Just got my my tattoo finished and I’m absolutely in love with it! It was an exceptional experience! Everything from my consultation to the finished tattoo was great! Mason was funny, kind and patient. He made me feel welcome and did a phenomenal job on my baby dragon. I can’t thank him enough for what he did 😊 I felt like he really listened to what I wanted and improved upon that ten fold! I really enjoyed the sense of family I felt there. I had told Mason about other tattoos that I would like to get eventually and he suggested Sam and Jason. I explained to Sam (Jason wasn’t there) what I’d like to get and he seemed excited about the idea. Sam was very nice and I’m really looking forward to working with him in the future. Mason also suggested Jason to add to an existing tattoo that needs some work. I’m excited to get it cleaned up a bit and can’t wait to meet him! I also met Emma. She is so sweet and funny! Her presence was a joy as she would come talk to Mason and I during the tattoo. The shop is clean and everyone working there was very kind, accommodating and helpful. Also, a shout out to Evan. He’s the first friendly face you see when you walk in. He’s a wonderful example of customer service! Thank you to everyone at Dead Gods for an amazing experience and I can’t wait to see you all again!

The vibe is really welcoming and relaxing. For professional work, the prices are perfect! I went in to get a cover-up tattoo (took about 4 sessions, because of the detail and size) - told them ideally what I wanted, and they took my idea and made it their own beautiful work. It turned out wonderfully! Trust me... always trust your artists work. They know what looks best! I will definitely be coming back to enhance more parts of my body with their artwork. (My artist was Sam F. - and he has many more amazing pieces than my cover-up. Check him out!)

This was my first tattoo, and I picked this place based off looking at their shop photos and work done. It was my first choice in the Tigard area. I was not disappointed and am glad I found Dead Gods! Mason did my simple tattoo, and it came out great! I had to wait like a hour on another client so he took 50 bucks off and even kept the shop open a little past closing to finish it up. I would definitely recommend atleast checking this place out if you want some work done. And they have a really nice shop to be in while you get it. I hope this place lives long and prospers.

Brandon Hildenbrandt aka @nightmare_ink absolutely amazed me with his quality of work and how efficient he was with the time. I had started my sleeve with a different artist and wasn’t very satisfied. Once he saw my arm he recommended me some things he could do to finish it. I am beyond I’m awe how much I wish I would have came to him first. He’s a one stop kinda artist, meaning it will be hard to not want all your work done by him. It’s extremely rare and hard to find artists to trust. To be willing to spend not only your money but devote idea for them to put it together on you. Dead Gods environment is something I’ve always loved and has kept me from going anywhere else. Just a bunch of highly experienced and solids people there.

If you're looking to get some totally custom art this is the place to go, there's no way you leave this place disappointed in either the art or the artists here. Great shop. Clean, well run. I have gone to Tyson Dodge twice and he has done amazing work. Not the best picture but the Mt Hood pictured here is one he did. He's a chill guy who does great work, particularly black & Grey realism. All the work I've seen there from other artists has been amazing too. I'll keep going back to Dead God's Tattoo. Have more plans for arms that I'll have Tyson work on when I get the funds together. Great tattoos for a fair price from great artists. Can't go wrong

Brandon at Dead Gods Tattoo does such a phenomenal job. He listened closely, did a detailed sketch over a photo of my leg on his tablet, and then worked his professional magic to make me the most awesome tattoo I have out of a dozen or so. There's a long wait for his services because he's in such demand, but it's totally worth it! I've gotten so many compliments on my Beholder (a Dungeons & Dragons tattoo) since I started wearing shorts over the Spring/Summer. I love it! Note that this review is only for the Beholder tattoo, not the other couple you can see on my legs.

My most recent piece was done by Brandon and he is brilliant, truly a master of his craft. Upon arrival, Emma pulled up her tattoo idea and I immediately fell in love. She is so nice and very down to earth. We talked during the entire tattoo and I felt like I’ve known her for years. Her lines are straight and the choice of shading really made my tattoo pop! I’m so happy to have Emma as my artist and look forward to many more tattoos with her.

I saw on instagram that all of the reviews were deleted, I wish I had my old review as I wrote a pretty lengthy one. My experience at Dead Gods tattoo was amazing. it was my second tattoo, and my experience with my first tattoo (at another shop) was awful. At dead gods my artist was patient, comforting and talented. He helped me figure out the best after care routine, gave me a wonderful tattoo and then a week later tattooed my sister in law. It was her first tattoo, and because of her experience she's now HOOKED, and has another tattoo scheduled. Because of this terrific experience I will be continuing my tattoo journey, though I have moved out of state every time I visit Oregon I will be sure to book a tattoo at Dead Gods. (Only writing the name at the end as not to blast him online, but if you want a great tattoo experience Greg is the one who did mine and my sisters)

There are many great shops provided by the PNW, but none come close to the experiences I have had, and continue to have at this fine establishment. I got to meet the ever-impressive, Brandon Hildebrandt. His warm smile and nerdy surroundings had me comfortable and content. His ability to take referrences and make them come alive on your body, is second to none. I was so satisfied with my tattoo, I made a vow to collect more of his work. Brandon had then recommended his co-worker for some future ideas I had spoken about and had in mind. I didnt quite know what I was in for when going through the insanely out-of-this-world talent that is, David Goldstein. The original artwork of this alien-like being, can only be described by your worst nightmares and crop circles. After seeing his imagination on paper, I soon became a client of his as well. For this project, it was dealer's choice and he delivered a piece that was absolutely stunning. I have been coming to this shop for over two years and it is filled with plenty of diversity and just straight up killers in the game. From the front-desk, to the artists and the head honcho, Joe Skram himself... this is THE BEST shop you are gonna find in Portland, and probably the whole PNW.
