Billy went above and beyond when I left something at the store. I called, and Billy handled everything so professionally I was honestly surprised! Definitely an employee with integrity, even though no one was watching he went above and beyond to help me out!

Ppl are really nice and helpful. Lots of stuff. I'm not from the area so idk the normal 2nd hand store price. I thought some of the prices were high comparing to what im used to at second hand stores. They have great sales tho. There's something for everyones budget. Everything in the store has a color ticket, that's priced, Every Sunday, 4 different colors are half off, then, the rest of the week 2 colors are half off. There's a recording that plays telling you what stickers are half off and to avoid confusion if an item is missing a sticker it can't be sold. The recording tells you the days items will be priced, an informs you that once an item is bought, there's no returns.. I definitely recommend checking anything electronic, to make sure it works, plus trying on any clothes before buying.

Southern Thrift is one of the best thrift stores I've ever been to. The selection of merchandise is amazing and the store is always clean and organized. They have excellent used clothing, shoes and housewares. The employees are always friendly and professional as well as eager to help. Some people complain about the prices being too high but with the store so well maintained I don't mind paying a little more. However, I've noticed in the last few months Southern Thrift's prices are now lower than the other thrift stores in the area.

Southern thrift has the cleanest best organized and friendliest staff of any thrift store in Nashville. I shop local and am always looking for the deals on different color tags for different days etc. This store has not only the best deals, the racks are always available with items that are not carelessly picked over and trashed like other stores" Music city Thrift" They stay on top of the uncaring customers tornado of tossing clothes . Thank you southern thrift for your new red tags of nice items . they look like brand new clothes at a great price almost like you went to Burlington factory outlet to get these red tags ? or maybe Kohls or Target or something? keep up the good work. Not to mention the beautiful view from up on the hill at metroplex...

Organized really well. They have always have a 50% off sale, but the tag has to be the color of the day. Pretty positive they dont change their tags like Goodwill does for sales. So that is a plus. They have a lot of everything. Womens clothes, mens, children, cookware, dishes, decor, jewelry, bedding sets, usually matching couch and love seat sets. Oh and they have a ton of really cool costumes right now that kids would love to play "dress up" with.

Nice store. Concerned about employee well-being though, given the loudness and abrasiveness of the radio being played. It made me anxious just for the few minutes I was in the store. Imagine being subjected to that for hours.

Not a bad store, for a thrift store. Huge selections of things that you were looking for and a lot of things you were not looking for.went in for 2 items and came out with a dozen or so. If you're looking for something unique, chances are you can find it here. Friendly and helpful service. They pack glassware well, prices are very good. If you can go on a Sunday, they add another 2 tag colors for half price items. From clothes glassware, jewelry, and bed frames they have it all....

Amazing clothing and opportunities for people in poverty to obtain clothing but im really concerned about the two-way mirrors in the dressing rooms? It’s very suspicious, and/or threatening.

New manager and employees since Covid started. Not nearly as helpful and friendly as the previous team. Well stocked, clean, organized. Always easy to find one or two treasures!

Well organized with a wide variety of items. Found some great deals, but what I like most is the employees, the cashier was such a sweet young lady. Awesome customer service. I'll definitely be back.

This store has a reasonable amount of variety, but many of the items are overpriced. I think there is a gremlin in the back room who marks up any brand name item. They had a few pieces of nice furniture, and my wife and I bought a pair of matching chairs which would have been quite expensive at regular retail. We paid 50% less than the store price due to a sale. With one exception the staff was not friendly today when were there.

Love this place. My favorite thrift store in Nashville. They always have a nice selection. I see new things in there every time I go & I go pretty often. Unlike goodwill, their pricing is based on quality, condition, and brand. Goodwill usually price, for example, all jeans the same, all dresses the same, regardless of the condition or brand. I prefer southern thrift. Period.

The store has a fairly big selection of all kinds of things. Many were overpriced though. Especially the clothing. I like that they have a specific maternity section. Had a 50% on a certain color sticker.

You can go downtown and spend 20dollars on a local shirt..or come here and spend 2bucks for the same shirt.there are several southern thrifts around town and they all give gd value...if you're eclectic...like me...youl love the randomness..and the prices..best day to come is Sunday..and be there at open at 11...four price colors go on sale every sunday.bring an open mind...it's like a box of chocolates...ya never know what you're gonna get...sorry..needless southern pun...lol
