Although there are some good deals sometimes, other times I just kind of scratch my head and think, "Are they serious?" Like a half used candle for $3.49. I can go to Walmart and buy a brand new one for that price. Store managers I understand having to make quota but you're supposed to be checking these carts before they go out. Do better.

Before on left and after on right. I love it miss lady did my eyebrows perfect just like I wanted and. Cost $11. For same price I used to go to pretty eyebrow threading so far on 16th street and Indian school for just clean up :( .... in coming here for now on thank you so much :)

I like this Goodwill it’s nice and clean most of the times, I wish that the kids side was a little bit cleaner and I could never find the toddler sizes right but this is by far one of the better Goodwills. Always has good furniture the prices are always right they never overcharge and the staff is really friendly don’t have any complaints on that end to be honest.

From Trash to Cash

Great selection of quality items at this Goodwill location, just south of Scottsdale in North Tempe. The store is clean and well organized, and the staff are helpful and friendly. There's plenty of parking, and if you are not concerned with needing to park right up front, you can usually find a nice shady spot to park, under one of the trees along the back of the parking lot.

Very nice and clean store. Everything is well organized and it's the first Goodwill I've seen that isn't super ghetto. It's pretty busy on Saturday but you should still be able to find some good deals.

Great store!! Has the BEST AND CUTEST clothes in the area! And such a great price too! I come here A LOT, so I'm sure the employees are tired of seeing me. But if so, they're still really friendly and always super helpful! The store is also always really organized and you can tell they really keep it clean. Plus the guys in the back are so nice when you donate stuff or buy heavy items. If you do come, download the Goodwill app! They have a coupon for 20% off for December. This may seem like a paid or fake review, but I just really love this store a lot. I furnished my whole apartment and closet with this store. It's how I could decorate my new apartment with Christmas decorations. You could probably even catch me here at your next visit! It's really great!

My husband and I always have fun when we go to Goodwill. We laugh, and have a great time. Tonight a lady with a French accent helped us, she is so sweet. There is another lady who works in the front, she has black hair, speaks Spanish looks like she's in her 40's she's great to. There are a couple guys that leave much to be desired. Fun finds for repurposing projects. The women's clothes are always clean (but always wash any clothes you purchase in the hottest water possible for the fabric), and other than the electronics section, things are pretty well organized and grouped together.

This is an oddball in the Goodwill Collective; big on busy, very University-centric for its location (and perhaps seemingly far from ASU due to its Salt River separation from the fine educational institution) and I fused with a sense of nowheresville. For a full year I geographically doomed its neighborhood as the slums of Scottsdale when -in fact- it was Tempe the entire time. Shame on non-native me. The lack of bike lanes was one of those misleading factors). Good finds here? The dizzying array of constantly changing clothes for those gentlemen not yet in the grip of middle-age spread.

First time going, everyone was so friendly and welcoming it was like I knew them all my life lol. Found the cutest name brand clothes: clothes you would normally spend 20-30$ on all under 10$!! I loved going so much that I wanna go back already again. Other goodwills have been bleh and never made me want to go back but this one I’m just like “oooooo I wanna go again” my family and I had a great time looking at the old vintage stuff to new stuff and just generally love the good vibes goodwill brings makes target and Walmart boring lol

I'm giving three stars because Goodwill has a very bad habit of overcharging for use items when you can find new items for lesser prices I hope somewhere they fix that and change that other than that the store is clean and organized but the quality of the clothes are here and there

Ok so im a fan of Goodwills.... I love them and I think they are really doing something special for the environment......I stop by at a bunch of the them in the valley that I can get to each month. I'm not a reseller or anything, just a mom of 4 who loves a discount lol. But lately I've been noticing that the prices have been skyrocketing at quiet a few of these Goodwills. You sell USED clothing and other household items that you receive FOR FREE strictly from donations... yet you are seriously trying to charge $25 for a pair of USED Adidas shoes???!? A pair of Nike leggings You are pricing them at $12.99 now??? I won't even pay those prices for brand new items let alone used lol. If you keep raising all the prices then the entire Goodwill mission is going to just fail. And that's just really sad.

They usually have a great selection of many different items. I looked for a visor and was unable to find any until I got to goodwill. It was the last visor (sorry) but thank you for saving my hike. Ever time I go in, I almost always leave with something lol.

I came here a few times to donate some clothes. They've always been very nice and the cashiers always have thanked me for the donations. Really love their enthusiasm. Other than, I never really bought anything from their store. Did use their restroom though. It was reasonably clean- cleaner than I had expected. Just really wouldn't go shopping here though- some of the stuff looked pretty meh...

The prices at this location are high . There was allot of people there as well. No safety measures being taken. I found some cute things tho. But just a note ...... the quality isn't the best . Same prices at Marshall's and not worn. Lol. Lower your prices !

Inconsistant pricing. You could see two identical itema with two different prices. Sometimes they price at roughly retail. I got a lot of books in the past but haven't found anything lately. They also had great sections for children's book at many locations. The donation area was better in the past.

Today was not fun. The manager came up to our new cashier while he was counting change back from a hundred creating the problem for him not to give us the appropriate change. She was leaving, and I asked her if she was the day manager & her response was, ' I am THE manager.' Thought in my brain: You're about to get taught! I explained to her that we didn't get the correct change & she said in no uncertain terms that he should know & now she'll have to go back in & count his drawer. I said, instead of talking at her trainee maybe she should've helped him. My fiance told them to donate it ($5) towards her training! Well, here's hoping!

Great for seasonal items like last-minute Holloween costumes since this store has a lot of people going through picking it clean. I was lucky enough to stumble in on a Saturday when they have their 50% off everything sale. They have daily specials on top of that too.

I have to say that I am so very fond of one of your employees, Elaine Gaye. She goes above and beyond helping anyone, not just me. She is always in such a positive and perky mood that it makes me feel better just being around her. She is one awesome human being and this Goodwill location is SO lucky to have her. Awesome experience!! Today the 1/2 price discount color was purple....and as a special they said all purple tags were only $1.00. WHOOOHOOO!! Bargain city baby! They were stocked to the hilt with miscellaneous items. The clothes were very nice, not trashy like other Goodwills I've been to.

This is one of my favorite Goodwill locations. The selection of clothes here is awesome because of it's location right in between ASU & Old Town Scottsdale. I had a little issue with something and management offered an awesome solution. I've always had a positive experience at this Goodwill location

This is a great Goodwill. It is clean, organized, generally maneuverable as it is seldom packed. This location generally has a fantastic array of clothing and items to purchase, much of which is name brand and in good condition. I feel some Goodwills in lower income areas just can't keep nice 2nd hand on the racks- it get's dwindled down to the has-been items that won't sell. This location never has that issue. I will say this about this location, they are much more attentive while tagging items and not afraid to ask for more money. That said, you will find a lot of clothes are $14.99, $19.99. A small Fossil purse I liked was $24.99 (though in good condition) Their costs can be a little high considering they get all of these items for free and they are used, but all in all, a great location.

Goodwill is the BEST place to look amazing with quality name brand or even retro chic clothing. I have a pair of $500 prescription Gucci glasses....$23 I splurged for there and the community based programs for employment, education and training makes the deals more just a pleasant bonus.

I'm not really sure why people say the selection is lacking... seems fine unless you go on 1/2 price days (every other saturday). Lots and lots of fun things to find for good prices. The only thing that I have against this location is some of the customers... that part of North tempe is overridden with druggies. They announce a security sweep over the intercom every 10 minutes or so to deter these junkies from stealing it's so bad.

They have some good stuff, better than in Mesa anyway, but their fitting rooms are as horrible as in any Goodwill. No chair, no place to put clothes, only ONE hook, people put clothes on a dirty floor, and then shop assistants take it and put it back, dirty and dusty. What's wrong with Goodwill fitting rooms??

I visited here on a half priced Saturday. I know that is a crazy day, but the store was insane. The parking lot was over full with people backing out and almost hitting us twice, screaming babies in the store, and only two checkout lines open. The lines were very long and the staff seemed overworked and very unhappy to be there. However prices were great!

This store has a large clothing section and interesting items in the electronics section. The furniture is more on the used upscale side in comparison to other Goodwill stores, which is nice to see. The staff was very nice and helpful.

Good prices on most stuff. Went on first Saturday of this month to take advantage of 1/2 off everything store wide. Only doesn't apply to seasonal items. If you need to furnish a new place on a budget, hit them up on 1/2 price days.

Good stuff, but everything is way more expensive there than any of the other ones. Items that would be 4.99 elsewhere are priced at 5.99-8.99. Then they'll have a size L Free People sweater top that's STILL selling on the FP site for $90 priced at $6 Not that i'm complaining about the last one.... but if your just looking for basics or essentials, go elsewhere. If you're looking for that unique piece that just might be priced right, esp. On half off saturday, this is the place to go. I even saw a pair of 7 for all Mankind Dojo jeans WITH the original tag still on for like $8.99, and its half off day so they woulda been $4.50......... oh if i were that skinny..... 😭 The lady working the dressing room was AWESOME, and honestly that cant be easy to do working the dressing room on half off day.... usually most of them are rude and act like anyone who doesnt buy everything they try on is the bane of their existence. She was cool. Very slightly older lady, asian or Pacific islander maybe (im bad at guessing), bright smile. Much appreciated.
