I'm a Discount tire customer for life and coming here just reaffirms this. Jake and his team are awesome. I needed trailer tires ASAP as we're traveling around the country and have a schedule to keep. I drove 2+ hours 1 way to get my tires and glad I did. Called the day before and they didn't have what I was asking for. Asked if they had anything else and they did....a better tire and I was stoked!! Ask them to hold the tires a day and they did. I had an issue getting a tire of and ruined 3 lug nuts. I asked if I could buy some from them but they gave me some replacements for free..... great job guys.

I had a really great experience with Discount Tires today. I brought my RV in to get two new tires on it. I was running a little late for my appointment and they were very polite about it. Sometimes it takes a little longer to get where you’re going with an RV. I dropped it off, grabbed a bite to eat and they texted me when it was ready. Perfect timing! My mechanic, Sam was efficient, polite and cheerful. Tires were little pricey but the service was spectacular. Well worth it! I am so pleased to see a business that is still concerned with customer service. I thought those days were gone. Well done gentlemen.

Kudos to Discount Tire of Birmingham. I purchased a set of tires from their website and made an appointment for 11:30 the next morning. I arrived at about 11:15. They took my truck in at about 11:35. I drove away at 12:07 PM! The shop is super clean. 2 guys did the work and used multiple machines to break down, mount and balance. They used manual clicker torque wrenches to tighten to spec. They finished by cleaning the new tires and treating them. No dirty handprints anywhere! Oh I almost forgot, they burnished the mating surface of the rims when they pulled them off

If you are ever needing new tires or having issues, this is the place to go! I had a flat tire last week and took it up there first thing in the morning. They patched it up & had me out the door in less than 20! Greg (the manager it seemed) was super friendly & provided great conversation for my short wait. Definitely made a customer for life.

Good customer service, the salesperson listens and do make good recommendations for what type of tires are good for your vehicle. The Technician are on point when checking your tires, tire pressure and most importantly they use a torque wrench to the right foot lbs for your tires. A lot of other companies don't do this which isn't good for your lug nuts, the studs and for your tires. Been using Discount Tires for 2 years now and will continue to use this company due to their professionalism. Thank you for putting your customers first.

Great service! I paid ahead of time online with the guarantee of being next in line with an appointment. I dropped my car off at the appointment time, walked up to BWW for lunch, came back 45 minutes later and my car was already finished. They even changed out my spare with one of the better tires they took off. I can say the service and price are 10x better than NTB across the street, which was my previous go to.

Very friendly gentleman that helped us with a screw in our tire, we were in town for my mother in laws funeral and picked it up some time driving into state from Texas or while there and he helped us immediately. Such a relief as this was the last thing we wanted to deal with after all that was going on for my husband and his family. I needed four new tires and called Discount Tire. I was greeted promptly and professionally by Jake. He provided me the information I needed and ordered my tires. I was contacted the next morning advising they were in and Jake set up an appointment for me to have them installed. In less than 30 minutes I drove out with my new tires and love them. Jake was outstanding to work with, the gentleman in the service area were dressed sharp, acted professionally and I could not have been happier. I walked in and there was no wait. They were very helpful and thoroughly checked my car. They had the wheels in stock that I needed which is great since I don’t live in Birmingham and didn’t want to take the time to bring it back. Couldn't get my rotation bc they only had 3 guys in th bays. Came in to two guys standing at the counter looking at screens. Wonder if they weren't trained to throw in and help out or what. I was there at noon and couldn't get seen until 5pm with only 12 cars ahead of me. The way most DTs in my experience rollout the numbers, this one is heavily bleeding for good help. Send people you know to get a good job!

Wonderful experience. Picked up a nail in a tire that had a slow leak. Went there, they were busy. Made an appointment & returned. They patched the hole & had me back on the road in less than 30 minutes. Excellent customer service. Nice waiting area where you can observe the repairs being done while working on laptop or other stuff. When needing tire service, this business takes care of you & your car. Plus, flats are repaired for free!!

I've been buying from these folks online since before the internet!!! That means you used to need to call and have a catalog or at least a super fine print ad. Prices and availability are great, but you may need to wait a couple days to get tires shipped or get a slot for installation. They stay busy and appointments are pretty rigid. I usually drop vehicles off and they are cool with that. If you have hi-performance or otherwise low volume tires, this is absolutely the best/cheapest/easiest place. ONE HUGE PLUS- They are straightforward and honest. MOST chains like this go over your car looking for brakes, alignment, leaks, ANYTHING to make it a more involved and costly visit, and they will often LIE. MAVIS!!! NTB!!! These guys CAN sell you a set of wheels and a 'road hazard/whatever' insurance plan, but it doesn't seem to be a big deal- they have other folks in line waiting for tires. Kinda looks like if Chick fil a started selling tires. My only gripe is if you want to call a particular store you have to wait through a recording telling you to go online.

I had a great experience with this branch of Mavis. I took my car in to replace the front brakes bc of a noise that I thought was an indicator to replace them. I was mistaken. My brakes were not the problem. Billy and Alex were the technicians and proved to be true professionals who were friendly and trustworthy. Alex checked it out and fixed the problem in 5 minutes. I will definitely go back and ask for them when it is time to replace my brake pads.

Today, Saturday September 11, 2021. I went to Pep Boys first to get tires my Sister had found on their website. However, the individual was very unprofessional, unpleasant, tired and stressed. I thanked him and left immediately to Discount Tires. I came to Discount Tires to find tires for my Sisters 2007 Audi that she had been given. I met Matthew and I told him what tires I wanted to purchase. However, my first choice was no longer available. Matthew then, asked me if I wanted to stay with that tire or was I open to looking at other tires that could fit the vehicle. I replied, yes I am. I just want to find the best tires for my Sister’s vehicle. He then told me I could come around the counter and look at the screen which show all tires. But the next one, we looked at wasn’t available. However, Brad was assisting Matthew with the tire search and told him to give me the Continental Tires for the price of the second tire and it was a very nice discount. I also received a military discount as well. Also, Matthew and Brad made me feel valued, very important and my satisfaction was a major concern. Matthew explain the tire package I had purchased to my Sister and I and what the certificate entitled her too. I give Matthew and Brad both 5 stars because of their great customer service, giving me the best deal, and making sure my Sister’s name was on the tire deal paperwork. I’m very glad I came to Discount Tires today they were kind, quick and Matthew even shine the tires and cleaned the Rims. I also give them 4 stars for the cleanliness of the waiting area, the parking lot and the female restroom. Next, my Sister was so happy and excited on having her new tires on her car. I want to say thank you Matthew and Brad for doing a wonderful job on my Sisters car and to keep up the good work.

A little over a month ago, I was riding around on “maypops.” During January, one tire had completely gone flat. A dear relative had a plug put in it, and I had been coasting on it every since. With the outbreak of COVID, it had probably lasted that long due to God’s grace and less frequent driving. Well, August came, and the car started clearly indicating that I needed tires. I went to a dealership, and the price was too high. I started looking up affordable, new tires, and I saw this. I had been passing the new shop too when I was on 280! Everyone, please give this place a shot. It’s clean, spacious, and inviting. Equally as important, the same tires were much more affordable there than at the dealership, and it didn’t take all day due to the appointment scheduling. Most importantly, the people, including the workers and the store manager, Mr. Jake, were nice. I had a good experience there, and I would recommend Discount Tires to anyone!!!

I generally put off going to any sort of car mechanics because my knowledge of car maintenance is limited, I generally feel pressured into up charges, and I never know whether I actually need something or if the mechanic just wants to make a few more bucks. Discount tire is not that place at all. Everyone there was helpful, they are very upfront about the cost, and they had me in and out in less than twenty minutes. Tire buying is never fun, but when you need to, go to Discount Tire.

Stopped by when they first opened to get my tires checked. The tire pressure sensor kept lighting up on the dash despite how many times I had my tires checked and inflated in recent months. The guy here who checked my tires noted the little caps had broken or were missing from the tire. He just replaced them for free and I was on my way, with no issues since!

I was in Birmingham taking my father to have surgery. I woke up at the hotel to find I had a flat tire. After making other arrangements to get my father and mother to UAB, I went to Discount Tire to get the tire fixed. Jake told me the tire couldn't be patched and it would take until the afternoon to get the tire I wanted. After explaining my situation, Jake put a used tire on at no charge to me so I could get back to the hospital to be with my father and mother. Jake went out of his way to help me and wouldn't let me pay him for anything. I can't thank him enough for what he did!

Super nice people working here, had my tires installed quickly, with no BS upsell at all. I used to live in another state and Discount Tire were great there too. I really appreciate that they're honest and don't try and get you to spend more than you should. I made the appointment on their website so I was done within an hour. And the place is immaculate.

Their team is so friendly and the service is immaculate. I waited inside for my tire replacement and the entire staff was extremely kind, helpful, and patient with every single customer they encountered. I had my car towed here after hours and they ordered my tires with same-day delivery on the very next day. They installed them just before closing with no rush or hassle!
