I wholeheartedly endorse getting a tattoo from this shop. This is my fully healed lion tattoo. Red inked my tattoo, and I was a walk-in. My first tattoo was fantastic, and I had numerous compliments on it from other people. Everyone there was so kind. I wish I could offer a rating of more than 5. Once my mother approves, I'll get another tattoo(s).

My appointment was at 8:45 I got there at 8:50 and was out by 10:30 only because of how packed it was , but let me tell you … the energy, the vibe, the location design and set up ALL AMAZINGGG!!!! The wait time was nothing because i was able to step outside smoke a blunt and come back in. I have over 13 tattoos and this location was the first place that verbally and visually made sure that I saw the needle being opened brand new, as well as receiving an INK patch for my tattoo. Now listen, being a girl from the Bronx, I’ve never gotten that bare minimum treatment from any other location and therefor I’m Definitely coming back. Thank you for making me feel safeeeee and well taken care of. AND I LOVE MY TATS !!! I came in for the $20 flash sale and got two little skulls. Thank you randy for guiding me into my first appointment , there will be more to come !! Thank you guys again 5/5 stars!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ oh and I love the sticker they gave me to take home, I always put stickers on my jumbo calendar so that was a personal plus for me !

Today I went to Red Ink for another tattoo and I’ve been here previously never regretted the decision to come get my tattoos there. The Red Ink Crew were friendly and tended to me quickly once I arrived. I have gotten two other pieces with them and I leave every time satisfied with the work. Their artists are creative and amazing definitely need to come see what they are about.

RedInk Tattoo Studio is an exceptional tattoo shop at what they do. I came to the shop late night on memorial day to get a Roman numerals birth/death date for my Uncle Architectural Historian Barry Lewis, but Also had the idea for a Mad Hatter melting clock in mind. After speaking with his staff and then presenting it to you Red we booked an appointment for the next day. It was a honor to have him do the work and share this special moment under his mastery of his passion and craft for tattooing. This experience is something I will remember all my life. Amazing, the artist that did my tattoo was super sweet , and patient. I absolutely love her line work. I forgot her name but she is the petite Brazilian girl. She made it so comfortable it was amazing. Let me not forget the guy at the front desk. Man that guy there in the front desk is the absolute reason I would return. Service is there , reasonably priced, cool vibes. If you’re hesitant just try them out, I’m one who is never pleased so for me to even write a positive review should tell you something… lol !

I had a blast at Red Ink. I went for the October 2022 Halloween Flash Event. I got two beautiful tattoos for close to nothing. Compared to the other places I've been, this place is incredible in terms of its pricing and environment. The place itself is cool but it's also incredibly hospitable and friendly. Serge is an absolute character who had me and the staff laughing, and because of that, I felt more comfortable in there. Damian was excellent too, telling me a wonderful story of how he became a tattoo artist. The whole experience was incredible. Highly recommend. I'm coming back next month.

The check-in process was clear. You have to scan a QR code and wait outside until they call you inside. The receptionist guy was kind of rude. He was very short and not very welcoming. But Gabriel, my artist, was great. We went during the flash sale and he did a great job at making sure I was comfortable and ready. Also his line work was perfect!

I have gotten 4 piercings and tattoos from here, one of which was by the owner, Red, himself. Every person that I have worked with has been great. Always accommodating and cool and makes me feel comfortable. The girl who pierced my cartilage yesterday had such a gentle touch, I barely felt it. I would highly recommend people to this shop. I love the atmosphere and feel of the shop! It's very very clean and friendly and open with natural lighting and cool colors on the walls! Not at all intimidating if you're nervous about tattoos. This is my first time getting pierced in a long time. Steven was so nice and patient throughout the whole experience, despite being nervous and indecisive. He really advised me on what looked best since I was a newbie. I ended up getting 4 piercings instead of 2 because of how good the service was! Overall, a great experience. The wait was short, the place was clean, and the service was immaculate. 10/10 recommend. Shoutout to Steven for being so amazing!

My mother came to visit for the weekend, and impulsively decided that she finally wanted her first tattoo. They were super fast at responding to my email and answering all our questions, and fit us in for a walk-in first thing the next day. I loved this place! I went for a bring your own flash event randomly. Everyone was really nice and helpful to someone who didn’t really have a plan on what they wanted. I've been here twice for their flash events (one for a tattoo and another for a septum piercing just yesterday) and they've always been super sweet. It may be a long wait depending on time but just keep in mind that they are a little bit overwhelmed with people!! I fell in love with everyone here immediately. I went in spontaneously after finding their monthly tattoo sale on TikTok and ended up getting 2 tattoos in one day at different times. They have a rewards program if you get 8 tattoos, you get one free i believe, I’m not sure but i checked off 4 today and think they will probably become my new tattoo place even though i live in queens. All the artists were cool, made you feel super comfortable, i got a bikini like tattoo and nothing was awkward. Highly recommend these guys from the people at the front desk to the artists, very welcoming and chill environment. 10/10 recommended ❤️

Edit- I went back to Red Ink for three more piercings last week, three months after my first piercing. I went on a Flash Deal day, but much earlier in the day (probably around three pm?) and the wait was very very short. I've recommended Red Ink multiple times to friends. Professional, clean, friendly, stellar all around! Shout out to Steven for being brilliant and one of a kind! He is consistently patient, friendly, and attentive, helping me breath through the pain and giving me a lollipop at the end. :D [Original review:] Fantastic. I got a lobe piercing on one of their "piercing deal" days. The wait was super long (over 2.5 hr) but to be expected because the deal is great. Steven gave me a freeh lobe piercing and it was great! I told him I was nervous because it's been a long time (15+ years) since my last piercing and he was friendly and patient and made it easy. I got my piercing about two months ago and it healed up great. I'm writing this review while waiting for two friends to get piercings at Red Ink and I can't wait to come back for more myself!

I can’t recommend Alejo enough. I came in for a same-day custom piece and he took my design and carefully spent time bringing it to the next level. It’s simply gorgeous. I am definitely going to be a returning customer. He also has perfect pressure when he’s tattooing. I have a lot of tattoos and some people are unnecessarily too heavy handed, but Alejo was a bit gentle. I absolutely can’t say enough good things. Went to the Halloween Tattoo event with my friends because the tattoos were a great deal, ended up getting a 35$ flash tattoo from Steven @ganjhytattoo on instagram, and he went above and beyond adding shading for free to the Snake flash i got. Literally would swear by him for life, and am making sure my friends come back because the linework came out amazing! More than happy with my tattoo and will be coming back soon.

My tattoo is now two weeks into healing and I am so pleased with how it turned out. I would get work done by any of the talented, versatile artists at Redink, but accredit Ryan with this one. I appreciated Ryan’s enthusiasm, deep focus, respect, and attention to detail throughout the whole experience, as well as Ryan’s periodic check-ins to ensure I was still comfortable. The tattoo took about 4 hours to complete. The shop itself is clean, has a down to earth vibe, and everyone there is so kind while still being professional. I recommend Redink Tattoo Studio to tattoo lovers of all styles, and will be returning as soon as I can myself for more stunning work like this masterful, one-of-a-kind piece of art (see photo)!!

I was pierced by Steven twice, one for a nose piercing and another for an ear-piercing. It was a wonderful experience and I would go back to him specifically for all my piercing needs! They were really wonderful when I asked to remove the nose piercing and get an ear piercing for my own personal preference and had nothing to do with the piercing or process itself. They were really respectful when I said I didn't want to talk about it and did what I needed efficiently and really personably! I recommend it highly!

I live a block away from Red Ink Tattoo and I saw one of their monthly flash sales going on, so I decided to book an appointment. It did not disappoint at all - this place runs extremely smoothly. From walking in it was about 15 minutes to get in front of the tattoo artist. Everyone at the shop is extremely friendly - the owner is super personable and called every customer by their first name, they all make you feel welcome and at home. Crystal tattooed me and she was friendly and did great work, she took her time and made sure everything looked perfect. Her guidance was so appreciated and it was probably the most pleasant time I've had getting a tattoo. I had to wait a while to get in for the tattoo, but that is definitely to be expected when coming to a flash event! It's a great opportunity to get a discounted piece, so lots of people take advantage, so just make sure you have some time to spare and patience with your artists who seem to be working hard to get everyone in, but don't want to rush the process which is so appreciated. I came as a walk-in last weekend, and I had a pretty good experience. The wait was kind of long, but that's understandable since I didn't have an appointment. Steven did my piercings, and he was really nice and knowledgeable. He answered all of my questions regarding the piercings (my first time getting ones in my cartilage, and he advised me on the best course of action to get my desired results. I appreciated how we decided on what piercing was best for me before paying, and it goes to show that they care about getting the client the best services. It was $120 for an industrial piercing, and $40 for each cartilage piercing. Everything was clean, and the needles were in the sterile packaging. I highly recommend coming here and requesting Steven to do your piercing if you want a great experience! You won't be disappointed, and this is a safer, better option for a piercing than cheaper, untrustworthy places that use piercing guns.

I had never gotten any piercings, not even baby lobes, and I was a bit nervous, but Steve did an amazing job reassuring me and made conversation to make me feel better. He gave great recommendations And did the process fairly quickly, and while it wasn’t painless it was manageable and didn’t last long. Couldn’t have asked for a better piercer. PSA if you go to a flash event it will be cheap, but you may have to wait a long time to be seen because there’s going to be a line, but they’d call you if you want to go somewhere else to kill time. Set-up an appointment, bring cash and fill out the form as soon as you get there to speed things up. I’m terrible with names, so if his name it’s not Steve, SORRY!. I’m talking about the Colombian guy. Also the admin in the front also gets a 10/10 for being hilarious. Going back in an about a month for more piercings and maybe a tattoo.

I highly recommend Redink! The owner and employees of Redink really are impressive and have true integrity. I went to Redink for a nose piercing. The gentleman who did it was fairly new. I didn't really know about nose piercings as far as size and shape. He showed me different studs. I chose a gold one not realizing it was very small. I loved it and followed their instructions to the T. I didn't have much swelling but the stone was embedded in my skin and it irritated it so I had to sadly take it out after a few days. I texted with them and asked for a refund for the service and they were great. They refunded me for just the service not the merchandise. I think the man who pierced my nose didn't realize how small the stud was and how thick my nose is. Life is a learning experience. Thank you again Redink for your thoughtfulness and integrity! I cannot speak highly enough about my experience with Redink. Spencer did a piece for me that I am head-over-heels in love with! He took his time drawing out a beautiful outline from some truly terrible sketches and pictures on my phone, then shaded the tat in ways that I could never have imagined. I had to leave in the middle of inking to go see a show, so Spencer wrapped me up and I came back 3.5 hours later and he finished it! The detail and emotion Spencer put into my tattoo was incredible and the next time I am in New York, I plan on seeing him again for another piece. One of the owners (I think Serge) came in and chatted with me and my friend while Spencer was working on me. He was super friendly and really added to the whole experience.

I spontaneously decided to get my nose pierced today (4/23). I called the store to inquire if appointments were required (which is preferred) and was able to make a same day appointment, 1 hour after my call. I arrived 15-20 minutes early, to check in and get the paperwork over with (thinking it’ll take some time), but it’s super easy since it’s online. I was seen promptly at my appointment by Simone. She showed me all the earring options and made recommendations. I was quite nervous and she walked me through the process and answered all my questions. Simone was very gentle and within seconds the nose earring I chose was in! She gently cleaned the piercing and the care instructions. I came to this place because of the many reviews. Walked in for my first tattoo, the shop is sanitary and clean. They are following safety guidelines, only the individual getting the service will be allowed inside and a mask is required. I also suggest securing cash of about $250, depending on your tattoo. I was warmly greeted by Luiza, filled out the consent form and waited for about 20 minutes in their cozy waiting area. She made sure I was comfortable and was thorough about the consultation and aftercare. She made different stencils for comparison and made adjustments accordingly to what I wanted. It was a fun and chill first time experience. It took about 30 minutes for two words. I am happy with the result! I recommend this place.

Somehow he was able to bring to light what I wanted. He walked me through each step and included me in the shading of the work to make sure it was exactly what I wanted. Came in here the other night on a whim because a different tattoo parlor cancelled on me with no explanation. Redink was the only place I could find that was open late, took walk-ins, and would let me bring a design. I’m so glad the other parlor cancelled! I got matched up with Luiza, who clearly understood my design immediately. She had great energy and her sketch perfectly captured what I wanted. I also really appreciated that they had private lounge rooms to work with the artist before going to the floor. She was super patient with all of my micro adjustments, and worked through the tattoo meticulously until it was done. I love the end result, it’s healing very well with no blowout and super sharp lines. Loved the vibe of the place, they were super nice and didn’t rush the process at all. I just recently received my tattoo done by Lexi! When I first got there, I had an appointment for 6pm, and I got there 20 minutes early. I ended up waiting for a very long time and my tattoo was officially being put on me at 7:20pm. I was kinda bummed I had to wait so long. Other than the wait, everything was great! Multiple employees came downstairs to check on everyone and see who was taken care of. They seemed to work hard to make sure everything in the shop was clean. Lexi was super helpful and friendly for the design I wanted. I got a spine tattoo done and it took a little over two hours. Her line work was super well, even gave me a little dum dum lollipop! I came there for a nose piercing and winded up getting a beautiful tat as well… a few days later my beautiful nose piercing came out.. I went back on a regular day because I live in Brooklyn and just coming from work .. so the piercing cost around 90 plus more for the jewelry when I first got it pierced .. so I’m thinking okay I spent a lot like almost 275 ( 2 piercings 1 tattoo) so I thought they would of just re pierced it… nope I had to repay it all over again and I wanted to cry considering how much I spent before.. but they said come on a flash sale and all that but I do not live in Manhattan I came there off a whim it would have cost me 130 just to re pierce both…. So my nose just didn’t get pierced.. but great people great artists and I would recommend if there’s a flash sale or if you have a lot of money to just spend… it’s pricey pricey..

I wasn't sure if they had availability for walkups for the event and used the "text us" function on their website and they got back to me immediately with an affirmative, so that was really nice. Once it was my turn, they got me in the chair with Mike and he made efficient, precise work of an excellent tat on my shoulder. The team was great even with the stress of lots of clients today. I'm really happy with this place and will definitely be back for more flash events and/or custom pieces as well.

Got a great tattoo with Spencer last night! He was super professional and kind, I would recommend him for any of your pieces, especially if you’re new to getting tattooed, getting a big piece for the first time, or just anxious because he was very calm and described everything he was doing as he did it. I can’t speak to anyone else in the shop but I did see others work and it was all excellent. I’ve had 5 tattoos now from different places and Spencer’s probably my favorite artist! Also, the place was well kept and clean, and the price was great for the quality of his work.

After texting the shop back and forth and trying to figure out what to do about my schedule, I finally had my very first tattoo yesterday. My idea was a little cliche, but it's the tat I wanted to memorialize my partner. My tattoo artist was Spencer. He patiently listened to my idea, helped me reach decisions on some of the details, drew up a great picture and gave me exactly the tattoo I wanted. I was worried about my ability to sit through it, but Spencer made it easy, and actually faster than I expected. I guess that's what happens when you're dealing with a pro. I had a great experience at the shop all around, and this tattoo is helping me cope with my grief. Third time is a charm! I am glad I went to Redink to have my ears pierced. I had them done twice before over the years but always had complications with them healing properly (likely a combo of those bad piercing guns and a metal allergy). I now have twelve tattoos, and three of them are from Spencer at Red Ink. The first one I got was small, and I got it as a walk-in customer. Even though it wasn't simple, Spencer treated the piece with care, consideration, and artistry. His demeanor and approach to tattooing puts the customer at the center of the experience (as opposed to some artists that prioritize their own vision), but doesn't shy away from providing helpful suggestions or questions about the design to make sure it's the perfect final product. I went back for another piece in October of last year, and again last week for a third. I'm in love with all of them, and can't wait to go back for more.

I cannot express my pleasure with going here into words. Every time I’ve been here, I’ve had such a comforting and wonderful experience. My first time was during a flash sale (the smaller three) and I got one done. (Ako did them) I was so satisfied that I came back later with my friend. The next flash sale and I waited to get this beautiful butterfly piece done with Mike and I absolutely will be coming back for more tattoos as I continue to cover my arm in adorable designs. I would highly recommend this place to anyone whether you’re a visitor or a local.

I went to get my nose pierced with Spence and instantly felt comfortable! He was professional and very personable. Spence made the actual piercing process very fast and more importantly was clean. I will certainly come back to get a tattoo by him- I had time to check his work out via book and it is beautiful. I absolutely LOVE Red Ink. I came here about a month or two ago for my first tattoo in almost 10 years and it was an amazing experience. The staff are nice, the atmosphere is beautiful, the studio is clean and you’re constantly checked up on by the staff to make sure you are okay while waiting to be seen. My first tattoo session was with Ledja and she was so kind and helped me relax before and during the tattoo. I have a generally low pain tolerance but I didn’t feel much of the tattoo while she was doing it. My second session I got two tattoo’s during their AMAZING flash sale by Ako who was just as professional and nice when tatting me. This is definitely my new go to tattoo shop and I’ll be coming back for A LOT more.

I popped in today to get my cartilage pierced and it was a wonderful experience. I got pierced by Spencer (who also does tattoos) and he did a great job. The shop was clean and everything he used was sterile and new. I also love that I got to choose which type of jewelry (studs or hoop). I went with the stud and I couldn’t be more happy. The process was quick and it was just a slight pinch. Spencer also provided me with aftercare instructions, you can tell he really cares about his clients and the quality of his work! I highly recommend him and this shop.

Amazing artwork & by far the best staff. I went to Red for a cover up and brought two people along with me, one of whom was getting his first tattoo. Sabrina did theirs and was incredibly kind and patient, making sure to review every detail of the design & placement for a nervous first timer. Red did mine and went WAY beyond my expectations, creating beautiful art where a simple design had once been. Spencer has also helped us out with problems from a previous piercing (gotten elsewhere but redone here), going above and beyond to make sure everything has been fine since then. All have gotten to know my foster kid and make him feel comfortable the handful of times we've come in. Since then he's been talking about wanting to be a piercing artist just like Spencer.

I had the spontaneous urge to get a tattoo the day before my birthday and it happened to be on a Sunday evening. I wasn't able to connect with any of my usual artists/shops due to the short notice. I wanted to find a shop that I could trust to deliver quality work on short notice; I have upwards of 16 tattoos, so I've become pretty particular over time. The reviews for Red Ink were consistently good and they were one of the few places still open on a Sunday night. I strolled in after 10pm with nothing but a rough sketch and some loose guidelines, and Spencer transformed them into something that was even greater than what I expected/imagined. He thoughtfully took his time with the design and even adopted some of the aesthetic of another tattoo I had after asking me what I thought of him doing so. I was comfortable during the entire process and we had some great talks while he was tattooing me. All in all--I would definitely recommend/return. Thanks again!
