Awesome. I had the fortune of being seen to by Mr. Daryl, the store manager. I was received promptly for my 4pm appointment and, above my expectations, was promised that even though they closed at 6pm, he would stay until my car was done. Very polite, excellent service. They even pulled my car up right to the front door for me.

DJ and team were great! Super quick service! They said my tire change would take an hr and a half because of appointments before me, but it only took a half hour. Prices seemed reasonable, too. Def will go back.

Found a great deal on tires via website and ordered them. The tires were never delivered and couldn't be found anywhere close. After 4 days the store did agree to price match similar tires. During installation they were going to charge over $200 to remove two locking lugs because my key was broken, an obvious attempt to claw back some money for the tires. I ended up taking 15 min to do it myself.

I came to Mr. Tire on Howard St with a busted tire. This was my first time getting my car fixed. Tia was very professional & pleasant. She inspected the car & let me know what issues were wrong with the car, things I had no idea was wrong. I asked her if it were okay if they added those issues along with the tire change. She was more than happy to help. Her customer service at the site & over the phone were EXCELLENT. She took her time to explain things. I am very appreciative & will be back for future maintenance.

It was amazing and the mechanics were so friendly. I will always come back to this location. They get the on done in a great and timely manner. They teach you what should be done and why which I truly appreciate because I don’t know much about cars. They will price you out for your eject services and give you the timeline that it needs to be done. I will always go back to this location and refer loved ones.

Tia had been exceptional during my visit at Mr Tire. I was recovering from major orthopedic surgery, my car had lots of problems for being idle for over two months. She and her team were very efficient and kept me updated while I waited for my service (a lot of service) to be completed. Now my car is in great condition and I plan to keep coming back!

I was a bit concerned with the recent reviews for this company as they are all negative, but there are many positive reviews for them. But I needed service right away; got there at 850 for an oil change and a flat. They estimated an hour, but it took an hour fifteen instead. Still reasonable considering they were already busy. The leak couldn't be located in the tire as there probably isn't one. Ten hours later and it's still holding the air. They didn't charge for the labor of trying to find the leak and only charged me for the oil change. They were friendly and informative over the phone and in-person. I will return in the future. It can be hard finding trust worthy mechanic in the city. I have been burned one too many times. Thank you! P.S. They didn't ask me to leave a review. That's incredible considering how many reviews there are.

My friend needed a tire repair last Sunday (March 27). There was one person working the entire shop. He took care of my friend's car and worked hard helping others. It was crazy busy. I have been using the Mr. Tire on 21st Street in Baltimore for at least 13 years (I've lost track). They are customer-focused to the max: they have always been straight shooters, have never tried to upsell, have always honored warranties on tires that failed, and have always completed their work in an acceptable amount of time. They perform their work expertly, and pricing is reasonable. I always recommend them to anyone who is looking for auto service, as I am doing here.

On 1/9/2022 I received great customer service by Dustin. He got me out very quick and efficient. He was respectful to all customers during my time there. Once again, 5 star, A1 service! I will always come here. Got a new tire today at this location. Darnell provided me with A1 services. Very professional with myself and other customers. I only waited close to 30 minutes to get everything done. They were quick and efficient. Update 11/09/2020. Once again, Darnell came in the clutch to provide that A1 service. As long as I live in the area, I will continue to go to this location and recommend to my family and friends!

Frank is very friendly and the staff there has worked on my 2009 Honda on several occasions. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place for whatever car service you need! They do everything here... not just tires! From my last visit I know they can get busy so I called ahead and then I spoke with Frank. From the start to finish he gave me the best customer service I ever had!! I came in and Frank greeted me with a smile. He listened and went the extra mile to take my car on a test drive. And answered all my questions & or concerns! As a female I had a lot of questions since I really don’t know anything about cars. Again he listened and I didn’t feel like I was getting taken advantage of. Which is a plus! First off, I've always had good service at several Mr. Tire locations (Catonsville, White Marsh and now Howard St) and have felt comfortable with their recommendations. They have consistently told me honestly what needs to be done and what can wait. I know a little bit about cars and it's nice to find a place you won't be swindled. Recently I brought my car in for control arm replacement and they saved me $500+ by not replacing parts that were still good and only replacing the parts that were about to go. Awesome! Thank you Dave & Mark! I've had my car serviced at this location a few times now and it's become my new shop. Highly recommend!

I went to Mr. Tire for an oil change. I had an appointment for 8:00 a.m. When I arrived, I was told that my appointment was not in the system. However, Shakeira (the Manager) put me on the schedule. There was one customer before me who needed a tire repair. More customers started arriving. The mechanic was complaining to Shakeira, and was disrespectful to her, in front of customers. He told Shakeira that he did not do repairs to tires nor oil changes. He gathered his belongings and left. The customer before me and I started to worry that our vehicles would not be serviced. Another employee, Douglas, who was learning a new job in the office immediately went out to the bay and started working on our cars. He and Shakeira assured us that our issues would be resolved expeditiously, and they were. A big shout-out to Shakeira and Douglas!

I came in for tire patching but my tires were too old. I was helped by the assistant manager, Iyesha. She was very respectful and kind. I ended up buying 4 new tires and had my one previous (not completely bare) placed on the back of my suv as a spare. Great service.

I rarely give reviews, but these guys fixed my tires up on a Saturday evening when I was so much in a hurry to get out of town even though it was almost their closing time. They were really polite and friendly as well. Mr. Tire is the best place to be on a Saturday afternoon or any day as a matter of fact! I really appreciate these guys.

Great experience here! I had driven over a piece if metal and I wanted to check for a leak. They were very busy, but the manager (I think) did a quick visual inspection on the spot so I didn't have to wait or leave the car there. Luckily there wasn't one, but he was kind enough to top off my tires while I was there. Frank and his team are absolutely amazing! Would get an oil change here over Valvoline any day! Tires and service are great too. I hate having to do anything with my car other than to pump gas and drive. I walked in the door with what some would call an attitude. When I approach the counter it must have been written all over my face that I didn’t want to be there. Vinnie greeted me with a smile and a joke. I couldn’t do anything but laugh. His humor and kind gesture soften my attitude. Service like this is hard to find and it was greatly appreciated. He provided excellent service and made suggestions to make sure I keep my car in good shape. I’m definitely suggesting this Mr. Tire location and Vinnie is the man.

Very honest and straight forward service. They made sure to point out any issues they saw with my vehicle when they were changing my tires; but weren't pushy when I refused additional service. I took an UBER home so I could get some work done, and they called me while I was walking through my front door. All included, it took about an hour and a half for new front tires.

Excellent! I called them up at 4 in the afternoon just to see if they could get me a set of tires, as I have kind of a rare tire size. Not only did they have a set in their warehouse, but they told me if I came in right away, they could install them that day! This is more like a 2 part review. PT 1: So, the first time I came to this location (a year ago) I was not greeted and waited forever just for this nonchalant, attitudinal man named Mike to tell me that my tire order was lost. He had no explanation, zero customer service skill and wasn't trying to make it right even tho I had my receipt in hand. After the issue was finally resolved I vowed to never return to this location. PT 2: Fast forward to a week ago. I went in having no choice because of the limited time I had and was completely surprised. Not only did I get everything I needed done in a timely fashion but the man that assisted me was so kind, attentive and courteous. This time as I left this location I felt that my money was well spent and I will definitely be coming back if Vincent Gilliam is going to be there. You could say I am now a repeat customer. I have been going to this Mr. Tire for years. You live in the city, you'll have issues with your tires. Well, these folks take car of my car. They are friendly, get you in and out as quickly as possible, and are professional and up front about things (the wait, repairs, etc). I would recommend calling ahead if possible and making an appt. - because they are a good place, people go there. Today, Frank greeted me at the front desk with a smile, looked at the tire and explained the issue, expedited my check in, and just as I was settling in for a wait, he called me up to tell me the car was done. The manager Mark was so sweet and helpful! I’m a month and some change over due for this review. I came in randomly one day because my tire had kept going flat. Mark scheduled an appointment time for me to come back later on. I came back to get my tire assessed and as we waited he kept my 3 year old entertained making the wait a lot less stressful for me. This place is awesome! My hubby and I were on our way back home from our mini roadtrip and saw a tire pressure light coming on. We realized one of our tire went almost flat. (Mild panic... because we were still hours from home.) We tried local tire centers around us and none could look at our car because they were all about to close and were not accepting additional cars to repair till the following day. (Mild panic continues... D:) We came to Mr. Tire and hubz and I said to one another, "if they say no too, then we will just drive home and keep our fingers crossed." Thankfully, someone from Mr. Tire was able to take a look at our car and offered to do the repair and made it quick! Really appreciate the fantastic service. Kudos to Manny and team! Thank you!!

I finally feel like I found a tire place that I can trust! Last week, a gentleman there went above and beyond for me. I had purchased 2 new tires the week prior, and then had a flat on what I assumed was one of the new tires. I brought it in and discovered that it was not, in fact , the tire that they had installed, but one of my old tires. This man took the time to inspect that tire, and show me that my rim was rusting out, causing a bad fit, and air leaking out. He then proceeded to sand down all the rust on the rim, making it as shiny and new looking as a penny! And then- he would not accept payment! I regret that I failed to get his name, but this is indicative of all the staff there, everyone is very friendly and nice. I was quite blown away by how much effort he put into to doing this for me and appreciate it more than I can express. It is very hard to find anyone in the auto service industry willing to go such an extra mile for a customer. I plan to remain a Howard Street Mr. Tire customer for as long as I drive a car. I highly recommend them. And to that gentleman: thank you so much for for your kindness and expertise!

The level of customer service here is remarkable. The new manager John and tech Gerald took excellent care of me in a very timely fashion. I was the last customer and felt like I was the first one of the day. I definitely give them 5 stars.

I HIGHLY recommend this shop to everyone. They don’t just do tires they do everything! From the time i stepped on their grounds i was treated with nothing but respect from the manger Frank and Vinnie (the tech who worked on my car) they didn’t try to up charge me like other shops do and they. A couple months ago I got a flat tire and came in right before closing to get a replacement. I had a long drive ahead of me and they were the only shop willing to take me in so late. These guys at the shop helped me out even at the end of a long day, and kindly stayed open for me a few minutes past closing. It was the greatest gift and turned around a terrible day. I took my car to the dealership for an oil change this past summer, only for them to tell me that I needed new brakes and rotors. The previous year, to my knowledge I had front brakes and rotor resurfacing done while Mr. Tire was under a previous manager. Let's just day, the manager might have screwed me over. I called Mr. Tire right away, explained my issue to Charlie, the new manager, and he told me he would take care of my car if I brought it in. I took my car to Mr. Tire, Charlie told me that he would figure out what my car needed and replace the pads at no cost to me. Well, I guess Charlie couldn't figure out what had been done under previous management because he gave me all new brake pads and rotors for free.99 (low to no cost)!!! What a great manager and guy who believes in customer service! I would definitely visit again.

Came in toward the end of the work day, they immediately said, "How can I help you today?" Was in and out in under 30 mins for a consult (what ended up being a tire patch) despite there being two other people being helped (they were there before I had arrived.) I just watched a movie on their large TV, sitting on the comfortable couch in the waiting area. I will be returning for future services.

Always great service. Went here after Sears was unable to help me--Honda Fits have unusual tires, I guess--and the Sears Auto employee recommended them. They were awesome! The guy even offered to run across town to get the tire I needed when I wasn't in the mood to go find a third auto shop that day (another location had it in stock). I visited Mr. Tire yesterday after going to Firestone where they claimed they couldn’t patch my tire and told me I would need a new one. I decided to to get a second opinion at Mr. Tire. Vinnie and the rest of the staff were very friendly fast and knowledgeable. I was patched paid and back on the road in 15 min for $40. Firestone has lost a customer for life. I had a great experience at this location of Mr.Tire's!!! Frank (the salesman) was more then patience with me with my many calls, when I finally came into the store he showed me some tires, I am very big on reviews and rating so I came in with two brands I was interested in, both his store didn't carry. He told me that he could get them right away!!! The best part about the deal was he priced matched with Walmart with both the tires and labor so I saved 220.00 from the oriinal qoute!!! I will always go back for my tire needs because of the friendly and hospitable enviroment that I was welcomed in!!! Thanks again Frank!!! The only complaint I had was when the new tires were put on they weren't cleaned up, but I got great service and tires so I am happy!!!

I had 4 new tires put on my 2008 Honda Pilot today at this location and I encountered none of the "hard sell" or run-around reported by other commenters. In fact, despite being short-handed and obviously tired out after a long day, the people were courteous, friendly, and very laid back. The price was pretty competitive, too. Overall I was very happy with the service and the over all experience. I guess if I had to make one suggestion it's that if you're in a hurry and want to wait, you may want to check how busy they are before you go in. Like I mentioned, they were short staffed today and admitted that they were somewhat behind. This wasn't a problem for me because I was able to drop off the car and walk to work (and then walked back after 5 to pick up the car), but I can imagine that if someone were in a situation where they needed tires in an hour and the store was sort a mechanic the wait might take a bit of time. That being said, what made me happy was that they were very honest with me about the situation today and I'd imagine that they'd be just as honest with anyone else if they asked how long they'd have to wait. Overall a really positive experience...and that's not easy to say when you have to spend the money to get all new tires! :)

I can't recommend these folks enough. Mister Frank Smith was so helpful to me when I got a flat and damaged TPS sensor (just a few months after purchasing all new tires). Everyone there was kind and courteous and Mister Smith helped me figure out how to get the services I needed within my very tight budget. They're 100 percent worth it.

I recently purchased a fourteen (14) year old truck. I took it to Mr. Tire for inspection. After giving it a very thorough inspection, it was returned to me in a timely manner. the employees were professional and friendly. It did not pass;; but, I only had two (2) things to fix. Subsequent getting them fixed, I dropped my truck back off the following week. Again, the employees were fired;y, thorough and professional. I was able to pick up my vehicle and my inspection documentation saying PASSED.

Several years ago Mr Tire on Howard Street really hosed me. Charged me for parts I didn't need and unnecessary work. Easy enough, never go back there. Their loss, my money spends everywhere. Recently I had an automotive problem in Baltimore City. I spoke to their new assistant Manager JOHN BROWN (MR Tire PEOPLE PLEASE NOTE AND COMMEND). He was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and eager to solve the problem, which he did! And in record time. I only hope after time, he does not burn out, cuz he was THAT good, and I'll be back. I went here last week for an alignment and the man at the front desk told me it would take an hour and it only took an hour. They were able to work on my car as soon as I walked in, which was a little surprising since it was a Saturday; I thought it would be crowded. Miss Ty is the best! ALong with Mr. Ron. I came here to buy new tires for my 22" tires. As expected they were very pricy, however Miss Ty took very good care of me. Sadly the next morning my brand new tires were flat, and i had my car towed to the shop. I was informed that my rims had cracks in them, and therefore would not hold any air. I was instructed to go get my original rims and tires that came with my car so they could munt those instead. Took off the 22s and put my factory tires back on and didnt charge me for doing that! Im disappointed that my new tires wouldnt hold air due to pre damage on my 22's hoever HIGHLY satisfed with the shops efforts in assisting someone in a tight spot, and not looking to dig into your pockets by nicekl and diming you. My ONLY complaint is not with her, its due to the fact that i dropped my car off at 9am, the tires i needed were at another shop so they had to be bought to the shop were my car was. The tires were not delivered until 5:30 in the eveing, and had my wife and kids sitting until 7:30 (after hours) to install the new tires. Thats completly the companies fault, and logistics should be tightned up a bit in that aspect. Besides that the shop was on point!
