I brought my daughter there for her septum piercing. All of the staff were absolutely wonderful. The place was very clean, great style, ..they even had activities and treats for kids in the waiting room! Prices are good too! We were in and out very quickly but weren't made to feel rushed in any way. I really can't say enough great things about this place and the people who work there. Highly recommend. :)

So I'm super late and meant to do this a while ago but I got my belly button pierced here Nov. 15th by Hazel and she was amazing! She was super kind, efficient, and quick! I was barely in any pain! She also patiently answered my numerous questions and informed me how to take care of it properly and to call or come in if I was having any trouble. It's been a little over a month and it's healing so well. Will only come here now for any other piercings!

While the desire for snakebite piercings has been long held by me, I ended up at this shop on a whim, and was greeted by the piercer Josh, and a few of the other staff who were all happy, smiling and super friendly. The studio was super clean and all the tools used were sterile, he also went through and thoroughly sanitized my mouth/the area being pierced. Josh also made the whole procedure super clear, walked me through each step and allowed me to adjust the marks to precisely where I wanted my snakebites to be. Being on a whim, when I got a little dizzy post face stabbing, he allowed me to sit and recollect myself including getting me a glucose tablet to help my body deal. Frankly I should have had lunch first haha. I went back a few short weeks later to prematurely switch out the starter studs - I was biting on them real bad, they were hooking on my teeth like nobody's business. I was reassured by him that it was too soon, but I did not heed, he stepped the size down a little bit and warned me to watch the healing on them carefully. But I tell you, I can eat and talk without hooking myself like a trout, and they are healing up nicely. He gave me the knowledge I needed to ensure that my face doesn't get messed up. Thank you so much man, I'm loving my latest body mod a lot. :-) So everyone, go get stabbed by this man.

Took my daughter here to have her septum pierced for her birthday. We were just a walk-in. I was impressed from the time we walked in until we left. A great atmosphere, clean and chill. We were welcomed as soon as we opened the door and the lady at the front that helped with payment and paperwork was great. I feel bad I didn’t catch the name of the piercer but he was fantastic! Went here today to get my nipples pierced and it was amazing! First off when you walk in everyone is automatically so friendly and very helpful. I was super nervous but the amazing ladies at the front desk told me I had nothing to be worried about and helped me pick out the perfect jewelry for me. Also I can’t say enough good things about Josh, the piercer, he is AMAZING!! Absolutely so professional and friendly he made sure to talk me through everything while still being able to make me laugh and not be so nervous! The process it’s self was super quick and painless! I took my daughter there for her birthday because she wanted her nose pierced. The staff was warm, smiling and friendly upon our entrance. The owner was there as well and he was very informative, willing to answer all of my questions and eased any nervousness my daughter was having. As far as clean and professional....let me tell you! Above and beyond! Everything was sanitized and he explained each step as he was doing it. So happy I brought my daughter here! I even had my son, who was sitting in the car, to come in so that he could take a look at his piercings in his ears. They had closed and he discussed and recommend concerning that as well. I am very impressed and am I'm bringing my son here to get his ears re-pierced whenever he is ready!!

Josh was super friendly and did a great job with my ears- no bleeding, no swelling, no pain, nothing but two good-looking piercings! The building was very clean and tidy. I visited this past summer to bring my granddaughter to speak with them regarding trouble she was having with a piercing she'd gotten from some place else. They looked at her ear and gave instructions on what we should do to make it better.....I was VERY impressed with how they handled her and later my daughter who went and got a nose piercing. She was very happy with the professionalism they exhibited in the piercing process as well as explaining after care. After learning of her experience, I worked up my nerve to get a nose piercing as well, and am very happy with the results! I love the fact that I was encouraged to call or stop by if I had any questions or problems. Temple Tattoo certainly seems to know their craft very well and the customer service is A-1!

Amazing. I can't even tell you how great it was. I feel bad because I forgot the name of the man who did my lip piercing, but he was SO good. He did three of us right in a row, and he was coaching us the whole time; it was impossible to feel nervous. The piercing itself barely hurt at all, and he was super professional, made sure we knew exactly what to expect when we got home, how to take care of it, etc. And he was funny and personable to boot. I would never recommend anywhere else but here now. A++ service.

Very friendly experience. They pride themselves in the ability to do tattoos other artists wouldn't do. They were able to accommodate a last minute palm tattoo when most other studios wouldn't. They also do body piercing in addition to tattoos. While you can place a $20 deposit by credit card, the actual work has to be paid in cash. All tattoos are guaranteed for life, so touch ups are free. Very clean and orderly studio.

We interacted with two different men in the shop and I’m terrible with names so I apologize for not remembering! The person at the desk who assisted us first was very nice and helpful. I got my nose piercing done elsewhere 6 months ago and it didn’t heal well and was really not the best job. Today Josh changed it from a stud to a hoop and gave me instructions that the previous piercer really never gave me about how to treat and heal the piercing. He explained everything to me including what he would’ve done differently and why I’ve had so much trouble with it. The change was painless despite the site having a lot of inflammation. I really wish I’d have just gone to Josh at Temple the first time around!!

For sure a hidden gem that has been in my back yard for years and I didn’t even know it. I went there yesterday to get a walk-in nose piercing. They were all very welcoming with no awkward moments. Josh is the man. Very enthusiastic about his work and really wants to know his customers. Wish I could have found this place sooner because I have had some tattoo work done in shops that just gave off weird vibes. Not this place though. All good vibes there. Can’t wait to go back and get some ink done next time.

I came in after I put the wrong type of piercing in my lip and could not get it out (my big mistake) and needed help getting it off because the ring was cutting my swollen lip. I had expected the piercing to end up having to be closed but their piercer was very quick and efficient. He was able to see me right away after preparing his station and quickly assessed my issue, he was informative and didn't beat around the bush. He was very quick and I was pleasantly surprised and very relieved when he was able to fix my problem. I only had to pay $15 for labor which I didn't care about, I just wanted the darn ring out. I would recommend them to anyone getting piercings and the artwork of the tattooists there is very quirky and high quality. They like to go out of their way to make you comfortable.

The experience I had was amazing. I had four people ahead of me, but he knew mine would be quicker. He went out of his way to ask the people if it was okay to let me go first since the piercings they wanted would take longer. He was very professional and explained the whole process. Had been researching area tattoo parlors for weeks trying to zero in on where to land for my custom tattoo in memory of my dad and grandparents as I had only one other experience getting a piece twenty years ago and as a older gal, baby boomer, I like to be sure when I’m doing something important. Decided to first try to support local Chesapeake business before automatically heading to Virginia Beach establishments. Luckily hit upon Temple Tattoo and Body Piercing this past Saturday and could not have been more thrilled with my experience. Was greeted upon entering welcoming space located in a Greenbrier business park by two guys who listened to my story as I showed them my custom design. They gave great feedback and suggestions from tweaking angle to location and I pulled the trigger. Eric was an amazing artist and extremely talented with his delivery and extremely thorough regarding aftercare. They stand behind their work and will freshening it up whenever it’s needed. Unbelievable in today’s world that you get such “AMAZING” treatment. No pressure up front and price was incredible. Check them out you will be glad you landed in their studio!

My best friend and I went in today for my 3rd tattoo and her 2nd. This was by far my best experience. Greg did an awesome job and made me feel important even though I was getting something small. Friendly most definitely, good atmosphere, but I got a Christina piercing (which was very painful to me) that turned out to be extremely off center. My suggestion is to other customers looking to get it done is to stand up to make sure it’s straight both angles because it looked straight laying down, but I didn’t think about that until afterwards. Just like tattoo stencils I always stencil people when they’re standing for accuracy of placement.

Alright... I know this review should be for the studio itself and all that good stuff but lets be sincere, we are no longer in the 60's and 70's where we were limited to the tattoo artists near naval bases and resort-cities boardwalks, tattoo parlors are a dime-a-dozen now a days and the differential is nothing more than the artist's skills ALONG with customer service. This will define your experience. Nothing more, nothing less. Asepsis is not what sets you apart. It's what you should have from the get-go. This place is very clean, nice atmosphere, accept credit cards, has plenty of parking spaces, etc... the works. Now let's talk about what sets it apart: The artist Colleen B.! Skilled and creative professional with a can-do-attitude that will make you follow her wherever she will be tattooing. She is not only a SUPERB artist but she is also someone that has the people skills that is nice to have when you spend several hours with someone that close. Temple Tattoo is a great place simply because of an artist like her.

Had Taylor do mine and my girlfriends pieces. Mine was all black and solid, but with lots of tight lining. Black is solid packed, lines are straight and smooth. Even with the heavy packed in blacks, he was very gentle. My girlfriend got a photo realism or a butterfly on a lily. The detail and color is incredible and really pops. We both couldn't be more pleased and will both be traveling back from Pittsburgh to get more work done in the future.
