There was not wait time to check in my car. I went in at 8am, that could be the reason for the no waiting. My car was completed within an hour of dropping it off. The price was very reasonable.

Sade is phenomenal. I communicated with her throughout the day, and, despite being short staffed and essentially alone open to close, she thoughtfully and patiently handled unending phone calls, a ton of customers, mechanic communication, and everyone's concerns with grace and kindness. I hope Pep Boys higher ups are smart enough to continue to move her up to higher positions of leadership. At the very least she deserves a raise for the amount of work she is doing to keep the store running as good as it did when many businesses are failing to uphold the same in a time of uncertainty and inconsistency in staffing.

Dillon's customer service was exemplary. After diagnosing what he believed to be a low charging alternator, he had another mechanic check it out to make sure. He went even further to help save me some money on the alternator and the overall price of the service. And did I mention that instead of waiting around I was offered a Lyft home and back to pick up my car. Always a great experience at Pep Boys on Harford Road.

My tire got shredded and when calling all the tire shops Pep-boys was the only competitively priced store around. Customer rep Sade answered my call professionally reassuring me of their competence and #1 customer service. Even though the shop was booked to the brim, Sade went out of her way to communicate my emergency for the need of tire job done ASAP to her manager Steve whom unquestionably took my rim, even fixed the dent some, and mounted my tire. I was out of there 20 minutes later… This was the best bad tire day experience I have ever had and would recommend to go nowhere else but Pep Boys, because their customer service skills are unmatched by any other competition

I went to have my battery checked and was assisted by Dillon, a very patient and accommodating young man. The latch for the hood was stuck and he persevered and we got the hood up. I did need a new battery which he promptly installed. It took less time to exchange the batteries than it did to get the hood up. Through the visit he was cheerful and personable. He is the type of person who would be an excellent manager or trainer. I hope he is available the next time my car needs service.

Definitely would recommend this for all routine maintenance, tires, brakes ect. Will be returning. If my Ram 3500 8 ft bed can fit on their lift any truck can get worked on here too.

Ken greet us and made us feel welcome. He checked us in and checked what was due per manufacture orders. We was told yesterday it’s time for transmission service by another company. I went to get my tires replaced and Steven took really good care of me. I told him that I had a 10 hour drive in the morning and he wanted to make sure that I had a safe trip. We had a miscommunication about which tires were to be replaced, so he stayed after hours and fixed the problem. He even gave me a new tire for free because of it. That’s great customer service and I will be back. I’m recommending all of my friends to see Steve when they come to this Pep Boys location.

Went in for a routine oil change and service. Jimmy, the assistant manager, greeted me professionally and courteously. The service was quick and thorough. Jimmy let me know everything was great but may want to look into a few replacements down the road. He wasn't pushy or trying to up-sell me on anything. Came down first thing in the morning as soon as they opened and got my Daytime running light bulb installed. When i came in a day before they told me they dont have the part and they only installed them for $20. When i came down this morning the guy had the bulb in stock in like 5 mins and installed it free of charge. Got out of the car returning from daycare pickup and heard a hissing sound coming from the rear driver's side tire. I took a closer look and sure enough, there was a screw stuck in the flat part of the tire. Got right back in the car and headed over to Pep Boys on Harford Road hoping they could take care of it before closing. They were able to plug the tire pretty quickly with no problem, and the staff was friendly and helpful as well. Thanks for the save!

I placed a tire order and scheduled the install online. While driving to the appointment I decided to call and confirm the tires were actually in stock only to find out they had only 3 of 4 tires needed. However, Koryn drove to another store to pickup the 4th tire and Steven coordinated the resources on a busy Saturday to ensure my appointment was honored and the job was completed in a timely manner! The teamwork at this Pep Boys location was excellent! I appreciate them making what could have been a bad situation a positive one by putting me as the customer first.

I went to Pep Boys on Hartford Road as I was trying to order tires for my vehicle but because I have aftermarket wheels, the system would not allow me to order them. I went to the service department and the service manager not only assisted me with ordering my tires, he scheduled my appointment to have the tires mounted and have an alignment for Christmas Eve and had me on the road by 10:00AM. Great customer service. This is why I go to this store.

Pretty much the same as most chain outfits! But I will say the young man behind the counter that day ( sorry I forgot his name)!? Was, helpful as soon as I walked in, and towards the counter he asked if he could help! Unfortunately they didn't have exactly what I needed! ( Was looking for a 24mm nut for a front stabilizer bar! Not something most parts places would carry anyway I don't think! But, he still directed me to their help section, and bin boxes, hoping I might find one! Anyway, I didn't which was ok, but still ended buying some oil stabilizer for my car! It's is convenient to where I'm at now! They also do tires and service work!

Wonderful and most professional group of people I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. Service person Ms. Angela Elliott was wonderful . I was in desperate need of a alternator It had failed me on my way to Pep Boys and my truck had to be towed. I was at that location on the day before and the technician had diagnosed my problem. They couldn't fix it that day but told me to come back today. They were able to fit me in and repair my truck. I'm am very thankful because it was a weekend when this happened. I went into this Pep Boys location last week and after having a horrible day at work, it was great to deal with such nice people. The customer service was fantastic. I was a little confused with what I needed but right away someone was right there asking if they could help me find what I was looking for. They were great- they helped me figure out what I needed and asked if I needed anything else. This really helped me out a lot-since I'm lost when it comes to cars.. When I arrived, there was 1 person in front of me and two employees working. They both was on the phone and neither one of them said that they will be with us. So 1 guy got off the phone and helped the person in front of me and the other guy was just sitting there holding the phone and playing with his cup. At the end of the day, they performed the work on my car in a timely manner. I would definitely go back to that establishment.

I saw that many people complain about this location but I am not sure it's about the servicing part of the business which I didn't really use or because of the Lyft/Hertz desk that's located inside which i was not really happy with. So why i gave it a 3 stars is because of Lyft/Hertz team there, I had an appointment at 1 pm, i was there at 12:45 and it took them 2 hours to get my rental done which was much faster in a different location

Pep Boys on Harford Road & Moravia in Baltimore. Service writers are pretty knowledgeable. But, thats NOT why I'm giving them 5 stars. They have a female mechanic there named Felicia. This woman is a BADASS mechanic. She can work circles under the hood around most of her male co-workers. Don't know where she got all her knowledge, but, I'm not leaving my 10 year old Tahoe there unless I KNOW she's working. The service department's customer service is pretty good. Like any other parts/service store, they'll try to sell you everything under the sun, which can be expected, but, if you don't need it, she won't do it. I'll keep going back as long as she's there. If she transfers, I'll follow. Good job in hiring her Pep Boys. She's the gem of your shop.

For items that you can do yourself, Pep Boys is a good choice. They recently remodeled the waiting room and it is much improved. I have only had minor work done, such as replacing a headlight and buying oil to add (not change) to my car, so I don't feel qualified to rate them higher or lower.

I came here for new windshield wipers and had a staff person pull them for me. I pulled around to the shop side to have them install them and they said they were the wrong ones. I went back inside and Syd looked it up on the computer and then went out to look at my car. After pulling a bunch of different wipers he wound up having to give me 2 different wipers from 2 different makers (which I've never had happen before) but he charged as if I had bought 1 pack of wipers instead of selling me 2 different packs. All in all, it took about an hour and a half to get my wipers changed but I do appreciate Syd taking the time to research and make sure I had what I needed.

Pep Boys at Harford Rd were very accommodating. We got break pads and rotors changed in our Car and we heard some noises from the car a couple of weeks later. We came back to the service center without an appointment and they were very helpful and willing to take a look. They even gave us some things on the house for our inconvenience. Jimmy, who works at Pep Boys was very helpful and courteous over the phone and in person. He is a great employee. I would come back here everytime.
