Brought our Volvo here yesterday and was able to get our flat tire fixed super quick! The guys were very friendly and they also put the regular wheel back on. Much appreciated. $15 cash. Had taken a different flat tire last year to a dealership and they told us the $200+ tire was unfixable. Soto surely proved them wrong.

Love this place! Been coming here for a few years now and the service is always quick, and their 110% honest! Most recently came here because Midas (on Fullerton and California) said there was a nail in my tire that was unrepairable but I never trust anyone that doesn’t let me see for myself before trying to charge me for a service so I picked up my car and took it here. They took a look at my tire and pulled out a screw that wasn’t even 1/4 of an inch long. Therefore, my tire was not punctured and needed no repair at all. Not even a patch. They put my tire back and I was on my way. Any tire services you may have, I would highly recommend you go here!

Have never left a review for anything in my life, but had to give 5 stars to Soto Tire Repair. I had a flat so I put on the spare, and drove straight to Soto. They fixed the flat, put the tire back on, checked my other tires, and filled all 4 with air in about 15 mins. Cash only and so reasonably priced. Very thankful for the kind and efficient staff.

I went to Soto Tire Repair maybe 10 years ago when I lived a couple blocks away, and they had repaired my tire quickly and efficiently. So when I discovered a flat last week having moved back to the area, I knew right where to go. It was fixed in 20 minutes, for $20. I also tipped. Still a solid, straight-forward place doing good work.

By far the best if you need to get used tires, and if you need your tires repaired. I have been going to this place for a few years, and in Chicago these guys are great. No meaningless B.S. or being hassled /convinced to purchase something you don't want. I wish i could give this place 10 stars for there ability to quickly get the job done safely and efficiently. Let's not forget to mention this place is super affordable, yes generally they only take cash, but regardless there prices are low.

Great service.every time I come here. Just the other day I went to get some tires on my vehicle checked out. The gentleman working suggested I just get new tires. They did not carry the tires required for my vehicle. He wrote down the tire size for me and recommended the website I should by then from. He gave me a reasonable rate for all 4 tires to be balanced and rotated. Within a matter of days, the tires were put on, I was charged a very reasonable rate and I was on my way.

One of my tires was leaking air where the tire meets the rim. I had the tire repaired multiple times but the fix would work for a little while and the leak would return. Took the car to Soto tire repair. The tech explained what was causing the leak and also what the other tire repair shop was doing wrong. I watched him work on the rim. He did an awesome job and when he was finished it looked like new. These guys take pride in their work and they get it done right the first time!

Ok these guys in my experience, we're very good! I've passed this place so many times over so many years, that finally I tried them. After my regular tire shop closed I was in desperate need of tire service, I had to stop in. I honestly didn't know how they worked and seen their lot full, so parked on street and walked in. They were super busy, I didn't get told anything about were to park my car for service until my turn in line. After the guy asked what I needed, he asked were my car was and I said in the street because no spots were open. He had told me to always park or wait for a spot to open because people that have been there before, know to pull in aggressively to get service right away. So, that was one mistake all new customers should take account of. So finally one guy started to work on my tire due to a slow leak, after a few minutes found a nail, and proceeded to patch it from the inside. That's what I liked, a patch not a rubber plug that other shops or even dealership want to use because they're faster to put on with little work. After the patch, another thing I loved was that before mounting the tire to the rim, he did something that other places usually never do! He actually took the time to clean both the tire and specially the rim from years of dried gunk along inside edge where tire sits! Can't tell you how important that is because if rim or tire are dirty, tire won't seal good and you'll have air leaking all the time. So after all that and my car being ready, charge was only $12!!! You guys there are awesome, thank you!

If I ever need service on my car there is always that fear in the back of my mind that someone is going to try to rip me off based solely on the fact that I'm a woman. Well I had a flat and that is exactly what ran through my mind. I went to Soto tires on California and Cortland to see what they would say about fixing me up and getting me on my way. They were GREAT! Not only was the service fast and very well priced, they were very respectful, no foul language at all. I was extremely satisfied with the service I received. Where else can you go and get a flat repaired and the tire reinstalled on an SUV for $15? No where. GO TO SOTO TIRES!

Hands down the best tire repair shop in Chicago! I remember this place from my childhood and they’ve always been customer oriented with amazing prices. I hit a pothole and bent my rim to the point where it leaked most of the air in that tire. I was only charged $15 to take the wheel off, bend the rim back and put the wheel back on my car. 10/10

I had a very slow leak. Every 2-3 weeks i would have to fill the tire up. I went in, was greeted, told him my situation, he went straight to work while I observed. They charge fair and affordable prices and have usually been able to fix a tire rather than make me replace it when I've been by a few times over the last several years. Picked up souvenir in Chicago last night! Luckily Soto tire was close to where I was staying. A local suggested them and he was right. They we're nice, professional and fast. Could've gouged me being stranded from out of state (Detroit) and all but they didn't. $15 bucks for that repair was very fair.

I stopped in for a used tire and worked with Juan. He had an absolute perfect match for my tire, right down to the tread level, in stock - I was glad about that because I have enough tread left that they don't need replacing, but on the other hand it won't be that much longer before they are ready to go, and this way I can put off replacing the set for a little while. Juan is a friendly guy - this is a family owned shop that's been in business for decades. When I replace my tires with a new set, I'm buying the tires and taking them here for the install. Don't give your money to a tire chain; go to an owner-operated shop.
