My boyfriend and I decided to semi impulsively get some new ear piercings and we found this shop within walking distance so we called to make sure they were open and headed over. We had such a wonderful experience in this shop from start to finish. We were pierced by Ernie who did a great job making sure we were comfortable and was patient throughout the process. I got two piercings and after the second one I started to feel a bit nauseous and he knew exactly what to do and stayed super calm until I felt better. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for a very comfortable environment to get pierced in, we will definitely be going back!

We found this shop by searching the top rated tattoo shop. And it was incredibly accurate! From the moment my daughter called and spoke with the very helpful and friendly manager to when we first came and she suggested we work with Frankie for the type of detail we were looking for. We were not disappointed! Skill level of this artist was definitely at the quality we had hoped. We were so happy with the first work we had done we scheduled more work that ended up taking two full days. I still do not have one day going out without having compliments on my work. I could not be happier. So glad I found this location. After having spent three days Getting work we got to know the personalities of the other artist and the owner of the establishment, they would all be wonderful choices for work. I got to see lots of amazing art. The overall energy of this shop is really truly a Family feeling with the artists. I highly recommend this shop. And depending on what type of work you need to get done you can trust the discretion of the manager to pair you up with exactly the right artist.

I went 3 weeks ago I got pierced with Ernie who was so knowledgeable and made the process painless. I got tattooed by Sparrow, who is truly a genius. It was my 1st tattoo and he was so kind, patient and made the experience so positive. I was truly amazed how he made my dream come to life. There was this really lovely girl at the front desk( I didn’t catch her name) she was so energetic and friendly. Planning to get a 2nd tattoo soon!

Holy cow, this place really was as great as all the reviews said. I called and made an appointment to get my nipple re-pierced after it had been ripped out a year ago (yes, ouch). The piercer took a look at the scar and explained what he was going to need to do beforehand, which I appreciated. The best part by far was that incredibly this second piercing didn’t hurt even close to as much as my first one at a different place. The first time I got my nipples pierced years ago I was in absolute agony for more than 24 hours. Tonight I walked out of Hudson in zero pain at all. The piercer also noticed that my other piercing was still not healed and he gave me advice on proper care and also explained how the straight barbell I had was making it harder to heal. So I went ahead and swapped my jewelry out for a curved barbell. He answered my questions about other jewelry options and was completely professional and helpful all the way through. Lastly, the price was super fair. Can’t recommend this place highly enough.

Ernieeee !! He was nothing short of amazing. He did a "triangle lobe piercing" on one of my earlobes and did my sister's second holes and cartilage. He was quick, clean, informative and gave a great deal when he didn't have to. He is a knowledgeable man within his profession and outside of it as well. Glad I met him and he is officially now my ( and my sisters) go-to piercer ..... If you want someone who will answer allllll your questions ( we literally asked him so many questions for a simple procedure) , is patient, kind and clean- he is your man!!!

Loved it here. Got a tongue and nipple piercing. Ernie was really nice and looked for my safety while doing the piercing (they kinda hurt a lot). Very cool place too. I got my aftercare instructions, got the runaround about cleaning them, the starting jewelry was sanitized, etc, etc. All green flags at this place. The only downside is that you might fall in love with Ernie’s eyes.

I came here to change my nose piercing and it went smooth and quickly. I brought my own jewelry which was really great as most places do not change jewelry not bought from their shop. The jewelry change was $5 which was very affordable because some places charge much more just for that. I will definitely be coming here again when I decide to get more piercing.

I called Hudson Tattoo around 2pm to see if they could squeeze me in for a quick medusa piercing. I wasn’t even considering on going in till the receptionist said I was able to come in the same day, so I made an appointment for 7 . I love how underground the shop looks and feels. I felt comfortable and safe with the piercer . Pain level for a medusa piercing is around 4/10. Very quick happened in less than a second. The Piercer was very kind and made sure the piercing sat perfectly on my face. I can’t wait to come back to get the rest of my piercing done

Just got my nose piercing (stud) not too long ago w my girls they got a smiley. And it was over all a good experience they made sure everything was sanitized. And they used a needle instead of the nail gun (more professional) I forgot the guys name but he was pretty cool. The price was a little more than expected but not over the top which is fine cause I just got paid lol. The piercing healed right with the recommendations that he gave us so 5/5 stars for this place. And my mom rated it that too since she got her cover up here and they did pretty good and succeeded are expectations. 😊

Ernest helped me out in a tricky situation when I had to get an MRI and needed my cartilage piercing removed. Not only did he remove it, he was able to replace it with a silicone piercing so the hole wouldn't close!!! I've had the piercing for 3 years from a different shop/piercer and he noticed it still was not healing properly. He invited me to come back the following day so he could replace the jewlery so that the piercing could finally heal! I am so, so happy with my experience and I highly recommend him to anyone looking to get a piercing done.

Last week I walked into Hudson Tattoo with my boyfriend. He had an appointment for a new tattoo with Angie while I wanted to get some new piercings on my right ear. Ernie gave me three new piercings, which I love and have healed quite nicely. He has a laid back demeanor, which I like, and it's obvious he's a skilled piercer. The whole process was sanitary and took less than 20 minutes. Afterwards, Ernie gave me care instructions and told me to come in for a check-up if I wanted. Overall, I'm very happy with my experience and would definitely go back.

Called on a Saturday to drop in as my nose piercing of 4.5 years closed up due to a bad cold in which I had to take it out. I spoke with the piercer within 2 min of entering. Waited for another customer in front of me, maybe a 10-15min wait. Signed paperwork. Started process, was shown the sterile needle in package, tools, and was even shown different colors that might interest me. That was a bonus! Everything was sterile and wrapped. Had gloves on, and I was done within 3-5 min. Was a little crowded which is expected on a Saturday. Grateful I was able to get in. The shop itself looks maintained and has artwork on the walls. As an artist, this was awesome to see and helped pass the time as I waited. My re-piercing hurt LESS than when I originally got it done. And, is healing wonderfully.

You can rest easy knowing that he knows exactly what he's doing after years of experience. Most recently got my septum pierced and he immediately identified a slight tilt in my septum and adjusted the angle of the needle accordingly. Came out perfectly!

My experience getting my tongue pierced was wonderful people were nice the only issue I can say is I believe my piercer gave me jewelry that was a little bit too small for the healing process and the jewelry is embedding into my tongue making small craters into the tip of my tongue no sign of infection the piercing hasn’t been giving me any other problems besides that so all I can say is just start people off with a larger bar so the piercing has room to swell and heal properly other than that you guys were great I do have to get larger jewelry though 😅😊

I just got a dermal removed and snake bites. Honestly the guy was cool and he only took like five minutes and he's good at what he does. The place was laid back. I don't have any huge complaints, except the pricing. I called before hand because I live in Hoboken and didn't want to waste a trip up if it was too expensive. The last place quoted 60 which I thought was a little high seeing I only paid 40 for each of my dermals to be put in. This place estimated 20 base if I didn't need a cut and it could just be removed. Sounded great. I didn't need the extra cut but I was still charged 100 and that price was given after the work was done😔. I was told this was a discount because usually they charge more. I was not prepared to pay that much, at all. I probably would have waited, been better prepared or just let it reject itself. If it wasn't for the huge price increase or just a better heads up before the procedure, I'd probably be a returning customer because I have a lot of other things I wanted done but i wouldn't want to be in that position again. I would give 4/5 for everything but the pricing situation was a complete turn off.

I have had a microdermal piercing on my lower back for a little over 7 years, a few days ago I decided I needed to get it taken it out. Someone told me this was the BEST place to go for that, and Ernie was the best person to go to for it. So I did exactly that, first speaking to Ernie over the phone, and let me tell you ALL my questions he answered. He really made it easy for me to put my trust in him. When I came to the shop I was seen very quickly. Where he continued to prove to me he was VERY knowledgeable about microdermals. The environment was very clean and he showed me the brand new sterile tools. Although there was some inevitable pain he did make sure I was comfortable at all times and made it relatively quick! When I tell you I AM SO HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE I RECIEVED TODAY I AM SERIOUSLY SOOO FREAKING HAPPY. I normally dont even write reviews yet here I am. If you are considering coming here. Stop considering and come. I promise you will be pleased. Today this shop earned my loyalty.

Got my first tattoo there two weeks ago after years of putting it off but I figured with the circumstances in the world why not? I had Stalin who arrived almost right on time and after a very short wait (less than 5) we talked about the concept. At first he seemed a bit rough on the edges but once we started talking about music it was all good. I gave him a concept and I told him to add some more detail which he did, I didn't want to look at it till it was done but once I did I was very glad! Can't wait to go back and get another!
