I used to come here more when they had sensible prices on their second hands. Some items had holes in them for sale. Do better pricewise shopping at Forman Mills and Burlington for never worn intimates. Shop here with 80 yr old Mom more of our outting. Overall if you find prices unreasonable put the item down.

Everyone who is crying how expensive this thrift store is has not been to many else in Chicago. I bought a pair of jeans for $11 to give you an idea of the money your paying here. And the sore is stocked to the brim with clothes with similar prices. Chicago is expensive so I don’t think it gets better than this. Would have hoped for better mens selections

One of the worse unique / savers we've been to just in terms of the amount of mess and disorganization everywhere. A lot of the items looked more used or dirtier than other thrift stores. Otherwise it was a classic savers.

first time visiting this thrift store. When I first walked in, frames are neatly displayed. I kept walking and I really did like that the place is very well organized. As I kept strolling some stuff did catch my attention as I look things are broken and OVERPRICED. i feel like the employees that price the items are not doing a good job a separating items that shouldnt make it to be displayed. example, I saw soo many outdated calendars still $5.99, i felt offended. I didnt buy anything walked empty handed.

We went to 5 thrift stores today - and of the 5 this had the best prices - still pretty high for place that gets Direct donations - we liked it because they are networked with the DC - Baltimore unique stores and we practically have a lifetime supply of discounts (we thrift a lot!) Hard goods are a hard pass - but my wife found a good amount of reasonably priced athleisure - video Games were more expensive than eBay - great thing about eBay is the return policy and customer guarantees. I find it hilarious that stores with 1/1000th the reach eBay, want to charge ebay prices but won’t back up their stuff. It gets 3-stars for price-gouging.

Wish there were fitting rooms so that you don't account something of the wrong size. Other than that, they have a good selection of home decor, kitchen stuff, and clothes shoes and accessories!

Quick lines and organized. Some items overpriced but they are still reasonable for a thrift shop. They used to have 3 colored tags discounted at different amounts but today was only 1, not sure if something new. I would suggest they ask customers to keep their children with them instead of running around or playing with the toys while they shop, especially during this pandemic.

I just moved into the area and from the reviews I was nervous about shopping here but I went anyway because I’m on a budget. The staff was genuinely friendly and the place was a little over stocked but it’s a thrift store and holiday season so of course a lot of people are donating. I bought a fur winter coat, a few accessories, some sweater, some plaid shirts, and some pants all for a lil over $100. My experience was fair and will be returning.

Love this place & have been going there since I was a kid - You can always count on good deals and items of good quality. I always recommend this place to anyone on a budget - Mondays are my favorite days as everything is half-off.

One of my favorite thrift stores in the U.S. The clothes are ACTUALLY organized by size. Only occasionally will there be an incorrect tag. The sales are great! If you can go on Mondays, it's 50% off! There's a Senior discount day as well.

A weird scent hovers inside. The mens clothing is standard and not much high end items. Staff has high turnover so cash register person awfully slow. Electronic section very disorderly. Child clothing has some good finds.. parking pretty bad on free parking lot. MONDAYS is discount day you will see a line to enter due to everyone fearing covid.

I first read the reviews of this store and expected a small thrift store. Then I walked in and my first impression was of a Salvation Army - the layout is very similar. But after browsing, I realized the merchandise and options were far superior. I found several pieces of art and picture frames for very cheap. I found multiple kitchen appliances and goods (mugs, pans, etc) for cheap. And I didn't buy any clothes this time, but the options were good!

Personnel was friendly & there was lots of everything in the store. An associate named Lisa patiently showed me several items in a showcase. The cashier was very cordial. Overall it was a wonderful outing for a rainy Saturday morning. I found a small (quarter sz), purple, wooden, six string guitar, that's actually playable...for $4.00. Such-a-deal...Such a place! I've shopped and visited several Unique Thrift Stores and this one is by far the most neatest with the best selection of items. Displays are also in order and easy to find in titled sections. No mixture of items, each shelf has its similar group of items. Although pricing is the highest and sometimes you can find an item cheaper in the a store, brand new. Workers do tend to hide away the sales price items. For example, if the 50% is on purples and blues then there will be nothing but green and yellow ticket colored. Yet the next day when its 50% off greens and yellows then there's nothing but purples and blues. They are sneaky but I still find good stuff for cheap. 5 STARS on neatness and selection variety. 3 STARS on pricing.

Out of all the Unique stores, this is the highest price. All the stores have different color tags..this is the only one that seems to swap out the sale tags..before the sale. The 5.99 pant anywhere else, will be $10.99 at this place. I did find an Amazon fire tablet..the early color model..for $19.99, which is a fair price.

This store is ultimately a hit or miss as far as your shopping experience is concerned. They have a very good selection, but that in itself can still be a bit pricey. As far as an opinion about that staff, they could use a lesson in professional etiquette. If they're not arguing about something completely unrelated to work, when called to open another lane to speed up the checkout process, they take their sweet time. Some days it's great, some days it's bad, at the end of the day, it's a hit or miss.

I enjoy Coming here But the other 2 up North are more in sync with their pricing this one on the South side always Jack up the price of the products that's my only problem with them They need to have a certain pricing guide for their items There is also no need for a supervisor she can't help you with anything So there is no point of asking her for assistance

I love shopping at uniques thrift stores there's so many gems you can find if you take your time. They have a great selection of Family Clothing toys shoes sheets and towels coats just anything you would probably need fake at you at Great low prices. Don't forget about half off Monday's.

Finest chain of thrift stores in Chicago. Go on Mondays and go early as possible. Everything is half off on Mondays. They have any kind of clothing you are looking for. Great selection of books. Nearly my entire wardrobe is from Unique. A+

I've been to this location a handful of times, if you go on Mondays I suggest having a lot of patience in the parking lot! If possible park on street and walk up to location or use public trans. It is very crowded and there are a lot of impatient drivers who love to honk and others who double park in this already small lot for such a busy shopping plaza. It also gets very crowded, meaning long lines at check out and the employees cannot keep the store organized. The older lady behind the "valuables counter" also has a bit of an attitude when delivering service. Any other day of the week it isn't as bad in terms of the crowds, parking, etc but prices are pretty high. Hence why half priced Mondays are a mad house!

Decent selection, but prices have increased recently - some items are a steal (especially on sale days), but many are just "meh" for the price, if not almost ridiculous for second hand. Half off Mondays produce the parking lot from hell! Still enjoy looking around in here, and have found quite a few gems for cheap!

I really don't understand the complaints I've lived in the area since I was about 6 The prices are pretty reasonable on things I find and the staff has always been super kind to me and helpful. Last I checked they weren't open due to pandemic but I'm stopping by today to see if a reopening has happened yet.

Unique is honestly one of the best thrift stores I've ever been to. Before I relied on Goodwill for my thrifting needs, but after the nearest location to me was shut down, it was put to a halt. My was searching around on the internet a couple years ago and found this store called Unique. We've been going there to do a majority of our clothes shopping ever since. The selection is great, and the store stays relatively clean and organized. You can also find a good amount of vintage music there too.

Found a lot of bargains here, but it's expensive for used stuff !! Update!!! They are no longer accepting returns or exchanges, except for clothes and / or shoes. Uptade !!! Socks ( new or used ) are not part of clothing! Did u know that 😳

Best clothes! and the best thing is that the things you find here no one else will have, you can put you own spin on your style and no one will find the same item. Its the perfect place to descover the person you are and find the best items. The service isnt the best and dont help much but they always have the best prices. and mondays EVERYTHING is the 50% off.
