We had an amazing experience with this big O tire store. The store manager got us in right away for a tire emergency and then made sure the rest were balanced and safe. The work was quick and efficient and the staff are very professional. I would not hesitate to come here again to buy tires or have my vehicle serviced or my current tires. Nathaniel Waites and his crew were awesome. They checked out my car top to bottom. I went In because a sensor kept telling me my tires were low, my tires were fine and they reset the sensors and didn’t charge me a dime. Typically most places charge a ton for every little thing and these guys truly only charge for services they have to. Excellent customer service as well.

I have a trip planned for Florida and my front tire lost a strip of tread down to the belts earlier this day (January 13, 2023). I spoke with Nathaniel to get new tires, oil change, and filters changed. I made a walk-in appointment for January 14, 2023 since the tires will not be available until the 14th. The thing I liked was that he understood my situation and after I dropped off my car thinking I would be waiting overnight, I received a call from Nathaniel giving me an update. He informed me that my car would be ready THAT night (January 13, 2023) to my surprise. My car's work was completed by the end of their working hours, and I was able to begin my road trip exactly at the time I originally had it planned. Nathaniel was excellent at communicating with me the pricing and time frame for work's completion. His humor was highly welcomed and made the experience that much better during a time of unanticipated circumstances. Thank you Nathaniel and to your crew as well. You all make a great team and will be a repeat customer.

I've been taking my cars to Big O for 20 years - Costa Mesa Ca, Santa Fe NM, Dana Point Ca and now Albuquerque NM and have ALWAYS had a positive experience. One of the first times I took my car in for at tune up and they told me it didn't need a tune up. They could have done the work and charged me, but they were honest. Imagine that - an honest mechanic! For 20 years I've been treated the same way no matter which Big O it was, Cali or NM. Felix and the guys at Juan Tabo are friendly, professional, punctual, thorough - an amazing team.

Antonio, the manager, has made me a lifetime customer. After three trips to the Albuquerque Jeep dealership who three times said they fixed my shimmy and didn't, Antonio explained that, although the caster and camber were dead-on the toe-in wasn't. He even showed me a printout that made it obvious what the problem was. On the drive home, the shimmy was gone. Finally! I wore out two expensive knobbies before going to Big O. I wish I hadn't bought the extended service plan from Jeep - I might have gone to Big O sooner. The reason for today's visit was to put the stock tires back on my Jeep in hopes that would fix the problem, but Antonio said he could check my alignment for free, so I thought, "Why not?" While doing the work I came for, he also checked all the levels and replaced the cabin and air filters, which were nasty (something else the dealership was asked to do and didn't). We didn't have to wait for them to start work, either. Antonio met me in the parking lot to ask me what I needed. He didn't just stand behind the counter and wait for me to come in. And by the time I was finding my seat in the waiting area, my truck was already in the bay getting checked out. I've had many poor experiences getting work done on my vehicle. But I've never been given the help, consideration and respect shown by Antonio at any other place, ever. It's rare to get that level of help at any auto repair place, especially one that you would think only sells tires. Thanks Antonio, and thank you Big O!

Had a slow leak in my tire on a 2021 Jeep. Larry H Miller Jeep refused to fix it. I have the stock Jeep 35" rims with bead locks. Jeep said, "we don't have the tools to do it." Yes, really. Big O/Felix Otero said they would look at it. We dropped the jeep off, and within an hour, Derek, the technician, had it done and called me back. Very professional and fast service. Bring your Jeeps/4x4s here for big tire service.

I came in on a cold snowy day to get my tire fixed. Other locations had a hour plus wait just for a tire repair. I had my kids with me. An hour wait would have been to much for us. Nathaniel got me in and they fixed my tire as soon as we arrived! The customer service from all the staff was Amazing! The store was very clean and the bathrooms as well. I have always had great service at Big O with their tires and the last several years with oil changes and alignments. But today they went above and beyond. After the oil change they rotated my tires (free) and after leaving the shop one of my hubcaps come off. I went back to see if it was there and they replaced all four with brand new ones. I waited to post this review because not only was the price ridiculously low, the truck was also finished In an absurd time. I was SURE there was a catch and things would go wrong. It's been weeks since the repair and I could not be more enthralled with everything. The customer service was impeccable. The waiting room was better than any I've been in for awhile, the bathroom was clean and smelled good, free bottles of water in a fridge while you wait. Even the mechanic that took care of it came out and thanked me and asked if I had any questions. Beyond impressed and they have officially stole our business from everyone else. Big O and Derek Martinez saved the day - for the 2nd time. When we were moving from Phoenix to Denver in 2020 they diagnosed an issue with my truck. They told me they couldn’t fix it and made some recommendations for alternatives. They didn’t charge me anything. Then, we made another trip that went thru Albuquerque. While in town we got a tire pressure warning. Derek got air in the tire but double checked and found a nail in the tire. They fixed it and got us on our way. Great job from the entire team!

They were very courteous to me when I came in to have my car checked. There was an awful vibration in my tires and my motor was making strange loud noises as well. I don't understand cars very well and am wary of mechanics because I feel like some can "find" other things "wrong" with your car to fix, just to run up the bill. The mechanics and receptionist here first were very kind - they looked at my car and took it for a short test drive with me to hear and see what I had explained to them. They offered their diagnosis and solution and their prices to carry out said solution for free - in other words, a free estimate. I gave it some thought and decided to go through with the repairs. First off, they were extremely helpful. I live alone and work near by - I didn't have anyone to help pick me up or drop me off while my car was with them. So, they gave a ride from the shop to work and really worked with my schedule to accommodating my needs. I thought this was really nice. They took the morning to carry out the repairs and my car has been running smooth and quiet ever since. They actually showed me the things wrong with my car when they gave me the estimate - giving me visual proof and assurance they were fixing what really needed fixing - after the repairs they even gave me one of the beat up parts they replaced - and man was it really beat up. Even as someone who knows nothing about cars, I could see that they replaced a part that was really deteriorating - and the proof of their knowledge is in my car running smooth and quiet now! I was extremely satisfied with their customer service, patience, ability to SHOW me what I was getting, good prices, and most of all, the results. I highly recommend this location.

This wasn't a great experience. I went to get an alignment. Was told I would need some new front tires before they did an alignment. I said okay. They put the front tires on and then told me they could not align my car due to some leaking fluid. Had I know this from the beginning, I wouldn't have purchased the tires until I could get an alignment. But they already had them on the car and I was running out of time. I wasn't very happy.

I stopped by without an appointment on a Saturday morning about 0800 to have a tire punctured tire replaced and it was repaired at no charge within 30 minutes! The Assistant Manager (Derek Martinez) provided exceptional customer service and made sure to ask the right questions before putting the repaired tire back on the car. (My front tire was punctured, but because I have an AWD vehicle I had to rotate the rear tire to the front and put the spare on the rear. Derek made sure to rotate the tires and ensure the repaired tire went back on the front.) Don't know if it's due to new [local] management or some mandate passed down from corporate, but the Juan Tabo Big-O now finds all sorts of 'problems' with you vehicle. Take your vehicle in for a simple job and they tell you that hundreds of dollars worth of parts and labor are needed. Example: A simple caster/camber shim that you can buy at any auto parts store for less than $15 is quoted as costing $80. OK, I can swallow a 100% markup on a part, but not that much. I'm sure this new style of running a business is raking in lots of money. Consumer beware. I'll take my vehicles to Chet's from now on for alignment and across the street to Discount for tires [ouch!]...
