Reviews of Habitat for Humanity-MidOhio ReStore Westerville Road
Ashley took my call today and was very helpful and friendly. They have great prices for people like me on a fixed income. If you are in need of furniture and waiting or having issues getting an appointment with a furniture bank then this is the place to go.
Just picked up 5 doors virtually new for a rehab for 120. Great place great cause and great people.
Interesting place to visit.. prices are lower and some things are slightly used.. I will go ✔️ it out every once in awhile if you're looking for kitchen cabinets or bathroom cabinets it's a great place to for some finish up products
The help from the staff was amazing!! I am so happy with my furniture ☺
Junk store best describes this store. There are some unique finds but for the most part just cast away odds and ends of furnishings. I saw a few new items that are unwrapped but question the amount they are asking. I think I will just stick to writing a check to support their cause.
The people here are always great to deal with and super helpful. Prices are a bit higher on some of the furniture than I'd expect, but for the most part things are reasonable. We love walking around and seeing what treasures we can find.
You can always find a good deal on anything needed for construction and house hold items. Free pallets in front. Found a huge box of toilet paper for a good price. 😆 …
We always get the great service when we're in there the guys help us out they know we do a lot of work for the homeless and build housing for homeless vet and we use everything we can from habitat for humanity to do our properties
Great place to find ideas! Everyone there was extremely helpful! Only downside was the credit card reader was not working, so had to go get cash.
I love this store! Quite often they have overstock and returns from Restoration Hardware. Every spring, they have tons of plants - mostly flowers. You just never know what treasure you will find.
Good place to find used and new construction materials at a fairly reasonable cost. However some products should be open to offer a lower price as it appears kinda junky.
Really great place with nice staff and great stuff
Seems like prices have been noticeably higher here the last six months. One item I looked at had been priced $1 on my last visit but now repriced $4. This was an item they had many of... Do they would think raising the price would make them sell faster? Anyway, doesn't seem to be the bargain place it once was. I like supporting Habitat, but I don't want to make an extra trip to a store that might have what I want, might not have, and then be expected to pay near full price and the not be able to return it if it doesn't work.
Was amazed at the selection but, didn't have the kitchen cabinets that worked. but, I'll be back
I expected items to be in better shape then they were. Most of the sinks should have been put in the trash. Prices were high for used bath tubs/shower stalls , hollow core doors, area rugs ( large but $300 ! ) there were about 8 used clothes dryers but over priced. . Kitchen cabinets good selection and the one set I looked at were in great shape and quality , price $1040. Would only stop in if I were in the area or looking for kitchen cabinets. Sorry Habitat for Humanity.
It wasn't as nice as it was years ago. I guess I didnt expect it to not have anything I needed. It was a different experience.
I really don't know they weren't open yet🤪😂😅🤣😉 …
It is exactly what I expected. The warehouse is run on a shoestring budget. Some of the items they sell are in excellent condition. Some need work. But if you don't mind the work there are really great items for not much money for your renovations.
Love, love, love, love this place! It is a thrift style place for home improvement, gardening, miscellaneous items..each time I have found useful items..at great prices.. I have also donated little used items there, knowing that money goes to a good cause.. a double win! ReStore has not only used items, but overstocks as well.. indoor and outdoor finds are there..
I went looking for some ceiling lights. I not find any but they had a lot of nice stuff. Unfortunately I didn't need any of it. It had been a while since my last visit. They've made many changes to the store and it looks very nice. I'll come back again to see if they get some of lights in.
This place was great for finding furnishings to get us settled into our new apartment. The folks are very helpful and it's easy to find what you like. This would be a first choice, if I needed to find more furniture.
If you get there at the right time for you. You will find some things you were needing or wanted for a good price. The staff is nice. The biggest plus is all proceeds go to Habitat for Humanity.
We were amazed at the selection of items for sale. They ranged from used goods to new. We found the prices to be very good. We also made a donation and found the process to be easy in addition the people that helped us were fantastic.
This place has something for everyone. It doesn't hurt to just go in and browse through the ever-changing stock. You never know what you might find. And it is a good cause to boot. President Carter, a truly selfless public servant, actually cares about the planet and its inhabitants. Please support him and his organization.
I shop at the Westerville Rd. Store often. The staff is so helpful and kind. They make refurbishing a home on a tight budget possible. Love this place!
It has a wide variety of items to choose from & the selection varies from day to day. Prices vary from great deals to not-so-great deals. It's worth a look if you know what you're looking for & profits benefit affordable housing!
I love this place. I like to live by the motto reduce, reuse, recycle... and restore makes it so easy to do those things. When in crafting or doing projects I like to come to restore first. They have tile, paint, knobs, you name it! Check it out.
Great place to find the "Hard to Find" stuff. Doors & door knobs, hinges, large & small springs (for what ever people use springs for, soooo many different size springs).
These are usually things left over from construction jobs. They won't be needed again, instead of having them sit around collecting dust, they get donated to Habitat for Humanity. Habitat re-sells the stuff for "cheap" & does great stuff in the community with the money.
If you are interested in the reuse /recycle movement this is the place to go! An everchanging variety of parts and supplies to improve your home. Donations from retail home improvment stores and the general public helps those that cannot afford high prices on used appliances, doors, windows, furniture.and supplies to install are all found here and so much more.
This is one of the better restores i have been to. I only deducted a star, cause i liked it a little better before they cleaned it up. Minimal pricing problems that i attribute to ignorance of youth... Millenials have a fairly warped and inconsistent ability to ascess the value of items normally carried... not sure this is the reason, but seems logical as the employee base got a lot younger. Sometimes it works out to your advantage, other times its, where did they come up with that number?
Prices are way to high but not as high as the one on Wilson rd. If I am going to pay 1100 for cabinets I'll just go to a better place. Who ever is pricing this stuff must have a drug habit. Because the stuff should not be that high. Its not just the cabinets even the ceiling fans etc 68 to 129 yea ill go to lowes or Menards.
Not great. Hard to find things and they don't offer the best deals. I think they forgot about the idea of helping low income Americans keep up with their homes, invasion to fund raising for their building projects. I was disappointed.
The store has really taken a turn in the past few years. It used to have a large selection of things at affordable prices. Not so much these days
I love Habitat Restores. If you are making a large purchase you should check here first. Often offering even new. Commercial property owners should note the often have NSF items, greese pits, NSF ventelation hoods etc.
This place is great got all my paints for my new house here light cover fixures & light blubs & lightin for my new house as well. If u have home repairs or projects checks this place out first. They have serveral locations in the city. From north side west side westerville & in delware as well.
Store is pretty disorganized. They have a lot of unusual and odd and ends of construction materials.
Great place to shop. Good deals on lot's of home furnishings, appliances, furniture - almost anything for the home - bargain basement prices!
Large store with a constantly changing stock of building materials, light fixtures, furniture, tools, and personal protective equipment. Never know what you will find here.
Can find odd items but need patient. Used to the price was much reasonable but right now I almost rather go straight to normal hardware stores for typical new items.
It's a good place to pick up new and used items fairly cheap atmospheres nice stores organized
Lots of odds and ends with a heavy turnover of items. Not quite as nice-looking as the other ReStore and somewhat dimly lit. Friendly staff and great prices!
Always an adventure, usually walk out with a bargain (like today).... Lol
Great merchandise New and old! The perfect place to go if you're looking to do some remodeling on a budget.
The Delaware restore has better deals, but if you are looking for a place to give construction stuff, they are it!
I always find something I need. The workers are wonderful also.
Great place to hunt for stuff for home maintenance, every now and then one can find awesome deals.
Not well organized, but good deals can be found.
Huge selection. Great prices! I got enough tiles to tile my bathroom wall for $70.
Love the Restore! Have been using this location for over 15 years. I donate and purchase often.
Used to be great resource. Now everything is overpriced. Can you say discount? They can't really say that anymore. Shame too.
Lots of flowers right now an got lots of other stuff in . Yes I will go back soon.
Great place to find new and used building supplies lots of good quality items on the cheap
If you just bought a house this is a fantastic place to come. Always come weekly they always have new shipments.
The warmth they gave me, took away my hurt. Missing my cat. l had to give her up cos of ashma.
Very organized. Lots of really good deals on quality items, not junk!
Tons of different things, changes frequently, prices can be pretty good, and the staff is friendly.
Great selection of items, pricing seemed a bit steep though.
Lots of treasures for the DIY person. Cool things like vintage doors and cabinets. Staff was friendly.
It was clean and they were very helpful
Great place for used household goods prices are a little high tho
Lower price on house materials/ items like microwave, dining set, bathrooms and bedroom appliance's/supplies and more.
I bough a drill there and some mattresses. They even sell video games which is amazing.
If you have a home improvement project you can go here and find deals on used stuff.
Rough presentation but a good place to find furniture and appliances for cheap.
Good place to buy used or some new items for your home or business.
Great place to find used or new building materials and home furnishings, etc.

This place, always friendly, great prices and biggest location here in town
Inventory changes daily. Good place to check out for used items.
Nice place but they're starting to overprice their items.
Freshly reorganized with a little bit of everything you want for great prices.
For them hard to find items they don't necessarily have at other home improvement stores
I go there often and get good deals.
Great place to start looking for materials if you're renovating.
There was a lot of different items available for a decent price as expected.
Donation center has pleasant workers. Store a little pricey.
Love this place. Been shopping there for many years.
Donations are down this year so not as much merchandise as in previous years.
A little messy but it's expected a lot of inventory.
Great organization. Supported by volunteers like I was & a worthy cause.
Excellent prices on new and used home fixtures.
Cheap place to find decent things to fix up the house
Great buys but inventory moves fast.
Great place to start when looking for home improvement items.
The people are not nice at all and if u get something and it don't work ur S,O,L they don't take nothing back i meet nothing

Very good prices. Always something new!
I can always find something I "need". Love finding hidden treasures.
Depending on the project at hand, at the very least worth a quick trip.
No going wrong when supporting charity. Plus you save a few bucks in the process
Well laid out. Good service.
