost. Then I received a coupon for a $10 oil change. That's unheard of! Definitely recommend!

My first review but these guys are worth it. We brought our car in because it broke down and they took it in right away. Next day they diagnosed the problem as something that the dealership had to fix and they wouldnt be able to do it unfortunately. They were quick, honest, and willing to help and on a very unfortunate day it was their efforts that were the only silver lining. They were willing to leave the car in one of their bays overnight (so it didnt get covered in snow during the current storm) and said we could take our time getting it towed away the next day. I'm sure if they were able to fix the car they would have done a great job but its their willingness to help those who truly needed it that earned them my 5 stars. I dont live in the area but if I did I would be using them for car repairs in the future! Thank you Mike!

We were on our way to a 4th of July party with our 15 month old when we got a flat tire. We rolled into Monroe and asked them if they could help us. They gave us an honest answer of “yes, but we have appointments all day so I may have to stop working on your car, it could take up to an hour”. I had a tire problem with tires installed by another tire shop, yet George took my Toyota Tacoma in, put it up on the lift, took my problem tires off and diagnosed that one of my Michelin tires was "out of round" and to bring it back to the tire company I bought them at for a new one - all for free. This guy is such a fair and straight shooter. Doesn't try to charge - although I owe him - nor would he take any consideration for the help he provided me. Will be coming here in the future.
