I have caught greyhound here multiple times to take trips out to Pittsburgh. The service from Greyhound Bus Lines is average. The ticket prices are reasonable and drivers are overall friendly. With this particular station, sometimes the vending machines do not work and they will take your money. Also, I notice with some of the other greyhound stations, they serve breakfast. This particular one never does which is inconvenient. The bathrooms here are gross and some of the empty bathroom stalls have been locked on the inside due to inconsiderate and immature individuals. Sometimes in their bathrooms you may find tissue. Greyhound’s customer service line needs to improve on their communication and better customer service specifically during emergencies or delays. If a bus is canceled or delayed multiple times, sometimes they will not say anything and you have to pay $20 for a new ticket. A customer will not get their money back if something went wrong on the bus company’s end, but you will not be given that same grace when it comes to you.

Taking a Peter Pan bus out of the Philly Greyhound terminal. Station is in good cleanliness. Lots of people walking in and out. Some people masked, others not. Off to Baltimore.

This is located near China town and also just next to Jefferson Station. From the station, you need just cross 1 street!! I visited here midnight 1200am but was not dangerous. Because many many people we’re coming to take buses. The facility is not bad. But a little bit hard to understand where is the gate for bus I take. So sometimes the bus tend to be late, but I thought to come earlier.

Well, yesterday I tried to book a ticket online and after taking the required time to fill out the information, apon finishing, the screen popped up saying "sorry the system is down!!! That sucked however, today I went to the 10th and Filbert location and had no problem!! Just an inconvenience yesterday!!

My son is traveling back to school, but his bus is delayed 2 hours. The agent was very helpful, & explained that the time was an estimate, & the bus could potentially come earlier...So, we shpuld stay closeby. Philadelphia is a major travel hub; so, the Greyhound station should have a few options for passengers to get a bite to eat, especially if their travel is delayed. I guess the plus side is that Philly's Greyhound station is situated in the center of downtown. Close to shopping, eateries, & hotels of need be.

I had a pretty smooth ride down and even caught the same driver on the way back seven days later. It's mid Aug and I am able to wear shorts and not be too hot or too cold! On the way down I was sitting at the second seat away from the restroom and meh it was thereee but not thattt bad. On the way home I and others went to the back and had to go to the middle of the bus to escape the pungent smell of chemicals..but mostly urine and thats with the seat down and door closed. I understand busses have been way more packed as services like BoltBus are no longer available and busses are limiting the amount of rides they have ....I would just suggest a spray (lysol) attached to the wall or SOMETHING. Again over all a smooth ride at comfortable temps they have free wifi, and outlets to recharge your phone and from what I can see Greyhound is currently the cheaper ways to travel these days vs the past! Improvement.

Not very customer friendly atmosphere nor is the chairs very comfortable. Too many homeless people hang there. Could be a lot better for the money they charge. UP DATE: well I came here to meet my elderly friend because he didn't want to be by himself at 3am so I waited for his arrival at the Philly grayhound terminal, well I must say it has greatly improved they had more security guards and monitor who goes in and out I felt more safe than the last time. I'm so happy with the improvements. 👍🏾will be using their services more often.

Well it's pretty good. It's a really clean place and the staff is nice to people who are constantly coming through. And they have plenty of snacks and other food available at the little restaurant inside the Greyhound bus terminal it's there own personal little restaurant not fast food restaurant or anything like that.

Waiting for the renovations to be finished, and then I'll decide. Right now it's just too hard to navigate, and there are not enough working escalators where I need them. They are doing an admirable job at keeping it clean, even the restrooms, so I'll give it some appreciation, but right now it's a weird maze. Also a shout-out to the wonderful employees who can give easy to understand directions through the labyrinth, and who know instantly where every bus is at any time without having to check schedules.

Never a dull trip with Greyhound. My last trip from NYC to Philly took 4 hrs. Bus was an hour late to the terminal in NYC and driver was driving 20 under the limit the last hour or so of the trip. A 2 hour ride turned into a 4 almost 5 hr ride. Didn't get to Philly till 430am. Other than that I can't complain when it come to Greyhound. Cheap service and good drivers !

It's not a airport. But the lines are long sometimes. They don't have a big selection on chairs. But they do have China town right next door. So you have a chance to get some good food at a good price before you leave. They also have the China bus. To new York for cheap. Just know China bus does break down from time to time.

It says that tour ticket is available 2 hours before your departure and it is. But the station closes super early. You have to wait till your next destination to get your luggage tickets. I'm only giving it a 4 because the driver was very nice and a huge help. He helped me with my bags to my next terminal.I wish I remembered his name. But he was awesome. You guys need more drivers like him!

THANK YOU Wanted to change my rating I've used Greyhound many times I must say the place is not dirty as I said it before people are kind and the bus drivers for the most part are really nice. I only had one problem one bus driver and one bus both were on different occasions that's why I give Greyhound four stars instead of five, if their buses were a little cleaner and a little bit more up-to-date then they would get five stars I'm just being honest. Honestly this is just a side note I could have sued them because that seat was not on and I went to get up to go use the bathroom and hit my shin right against the under part of the seat it was like metal anyway I just rubbed It off but I did warn the bus driver and he seemed to be sincere and care about that. Just didn't want any kids or people getting hurt. You could see why I rated it 4 stars

I want to personally give an HUGE Thank You to the baggage Claim department and everyone associated with greyhound in retrieving my lost luggage .I recently lost it while i was traveling from Houston Texas back home to Philadelphia. But during my travel when i stop at Atlanta my luggage was not there . Fast forward i got back home to Philadelphia without my luggage I explain to everyone my situation and hope for the best. Well it took like 10 days later from the last time i saw it in Houston Texas but i received an call and VERY HAPPY to say everything was still in side . So kudos for everyone help 👊

My experience at the Greyhound bus station was quite pleasant. I booked a trip using their service with relative ease, showed up on time and was in and out on my way in record time. Will definitely be looking forward to using them for my travels again.

I arrived at this station early in the morning, before 9am, and was a bit disappointed by the lack of staff available. The bus company I wanted had no available customer service, but I did manage to order a ticket for the bus online. The building is fairly small but functional.

I like taking greyhound busses to travel, sometimes the facilities are not the best, but I don’t mind this one. It is alittle dirty but there are a lot of people coming and going. The staff was really nice and knowledgeable and helped me so much. Overall I had a pretty nice experience here.

Filthy, dangerous and strange. AND.... exactly how I like my depots. Almost as nice as the one on Mos Eisley. The 11:50 p.m. waiting room crowd is pretty entertaining, as is the house band. Although they kinda play the same song over and over. I unfortunately didn't need to use the restroom, but judging by the rest of the place, I'm sure they're equally as amazing.

This is one of the worst bus stations I have traveled through. There is absolutely no followed rules here. The bathrooms are run down with none functional sinks, stall doors that don't lock. The food being sold at the stand looks suspect. Homeless people relieving themselves. Not safe for children here

I felt secure there while waiting for my bus. 2 security guards were making sure everyone had bus tickets to wait inside the terminal. Their was a crazy woman screaming and security handled it professionally

My stomach always in knots when I go to board Greyhound because there always seems to be an issue. Wether it's not having a printed ticket when u ride but other times an E-ticket fine..to Greyhound having a driver pass away the morning of my trip and then reimbursing the wrong ticket on my round trip...it's like a 50/50 chance wether I'm going to have a smooth ride or not

Overall experience was okay. Some of the bus drivers appeared not very friendly. Some were very friendly. Makes a big difference on long rides. Some of the connections were clean and updated while others were not very clean and lacked proper maintenance, especially along the Ohio connections. They were the worst!

Horrible, your service clerk just rip me off. I gave him $40 for my ticket. He said I only gave him a $10 bill. Yet I gave him two $20 dollar bills. I told him he better pulled his camera and check it. Then all of a sudden he said don't worry about it I'm going to fix it. He had a $10 bill In his hand to give back to me. Cause that should have been my change. B-cuz the ticket was suppose to be $30. I gave him $40. He did a switcher roo on me so quick.1 I didn't see how he did it. So then he made my ticket for $10. So he pocket my other $30 from me. Stole from Peter Pan his employer. B-cuz I ran outside to tell my son. I'm going to catch t'm''"'he Peter Pan bus leaving at 4:00. Which would have been it about 15 minutes. I was outside less then 5 minutes. He was counting his money in drawer already. So why couldn't he offer to count it while I was there. So I walked up on him. I told him I didn't understand why he happened to my money. So he said don't worry about it he going to fix it. I'm thinking fix it how. He knew wht had happened. I didn't have time wait and speak to someone else. He never told me he made my ticket for $10. So I'm just out of my money. I don't if he did it intentionally or was it just a honest mistake. Either way I'm not happy about it. I 'm going thru a difficult time right now. I just had 2 major death in my family. Work is slow at my job. People just things to you at the wrong time of ur life. I wish some at Peter Pan could respond back to me.

This was some what of my first bad experience with grayhound trip was over priced buses where dirty had my leave time set and was cancelled had to wait 12 hours for next bus buses where dirty and poor cleaning of buses

Employees are very very friendly here & very helpful. If you’re confused or have any questions, they will help! It was a very nice change of pace since the employees in the other greyhound terminals were horrible. I’m giving 4 stars cause the bathroom was dirty and smelled like pee.

It's a good company but in the holidays they charge so much to bring you from one distination to another.. plus the t.v on the bus they dont provide thus service which they use too.. I think they should at least give us a luttle luxury because sitting in a bus 3 or 4 hours is boring g with out something to do ...Beside the phone ..And yeah the have extensions for the phone but there arent always on .. Depending in where you sit .. Happy Holidays lol

Bus is nice. It's usually on time, I dont experience delays. Its clean and the operators are friendly. Although one thing that makes me uncomfortable is the kind of people that hang around the bus station at night. So its probably better to travel within the day times if you can.

With Greyhound Bus Station you get to your destination safely, because they have really good highly skilled/trained bus drivers and their on point with the timming, if Greyhound says the ride will be a two (2) hour ride/trip, then that's exactly what it will be, if there's no complications. And also, I love it when the driver speaks to the passengers through the intercom system, that's professional also. So, I give Greyhound a three thumbs-up in these areas. 👍👍👍 Thank you Greyhound.

It's a bus station... In a major city... It was much cleaner than I was expecting, though. Greyhound gate agent was very friendly, too, which was a bit of a surprise. There are vending machines and a "restaurant" but you are also close to the Fashion District, Reading Terminal Market, and Chinatown so if you plan accordingly you could probably get something to eat somewhere else and cheaper.

I had to leave town immediately and do a welfare check on my brother who was in another city it had been a long time since I had ridden a bus I'm normally a trained person but when I got to the station it was quiet clean they had security they were very kind and courteous and to put the icing on the cake my bus ride there was so nice I came back the same evening and the second driver that brought me home made me feel like family she was as kind as kind could be so I don't think I'll be taking the train anytime soon I will be back at the bus station thank you all for your kind service

First time using Greyhound bus line ever, great service overall from NY to PA, but the employees in Philadelphia, PA are NOT VERY HELPFUL or knowledgeable about other ways to travel when the buses are cancelled/delayed for people who need to find other ways to their destinations. Asked a total of four employees and none of them knew anything about other travel options. First time here on my way to Berlin, NJ. via Mt. Laurel, NJ. and honestly I'm finding another way to Berlin, NJ next time.

Peter Pan Lines staff were very friendly. Greyhound could be friendlier in directing PP Customers to the correct counter. The Women's Bathroom was pretty bad and needs cleaning staff to attend to it more often.

Keeping the perspective that we're talking about a mid city Greyhound station...the place was pretty clean. The desk staff was slow to acknowledge but incredibly friendly and helpful when I spoke with them. There's a sort of line/floor manager: Patricia. She is efficient and succinct. She was never rude. I wish everyone in travel handled themselves and customers the way Patricia does. Thank you Patricia for a non crappy greyhound experience.

I have to say that this is one of the most improved places that I've visited over the last 20 year's. The facilities are no larger but someone understands how to better manage small spaces. They work very hard to keep the bathrooms clean and well stocked. The staff has improved their customer service. The driver on this last trip was a young lady who was a fantastic driver. She was on time and even early to some of the stops. I got home on time, no-one had to wait for me. A real blessing! The bus was a good one. The one the morning before never showed up. That's because it shut down and took a long time to fix or replace. This is about management. The fares have steadily increased over the years and that's understandable but the buses have not become better on this route. I now pay almost ten times the first fare. I should have a better bus. I travel to Stroudsburg regularly and I want a better bus! Please!

Spacious. At noon on a week day there was plenty of seating on long benches. I wasn't asked to show proof I was a passenger when I entered. Restroom was clean. There is a small snack shop. There a several monitor screens showing departure info. It is across the street from the stores at the huge Fashion District three floor Gallery. The SEPTA train station is also across the street. The Reading Terminal Market with hundreds of food vendors is a block away. The Convention Center is just past that.

Very Blah Blah Blah! The outside is a small street and a line of taxi cabs waiting out front on Filbert St. If the walls were painted like an Eggshell color or a nice tan, it wouldn't feel so gloomy. ☁️☹️

The staff were friendly and helpful. The facilities were clean. The only thing that stood out as very odd was the pigeon casually strolling around for awhile. It wasn't bothering anyone that I could see, so well mannered and possibly a return traveler.

What I like most are the different approaches used to serve customers in a fast paced atmosphere. Some you may only have one chance to leave with a pleasurable memory of their travel.

Its always fine during the day. But after a certain time of your not riding greyhound and your taking a new jersey transit ride the staff won't even allow you in the building to use the restrooms, claiming that they are the'greyhound' staion and are closed to everyone else.

The bathrooms here are extremely unsanitary. It smells in here due to the homeless coming in and out of there. As far as the service of Greyhound, it is okay. The bus left in a timely matter and the app makes it easier to purchase tickets and check-in. I never needed to pull my phone out to show a confirmation or ticket.

This bus station was the cleanest out of all of the stations I have gone to. In my opinion, this bus stop was one of the “proper” bus stops with a proper waiting area, gift shop, restaurant, and gates. This was also near the hotel I am staying at, so that was also a bonus. After reading the reviews, I was pretty worried about the trip I was taking on Greyhound. My first bus was about 10 minutes late and my second trip about 10 minutes early. The buses were clean, good temperature, and comfortable for my 2 hour ride from NYC to Philly and back. The staff could have been friendlier but if I was in their shoes I'd probably be the same. Definitely can't beat the price.

I've got to say, i was impressed by the New Buses they've got out now. But they still need to work on the spacing issue! If you're a big boy or gal, it's still a tight squeeze getting throw the aisles & getting in your seat lol. Got too & from my destinations safe & in one piece. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Customer service has improved. There is no parking. Don't expect one to pop up either. Just make sure your phone is charged so you can drop off or pick up on the run. The seats are very uncomfortable but I understand why they can't be made for comfort.... But my back!!!

Roomy rest rooms, good store and knowledgeable employees. Due to Covid 19 different shows there is a security agent at the front door. They won't let you inside unless you have a good reason to enter such as buy a ticket or wait for a bus etc

Spacious, food, lots of assistance. Announcements and schedule boards for NJ Transit; nothing for Greyhound. Be sure to ask for senior fares and ask fir casino stops if headed there. Police presence as well as people down in their luck.

This place offers seats for waiting passengers. The stuff is friendly and helped us after we missed our bus. The bus leaves in time. But don't be too late at your destination station. They sell more seats than they actually have. Which means if you are to late, there might be no space for you and you have to take the next bus (but no need to buy a new ticket)

In and out literally! An employee came to the locked door and let us through, and we walked directly to the loading dock. The Martz bus driver is extremely patient and polite. He had to wait on someone who had to be left back in to print off his ticket, as it wouldn't scan on his IPhone. Martz is the way to travel!

Came in and out of here on a day trip to philly. When leaving i already had my ticket printed so did not have to wait on the long kiosk lines. All in all fine experience. Not the cleanest place but I believe that to be a general theme of American bus stations.

It is very organized. However, everything in the vending machines or the concession area is expensive, so if you get hungry while waiting bring a snack from home, or check out the nearby fast food places.

The staff was pretty helpful to me ..Some of the kiosk was not working properly. The bus electrical charging port for cellphone does not work..I was a little disappointed by that. Other then that I reached my destination safely. Will I take this bus again maybe not.

The bus was okay, getting ticket with no bonus to Atlantic City was very upsetting, no one would correct mistake. Also make sure if you have to change plans having a ticket you may have to purchase a new one without getting a refund for your other ticket, this is just to let you know be prepared for anything with greyhound.

I had not in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for more than four years. Since the last time I used this Greyhound bus station, there have been a few changes, mainly because of the covid19/coronavirus situation. First, the fadt food place is closed. However, one can still use the bathroom. Still, it serves a purpose and is very convenient.

It's a bus station. Good security. As clean as you could expect a bus station to be, which is, well... It's a bus station. Some sketchy characters are always hanging around the entrance. Buses are as clean and punctual as you could expect Greyhound buses to be, which is decent.

Nearly ruined my trip back home to Pennsylvania during the hurricane week. Businesses need to be more considerate of the people they serve. Greyhound cancelled almost their trips out of Durham without any message to their customers who had bought tickets to travel. Fortunately, the one service they didn't cancel was they one I was scheduled to use.

I grab her u dont steal my phone. Go get a therapist. The greyhound station is several bus company. All wonderful. I chose peter pan cause im poverty. The food service was great prices. Yummy coffee. Never a dull moment with Greyhound! Really wish they would stop over overbooking their buses! It's crazy for them to ask you to arrive early and then run out of room. Me and my relative go to board and we're told it's full and we have to wait for the next one! Making everything we had plan to do at our destination either delayed or cancelled. Very upsetting despite the refund.

Took a greyhound bus from philly to New York city twice . It's a bus and we all know how they ride . No complaints about the ride the problem was the buses never left on time or were there on time for the ride back .When you have a 6 hour window to see what you want to see and your bus leaves 2 hours late you have to change your plans .you have to be back to the station to catch your bus back and you have to be there at the time on your ticket .you have to buy your round trip tick at the same time you cant wait and buy it later because every bus is sold out. If you have no plans on what to go see it isnt a problem . It sucked for us and I would recommend renting a car instead if you can handle a ton of traffic and pedestrians .

Gets its job done. There’s uncomfortable seating, dirty bathrooms, and dirty floors. Other than that, there’s stocked vending machines, a nice concessions stand with hot foods and all the employees are usually helpful and nice.

I mean you get what you pay for. That being said the place is filled with homeless people and smells like urine, but isn’t a deal breaker for me being from NYC. In my experience here buses are constantly delayed, but again for a $10-15 ticket, I can’t complain too much.

Better than most Greyhound stations but still a greyhound station. Also if you ever take a bus and have a layover in Fayetteville NC don't talk to anyone in my life I've seen like 4 people get jumped there while smoking and like 30 people get ripped off for drugs. I saw 2 kids buy a bag of pine needles for $30 then the dealer punched 1 kid in the face for trying to get his money back. The dealer then stood there and rolled and smoked a blunt of real weed in front of the kids. Even the vending machines will try to rip you off.

Used NJT out if 10th and Filbert (Greyhound bus station). Only way to get Tix. is to use one of two kiosks outside the bldg. Most of the time, ticket office is not open. Most of the Greyhound folks, just don't know any info. Tough place, tough area. Be careful. Sorry folks, honest and from the heart.

I went to the greyhou d bus station 2 satirdays in a row and I couldnt get any atlantic city casino busses coming back to Philadelphia for the same day and im very dissapointed because i made to different trips there and i couldnt get to atlantic city. They always should have casino buses running all day and for any casino you want to go to. So My friend and I had to leave the bus station and take another bus to broad ans snyder to get the 37 bus going to Harras casino.

Smooth process, I would recommend getting you ticket online and using eTicket... speeds things. There are monitors to tell you information about bus arrival and where to line up. Get there an hour if you can
