Highly recommended. Charlie has done work on me before on the past. We recently brought my autistic 20 year old son in to his shop for his first tattoo as a memorial for his mom and sister. It came out perfectly as expected. Charlie is very professional, knowledgeable and caring about his work. If you have a question about your tattoo, he'll definitely steer you in the right direction with his extensive knowledge. They don't make too many people that actually care about their work anymore, but this man definitely does! Thanks Charlie! When we want any more tattoo work, your phone will be ringing!

My wife and I just recently got our first tattoos from Charlie based on some highly trusted recommendations. I couldn't have been happier, and this will be the only place I'll got for future tattoos. I originally wanted a certain piece that had a lot of detail, but Charlie told me right away that it wouldn't work, and it wouldn't look good. Other places probably would have gladly taken my money to do an ill advised tattoo, but Charlie takes pride in his work, and was not willing to do something that wouldn't hold up. The piece I did end up going with, he did a masterful job on. I've since been noticing other people's tattoos, and I can comfortably say that it seems most other tattoos were done by a cartoonist, while mine were done by a true artist. This was my first tattoo. I walked in with a couple of different pictures to talk about ideas. Charlie politely and professionally explained why several of the options would not work best long term. He can up with the absolutely perfect design that incorporated everything I had envisioned for years! I originally wanted color but Charlie’s use of black is amazing! It is so detailed that it almost tricks your eye into seeing color, that isn’t there. His prices were fair and you absolutely get your money’s worth!

I searched a long time before getting my first tattoo. Charlie is an artist. I wanted someone who didn't just "color by number". I wanted someone who knew how to shade and show definition. Someone who took the time to give his honest opinion about my design, placement etc. I really like this place because it is very clean, no drugs, no smoking or drunk people hanging out. Very respectful place. I have six tats from Charlie and wouldn't trust anyone else. The majority are custom pieces (and he keeps them as one of a kind, no one else can get my pieces from him). Highly recommend. A good tat isn't cheap and a cheap tat is never good...pay for the quality of work because it is permanent. You won't be disappointed. Oh yea and LEAVE YOUR ATTITUDE AT THE DOOR!!!! Like I said this is a respectful place!!!

Charlie dos some awesome work! Got my first tattoo by him two years ago. Before meeting him I went to other artists with my own drawing to see about getting it done and they all wanted to change everything, didn't even look like how I wanted it done after, just aggravated me, but not Charlie. Unfortunately, they are in a very overlooked location, I would have never known about his shop if it wasn't for my friend telling me about him. The detail in his work is truly artful, not rushed.
