I travel a lot and I like small regional airports like that. Friendly staff no waiting lines, clean and functional. But rental Cars on special weekends must be booked in advance or you pay high for the rest they have on my arrival on a Thursday all normal ones sold out but one day late in catch one 😉 …

TRAVEL To: Locations out side of Mobile has been interesting. Fishing from bank has been slow ( small fish only) outer areas 300 mi radius. Golfing; in more youthful days (325 Drive) was enjoyable, golf tournaments coming up will be interesting. Muslim; sociaty, many places to attend Mobile.

I've used a lot of airports around the world. To be honest, Mobile Regional is inconveniently located, showing signs of age, and somewhat dirty. However, that is more than made up by airport staff whose friendliness, warmth and professionalism I'd put up against almost any airport I've used globally. I also love the mini-cafeteria sort of place with Hudson News, a small restaurant and a bar in the same store.

It was the worst experience ever. It was about 1 hr. for someone to come help. You had employees going to the back, probably going on break. When it was just 1 customer, my family member was standing in line. Just shut down the whole airport. Some employees are just too lazy.

I usually love Mobile regional airport. Today started well, with the TSA and food service staffs in good spirits and offering kind delightfulness but the gate agent at Delta was austere and severe and did not acknowledge me when I thanked her. I doubt this is MOB's fault, but it gave me pause and I hope the next trip will be friendly from Delta's on ground staff.

Went to pick a friend up and the plane was running behind so I parked in the parking lot. 15 minutes free. At 14 minutes, I attempted to leave! Not much in the way of how to get out! By the time I got to the gate, the girl told me I was 1 minute over! $1!!! Unreal! An hour is $1.

Visiting my daughter in Mobile, I fly in to this airport occasionally. It is always a painless experience. The TSA agents, ticket agents and gate agents are always friendly; offering authentic southern hospitality. I don’t ever remember this airport being crowded. It is a relaxed experience.

This is a rather small airport, but it is quite sufficient and more relaxed than the big ones. The staff, including the security detail were friendly and helpful. My luggage got stuck in Atlanta, and I got all the help possible by the Mobile staff, so full marks to them

Small local airport in Mobile, Alabama off of AIRPORT Blvd. Go Figure!! While picking up my daughter, the airpoet was not packed at all. No big crowds here so it's pretty stress free. I grew up here, but have never had to use the airport services. All in all seems to be a very comfortable airport.

Beautiful layout, amazing staff, clean airport with an easy walk from rental return to gate. ONLY REASON FOR LOW RATING...American Airlines had no staff app wouldnt generate boardong passes and kiosks did not work so we were stuck. Hey, I did get this beautiful sunrise shot.

Mobile Regional Airport was a pleasant experience. The employees were really nice and respectful. Because it's so spacious, I was able to keep my distance from others while I kept mask on. It's the first time I've travelled since the pandemic, and the hospital made me feel safe. Highly recommend.

Nice smaller airport. Nothing like Atlanta or Houston! Easy to find everything like the rental cars and your luggage. Ample parking if you drive to the airport. Pick up is a breeze. Signage for parking, entrance and exiting is great. (There's only one entrance and there's a stop light.)

Planes land here. I think they take off too. The rental car lot has been repainted, which is nice, as now one can tell where one is supposed to park their car, as opposed to just leaving it randomly placed in the general area.

This airport is one of the best. Easy Easy. Easy to park. Easy everything! The process for getting to your gate was so convenient and efficient—from ticketing counter through security. All that I encountered were so patient and helpful. The facility was clean throughout and the restrooms pristine. I have determined that the the convenience and hospitality at this airport is worth my return patronage.

Nice little airport with easy access in and out of Mobile. Staff was very friendly. Fairly quick to get through security as it’s not a busy airport (at least during weekdays). Consider grabbing breakfast or coffee before you get to the airport for departure though as there isn’t much once you’re inside.

Very small. Not a lot of choices if you need to eat. The staff are friendly and courteous. If you get stuck here on a long layover, the wait might not be that comfortable. Only problems I have are the flights I get on, whether coming or going, and aren't the fault of the airport's.

Had to carry on my luggage. Showed up an hr early for flight and got told that it was supposed to be checked before 12. As well as good luck getting on with a full size suitcase. Carried it to the gate and the flight attendants gladly let me on with no problems. I have been flying for 13 yrs and have never had this problem. Can someone tell me if this is normal mobile airport procedures or if the chick from united was just being rude. Edit: thanks for the response. I was super confused on why i was told." Its always been policy" when i was a hr and 15 early. It was confusing as i had never had this problem before. Think somebody just didnt have their coffee that morning .

On the smaller side. Well laid out and efficient. Can't check in until 5:30 AM. Definitely didn't need to arrive 2 hours early like some of the larger airports.

We used to drive to New Orleans from a 25 min to Mobile; never again! We generally travel to Puerto Rico and N.O. have fewer stops however, Mobile International is a breeze as far as parking (for a few weeks), checking in, and boarding. It's very pleasant, quick return home, and everything is literally at one's disposal. We rather pay a bit extra for flights and have an extra stop, in order to sleep extra and avoid that 2 plus hour drive.

The airport itself is okay. I have problems with the major rental companies including Hertz, Enterprise, and Avis. They have low inventory throughout the year and run out of cars very easily. Imagine arriving at the airport late for a business trip and just want to get to the hotel- they tell you there’s an hour wait because “they ran out of cars”. What is the point of making reservation then?

This is a small and manageable airport. It's also VERY clean! My flight landed so late that I couldn't tell if the shops or inside eateries are open, amid the reopening of AL during Covid-19.

Very small quick-serve airport. Awesome Customer Service. Easy get to gates and flight load-up! Rental car services within the building! Be sure to take a photo-OP with the 1959 Cadillac in the lobby!

Personally speaking walking into the airport once I got off was an experience in it's self. Beautiful, the workers were attentive, helpful and I enjoyed the walk around just the airport. I am disabled.

Flew out on a Tuesday at 6am and got to the airport at 4:30am and got through TSA with no delay and no issues by the screeners or any issues with the airline staff....why? I got there early..like a person who doesn't want to deal with craziness does. And I didn't cope an attitude with the people doing their jobs. The airport was clean, easy to navigate and organized. Its ONE TERMINAL for crying out loud so if you have problems...your fault pretty much 99% of the time.

Getting there was a struggle with the app but once I was there it was extremely easy to find the Global Entry enrollment center and the officer who interviewed me was extremely nice and even gave me easy directions to follow back home to Florida. The map apps were mapping me all over the place. Smh.

Nice little airport to fly out of. Staff very friendly and opened cafe early so the first flight could have coffee to take on the plane. I couldn't begin to say what a relief that was.

It's a fine airport. Rental cars are quick, close and easy. The security line is always small and quick. Flying through Atlanta can be a pain in the summers with weather delays, but overall a good airport.

Airports is nice but the Delta staff on Feb 4th (7am) very rude. So what i got to airport 2hrs before my flight. They dont know where I drove from. Both of them very rude and I am a weekly loyal Delta traveler.

The airport is nice and the security check is nowhere near as crazy as Pensacola or New Orleans. Only problem is getting there. You can add an additional 45 minutes to one hour travel to and from the airport because of traffic lights!

The airport is very small but super easy to navigate. Everyone is very friendly and willing to help. Possible improvements - Parking is usually a long walk to the airport and there is not an onsite restaurant.

Security is quick, and the airside bar sells huge draft beers for $5. Whatever the new airport management has been doing in the past year or two is working; fares have been A LOT better. It's still almost always more expensive than New Orleans, but usually it is either around the same price as, or cheaper than Pensacola and Gulfport. And usually, for a few bucks more than New Orleans, it's worth it to save time and money on gas/parking. I always prefer to fly from here if I can get a good enough fare.

MOB is a small airport that is clean and easy to navigate with very short TSA lines however I would like more food options past the TSA checkpoint, I also recommend that you save your funds as airfare can be expensive here, consider flying to Pensacola or Gulfport/Biloxi, their rates can be a tad cheaper.

It's a small airport so getting lost is unlikely. It's a clean place. Security is on point. I think it's a great little place.

Small and easy to navigate. A downside is No luggage carts...but a nice employee from United offered to come to my car and bring my box in for me! Another downside was the bar doesn't open until 10 or 12 on Sundays. We wanted a vacation Mamosa to start the trip for my husband's birthday but no luck.
