Its a good place for bargain its our first time coming with my 3 kids. The worker is super nice and helpful. You just need to be more patient in digging. No ac so hot but they got vending machine for cold drinks. Parking tends to be full all the time. We were lucky to get parking .

After speaking to a associate the Goodwill in Campbell Industrial it was revealed that Goodwill stores are for some reason not allowed to outright throw things away. What really happens is all of the stuff that is not sold is then sent to this store at a “last chance” sort of deal. From this place I’m not sure where it goes.
Upon walking in; it’s unlike any other Goodwill store I’ve been to on island. You do indeed have those big blue bins as you will find from looking at other’s photos, however what may not be apparent for new shoppers is that there will likely be shopping carts lining the the wall to your far right after walking in; that’s other peoples stuff who have probably been shopping since the store opened that morning due to the unique prices this Goodwill store provides.
The bins are wheeled into the main area for shoppers and wheeled out to be cleaned and sent back out with more stuff on a schedule.
There is a clothes area that is watched by associates located in the back right of the store, and in that area the setup is essentially the same with their iconic blue carts and mounds of clothes for you to sift through
One word of caution is that when a new cart of stuff if wheeled out in the main area you enter in from; the people who have been there for a while (likely the shoppers who have been filling their wagons) are like vultures. They almost swarm the new carts of stuff coming out to a point where it almost turns you off from checking it out.
One redeeming quality of the place other than the potential cons listed above is that the prices are great. You may not find a lot of things, but what you do find will for sure be cheap.

A pleasantly addictive habit for bargain hunters!
Dig for hours on end and find Hugo Boss, Armani and other incredible finds mixed among the mountains of Alfani and George from Walmart and other bargain basement store items.
I purchased a very nicely maintained Dyson for less than $9!
The staff are friendly and welcoming.
Be patient and learn the rules first. Most people are more than willing to help you out with the basics.

I LOVE Goodwill outlet!!! I have gotten so many good deals there, mostly household items and decorative stuff. Also lots of craft supplies, seasonal items and some high end clothes. It probably isn't the thrift store for everyone, you do have to deal with rude people, sharp tongued staff (at times), and their odd routine of running the outlet. But......there are great bargains to be found at more than reasonable prices!!! I've even found some high end items that I have resold.

The Goodwill Surplus store has a lot of items. The only thing is that the things are not organized at all. Everything is in large bins and you feel like a dumpster diver digging into the bins for treasures. The cashier was really nice though and I did find some good clothing at extremely reasonable prices.

2022: Wow, talk about a day and night upgrade on what this place used to be like. The renovation has made it clean and modern. (Though the selection at the now closed Kaimuki location still was mo’betta.) And still stay away from any newish items marked “salvage” etc from Target, as Target just donates (dumps) broken and dangerous items to GW and GW does not do any safety check. And now with Covid there is no return policy so you are stuck with taking it to the dump or leaving it out for the opala man.
2019: This is similar to most GW Surplus stores though a bit more run down. Very limited real deals other than clothes. Most other items are pretty damaged from mishandling or missing parts. Know before you go and you will be fine.

Oh my.. I just love this place!! Yes you have to dig through stuff. Yes it is not at all organized, yes it's dirty and hot. Yes it's a little ghetto, yes yes yes! Butttt the staff is very sweet and nice and you don't pay a cent for the stuff you can find. I've found so many amazing things here. I'm gona miss this place when we leave the Island. I can come here everyday!!!!!!

They unfortunately never really have a lot of stuff but you are able to buy it in bulk and get it at an extremely discounted rate.

Everything are in bins. Not organized or cleaned in anyway. They don't take your Hana Hou Rewards card. If you don't have time to go through bins after bins of unrelated objects you better off going to the Goodwill store. We spend about 30 minutes and found a Japanese ink painting book, a wiggle alphabet pull toy (almost new) and a pair of Otafuku sandals for a total of $3.80. Not bad. The pull toy alone was $8.00 brand new.

$1.25/garment. $1.99 shoes. Cheaper if you get 6 or more. You get the idea. DEALS. I have bought two large bins of stuff, less than $60! Usually one of the items itself is $60. Ok, get there :D

Don't check clothes but there appears to be a large assortment. Usually check housewares electronics. Store is kept neat. Items change daily.

Awesome goodwill location. This is my go to for goodwill donations. But parking sucks... good luck finding parking.

Tried my hand at the mad-dash bin deals!

Interesting experience. Can find some hidden deals if you're willing to dig.

Large variety wasn't too busy when I was there

I want my apartment to look like Goodwill and not like Macy's.
