Love this place! I have had my tongue re-pierced (a successful rescue), an industrial bar, and a nipple piercing. Fantastic experience every time, the staff are always informative and patient with questions. The services are very reasonably priced as well. I highly recommend Amy! She is my go-to.

Amy and Pat are fantastic! I first got piercings from Amy over 11 years ago and recently went back for more. She is still just as wonderful. I had to have surgery this spring and Pat helped me change out my jewelry to plastic retainers in preparation (and then back after the surgery). They are so knowledgeable, kind, and professional! I am booked for another piercing in 2 weeks. I won't go anywhere else!

I would give them a million stars if I could. I took my 7 year old in to get her ears pierced today and Amy and Pat were so wonderful with her. They talked to her and let her make her own decisions. We spent the weekend in Louisville for the Louder Than Life music festival. During the first day my 8g labret ring kept popping open. Contacted them via email the next day. Was quickly responded to and picked up a titanium CBR to replace it within an hour of them opening. Excellent experience.

Absolutely awesome. They pierced both of my girls' ears. They kept the girls aware of everything and focused on their autonomy, consent, and comfort. They did tandem piercing so both ears were done at once. They gave a really good rundown of care and (this may be my favorite part) they directed all of this information to the little ones. It was a great experience. I will definitely recommend them to anyone I know looking to have a piercing done or an ear piercing for a child.

Pat was my piercer. Got my first piercing ever here (both earlobes, 16g). Pat explained everything very well and made me feel very comfortable. Everyone there was super chill and I felt very welcomed. Pat ran everything through a sterilization test and showed me the results. i always go to amy for all of my piercings. she has done every single one except for my earlobes. i have never had a problem with healing after piercings. when i recommend my friends, clients, and family members i tell them she’s pricey but with how professional, clean, and calming amy is it makes it 110% worth it. she always gives me cool aunt vibes…she’s the best in town!!!!!

Amy is so amazing at what she does & so easy to talk to. Getting undressed in front of anyone especially someone you don’t really know is always a bit uncomfortable 🤣 but before i even knew it I was stripped down to barebones feeling like we’ve been friends for ages. I came to her today with a “thought” about a potential metal allergy and how I could get around it without losing my piercings. This was my hood piercing which I do NOT want to lose!! she and I had a meeting of the minds & came up with some awesome ideas and theories about what could have been going on with my body. She then came up with a plan which she executed seamlessly & with NO discomfort. She even changed lot my barbell free of charge. Until we found the perfect size & then she’s going to Customize and special order 14k gold barbell for me to work around my metal allergy!! As a small business owner myself it was amazing to be in someone’s presence and you can FEEL their love & passion for their craft 10 out of 10 will always recommend.

I recently got my ears pierced by Amy. She was beyond professional and made the whole process go extremely smoothly. Two weeks later I lost the front of the piercing while sleeping. I contacted Amy and she got me in immediately (the shop was even closed for the holidays), replaced the missing front, and didn’t charge me. The piercer, Pat. Was extremely courteous, knowledgeable and had a clean work area. I was getting me nose, “re-pierced”. So he could’ve easily ripped me off. Instead, he told me that we just had to, find the hole for the piercing again. He only charged me half price since he didn’t have to, re-pierce the holes again. I would recommend their service over every other shop in the city.

Great experience! I came in to get my septum pierced and everything went smooth from the jump. She showed me sterile supplies so I knew everything was cleaned, made sure everything was comfortable, and even did breathing with me before the actual piercing. Not to mention my septum is naturally not straight so when the piercing was a little crooked she offered immediately to redo it because SHE actually cared about it. Not painful at all, actually one of the least painful piercings I’ve had, surprisingly. Very kind, comfortable, and professional staff! I will be back for sure.

Wow, I'm thoroughly impressed. I worked with Twisted Rodney to get a forearm tattoo. I sent him my idea with reference examples and he quickly sketched up a personalized design. I had a few tweaks and he worked with me to get the look I wanted. I go in for my appointment, the place is clean and everyone is friendly. It ended up being a 4 hour appointment and thankfully Rodney is a great conversationalist which greatly took my mind off the pain. Probably the most painless tattoo I've gotten. Talented people who love what they do. I highly recommend this place.

Fantastic location, no issues finding parking, welcoming atmosphere, and personable staff. They were quite busy when I arrived for my appointment, but I was immediately acknowledged and accommodated by their wonderful front desk. All of their jewelry options were showcased to me and explained in great detail. When it was time to go back to get pierced Amy thoroughly explained the aftercare, as well as, what to expect getting the nostril piercing. My seven year old earned her earrings recently. Twisted Images was a blessing for this process. The staff was polite, helpful, knowledgeable and professional. They made it a total experience for her! She learned how to take care of the maintence and they explained everything to her! She was empowered to decide when she was ready and had control of the decision; she could change her mind at any time. I can’t say enough about the staff. I would recommend them to anyone. My girl was thrilled, and I would go back for sure. I wish there were a bit larger selection of earrings, but I’m not sure that can be helped. The high quality of the product may not be widely available. The natural way they work and being so focused on safety was appreciated. Shows us the sterile seals and everything. Ladies were thorough!!!! Overall five star experience and would recommend for your piercing needs!!!

I went in with a piercing that was swollen up from an accidental pull and they changed my jewelry out and took care of it as a walk-in! The staff is so friendly and make sure that the jewelry is fitting well, they take their time and don't try to get you in and out quickly without taking care of your need. Amy pierced my Septum today and it was a really awesome experience. She's really good at what she does and it was relatively painless. They use new needles for every piercing and the facility is clean. They also have an emergency email address that you can use to contact them if you think a tattoo/piercing is getting infected. It's very apparent that they stand behind their work and they care about their clients. I couldn't have gone to a better place for my first face piercing. I'll definitely be getting future work done there!

I had a fantastic experience at twisted images. I was a walk in, and was immediately helped by the staff at the front desk. I was able to get in to see Kenny ward, who I cannot say enough good things about. The room I received my tattoo was clean, well lit, and comfortable. I brought in a sketch of what I was wanting, and Kenny drew up a beautiful final draft of a sprig of lavender. The whole process was very pleasant, Kenny was very obviously experienced and knew his craft well. The tattoo I got took around an hour, and was 100$. It turned out beautifully and I can definitely say I highly recommend this shop.

I came here after developing an irritation bump on a rook piercing. The first piercer I went to used a hoop, which made it even more difficult to heal. I called Twisted Images and they got me in super quickly. She changed my hoop to a curved barbell, and was super gentle with it. They were all super friendly and informative, and it was such an easy process. Will definitely be coming here for piercings from now on!

They were able to slip earrings back in without having re-pierce my ears after I had my studs out for over 5 years. Then I went back a few weeks later and got my first tattoo done by Kenny. He did excellent work and the tattoo was exactly what I was hoping for. I'll be going back to Kenny for the rest of my tattoos. Excellent staff, great tattoo artists, and extremely fairly priced. For piercings and tattoos this shop is A+ all around.

This was my first time visit to Twisted Images. I had to replace the top of my monroe piercing. The building was welcoming and very clean. The price for my replacement was very reasonable. What a wonderful friendly knowledgable staff. While I was a walk in the wait time was not long they worked me in quickly. Great place to get a piercing!! My nose stud fell out so I had to go somewhere to get it put back in. I called and Amy told me to come in and she would look at it to see what she could do. I went in and she was able to help me out. She sterilized the stud and piercing site and proceeded to put it in. Amy was kind, helpful, patient, fun, and respectful. I've returned to Amy for 12 years since the day I came to her shop and she helped me with a bellybutton piercing gone wrong from another, now thankfully shut down, local shop. Amy has a pristine and intriguing place. She refuses to use low quality jewelry and tools for the sake of profit. The shop is beautiful and totally decorated by Amy and friends. If you don't find yourself looking at one of the portfolio books, you'll find yourself wandering through a sterile art gallery, if you will. Amy is accredited and very versed in her work. Day before my 19th birthday I went in for my first piercing other than ears, a nose stud. I had done all kinds of research to find the best place in louisville to get a facial piercing and Twisted Images was by far the best decision. Upon arriving it's very difficult to find parking which would be my first small complaint, but when walking into the location it's very unique and has a cool atmosphere. The next complaint would be the fact that it was super hot, it seemed as though the air conditioning was out, it was so hot. The piercing experience itself was amazing..i was INSANELY nervous and Corinne did an amazing job relaxing me and explaining everything in great detail for my family and I. My final complaint would be that they are much higher in price than the majority of other locations. 35$ for the piercing and 30$ for the jewelry. 65$ is a bit high. Otherwise the piercers are amazing, extremely knowledgeable, and very kind. It was painless and a great experience aside from the higher price and warm atmosphere. I would still highly recommend Twisted Images to anyone.

The long over due Review I got my septum pierced over 2 weeks ago. I had to cancel my first appointment and they were very understanding. The next day I was out running my errands and decided to cal to see if I could come that day. They scheduled me right in and was OK with the fact I was with my husband and kids. When we got the we were taken aback with the beauty of the house and decor. This place is awesome! I have gotten piercings from here, and my friends got their first tattoos here as well! Since I have had many piercings here, I can say that other places in Louisville just dont cut it anymore compared to Twisted Images. Even when I did try other places, I would go to Twisted Images with my problems and they would be solved that day, with a call ahead of time or not. Love you guys!

Yesterday was my first visit, my brother Donnie Smith has all his work done here. I will definitely be back. Very Clean the artist are very professional and super nice. I was nevours because I had never been to twisted, but I trust my brother. S8n was my artist and he was very good with me. I had no anxiety and almost no pain. My tattoo experiences have been largely positive, but none as welcoming as with Kenny Ward at Twisted Images. I was going to be in Louisville for work and found Kenny's work in my research of area shops. I reached out a few days in advance (his Instagram had mentioned open books), letting him know I was looking to get a long-desired floral piece and provided details on color, size, placement, and even included some of his previous art for reference. Kenny was friendly and professional in his communication and even more so during the appointment. This tattoo truly felt like a collaborative effort and Kenny brought my vision to life in the most beautiful and skilled way possible. I cannot recommend him highly enough. I usually go to Tattoo Charlie's because they are Very sanitary. With the earrings, they sanitize the earrings and my ear before placing jewelry back in it. Buuuut, I lost an earring and needed a replacement before my hole closed up and had to go somewhere who was open, which was this place Twisted Images. I didn't like that they didn't clean my ear first before placing a post back in it. Sanitation and cleanliness are my #1. After I left I wiped my ear and jewelry with an alcohol wipe.
