This location is pretty well on par for Platos. From the many I have been in from AZ to TX this location is definitely on the small side and has an awkward layout. Racks tended to be over-stuffed, but I managed to find a couple of things and my daughter found some cool boots. Don't go here thinking you will spend hours, but it is worth a quick look

Okay, I’ve came this past weekend and today. Today I had Angelo & Striker help me almost immediately dropped what they were doing in order to attend me. I don’t know why people get so upset about their bags not being taken, Angelo made it clear how their inventory changes which I was unaware so thank you for being so informative (bc I know my clothes are in great condition lol). Striker checked me in immediately & noticed he was multitasking cause they’re so busy but appreciate the fast service. I don’t think people see how hard they work to keep everything in flow & I’ve noticed they all do their very best, so thank you for serving us ♥️🙏🏼

Excellent, first experience!! Manager and staff were very friendly. Definitely, were NOT rude, what so ever! Took one star off for having to wait 1 hour, BUT, had a cool experience selling my clothes, and backpacks, socks, custom jewelry, sweatshirts and t shirts. I see why they take a hour, some people bring they whole closet, lol Definitely, heads above, other clothing store, Buffalo Exchange, on main street downtown. Plus there is plenty of free parking!!! After going back Sunday, had a horrible experience, with a white girl named Ashley! After low balling my items, she said I had to buy back my new Nike shoes for 20$, even though I had not left the store and after she ONLY paid 6$, for my new Nike shoes! The gall of it all, I didn't even leave out of the store, why would I pay more for MY shoes, calling manager tomorrow! Wouldn't go on Sunday when she there!

Pretty good finds if ur selling go early they said lots of up to date things some designer bags mostly MK n dooney n burkies not to much ladies size 9-10 clothes lotta tiny sizes also shoe size 9 not alot either. But accessories were there..menz side was abundant tho

I love second hand clothing/thrift shopping in general. I prefer this location over the one in Henderson. The employees have always been nice to me and treated me with respect. My selling experience is definitely better here than at the Henderson one. They are kind of picky with what they buy but it’s worth giving it a shot if you’re trying to get some extra cash. Don’t expect too much for your items. I do feel like some items are over priced. But you can still find great deals!

Went for men's jeans and my bf found some great pairs. I browsed the women's and there was a lot of neat stuff but their pricing is getting pretty high that's the only downside. It's getting close to Buffalo exchange I feel like the prices should definitely be at least 10% lower than it is if not more. But the sales are good while they have them. This location was very nice. They have a rewards program which is good too.

I have had fantastic luck at Plato's Closet! I'm a young 45 y/o and find Many name brand tops, shirts and dresses with tags on! Great basic knee high boot selection. The women who work there are fantastically kind. I also love that it's small enough so I can get around easily. The store is extremely well organized. If you ever see me there, I will always help you decide if an outfit is the right set an color for you. I'm a natural Helper and it gives me joy. I'll be your Mom anytime. Sign up for the rewards program and bring your own bag for extra points. Specials weekly. Returns with full refund are within a week with tags on, not including shoes and I'm not sure about bras. Grab a friend who will be honest and descriptive and make an afternoon of it? Marie Callender's is nearby for a piece of pie to top off some serious fashion bargain hunting.

It's a cute little store I was pleasantly surprised. They say that they buy clothes too I sure hope they buy some of mine when I bring them in tomorrow. Well I did bring in some stuff man's shorts and a few summer tops and they bought them. Didn't get much for it , but I'm happy. Just an FYI they need more people to bring clothes in nothing dressy and nothing wintry.

All of the staff are wonderful and friendly. Unlike Goodwill, the clothes are in great condition and not any more expensive than Goodwill. Glad we stopped in a few months ago. Now we have shopped there several times. Bonus, they buy clothes vs just having whatever is donated. Also, check out their Instagram page as they post weekly outfits you can put on hold and any events/sales they have.

I'm a bigger guy. I wear a size 13 in shoes and a 36/38 waist and a XL/XXL shirt. I swing by here when I'm near my doctor's office to check out their inventory. I usually never leave empty handed. I grabbed a great jacket today that was at a decent price, compared to some that were near the name brand factory outlet prices, so you gotta hunt for the gems. I've gotten a few pairs of $120 shoes there for $18. I just wish they had a bit larger selection for bigger guys like me. Maybe some more options rather than just a couple small sections for the guys. There's a way larger floor print for the women, and the guys section is secluded.

I don't shop anywhere else. "It's because you're broke and can't afford new clothes" you might be thinking. And are correct! I am broke. I don't want to pay $50 for jeans. I like $12 jeans. Once I make money, I'll start reviewing designer clothes and what not, but for now I'm reviewing this store that sells Forever 21 clothes, two years out of style. I like this place because, after rummaging around for clothes that don't say "No coffee? No thanks!" or "Mondays are the Billy Baldwin of weekdays!" on them, I find a normal girl shirt or dress in a cute color. And while the hipster staff who make me feel like they are snap chatting me with lines like "tragic" written across my picture, I still like going.

This place is alright sometimes. I'll stop in every once in a while and occasionally get lucky and find something I really like. They're a bit picky on purchasing your used clothes though, which is somewhat surprising, especially when they reject 90% of what I bring in but then afterward while I'm browsing I often see many items of the same brand of what I offered but in far worse condition.

Have not sold here yet but I expect what hey give is low as is any other place that gives money for items. I did purchase and the customer service was great! Store was organized , prices were cheap. I Coach laptop sleeve for $30 is pretty great ! I gave a 4 star because there was a not so pleasant smell that it seemed they were trying to cover up.

My son's ages 14to20 years LOVE SHOPPING HERE! The staff is always FANTASTIC! And I love it because it's a fraction of the price as new and almost every time we find at least 1 item that looks un-worn or brand New! Plus RECYCLING is awesome, my son's feel they are doing there bit to help our planet and you gotta love kids having some values early on. Only complaint is the on the buy I get wildly different information. It depends on who is doing the buying that day. It's VERY frustrating to bring in an item that was Purchased from Plato's and they say they aren't buying that style now especially when it's only been purchased a few months back.

Just was there yesterday, it was my first time going there. I am happy to say that I left very satisfied. My boyfriend purchased some very cute camo jeans and I left with a very nice cardigan sweater, a nice vintage jean vest and some seem liked to had barely been worn Ugg boots. I’ve been to a lot of consignment shops in my day and I have to say this staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The attitudes that some of the people give them for passing on items is ridiculous. Just because they don’t buy your clothing doesn’t make them less knowledgeable about style. Personally, I think if you’re selling your clothes and you seem to be emotionally attached to them for whatever reason or price, then you probably don’t want to go here. It’s the name of the game, also keep in mind they are training people in these positions and they may make mistakes and take something they usually wouldn’t... but last time I checked it’s okay to make mistakes. Get your head out of your ass and step into reality because if you’re in this store, you should appreciate it for what it is. Much love! Only 4 stars because I believe some of the items are overpriced and the set up is somewhat confusing.

I don't understand the negative reviews saying that they offer you little to nothing for the clothing you bring in. What do you expect? They need to make a profit somehow. Usually clothing is under $10, accessories are a bit higher, but obviously totally affordable. Staff is very friendly and helpful too! Love this place.

Not a bad place to sell or buy from. They lowball but that is to be expected. Selling can get confusing as they sometimes don't even seem to know what they want. The reasons they give for the items they dont want are all over the place. However they do make an attempt to purchase at least some of your items, unlike other stores like this. I found a number of shirts and jackets in the store that I liked and all were very reasonably priced.

The young girl who helped us was nice but I think when you take your clothes its up to the discretion of the person. I took in some Toms and the girl said she wasnt interested, that they were looking for something more casual. But when I was on their Instagram they also had Toms for sale. The people were I had to wait 1hr which was fine I was in no rush.

Although I'm not a shopper at this place I still found the sales reps to be very nice and helpful. I tried to sell them a bunch of my clothes but as it turns out if they are new you can only sell them a couple items without having your receipts on hand. You can't bring in anything that has been altered or hemmed such as jeans. I found them to have way too many rules. Even the new shoes I ended up donating somewhere else because they wouldn't take them. I don't have the time to deal with selling them online & if I don't return them to where I got them in time I get stuck with a lot of shoes, clothes and misc products that are never used. I do have receipts which I organize once a year but geez what a pain.

It was quite a suprise when I stumbled upon this store while I was jsut doing a walk, which was random too. I was under the impression these stores were no longer around? I figured I'd peek inside for the nostalgia factor and wondered if it would look the same and I was thinking I'd take some pics to send my friends, But they ended up really suckin me in!? They did have a couple of what seemed to be quality, trendy pieces that i really wanted. There was one lady there working and she could have been more helpful, especially since I was the ONLY customer.

Had heard great things about Plato's Closet, finally decided to stop and take a look. I have to say for a 2nd hand store they had a great selection of clothing and shoes for being a smaller shop. Everything was greatly organized and clean. The only thing was that they have shirts from Walmart that are marked for the same or higher price then what they are listed at Walmart for(knowing this because I have the same shirts that I bought from Walmart). This just makes wonder if that could be the same for other articles of clothing if so I rather get brand new. Besides that one issue, I'd definitely recommend checking out Plato's Closest.

I absolutely love love love comming to this Plato's closet the staff is always so friendly and helpful. I I stop by at least once a week lol I always find good deals for a great price from Nike air Jordan's to kate spade hand bags you name it. I also always find nice maxi dresses for the summer and dresses for ladies night out. Oh yea don't forget to check out their VS PINK selection. They are up to date with all the latest fashion trends so don't feel bad if they don't buy some styles. If you are trying to sell I would suggest always give them a call first and ask what exactly they looking to buy so you are not too disappointed.

Ya jeeze what does she think second hand means they sell and buy new and gently used clothes. Goodwill sells heavily used clothes. Plato's closet has it going on great prices and cute stuff and the people who work there are always cool to chat with.

This store is ok their prices are a little to over priced, also the staff is always around following every move you make, I personally can't shop like that with sumone right over me while I'm browsing looking for stuff, it's irritating & annoying with an employee on my heels while I shop cause I will walk out the door without buying nothing..most of the time when u need help no employee is around but when your just browsing & dont need help they're always right on your rear end following u on every damn isle
