My daughter and I got our ears pierced back in December. It's crazy how long you have to leave them in for before you can change them out. Nice part is you do not have to twist them all the time. You leave them alone! Employees were very nice and helpful! We had a great experience. Just be prepared to pay a small fortune going to a piercing studio. I had no idea what the cost would be compared to just going to the mall. It was however a much better and cleaner experience than going to the mall!

I received awesome help from employees picking out jewelry and styling my piercings. I got vertical stacks and two piercings on one ear to match the other. This was a very different experience from the old days at the mall with a piercing gun. The studio is clean, the jewelry and tools are sterile and the piercers are experienced and professional. Jennie, a visiting artist from the Denver studio, was amazing and took the time to explain everything, and gave me time to view and approve placement, etc. I never knew that my ears are shaped so differently! When I got home I was concerned about the placement of one piercing (knowing I will add one more close to it later this year) and she had me come right back and she re-sterilized and fixed it perfectly. I love how my piercings look and feel. Everyone I encountered at this studio was knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend IRIS and I will definitely return.

Making the appointment was easy & direct on their website. My piercer, Carlos, was so awesome & kind! He thoroughly explained everything about the process & he also made sure I was happy with the piercing location beforehand. Everyone at the shop was super friendly & helpful. The selection of jewelry was beautiful, too. I can’t stop staring at my new pieces!! I will definitely be back for any future piercings!

Had been wanting to get my nipples pierced for awhile and was nervous about choosing a good/ trust worthy place because I had heard too many horror stories. I found Iris looking through different piercing shops and decided to try them out. They made me feel very welcomed and comfortable in the process and Tyler who did my piercings was amazing. It has been about a month since I have had them done and have had no issues at all with and have been healing amazing. Will definitely go back and highly recommend, it is worth the price.

I had a great experience at Iris! Carlos was my piercer, he was professional and took the time to make sure the marks would be right where I wanted them! I got a double helix and two lobe piercings (one on either side) - the jewelry selection was so cute and there was a lot of variety! I had an idea of what I wanted going in because I checked out what pieces they had on their website and IG but it felt like they definitely had more in the shop (which was a nice surprise!) I’m a few weeks out now, my pain is very minimal! Everything looks really good, there hasn’t been much bleeding or even swelling. Another aspect I appreciate about being pierced at Iris is the follow up text messages! They’ll follow up with you and make sure everything is going alright. I didn’t have problems, but if I had it would have been super easy to reach out. If/when I decide on another piercing, I’m definitely going to Iris again!

Had my nose pierced and then pierced my forward helix and I LOVE Iris Piercing Studio!! I will not go anywhere else. Sam is the best. She is knowledgeable and patient and conservative. There was never any push to do or buy anything I did not want. Drew was helpful and knowledgeable as were the other staff whose names I do not know. The best. Don't go anywhere else.

Chelsie did my double nostril piercing & she was amazing! She explained her process & procedures so I always knew what was going on which meant a lot to me because I was nervous! She took her time with the placement and didn't rush me when it came to how I felt about the placement. Chelsie made my experience feel safe, effortless, & fun! The staff in the lobby Ryan & Kayla were also top tier with their friendly greeting & helping me with selecting jewelry! I will definitely return to Iris for any of my piercing needs!

My experience at Iris was absolutely great, 10/10 would recommend, even with accidentally showing up late due to booking my appointment in central time. They were all very welcoming and helped me pick out jewelry. My piercer Bailee was amazing and patient, she made sure to walk me through step by step during my appointment. Walked in about 15 minutes early for my appointment and was immediately greeted by the front of house, making sure I was taken care of. Being a bit early, I was shown around to all of my jewelry options for my piercing and even some of the options that could be custom ordered for me. I eventually had the pleasure of being pierced by Sam and could not have had a better experience. Would highly recommend anyone to this shop. Everyone I interacted with was absolutely pleasant and professional.

I recently got a botched septum piercing done, and I didn't know what to do or how to go around it. I decided I wanted a second opinion before making any changes. This is where Iris comes in. I was able to connect with them in less than 10 minutes, to which I sent in pictures (via text message) to gain a second opinion. The individual I communicated with was extremely helpful and even invited me to come into the studio the same day to get an in-person evaluation. I was helped the moment I walked into the studio, which was very professional, clean, and inviting. My piercing was inspected, and I was given great advice and options on what to do. I ultimately decided on removal. Bailey helped me out with that. She was very nice, answered every question I had, and was extremely efficient. I really appreciate the care and interest Iris took into my case and will definitely be returning for any future piercings! Great thanks to Bailey and the Iris team, you're running a great place!

Setting up an appointment was very easy to do online! I was greeted at the door by Ryan, he was very kind and helpful with the questions I had since it was my first time ever getting pierced. He was very knowledgeable and helped me with choosing my jewelry. Once we were ready, I met up with my piercer Carlos. He was great! Really made this experience easier: very professional and serious about my safety . He talked me through the piercing and let me go at my own pace. It was a quick and easy process. Both Ryan and Carlos gave me a lot of information about after care. I left really satisfied and happy with my gauges! I’ll definitely be coming back and referring other friends.

I got my breasts pierced by a beautiful human named Sam (Samantha, just to be clear) who was incredible! It was a 10 minute appointment that turned into an hour because she was so great! Not only did she pierce me quickly, and effortlessly, but she made SURE I was completely comfortable, and had no problem laughing at my dumb jokes! What a champ! Lol She was great, professional, and funny! I would recommend her for all of your piercing needs! I’ve had my ears, nose, breasts, and industrial all done there, and I won’t ever go anywhere else. Also, the entire store is clean, and all of the women, men, and people who work there are great! Thank you ALL, but especially Sam! ♥️

I showed up an hour early to my appointment because I though it was at 1pm instead of 2pm and they managed to fit me in early without giving me any grief. I’ve been pierced at IRIS a few times before and have always had a great experience. Today I took my 8 year old son in to have his ears pierced by Carlos. My son was extremely nervous but really wanted his ears pierced and Carlos was amazing with him! He was so kind and gentle and made sure my son knew everything he was doing before he did it AND made sure my son was ready before piercing him. Couldn’t have asked for a better first piercing experience for my son!! 10/10 recommend Carlos and IRIS :)

Drew was an absolute angel!!! They were so patient as I picked out all my pieces (I didn’t have an apt but they helped me for 30+ minutes anyways), were very informative and helped me decide on what pieces looked best together. They knew all the jewelry pricing, styles, ect by heart and even pulled a few pieces from the back that weren’t being displayed for me because they thought I’d like them. I ended up switching ALL my jewelry out at the store and the whole staff was so excited for me and hyped me up when they saw my ears all done up with the new stuff. I went in to have my daith done and accidentally had my septum done too! I was helped by Drew, who was absolutely delightful! Bailee was my piercer and she was so helpful in working with me to decrease my anxiety. My two piercings were pretty painless. I brought my 8-year-old daughter in two days later to have her earlobes done. My daughter was pierced by Samantha, who was SUPER patient with my highly sensitive kiddo. My appointment wasn’t until the following Friday. But I stopped in a couple days ahead just to look at the jewelry they had to prepare myself for what I would want the day of my scheduled appointment. When I walked in Tyler greeted me so kindly. I had a couple of different jewelry pieces in mind and Tyler helped me along my decision. He was the best. Tyler had let me know that there was availability to get me in right then and there. So I decided to get to done then. Bailee was the one who pierced my nose and she was fantastic. She walked me through the whole process step by step. The piercing itself was fast and easy. She had me take a deep breath in and a deep breath out. By the time I exhaled the job was done. I love my nose piercing so much, thanks to Bailee. i was going to get pierced by chelsie but she didn’t feel comfortable doing it so she asked her co worker Tyler if he felt more comfortable doing it and at first I wasn’t really wanting a guy piercer nothing against guys I just didn’t feel comfortable but Chelsie said he had way more experience then she does and he’s super kind so I let him pierce me and Chelsie stayed in the room with me so I felt more comfortable knowing she was right there and honestly it was the best experience of my life! Making sure my time there was safe with being sterile and making it easy to follow what was happening to the entire process. Sam also made sure I knew how healing would happen and that they would set a reminder for later to come in for a check up on the piercing as well as letting me know they were there to help with any situation that may arise . I got my earlobes and tragus pierced at IRIS a year ago — it was a big moment for me. I’m in my 30s and this is my first time getting my earlobes pierced? Unheard of. That experience went great, but I’m posting a review now because I reached out for help knowing what size post I needed to get the jewelry to fit right and coming in for an appt wasn’t an option for me. I came in to get my high nostrils pierced, and plan to come back for another piercing one day! I believe it was Tyler who pierced me and he made the process so comfortable. My one side of my nose was being a pain to get a post in but he took his time and made sure i was doing okay through the whole piercing process. Would tell me when it would pinch or have pressure and when the tool was being used. Made sure my jewelry was sterile and even helped me decide on what jewelry I wanted. He was hands down one of the best piercers I’ve seen and the most personable. Looking forward to more work by him!

First off the booking was so easy to use and it's very informative, it tells you everything you need to know before coming in, for aftercare, etc. It's a very clean gorgeous studio, I love seeing all the jewlery displayed as you walk in. The girl who helped us check in was super nice and knew tons about the jewlery. Tyler was our piercer and he was incredible, he was very precise and gentle and made sure we were comfortable for our whole visit. I will always recommend this studio, I've always had a wonderful experience when I visit.

This place is absolutley fantastic. Do note they only have extremely high quality jewelry here. Ive been in 3 times. Each time the people there have been extremely nice and helpful. I have bought 3 pieces from them and theyre all beautiful. Many of their pieces are unique. Something ive never seen before. One of the piercers helped me switch out my jewelry and they where very helpful, nice, gentle, and excellent at their job. Every person ive met there was just the greatest. This was my first time at Iris Piercing Studio and I cannot emphasize how great I was treated. I finally decided to get a nostril piercing and let me tell you how patient Chelsie was with me. I ended up getting a little white coral stud. I love it! Chelsie also walked me through the every step of the process which definitely put me at ease. They have answered all of my questions and concerns and they even send me a follow up check in text. I also liked the flexibility and availability in their schedule. I'll definitely be returning. Awesome place! The piercing was quick and the aftercare teaching was informative. Prices for gold jewelry are very steep due to god quality but titanium jewelry was affordable. My friend was feeling slightly faint after her piercing and was offered help and comfort from the staff. Overall great experience!

I went and had my nose pierced tonight at Iris and I was so impressed. I have had another piercing done here before as well and was very pleased with my experience then too. I have had my nose pierced twice before at another piercing studio and my visit with iris today was way better than I remembered it being elsewhere. Carlos was very thorough in explaining the process but also made it fun. For many people, a piercing is nerve racking so to anyone who is nervous, I highly recommend Carlos to give you a not only a great piercing but also ease your mind and give you something to laugh about.

I would like to make mention that this shop is great! They have a quite the selection of jewelry and an experienced staff! At my Visit I had Samantha do a reverse PA on me, I must say that throughout this obviously challenging piercing that she kept professional composure and got us both through this super Painful piercing! Cheers girl you rock! The piercing itself looks great its symmetrical and is healing great! The shop does offer to clean the peircings for free, I haven't taken advantage of that service because its healing well but I wouldn't hesitate to bring myself in if I had any questions!

Hi, I am very happy with the treatment I’ve received from the IRIS staff. From the assistant ( Kayla- Drew) to the piercer Samantha everyone was very nice, respectful and very professional. I had piercing done at different places before and not good experience ( will never go back ) , where here at IRIS was so simple and easy yet done proper and right and if I ever want more piercings I won’t go anywhere else anymore. Iris was amazing! I was able to book an appointment online and the process was super easy. I also had a very clear idea of what to expect. The piercing was for my daughter who got her first earlobe piercings, a highly anticipated event. They were super gentle and were thorough with explaining proper care of the pierced areas. Stopped in today to get my nostril pierced. Everyone working there was super nice & knowledgeable! I already had my right nostril pierced and went in to get the left side pierced (so a symmetrical nostril piercing). Carlos was my piercer and he did a phenomenal job! He was extremely meticulous when ensuring that my new nostril piercing was going to be symmetrical to my existing nostril piercing. I absolutely love the way it turned out. He was also super nice, chill, and made me feel super comfortable. I used to go to Koi, but will definitely be going to Iris from here on out!

I booked a nostril piercing online, which was very informative and easy to do. When I arrived, Chelsie greeted me and walked me through the entire process. She is beyond a professional! I explained that I work in a corporate environment and I will need something subtle....she was able to help me narrow my choices instantly and help me pick just the right jewelry. She will be a major asset to any company she chooses. Every step of the way, I knew what was happening and what to expect. Chelsie was very upfront about what was going to happen and very empathetic. I struggle A LOT with needles, and she put me at ease. It hurt, no doubt, but she was so fast that it was minimal and over quickly. Even when I felt faint afterward, she made sure I was okay before I left the shop. Overall, a stellar experience and I am so glad I chose Iris over another local studio. Very clean, very transparent and clear every step of the way. They use high-quality jewelry, which was a huge concern of mine due to past ear piercings not reacting well. I had a double helix piercing done (my first non earlobe piercing) and right from the booking process which was super easy, to them accommodating my request for a double piercing over the phone, to my welcome at Iris where I was helped by the sweetest person who took time to help me choose my jewelry, all of it was great. There was a little bit of a wait since weekends are busy but they sterilized my jewelry in that time. Bailee my piercer was the sweetest. She helped calm my nerves by talking me through the entire thing as well as helping me focus on my breathing. Even though it was painful I’m actually looking forward to going back for more piercings once this one has healed up a bit more.

Before, I had only purchased jewelry and gotten jewelry changes on existing piercings from IRIS because I had a sensitivity to nostril jewelry from a previous piercing. The staff at IRIS has always been incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. I came in for an ear styling (3-4 piercings) with only a vague idea of what I wanted. The staff was able to help me decide on piercings and jewelry placements and I’m so happy with the way this ear turned out. My piercer, Tyler, did all four piercings so fast and with very minimal discomfort. Taking their advice, cleaning with NeilMed saline and leaving piercings the hell alone, has made the first bit of healing a breeze. You most definitely get what you pay for here and I wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else!

Carlos was the person that was placing my nipples. He did amazingly the only pain was fron the pearcing it's self and that lasted only 6 seconds. He made sure I had time to prepare mentally for the needle and gave me time as I needed it. This procedure was fast and as painful as needed due to his speed and Position. He made sure to awnser any questions I had and gave me extra knowledge on how to take care of my new pearcing as well as what to look out for. I've been going to Iris for years now because Sam, Carlos, Bailee & Chelsie are some of the most skilled piercers I've ever had the good fortune to get pierced by. I've had work done by all 4 & they truly know their craft inside & out. Sam and Carlos did marvelous work with my paired low & high nostrils. They are symmetrical, level, even, and look just perfect on my very asymmetrical nose. I've also had below-the-belt work done at Iris and greatly appreciated the professionalism, skill, and respect I was given. Most importantly, the piercers at Iris have particularly good bedside manner. They set a very calm atmosphere prior to any work being performed & thoroughly explain the process before anything happens. Then, they gently talk/guide you through as the piercing is being performed. It sounds clinical, but they do it in such a friendly, welcoming manner that it feels just like catching up with a friend you haven't seen in a while. On the front end, Cristina & Chelsie are jewelry geniuses. They both have an amazing eye & extensive knowledge of designer's catalogs & how to find really unique and stunning pieces. They're incredible at recommending jewelry that will complement your look, stand out in your desired placement, and work within your budget. I don't know what my next piercing will be, but I know I'll definitely be getting it at Iris. My experience here was above and beyond, not only is it so welcoming but my piercing experience was the most comfortable I've had. Chelsie was my piercer and she did amazing, I was very nervous but any discomfort was what you would normally have for any kind of piercing and I had my nipples pierced so I was expecting it to be extremely painful. I also love how respectful they are also, even before checking the area to pierce, Chelsie asked for my permission if she can touch me to check (I've never had that before at other piercing places). The next day I was prepared for the aftermath tenderness but I haven't felt any discomfort and I am happy to say I will definitely be coming back!

You may think you could get the same piercing at Claire's for cheaper, but trust me - if you want it to heal well, and you want it done by an actual professional, I highly recommend IRIS. I got my nose pierced here and the employees up front were so helpful with helping me choose the right jewelry and when I told them I work at a hospital they took the time to help me find jewelry that would work the best with wearing a mask all day every day. Iris is a fantastic go-to for piercings! Their prices are a little bit higher than nearby studios, but I think it's worth it. Not only are their piercers highly qualified and their jewelry made of safe materials, but they go to great lengths to keep everything single-use and sanitary. I've known multiple people who went to Koi (nearby in Sugarhouse) whose piercings ended up wildly messed up due to poor practices. Iris is definitely the best choice I've found in the Salt Lake area. I've had my nostril and helix done here and plan on getting my septum done as soon as that's available. Coming from someone with 13 body piercings from 4 different studios, Iris definitely stands out in quality and care.

I came in for a navel piercing but after the anatomy check by all three piercers I was told it was not a good idea. I loved it because they explained to me why and it made a lot of sense. I instead got a daith and earlobe piercing and it looks amazing! I had a second earlobe piercing done back when I was 18 at Clair’s 🙃 I explained how I hated the spacing and wanted to try to fix how it looked. We did a third earlobe piercing on the ear and made it a cute cluster! My daith just looks awesome and is something I wanted for a while. I got pierced by Bailee. She is a piercer in training. She was supervised by an experienced piercer and the whole experience was so amazing. I felt confident in her skills and I’ll definitely go back to her! She was determined to still have me love my piercings even if I didn’t get what I originally wanted to. The studio is beautiful and clean and the staff is so knowledgeable and friendly. That makes getting pierced so much less scary 🥰 The jewelry is on the more expensive side but that is because they don’t sell cheap metals. That’s perfect for me because my body rejects piercings with cheap medals and infections aren’t fun. I know when I go in, no matter what I pick it will be great quality.

I was nervous for my piercing but for her it was an every day experience. 2. Please look into jewelry that can fit a larger variety of prices. I understand the quality is important and don't want that compromised. However, the cost was more than what I had hoped for. Otherwise, I'd recommend this studio and the piercer any day.

This place is absolutely the only place you should consider when looking into intentional body stabbings. Bailee has pierced both my nostrils (And to her disdain, I am a child and cannot refrain from getting my jewelry ripped out frequently) and she is always professional, calm and makes the whole process much smoother. The whole shop is like your grandmas house, even when you havent been in awhile, it always welcomes you back with open arms and loving nature. They pierce everyone from the elderly and decrepit to the youngins and treat everyone with respect and kindness. Due to my ignorance, Bailee will now get to fix my eyebrow piercing I let another studio do (and I know shes VERY excited about it) I could NOT recommend this place enough!

The front desk worker had the piercer come check my ear anatomy before checking me in to be sure I was able to have that piercing done. I got pierced about a year ago and I've never had a single problem with the piercing. I got a daith piercing and it healed fast and very well. I was a walk in and it took about 20mins of waiting after I picked my jewelry (which wasn't very long at all). When they took me back and explained everything and even talked about the cleaning process they do to everything before piercing me with it. The woman who pierced me was very sweet and gentle. She talked me through everything and gave me a warning right before she did anything. She made it very quick and about as painless as a cartilage piercing can get. I made sure to tip her well because she was truly amazing. I would give this place 5 stars, but their jewelry is a little expensive. You do pay for what you get though. My overall experience with getting my nose pierced was decent. They were very professional and nice, I felt very comfortable being there. The only problems were that it was EXTREMELY overpriced. I was shocked at how much it was. Also, it took a pretty long time to actually get my nose pierced. I was there for probably a little over half an hour but only 5 minutes of it was actually getting my nose prepped and pierced. I have gone to Iris for a while now, and had 3 different piercers do my piercings, one from the Colorado location, Shawn, as well as Dustin. I have loved every experience I have had with them, and was referred by a number of friends. Most of which Dustin also did their piercings. First of all the atmosphere is friends and very relaxed. Their jewelry selection isn't the biggest but I trust all their metal seeing how my skin is severely allergic to certain metals. Their procedures are all a little different depending on the piercer. Either way they're all good! It's simple, easy, and they go with your pace, they dont just fly through it, and they're always open to my hundreds of questions when getting a new piercing. Satisfied is an understatement when it comes to their service. They are incredible and would recommend anyone to go here! Plus their prices are really reasonable. Love this place, you gotta go here and experience it for yourself, good reviews don't do it enough Justice!

The only issue that I've ever experienced was I got my belly button pierced by a "traveling" piercer that was there for a short amount of time and it ended up being crooked. When you first walk in the woman who helped I wish I could remember her name but she had long black hair and bangs, she was very helpful and very kind. Have been here twice in the last week to get my 5 year olds ears done. The first time we were able to get one ear pierced but she ended up getting very upset about the pain. She said she was ready to get the other done today and sadly she was not ready. Maybe we will try again in a few months. I absolutely adored my experience at Iris. When I first walked in, I was blown away by how beautiful the studio is. Everything was very clean and modern. They had beautiful jewelry displays, all of which are a bit pricey, but high quality and well made. Iris also has such friendly and knowledgeable staff. Most places like this are full of elitist piercers who look down on you if you aren't completely modded like they are... all of the piercers at Iris were incredibly friendly and obviously love what they do. They were happy to answer any questions I had, and didn't once make me feel dumb or silly if I didn't understand something about the procedure. I got my tongue pierced by Jaymes, who was super funny and enthusiastic and did a lot to make me feel less nervous. He was quick, painless and even checked in a couple weeks after to make sure my piercing was healing nicely. It's small gestures like that that make you feel like you're really getting the "care" in "aftercare". I don't believe I'll ever go anywhere else for my future piercings.

Before I moved to Salt Lake City, I used to jump around piercing studios because I never had an experience that made me want to continue going to a particular place. Iris, through their awesome jewelry, great piercings, cleanliness, integrity, and best of all, memorable and fun experiences, has kept me coming back since my first piercing with them in 2010. Since then, I have gotten 13 piercings from them and every single time, I've had a great experience. Both Jaymes and Dustin are extremely talented at what they do. This is the only place that I've been to where I don't have a preference for who pierces me because I know I can trust both of them with any kind of piercing. They're great at putting me at ease when I get pierced, through conversation, jokes, etc., and quick and efficient with the actual piercing. They're also incredibly helpful when you have any kind of piercing/jewelry related questions/concerns. They'll clean your piercing for free if you stop in, which has been handy for me several times in the past when I've snagged an anchor or two. :) Additionally, their jewelry selection is great (and displayed so wonderfully!). All of it is high-quality and so, so beautiful - especially their gauges! I wish I had gauged ears so I could wear some of the incredible pieces they have. (Be warned that your jewelry wish list will basically become infinite. Every time I stop in, I see something new that I want that I hadn't noticed before.) For me, I enjoy the different looks of new piercings, but I'm all about the experience of getting pierced. It has to be refreshing and fun for me since it's the experience that I crave, not just a piercing, and Iris is just that. Every time I walk out of Iris, I feel better than I did going in and while part of that is the body high I get from a new piercing/jewelry, it's also the fact that everybody that works at Iris is so welcoming, talented, fun, and willing to help. He triple checked that I was happy with my location of piercing before proceeding and talked me through the entire process, which I find highly satisfactory. Heads up: Parking is pretty squished because it's a small location but don't let that stop you because Iris has GREAT service, staff and product. I came in for a midline-tongue piercing and the woman at the front desk gave me the rundown of what to expect and grabbed my license and info. It took about 30 minutes for the jewelry to sterilize and my piercer Samantha was totally professional. She let me know what she was doing and beforehand so I knew exactly what to expect during the piercing and afterwards, too. I arrived around 4:15 and left at about 5:00 so super fast in in-and-out service. The shop itself is soooooo pretty with modern wood paneling (not that it matters but hey, now you know), glass jewelry cases and earthy earrings. Highly reccomend!

I recently got my septum pierced. Carlos was very friendly, he explained everything he was going to do, step by step and he made my piercing, easy peasy. The front staff is also awesome! The shop is very clean, they sterilize everything and it's very neat and inviting. I'll certainly take the hour drive, for my next piercing.

On a boring Saturday night, I decided to get first facial piercing here. I walk in and the first thing I notice is how jaw dropping the showroom is; it's incredible. I only got about halfway through the displays before I'm called back. For a no-appointment-necessary deal, it was freakin' fast. The guy who did my piercing was awesome: explained the process, gave aftercare instructions, professional, and yet kept it laid back with some jokes. It's been two weeks since I've had my piercing and it's just as amazing as I wanted it to be. I will definitely be going back for more and I'm recommending this place left and right. Oh! And a bonus: I received a follow-up email asking how it was healing, if I had questions, etc. Love these guys.

I went here for my first piercing ever, and it was a great experience. Chelsie, a super cute girl, started helping me right away, She was friendly and kind. She gave me time to pick out jewelry, wasn’t being pushy or bothered with my indecisiveness, and seemed genuinely happy to be helping me out. When I finally picked out the stud I wanted, Chelsie hurried back to start the sterilization process of my needle and jewelry. I only had to wait about 10 mins wile she helped another person who got there before me. She kept me updated on when it was going to me my turn, and when it was she brought me back and walked me through the process. Chelsie was very knowledgeable in her profession and I trusted her completely. The piercing went by swiftly with no hiccups and my nose is doing great. I've had my navel, third lobes, and most recently my nostril pierced here. Chelsie pierced both my lobes and my nostril and my absolute favorite thing is how comfortable she makes you feel, and how she talks you through what she's doing instead of just doing it. I went alone on a whim to get my ears done, which obviously isn't a super intense piercing but is still new holes in your body! She made it comfortable to the point that it didn't matter at all that I didn't have a "buddy". Prices are comparable and competitive to other popular piercing studios and the extremely professional nature here is what keeps me coming back. I was asked in the beginning by one of the darling girls if I wanted titanium because I didn't want to spend money. I would avoid that sort of questioning but it didn't take away from my visit. (:

Very nice place and staff! Made my mom and I feel so comfortable. Only downside is the pricing. I called beforehand and was told that the piercing would cost around $70, but ended up leaving paying $160. Other than that, it was such a great experience! Would definitely go back!

I don't even know where or how to begin to say how fabulous Iris Piercing is. I have had myriad piercings performed here and the service is amazing. The piercers are all very experienced and know how to pierce *correctly* (the more experience a piercer has, the less pain will be involved). The staff is extremely knowledgeable as well and will answer any questions you may have. Now let's talk about the jewelry selection. Unfreakin believable! There are pieces for any price range and budget. However, I must say, their high-end jewelry pieces are amazing. I have had experiences at other piercing studios in Utah, but generally find the staff (not the piercers) to be cold, snooty and unfriendly. If you're looking to get pierced in Utah, Iris is the place to go! Dustin, Jaymes, Chelsie and crew are simply warm and wonderful.

I went to Iris for a daith piercing to help control migraines. My piercing artist was Samantha. She was very professional. I wear hearing aids and was concerned that the jewelry not get caught on the hearing aid wires. Samantha recommended going with a ring rather than a barbell. I was happy with the selection of jewelry. I had heard that this would be an especially painful piercing, but it actually didn't hurt at all. I have had no trouble with the piercing. The jury is still out on whether it will help with migraines, but I am not one of the people who gets instant relief.
