Great place to shop!! The furniture section had everything you could need to start your first apartment!

Can be pricy at times. Strong recommend looking into dangers of fabreeze before buying clothes from here. Most of their clothing inventory reeks of fabreeze, making the clothes sickeningly scented and impossible to wash with other clothes unless you want the smell and chemicals to spread to all your clothes. If they would stop using fabreeze it would be five stars because they have a great selection. Just they use cancer causing sprays that don’t clean the clothes, just provide a blanket of poisonous perfume that cover up how dirty the clothes actually are. Neither washing the clothes nor using a vinegar rinse will get the fabreeze out. If enough people write a review about this, maybe Care and Share will change its ways and fulfill its potential and become the best clothing thrift shoppe that has ever existed. Reply: idk I guess you guys don’t use it if you say but I’m just saying my mom is an expert and she says there’s febreeze in there. I’ve noticed that some clothes don’t have the smell but I’m just saying for the good of the public that most of your clothes smell like fabreeze and it’s impossible to get out. I guess then most of your donations just have the smell. Maybe it’s just very strong laundry freshening sheets from a majority of the donations? Does a portion of your donations come from maybe a single donator that treats their clothes? I don’t know the real answer, but my mom says the clothes are definitely treated with something that resembles fabreeze, and it all boils down to the fact that i gotta believe my mom. Plus most of the clothes have the same smell. Nothing but helpful pointers here, and I really do think care and share is the best thrift spot out there not just for clothes but really most things(besides vintage Pyrex and most film cameras, they’re in the eBay store where I can’t get any good deals on them😭)

Staff and volunteers are always professional, helpful, nice to customers. Stores are neat and orderly. You would never know it was a Thrift Shop due to the care given to each aspect of the organization. Staff constantly rotates stock for maximum exposure and opportunity to make purchases. There is an excellent variety of items and the variety is refreshed often. Each week there are discounts by color-coded tags, first responder day, birthday discounts and Saturday 75% off color tag days. Highly recommended for your Thrift Shopping circuit

great selection of furniture here. the stuff is really nice and they have a good selection of furniture, electronics and other random household stuff like pictures and even frames. They have specials all week where a lot of stuff can be as much as 75% off on certain days of the week. The prices are good too, not super expensive for good retro furniture.

As I've noticed when shopping in several thrift stores recently, prices on the whole have increased. C & S is included in this group. I did find several items that I did purchase, but left even more on the shelves. As always, workers were quite pleasant. I just wish I could have brought home a few more.

But anyway get clothing store but variety store is great too. Miss working at that store, wish they would let u work again even if you left on great terms and I even shop A lot yet at the stores.. We're first timers and just went to the donation center, but were very pleased with how easy and organized it was. They keep things flowing while also ensuring they get useful items that are not just tossed all together in a bin. If you are donating, it helps to have your items sorted into categories like clothing, small electronics, toys, books, household items/decor, etc. And there is a separate section if you have furniture to donate. You need to unload all of your own stuff and only during their open hours. All those guidelines make great sense and keep things organized. Happy to see things get a second life and a good cause gets much needed resources.

This was my first time shopping at Care and Share and I had a great experience! The stores were very clean and organized. The items were in good condition and the staff was friendly. I was shopping mostly for children’s items and loved how they had whole stores dedicated to individual categories (books, clothing, furniture etc.) There was plenty of aisle space and lots to choose from! I found loads of children’s books that were on our wishlist as well as an awesome set of Lincoln Logs and Kapla blocks. My only gripe about Care and Share is that there are NO bathrooms. I’ve never been to a store where there were no bathrooms and of course, we needed one several times. I had my two toddlers with me and I am 8 months pregnant. Needless to say we all needed the bathroom a few times and had to go to the neighboring wawa. Even so, we will just have to be more prepared next time because I definitely intend to return! Lots of treasures to be found!

Very disappointed..finally found a desk at Care and Share. Quite heavy, too much for myself and my husband t o handle as senior citizens. Inquired with young man working furniture about possible delivery. No they do not deliver. Asked if they had any contacts to contract with for delivery. He was obviously annoyed that I was bothering him. Suggested College Hunks hauling junk. Called and found out They are a minimum 3 hour service at $130 per hour. Asked if I could pay for the item and pick it up next week. Told they could only hold it three days.What are people who do not have the physical strength to retrieve a piece of furniture supposed to do? At least try and work with us.

Great selection , new merchandise added daily. Most items priced fairly, especially considering there are special sales all the time plus 50% off on the 3rd Friday of each month! Love shopping here, my home is filled with cute rustic decor from C & S, not to mention a lovely hutch I got for $30 on half price day, which I sanded and painted and which looks stunning! Love that the proceeds go to such a worthy charity ❤️

I used to adore this place and found many wonderful items. Then, a couple years ago, there were significant and disappointing, yet hard to pinpoint changes. One very noticeable one was the extreme narrowing of what kind of books they stock in the bookstore. I used to love to find old titles from my youth, or really unusual subjects or even new age type books-basically positive thinking books. Then there was a major overhaul in the bookstore and suddenly all those unusual and multi points of view books were gone. It became very much a strict Christian book store, with very few variations. I really miss the variety and found it intolerant of them to no longer stock such a wonderful varied selection of titles. I stopped even visiting the bookstore. :( There were other changes in the other stores that I also found disappointing and eventually it made it not worth the trip out there. I hope they someday open themselves again to a greater tolerance level and keep their prices lower and consistent with today's world where many just are getting by. I'll try to visit once a year and see if things become more welcoming and kind to other belief systems. Thanks for reading and good luck!

I love shopping here! Everything is always so neat, and I've never had a bad experience. I do find that the regular prices are a tad high ($3.99 for tops/pants), but I try to keep in mind that this store gives a lot of its profit to charities that help others, so I don't mind. If you shop on the Big Sale days, everything is 50% off, which is great! I usually always find something, and I feel like I'm doing a good thing when I make a purchase. Keep up the good work!

There are some truly amazing things about this thrift store. I love their outlet store. Great deals if you like to dig (and I do!) The rest of the stores are higher priced than most other thrift stores, but they have half price colored tags each week, 75% off certain colors on Saturdays, and one Friday a month everything is half priced, so there are great deals to be had and you have to remember the money you spend goes to a good cause. The volunteers that receive donations have been so condescending and out right nasty to me that I don't donate there anymore, but I still shop on occasion.

This store is much more organized than most thrift shops. All clothes are displayed by size and color. And there are no clothes on the racks that are torn or stained or in need of repair. I do all my shopping for the family here as I have for the last 30 yrs. and now am a volunteer as well...

Prices on clothing is excellent as is the quality of what is offered. Ladies and children clothes have the largest selection. Designer clothing is appropriately priced and is 80 to 90 percent off original. I bought a designer pair of mens slacks with the original price tag still in tact at $120.00 my price was $15.00. Great place to shop, exceptionally clean.

I love going here to look for sweet finds. I live about an hour away but will make the drive just for the stores sometimes. I enjoy how many there are and ever-changing inventory. The only thing that saddens me is that the hours end so soon in the day. I once drove up and arrived just as everything closed down, yes my fault for not looking the hours up, but most things tend to be open later in the day. Either way, thanks for being around, and thanks for the affordable prices and good finds.

Awesome thrift stores. The Mennonites have it going! I am returning with more money in my pocket. I got a bread box (exactly what I was looking for) and a lovely lamp. Perfect! Besides working for a great cause, the products offered are in nice shape and I saw some new items as well. The staff is friendly and helpful. Just an aside: bring shopping bags. You will need them.

I do shop in your store and have found great items. Like others, I think items are sometimes a little high. Goodwill and Impact are drastically cheaper. However, you do have the half off special. Also, with employees who are volunteers, would it be possible to be open on Sunday from 12 to 5?? Keep in mind the proceeds do go towards people in need and this could be another reason for the prices being a little higher than other stores.

All of the volunteers are so friendly, and they are super patient with my wild toddlers! First time going a few weeks ago and i loved it. The prices are alright and the quality of the merchandise is good and there is a varied selection. The first and i think cheapest store was having its roof patched so the smell in the store was awful and a little off putting so i didn't spend much time in there. A few people in the reviews complained about high prices but i think they were pretty reasonable for the quality of the stuff. I've seen many other thrift stores that were way higher with items that were broken and junk quality. I like the layout of the stores and how you can go from one to the other right down the line. Next time im going without my kids so i can spend more time looking.

Perhaps the largest thrift store I’ve ever visited. It’s most of a small shopping center, with different stores having different item focus. The northernmost store is furniture and appliances. Middle is clothing, followed by books and media, then variety. The last store, “Thrift Outlet”, is not for the faint of heart. Items there are sold by weight. This location and others with the same brand benefit the work of the Mennonite Central Committee, an umbrella organization of the largest Anabaptist Christian denomination in the United States.

Today was $5 bag day. I was able to pick up 16 bags of clothing for $80 who sings in the Philippines for those livingg in poverty. Staff and volunteers at Care and Share are wonderful and were very helpful. May God bless them all! Experience was great!!

Varied stock, value priced. 4 color coded price tags - one color 50% off each week , 75 % on saturday. 3rd Friday each month entire store is 50 % off. The term store is a misnomer. They occupy almost all of the shopping center: furniture store, clothing store, book store, variety store for everything else and an outlet store where everything is sold by the pound. Run by The Mennonite Central Committee, they are closed Sundays.

One of the greatest things that Souderton has to offer is Care and Share Thrift Shoppes. I love everything about Care & Share: the layout (multiple types of shops in a strip mall) the selection (I always find something I like/find interesting) the location (on Rt 113, just off Rt 309) and (of course) the mission (benefiting the low-income families in our area!) I've read other reviews complaining about the pricing, so I'd like to dedicate a few lines to addressing that. First, every week they have a "half-off" color, so one could ALWAYS find something at a good price (and they sometimes even have a "75% off" color. Killer deal.) Secondly, they do what other thrift stores won't or can't do: they sift through the detritus, selecting only what will sell, and put it on the shelves at a fair price. There's nothing worse than going to a thrift store looking for something decent only to find the shelf space filled with old, ragged shoes and "Titanic" VHS tapes. In a nutshell, they do the digging for you! And for that, I am grateful. So, THANK YOU, Care and Share. You never disappoint.

I only go to the one on the far left (clearance thrift store) almost everything is $ 0.89 per pound so you basically pay about $0.50 for a shirt! the lighter the weight of the clothes, the more you get for your money...you have to dig through piles of linens and clothes, but I think it's well spent time and money ;)

You have the furniture store on the end (where the potty is) then the clothing store...up further is the books..then the nick nack (STUFF) store then the outlet on the end. They redid them all last year so the stores have a lot more room. half price every 3rd friday but it is CRAZY THOSE DAYS.
