Alyssa Maucere is one of the most talented humans I have ever come to know. Every piece I entrusted her with has anyways come out ten times better than I could ever have imagined. She's original and most importantly anatomy enlightened. She builds you pieces that will last and grow with you! Here's my favorite piece, done by my girl. My warrior woman. I have cut up almost every T-shirt I own to make sure this piece is seen. Got get tattooed by Alyssa!

Best tattoo experience ever. My friend and I were visiting from out of town. We walked in for two different pieces and were fortunate enough to meet Lauren, who offered to do both. She was the loveliest human, took the time to draw out and adjust our designs (multiple times, seriously, she is a gem). She was very patient and is an extremely talented artist. Would absolutely recommend both this shop as a whole and Lauren herself to anyone in Portland looking to get work done. Plus, we love to support a woman owned business!

I went in to talk to someone about getting a tattoo. They were very friendly and nice. I've been wanting to get this specific tattoo for a very long time. They introduced me to Ryan who was very helpful and kind!! I showed him pictures of what i wanted. We made the appointment and I am absolutely in love with what he did!!! This tattoo is so meaningful to me and he made it look so beautiful!!! I am 100% satisfied with the outcome. And I totally recommend this place to anyone who's looking for good work!

This is a great shop with great artists!! I have seen Alyssa for a few tattoos now, and I love her style. Medusa!!! My best friend and I got matching tattoos in some particularly spicy areas. Her design was incredible, her light hand was especially comforting and made getting tattood as painless as a tattoo can be. For my friend’s sternum, she checked in frequently, gave breaks as needed and even used numbing cream when the pain became very difficult to tolerate. She is so kind, caring, quick, and creates extremely clean lines with bright and vibrant accents. I have over 30 tattoos and I can easily say this was one of the best experiences I have had getting work done. And I HATE getting tattood. Appreciated her friendliness, professionalism, and excellent artistic ability. Will definitely become a regular.

I cannot explain how amazing my experience with this shop has been. I was terrified to get this tattoo on my spine but I had previous back acne scars that were really bringing me down. I wanted to get an 11 year old tattoo fixed that was completely messed up. When I arrived at Lady Luck tattoos it was 7:30pm they were able to fit me in even stayed late to finish my tattoo. I suffer from anxiety and paranoia and this shop made me feel safe and comfortable. I was treated so great that my tattoo took 2 and 1/2 hours but I didn't even realize the time because of the amazing conversation and the great treatment. This is a great place to get tattoos. They are professional and treated me as if they knew me for years. Their artwork is absolutely stunning. I use to hide my messed up tattoo and I felt self conscious about it but now it looks so amazing that I want to show it off all the time. I will definitely be returning to lady luck tattoos.

Love this place. Walked in on a Sunday and experienced most excellent customer service. The artist, Jeanine, reviewed the design I wanted, and measured the existing tat I wanted covered. Just got tattooed here yesterday and I'm so glad i went here. A friend recommended Lady Luck to me and I walked in and my tattoo came out better than I pictured it. Smivee tattooed me and he made me feel comfortable the whole time and asked me how i was feeling through out the tattoo and made sure the design was exactly how I wanted it. Walked in on a Wednesday night and the shop was slow. I had been thinking of a tattoo for about 3 years and Ryan helped me design it and draw it and he was able to do it same day for me. I went in to Lady Luck today for my very first tattoo. I felt comfortable the minute I walked into the shop. Isaac greeted me when I walked up to the counter and he was extremely nice. I was expecting to go in and have to schedule a time to have my tattoos but he said he could do it right then. Isaac did my tattoos, he was awesome. I watched him prepare his station for me and he was extremely sanitary about everything. I went in last week as a walk in with a large size design for my upper arm. It was kind of late in the day, so I was expecting to get an estimate and an appointment for another day. Collin was my artist and he drew up the design and took me in. This piece was a contribute to my grandmother so it was very important to me. Words can not explain how happy I am with the outcome. She is amazing, very creative, sweet, dedicated to her work, perfectionist (which I LOVE, since I am one myself), friendly and she made me feel very comfortable during the tattoo. My mother and aunt have been here when they got their celtic knot tattoos and they love their tattoos a lot, so when I was looking into who I should go to for my first ever tattoo and it being a celtic knot, my mother recommended me to Lady Luck. We walked in this past sunday between my mother working shifts just to see how much the tattoo would be. Ryan was very helpful and nice when I showed him an idea of what I wanted, he then drew it out and showed me it. I instantly loved what he had done and then he told us he could do it right then and there and it would take about an hour or so. So I got it then. I didn't need him to stop at any point for a break even though he offered a couple times. Ryan was very understanding of everything and had a great attitude. I definitely am going to recommend this to people who are looking into getting a tattoo and I plan on coming back!

She went through her vast color selection with me and we choose the best ones. She was VERY patient with me. Especially since it was my first rib tattoo and i was very figity. Took less time than i thought and she walked through after-care with me. Very good place and I would DEFINITELY go back!

I usually go to a tattoo shop in Seattle, but I was visiting Portland and decided to give this shop a try after doing some research. This is the perfect shop to go to if you're looking for any or all of the following: clean friendly spacious unique mixture of men/women artists reasonably priced excellent skill Everyone in the shop is friendly and attentive and cares about you and their work which is the recipe for an excellent tattoo. This shop has such a great vibe. I walked in on a Thursday night to see if they had space for a walk in and if not I was going to make an appointment. They got me right in though! They took into account the way my arm bent and the size of the lettering to make sure it fit well on my arm. I was laughing so hard I was crying which made my tattoo a breeze. This place is epic! Mad Marcii is top notch and incredibly professional (and a damn good time - which is important to me). It started with my initial phone call when I was doing my research for an artist, and even her phone etiquette was warm and welcoming. I went to her for a large upper arm tattoo and just completed my 4th and final session this past week. Her artistry blew me away. SHE blows me away! I'll never go anywhere else. I should also mention the vibe of the shop...it was killer! The other artists were friendly, entertaining, and actually collaborative with one another. Talk about a team. My friend and I are visiting from Northern California and we went to Lady Luck today for our first tattoos, the first thing you need to know is that the customer service here is dynamite. There were only three people there: Smivee, Ryan and another gentlemen--who's name I did not catch so I will call him Deadpool-- they were friendly and jocular as soon as we walked in the door, I would totally be friends with all these guys. Deadpool was incredibly helpful both over the phone and in person, he answered all our questions and helped us fill out our paperwork quickly. Smivee did my tattoo, he was quick and clean and it's exactly what I wanted. Also, I'm not sure if he did anything to mitigate the discomfort, but I was pleasantly surprised at how painless it was. 10/10 would recommend to anyone, and I will definitely consider making the trip to Portland again when I decide to get another tattoo.

Went in to get a quote. Guy in the shop was awesome, and suggested the best artist for what I wanted would have been Ja'nine, and told me to come back on friday at noon (when the shop opens) to see what she says. I showed up at noon, shop was locked and closed. Waited till 1215 and then called to see where someone was. Message on the machine told me to not bother leaving a message because they aren't an answering machine. Total rudeness on the voicemail as you obviously can't uphold your shop hours, and if you can't honor your hours then don't have them. Won't bother wasting my time, which is a shame since I really liked her art. But to me it shows unprofessionalism and not respectful of client's time.
