The store is VERY Large and well organized. It may take you two hours to go through it if you are just casually thrifting. The shoes are not the best collection. But the other items are great! The prices are extremely affordable and there are a few steals among the many many items!

It’s a very large store so you definitely need time to look. They keep it very stocked and constantly bring out new things. The racks are kind of hard to reach if you’re a shortie like me but other than that it’s a good place to find cheap clothes. They have color tags that are half off which is great.

This store was AMAZING! We unfortunately didn't have time to walk the whole thing because of how huge it was. But the women's selection was massive. Of course there were stains here and there, what do you expect, but all in all a great find. Unfortunately wasn't able to check out the men's section myself. But my Fiance said that he was extremely overwhelmed. So I think that's good.

I've been coming here since 2007 and it's still awesome. Now they've even bumped up their customer service!! Abbi was excellent on cashier. Manners, polite, and kind!!! You got a permanent customer here as long as the prices stay as lovely as they are and y'all keep up the great service. Remember a few things: 1) To always check for a tag or it's a no go 'till the next day when a manager can price it. 2) if your going for clothes wear easy to pull over clothes cause there is definitely not a changing room. Spent only $23 and got at least 7-8 pairs of pants/shorts. They always have 3 colors half off; and even better deals on holidays. 2 floors of stuff!!! Just bring your wallet, plenty of time to sort, and a form of transportation for you all the stuff you'll end up with!! Even stuff you didn't go in there for!

Large store with many random items. Can find some really good deals, but be prepared to spend time looking. The store areas without clothes is messy most times I go, but I know it's hard to keep up with everyone going through things. I can usually find some great name brand tops with original tags still on them.

Store is huge!! I would def keep that in mind when going so you can be sure to have time to comb through the entire store. So much to choose from & they are pretty size inclusive. I am a size XL or XXL and I was able to find many awesome items. Would def go back again! also extremely affordable!

I work construction so I don't want to pay new clothes prices for work clothes that are going to get ruined anyway, village has a good selection of used clothes for work or whatever you need. Lots of new stuff to choose from as well as used. Usually find a few blue rays at $1.00-3.00 for box sets. Every penny counts these days. Check them out next time you are in the area, just watch out for the street closures, summer time street repairs are underway. Welcome to Chicago!!

Many of the thrift stores in the Logan Square/Wicker Park area are super expensive which defeats the purpose of trying to snag a rare find for cheap. This place is not like that. It still gets picked over by hype beasts and hipsters so don’t expect to find something cool on every visit. Great place to find fits for costumes or theme parties. It should be noted that there are no fitting rooms. That’s why it doesn’t get a 5 Star. Protip: if you really need to try something on, go upstairs in the back corner and no one will see you or bother you.

As an avid thrifter, I found this place exciting and wildly overwhelming. It's one of those places where you can smell the treasure, but you know it may take you a few hours of digging--REAL digging--to find the gold. • Two floors of mens and womens clothing • The 1/2 off sales are not to be missed • They also sell jewelry, furniture, home decor, glassware, children clothes, etc. Would easily drive the 2.5 hrs from Peoria just to shop here. Not to mention there's a wickedly good ramen shop named Wasabi that's a block up the street.

The women selection is 5 stars. The men selection is 2 stars. The accessories are pretty cool. Great amount of video games and movies. Lots of cool furniture pieces. The prices are decent. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Also if the item does not have a tag you will have to wait until they price it the next day.

So much cool stuff to look at here! You can spend hours here and still not look at everything. The prices are fair and not up-charged like other resale shops. The employees work to keep it very organized and neat which is much appreciated! Overall a fun place :)

I like the chain of Village Thrift Stores. Generally, prices are good, clothes price could be a bit cheaper, but they have the 3-color half-price sale going on every week, so you can snag a few good deals. This location, parking is a challenge, so you many have to walk a bit to get back to the store. Overall, a decent thrift store to shop at.

I'm going to preface my review by saying that I really do like this store. But to be honest its a dirty thrift store (not necessarily a bad thing). The place is huge and I almost always find some sort of weird/interesting trinket. It's kind of a free for all and you will frequently find things just lying in the middle of an aisle. To me it's all part of the adventure of visiting a thrift store. It's great how the stock is changed out frequently. If you don't find something you like...just come back in 3 days. I'm giving this thrift store 3 stars because its dirty, crowded and unorganized. What do you expect though? :) Also! I'm factoring in how seriously nasty the bathroom is into my review. It's almost always clogged and overflowing with poop/pee.

I really like this thrift store every time I come to shop I always find some really cute nice items. The staff is really nice and helpful when assisting their customers even the manager is very polite and helpful. I think this is the best thrift store to shop at there is always a cart available to use when you're shopping.They have every thing neat and organized sometimes there is items on the floor or on top of other clothes, but there is a lot of isles to look through when finding different clothes items. I used to go to the thrift store on 74th and Racine but seeing how unorganized that one is, and how there is never a cart to use, the staff are rude and ghetto, the isles are nasty with clothes on the floor, stuff just thrown every where. It's bad the employees barely wants to help you, or gets mad when they do have to help you. The first day I can to this one on Milwaukee I really like it and started coming back every since.

The store is great for clothing and some great finds. It has decent service and a good amount of general stuff. The smell as as another reviewer mentioned was mostly fixed during the recent minor repairs that was just finished last month. It feels a bit cleaner and better than before.

This store still has too many clothes on the rack for it to be half off everything day. There were so many clothes on the racks that I could not even slide the clothes on them free enough. Racks too packed. They should have been giving a bag of clothes away free with a purchase. I've been to other thrift stores that are more updated and have more updated used clothing. This is a huge thrift store where it is possible to spend hours. It's not the most organized, but everything kind of has its place. The selection is mostly clothes, although there are some home goods. If you're a patient thrifter with a couple hours to spare, I'd recommend stopping in. Very, very reasonable prices!

This is a good place to get your shopping fix--sifting through the racks for hours for a good gem. Although some of their stuff is overpriced, Village Discount is better than most thrift stores in their selection and affordability. I recommend going their on their Discount Days when they have exceptional days.

The only thing wrong with this store the lack of employees interest they have rude attitude's don't wanna help you. Personally I love thrift shops and this one is huge great discounts daily and you find awesome things it has a men's section upstairs and furniture downstairs entire shoe section women's and children highly recommended ! Just remember if something is missing a price tag they won't sell it but they will be able to put a price by the next day they give u a paper with the information to pick up next day. Wish it was more simple to get a price on something !!!!!

This used to be my favorite hunting ground for old toys, clothes, books, and videotapes in the mid 2000s. Sadly it's mostly a shell of it's former self now. The out of towners really messed this place up good, it's hard to pick anything of worth anymore and it's a constant mess to sort through. Painful to see what my old favorite store became

I recommend to check their website to find 50% off everything. Those are the days when we visit to purchase used clothing for construction projects. Restroom is VERY nasty and small. Be sure to DEEP WASH all your purchased items. These things do not seem to be washed...

This is my favorite place to thrift in Chicago. The great clothes and other items you can find here are awesome. There is always unique stuff to find that nobody else will have and i have found tons of cute high waisted shorts (Levi's brand!) and adorable earrings that I wear ALL the time. I always bring friends to this one and it has become a regular spot to thrift for myself and my friends. I can spend hours here going through every article of clothing on every rack. I recently bought 5 dollar rainboots and 10 dollar birkenstocks here. What a steal! They were in great quality still. This location is convenient located right next to the Western blue line.

Everything u need you can find it at village discount outlet on Milwaukee Ave. they have great men jean brands from old navy to Levi's to Burberry. If u need to find a treasure you'll find it there I been going for two years to this location and I have not looked back ever since. Totally recommend it to anyone go see for yourself best thrift store ever and customer service is great there too.

This is the biggest thrift shop I've ever been to. Huge variety. I was about to get 4 pair of pants that normally retail for $108 each for $40. My only complaint is that things aren't sorted by size, they are sorted by color so you can be in there a really long time looking for something that fits.
