I love Club Tattoo! Every time I go I’m welcomed and they have a chill atmosphere. Today my piercer was Pat! Pat did my nostril and my upper lip (Medusa). He did an amazing job at making me feel comfortable. He gave great relaxing instructions to help me through any pain or discomfort during my piercings. Natasha is easy to work with, has a very light hand and has such a talent for seeing your vision and interpreting it in a way that makes so much more sense. This was my second time getting a service from Club Tattoo, I had a piercing done here, my most recent was a Tattoo by Amber, the whole experience was wonderful. I came in as a walk in at the beginning of January hoping to get a consult, spoke with Amber about what I was looking for and booked my appointment. I did get a reminder call before my appointment, which I was pleased by, even though I was so excited there was no way I was going to forget lol. We came into the shop and the representatives checked me in, the shop was extremely clean!! And so was the restroom, which is always a plus. Amber did a great job in giving me 2 different sizes of the outline and my husband and I chose the size that would be the best for me. Amber was extremely professional, and the line work in my tattoo is superb! I’ve already received so many compliments, I can hardly wait until it is fully healed. The only complaint I have, which is not even a complaint, it’s understandable by the traffic they receive on a daily is the size of the room.. it was a bit tight, so my husband did sit out in the lobby rather then with me, but other than that, I LOVED THE EXPERIENCE! Thank you for the wonderful 5 star service.

I came in for a consultation and he listened to everything I wanted and I’ve come in for half of the piece and I couldn’t be happier. Tony is super awesome. I got my tragus piercing changed to a different earring and my daughter had her forward helix done here. Pricing was more affordable than where we had piercing done in the past. Employees were kind an knowledgeable. To give you an idea of cost, I visited a piercing shop in downtown Tempe area and the only tragus earring they offered that was similar to what I wanted started at $280! For 1 tiny earring, no piercing included. The one I got at club tattoo was $70.

Everything is clean and there's a pleasing esthetic, the receptionist is very thorough and the paperwork is easy to read and understand. Amy McNichol was absolutely awesome. She did 5 piercings on me all in 1 visit. Not only did the piercings come out better than I could have expected, Amy is a true professional in every sense of the word. She was friendly, easy to talk to and extremely knowledgable with experience that was noticeable within the first few minutes of explaining the unique piercing I wanted. Amy also spent significant time to make sure each piercing was in just the right location with virtually exact and equal spacing between each of the 5 piercings. Lastly, because she took so much time on each piercing, only 3 of 5 were done as the shop was closing and Amy stayed late to complete all 5 piercings. I rarely write reviews but after having such an awesome experience, I wanted to take the time to let others know and thank Amy again for her great work. Highly recommend!

I Went to the Mesa location and got a tattoo done by Mystic (@colorme1nk). She was very friendly and very good at drawing up what you want. I love how my tattoo turned out. My only tip with her is to know exactly what you want and try not to deviate from it. She's a bit vocal about changes, which some but take offense to but i was fine with it. She is great.

Walked in to this shop on a whim. The manager (I think she was the manager anyway) Noelle was super nice and helpful. She got me connected with an artist, Kenn. He came out and was super professional and worked with me to make sure it was perfect, not just in execution but also size and placement. He understood how important it was to me. Super nice guy. I did tons and tons of research, and club tattoo is clearly the place to go for piercings! Amy did such an incredible job with my septum that I'm still singing her praises days later. I felt welcome, comfortable, and safe throughout the entire experience. I did have to wait like 30+ minutes past my appointment time, which didn't help my anxiety, but the wait was 100% worth it. I'll be returning as often as I can!

Kenn was our artist today and he was awesome! His line work was amazing. We got some matching tattoos, but were undecided on a few of the details, and he was so patient and friendly. The quality was incredible so I stayed to get a second little tattoo that I had in mind. Kenn played good music, offered to take breaks and did everything to make us feel comfortable. I received my first tattoo from Tony Abbott 1/19/2019. It is just the word “Believe” on my left hand ring finger. I met the nicest most caring artist that day, you see I am 63 now and he changed my view on what tattoos are. After my Mother passed away Christmas 2019, I knew I needed Tony to do a memorial piece for me. It truly turned out amazing…. he included my Mom‘s handwriting in the tattoo. Absolutely love this place! Won't ever go anywhere else. Personally, I prefer Tony Abbott. He's done both of my tattoos and he is on point. He creates what I want and I trust him to do his thing as I just take the torture. The shop is extremely clean, the staff are knowledgeable, and their prices are way cheaper than they should be for the quality you're getting. You can watch them sterilize everything, you can ask them their process and they'll tell you every step, you can see it when they're prepping before your work is done, you will not walk into a tattoo shop that is more sanitary or takes more precautions to ensure your health and safety. If you're new to tattoos, review their portfolio. It is YOUR responsibility to make sure that artist has the skill set you want for your tattoo. There is no shame in using a different artist that may specialize more in what you want. YOU have to take the personal responsibility to make sure YOU review the tattoo before it goes on you and be involved with colors if you're adding color. You have to speak up. If YOU don't like the end result, chances are you didn't take it upon yourself to be more involved and specific. They have the best advice to help you maintain your work. They don't do the work and call it quits. I had a concern the day after my tattoo, and I immediately texted Tony and he assured me it was normal (fluid build up under my saniderm wrap) and it would be fine. Sure enough, it has healed with minimal scabbing and zero change in color or appearance.

First let me say I am NOT HAPPY about the service of one employee, the rest of the shop employees are AWESOME!!!! So I believe her name is Emily, I went in she was on lunch so I was there before her afternoon appointments, I needed to get my nose ring put back in because it had fell out and the chain was hanging. The girls up front informed me that she could probably take care of me real quick as I was there before her appointment. That did not happen, Emily told me I had to wait till her last appointment at 6:40 and she would then see if she could help me out. Now I spend a lot of money there, I've got over 18 piercings and I also tip when having jewelry replaced because I realize it is taking a bit of time to do that. But to tell a customer no, you have to walk around like this until the end of the day and maybe I can take care of you is not right. I asked if I can schedule an appointment to gaurauntee a time slot to get it taken care of and she said no!!! To me, that is not good customer service, and no other piercer there has ever been that way with me, which is why I always come back. But idk... This one piercer needs a customer service class or something. I will still recommend AMY and the new guy Jordan, but one star for this EMILY.

The only issue I have with this place is timing. I made an appointment but they let the walk-in people in first and I had to wait an hour after my appointment which does not make any sense. Spent $200+ on piercings here, the service then was great with Amy. Since then I’ve had some trouble with getting assistance with placing a new earring. It was lost twice as the screw front studs easily come loose, assuming wearing a mask doesn’t help with this issue. I have needed assistance but they do not accept appointments for this. The only option is to sit and wait with no estimated time, until it is convenient for the piercer. I was told after 20 minutes waiting once that the piercer was taking a lunch for an additional wait of 20 minutes and if there were walk ins after that time, they would be taken before me. I haven’t felt appreciated here as a customer, but will give them another try.

I've seen some pretty sketchy piercings done, but I was put at immediate ease when I stepped into the shop in general. I was a little nervous about getting my septum done after seeing a friend go through hell elsewhere, but she told me about every step of the process before, during, and after each piercing. I do not have enough amazing things to say about this place. Every single staff member in club tattoo is friendly, happy, and inviting. I have seen the work of all of the tattoo artists and they’re all amazing. While i was getting my piece done, i heard other artists singing and laughing while they worked on their clients. Everyone was so happy and having a great time. The entire facility is clean and hygienic, with such a friendly and professional atmosphere. My artist, Ina, took my idea, made it better and then utterly perfected it. She mastered this huge piece that covered the entirety of the backs of my legs. This piece took three 8 hour sessions, but Ina was as excited as i was to do this and i could never, ever have imagined that it would turn out as absolutely perfect as it did. Every artist in this facility is brilliant, but my experience with Ina was exceptional and i am so fortunate to have her work on my legs forever. I highly recommend anyone in this facility, but my direct experience with Ina was amazing on so many levels. She is an out of this world artist.

I had my family crest done on my chest, which apparently included some of the worst spots to have tattooed! I’ll be going back to add to that sides back side of the shoulder into a 3/4 sleeve and I honestly can’t wait to do it! And the third time was today to get new jewelry for that cartilage piercing. I don't remember who did the tattoos, but they did a great job and turned out exactly how I wanted. This was my first piercing since having my lobes done as a baby, so I was nervous and I couldn't believe how comfortable he made me as well as how painless the process was. Went here yesterday with a friend of mine who was with Natasha for a new tattoo. Turned out BEAUTIFUL! However the blonde assistant manager is the reason this is 3 stars. A few months ago I got a Medusa lip piercing and could not find a labret that got to save my life. Went and asked to see the piercing specialist to help get the correct size and kept getting brushed off. If I was there for 10-15 minutes I wouldn’t bother with a review. However I was there for 5 and a half hours. Asked 5 times and got brushed off every time. Natasha is fantastic but beware doing any business with the blonde assistant manager.

I researched shops for a couple of hours before finally picking Club Tattoo. I read all the reviews and I was very excited to finally get my navel piercing here! I originally wanted Amy to do my piercing, but she wasn't in and since I heard great things about Burni, I was perfectly fine with having him do it! I called a few hours ahead to confirm price and the receptionist was lovely to talk to and gave me a price quickly! The shop is super clean, the front part where you first come in is inviting, and the place is super spacious! There was quite a few people in the shop but it wasn't crowded. I still got in and out super quickly with a couple of people in front of me! I was so pleased. The actual piercing process was fantastic as well. I was super shocked at how fast it went and how painless it was! It still doesn't even feel sore and it's been a couple days! Thank you Burni and all of the other staff for making this the best piercing experience that I had! You all made me feel welcome and comfortable, and I can't wait to come back for all my tattoo and piercing needs.

I've been going to Club Tattoo for 9 years now for all of my tattoos and piercings and have never had a bad experience. Everyone is like one big family but is still experienced and professional. About two years ago I met with Tony to discuss a basic idea for a sleeve and within minutes he was showing me pictures of his vision and I was in love and he was able to create this gorgeous sleeve out of minimal information. I've spent over 25 hours in his chair and it's never been a dull moment. He is a great guy and artist, and he is the only artist I trust to tattoo me from now on. Although he's great at distracting you during the more painful spots, I wish Club Tattoo would allow their artists to have a tv in their room. It was much easier to have longer sessions or suffer through the painful spots when the tv was on to distract me. That being said, I'm excited to begin my next project with Tony! He has made a client for life!

I traveled to Arizona from Iowa with my dad, I considered getting my first tattoo but I wasn’t sure at the time. The second I walked into Club Tattoo I was greeted by the staff instantly, we told them our thoughts and right away they brought out the tattoo artist that would be doing our work (Ina). I knew right then that I wanted my tattoo done by them. Ina knew exactly what I wanted and made me feel completely confident in it. The price was expensive but I would pay that price again to get such quality work done. YOUR PAYING FOR HIGH QUALITY WORK! Just by explaining what I wanted done Ina drew it out exactly how I explained and even better! I was beyond impressed with her! After scheduling our appointment she gave a warming goodbye and seemed genuinely excited to work on me. The day of our appointment I was extremely nervous considering it was my first tattoo but when I walked in the ladies at the front desk were so helpful and calming. They made me feel like I really could do it! Ina showed me her sketch and it was absolute perfection. Almost like she took it right from my head! She talked me through the entire process making me feel calm. She asked me at least 3 times how I’m doing and reassuring me I’m not making her job harder even with all my twitching. The finished product brought tears to my eyes, the tattoo was very sentimental. She explained what I needed to do to clean it and ensure it won’t get infected and she even gave me a hug after finishing her work. Club Tattoo has very personable artist that genuinely care about you. Just wonderful people. I plan on flying back out to get more work done by miss Ina and I really don’t want to take any attention away from the other great artist but if you want an amazing person and artist ASK FOR INA! After being turned down by 11 other valley shops for a piercing I was going to get regardless, Amy made my vision come true. She told me my risks but said that she knows that it'll happen so she would do it. Not that she recommended it but she would. The piercing was a wrist surface piercing. While other shops said I could only get a dermal, Amy informed me she is a seasoned piercer so she gets why many were nervous. I've had 24 piercings and a previous surface bar so I'm not one that wasn't aware. I'm just glad Amy took time to let me know that me being able to express myself the way I wanted was important to her. We are all different and she's given me my little spice I was missing. I cried because it is EXACTLY what I want! On top of that, her birthday was yesterday! (Happy Birthday Amy!) I had my nose pierced at a different piercing shop a month ago, it became inflamed and had so many problems. They were so nice about the situation on the phone and told me to come in any time and they would help me. Amy is amazing for piercings. Let's just start there. She pierced my 8yo's ears (and mine again too, bc, mommy, you go first!). She is sweet, warm, funny, caring, and comforting. She talked my daughter through the whole process, and made her feel at ease when she was really nervous. My daughter was so happy that she wrote Amy a thank you note and told me she wants to get more earrings while Amy is still working there. Fast forward to today, we went to change her stud earrings out to hoops. I went on Sunday for a piercing with Burni, and he was very professional, the process was quick, the front desk staff is friendly, and the shop was very clean and minimalist, which I adore. But Amy is a whole different story. I was feeling a little down on myself, and I went back to Club Tattoo to consult for nipple piercings. In less than five minutes, Amy appeased my doubts about the process (which as a piercing fanatic I was still terrified of the impact), and we got to work. She made me feel like I was talking to my best friend; I opened up about what was bothering me, and her honesty is just what I needed at that moment. I thought I will scream in pain, but Amy has blessed hands, and even though I squealed, she assured me I was doing great, and ultimately, the pain was not as bad as I expected. After everything was finished, I felt very different, like a badass, with a new confidence I never had, which is the kind that you can't fake. And she made me give her a hug, which I'm sure she knew I needed. Club Tattoo needs to know that Amy is an amazing person, and a very knowledgeable and inspiring piercer. Here the clinger my son is a high functioning Austic and as most people with Austim have high sensory issues. Tony was very friendly and made my son very very comfortable! I actually went to amy to get them removed but she said that we could try and save them. Had an awesome experience here. Walked in off the street yesterday (middle of the day Saturday) to get a consult for a couple 3 x 4” tattoos (& hopefully get them done if the artist had time). Ended up with Allen. Very cool guy with great ideas for where to put the tats and tweaking my designs (which I asked him for). Made me feel VERY comfortable. Laid back guy who’ll make you laugh... great chair-side demeanor. Fortunately, he was able to get me in! He had to custom make the main color on one of my tattoos and he did a great job... PERFECT! I was in and out of there in 1:45 mins... from the moment I walked in (and waited 5-10mins for the consultation) to when I left with my new tattoos. They weren’t the most complex/detailed tattoos but he took care doing measurements and aligning them to make sure they were EXACTLY as I wanted. I wasn’t necessarily THAT particular about it but Allen is! Again, that’s part of why I went with him... he’s into the details and that’s make his art great! I have another tattoos I got 20+ years ago I’m going to have him touch up soon. THANKS ALLEN! ***Highly recommend!***

This is a tattoo and piercing establishment of good repute. The area this location is in is a bit grubby and run down, but the inside of the store itself is nice, clean, well lit. Touchscreen monitor banks allow you to look through some of the work done by the artists there. A large glass cabinet sparkles with jewelry of all sorts. There are wall racks of Club Tatoo-promoting clothing for purchase. The staff at the register counter have been very friendly (and not fake friendly, but honest-friendly) and informational. I do not have a relationship with the tattooers but I've "worked with" both piercers to a certain degree. Amy is the one who did my piercings and she is WONDERFUL! She is funny and very easy to talk to; very personable. I HIGHLY recommend making sure you go in when she's available when you're ready for your piercing. I assume Burni is very good at his job as a piercer, but he has a cold demeanor and makes me uncomfortable. If you don't like smiling or talking or a friendly manner, then Burni is for you (I'm not making a joke, some people are just like that and that's okay). Equipment is kept sterile in bags and opened once needed. Piercing sites cleaned before and after piercing and piercer wears clean gloves every time a pierced site is touched. Post piercing visits for information or questions not charged -- I even went in to have a piercing site looked at and Amy took me in a room, gloved up and took a look before making her recommendations and didn't charge me anything! In case you're wondering, yes, I left a tip because that was super cool of her, but my point is that they don't charge for every little thing. After a piercing you need to keep the site cleaned with a special saline solution (NOT contact lens saline solution) which you can purchase there for convenience. For ANY piercing questions, no matter how "stupid", call them. They will always treat you with respect, treat your question with respect, and answer everything thoroughly.

EDIT: The assistant manager did reach out and apologize for how things went down. I went in later the same day and took my husband with me this time-- the staff was attentive and even the tattoo artist was extremely kind and informative when my husband described a memorial tattoo he's been wanting (last time we walked out was due to an artist, but the desk staff was really friendly at that time, so we were shocked at the artist's attitude), so I'm not joking when I say I was genuinely surprised and relieved our experience was different. The room I got pierced in was clean and the piercer had a calm demeanor that helped me stay calm. I wouldn't have gone back except for their efforts to provide a better experience (my husband and I usually try to give a place a few tries before making an ultimate decision), which is commendable and much appreciated. I just wish a good experience was a guarantee every time you walk in, which is why I'll give it 4/5 stars. -- ORIGINAL: Everyone pretty much says the same thing-- they're super pretentious and snobby here. I've gone twice over the years and walked out both times. This time I went to get a piercing and the receptionist(?) was rude, but the kicker was that while I had my paperwork filled out, waited for the piercer to finish his break, but someone walked in about 10 minutes later and the piercer went straight to them and started taking them on a grand tour and going over options-- the manager (?) was already doing that, but I guess they needed more help? Sat and waited for a while, then finally left.

Honestly, I have been tatted in multiple states across this country. All the way from northern Oregon to south eastern Florida. Finally got there, he asked if another piercer could sit in since it's an uncommon piercing. I said sure, I'm all about helping people learn. He was very good about explaining everything that was about to happen. He and I had already worked out what gauge we were going to pierce at and that we would immediately stretch it. Ouch. Now that its done over the next few weeks Sean kept checking in with me to make sure everything was healing per the norm, which it was. I found the entire staff of this location to be extremely professional and knowledgeable and I was very impressed. All future piercings will go through this shop only and I recommend you do the same.

There is no one word to describe Tony's talent, ability, and patience. I booked for one small tattoo and walked in with a completely different and much larger design. Thankfully Tony was up for the challenge and was able to bang out the start in the 2 hours we had. Went in for a double daith piercing. Don’t judge a book by its cover because the neighborhood and surrounding shops are no reflection of this tattoo parlor. Club was uber hygienic and tidy. The individual tattooing and piercing rooms make for a comfortable experience. Amy did my daiths and having a sharp needle shoved through ones intricate ear part isn’t a fun experience, but she made it an honor for me! She’s the friendliest, chillest, most open and easy-going person I’ve ever met in this industry. I wish I had more things I wanted pierced just so she could do them; it was my pleasure to meet such an awesome human being! She is the best piercer ever!
