Last Salvation Army thrift store located in Anchorage. High volume thrift store with items changing daily. Plenty of inventory turn over and the ability to find deals on a regular basis. Daily sales on select items including 50% off days. Bargain shoppers have opportunity to find unique items as well as the occasional “Diamond in the rough”.

Pleasantly surprised. Went in today not expecting much like last year...pre-covid.. it was bright open well laid out and cleaner than even the goodwill I was at earlier! Great turn around thanks...will be back

Wonderful C: they almost always have a nice deal for something useful for you or loved ones if you're willing to browse a bit, sometimes it can seem as a hit and miss though as their exclusive sales and discounts change daily, just remember to check their dry erase board usually posted on the front wall of the store to the right of the cashier department C: i didn't have to pop tags and only had two USD $ and i got 10 big books and a 100% cotton long sleeved shirt!! C: plus the staff their are usually very helpful and friendly C: to me businesses like this are way essential, at least for a community that actually tries to reduce, reuse and recycle ♻️ C: way to go salvation army and their many good-hearted soldiers C: i don't mind them being the SLASHERS!!!!... ...of PRICES!!!!!! C:

Id like to compliment two your employees, Ria and maria, for the excellent service they provided me today. Ria was very informative in assuring that I had the best access to all the pricing. Ms. Maria went above and beyond by greeting me warmly and making a special trip to let me use the restroom. There is a lot to be said about how happy a businesses employees are. Both gals seemed genuinely happy to be there and wouldn't hesitate to assist you whatever the request. Such a commitment to great customer service is to be commended. You can be sure that I will continue to not only donate my used goods but also do business with salvation army for years to come. My compliments on producing such a great variety of affordable items. The prices here can not be beat anywhere else in town, and that's from a professional bargain hunters. Sometimes I am forced into buying things I have no use for, simply because I can't afford NOT to buy. I look forward to the dimond store re opening as I am very fond of the staff there too. I donated things at the end of close yesterday and some of my own things I did not want included were accidentally mixed in. I went back to get them and I was told policy is that once it is donated it is theirs. She did try to help me find these items, she was irritated but helpful. I am still missing one item, super sad about because I had just bought it that day! I love resale!! Just disappointed with the policy because we are human and every one make mistakes sometimes. There must be wiggle room, or a case by case allowance...

I love this place and visit pretty much weekly. Granted, I kind of enjoy digging through piles of discounted dime-store junk and pawing past mom jeans and size 0 skinniest for that rare gem. I usually find it. Be it a 90's club music CD, a cheesy mug, a mini trampoline for my kids, a "vintage" 1980s tank dress, or a solid wood bookshelf, I always come home with something I didn't realize I needed so badly! ❤️

If you are a bargain hunter, you could spend all day here. The stuff is used, of course. Been here several times over the years, sometimes the selection is good, other times, not so much. Same goes for the cleanliness, sometimes it is clean, sometimes, not so much. Great place to donate all that stuff you never use.

The selection wasnt very big for my size this go around. But usually that's never the case. But I just love 2nd hand thrift stores. It's an opportunity to develope a different n unique style.

When we got home, we looked up what the same "brand name" items NEW would cost. We were shocked to see that these items new would have been over $700.00!
