Josh Henderson is simply the best! He has done virtually every tattoo on my body, and I always go back for more. Give him an idea, and let him do his thing. He will make a beautiful design for you, then do a brilliant job tattooing it on you. I can't recommend Josh and Black Cobra enough. The studio is bright, smells awesome, and is spotlessly clean, and the atmosphere is fun and laid back. This is the only place to go in Arkansas to get tattooed. I regularly drive two hours to see him, and I always will. Go! Now!

Crystal is absolutely amazing! She is one of the sweetest people ever and did everything she could to give me a great experience. I was a walk in but she took a ton of time out of her day to design my tattoo exactly how I wanted. She placed five stencils trying to make the location I wanted work. When it still didn’t, she was upfront with me about wanting to consider a better location and even helped me pick one that turned out to look way cooler. Crystal really cares about her work and making sure you leave the shop happy. Everyone that I met at the shop were so nice and it was hands down the best experience I’ve ever had. I’m already planning my next tattoo and I know exactly where I will be going.

Today was my first time getting tattooed at Black Cobra. I booked in with Josh to get two moon phases with a pair of coordinating dates on my arm. He was very friendly and was able gave me exactly what I wanted. His work not only met but exceeded my expectations. This shop has amazing artists, is super clean, super friendly, and super knowledgeable. They go out of their way to make sure their work will last and heal well. There is also a good variety of style available here in the shop. Yes, Matt and Katie are amazing, but check out the Instagram pages for the other artists here also. They have a lot to offer! And if you want to get pierced, Kyle is the most professional guy! He is super patient with all the questions I had after my piercings, and he's been great at checking to make sure everything is healing as it should whenever I get uneasy.

Don't know why I haven't reviewed here yet. I've done several sessions with Matt O'Baugh(owner/artist) and it's not only the best work I've ever gotten it's also the cleanest and nicest shop I've ever been too. Friendly people, comfortable chairs while getting ink, and artist that know there stuff. I'm excited to get back and finish sleeve. I promise it's worth the wait to get in there. I wish all my other ones were done only at black cobra. Ps. Black Cobras roll on tattoo ointment( like a stick of deodorant) is amazing, I like it better than any other tattoo after care I've ever used..

I’ve had 4 tattoo appointments with Matt and every visit has been beyond stellar. The shop is incredibly clean...they have so many safety/cleanliness factors in place. They’re also great at communication leading up to the appointment. The whole crew at Black Cobra is super talented, friendly, and so enjoyable to chat with during the appointment. I drive 5.5 hours just to come to this shop, so I’m super thankful for Carah taking the extra time to find appointments that work with my schedule. Matt’s work is out of this world, I get compliments everywhere I go. This shop is absolutely worth the drive and they’re the only shop I’ll ever use for tattoos/piercings, and the only shop I recommend to my friends. Thanks y’all for being so awesome!!!

I had never had a piercing before so I was nervous upon arrival, however the staff were so friendly and set me right at ease. It’s very aesthetic and incredibly clean inside. The couch is one of the comfiest I’ve ever sat on. They are also taking every precaution to make sure everything is sanitised. The store is clean and well-decorated, and every one of the staff I’ve interacted with (including social media) was super friendly and helpful. I really like the vibes here. I also appreciate that masks are still mandatory and that they guided me to keep my mask on while being pierced without it interfering with the process, to help maintain everyone’s safety even if we were all fully vaccinated. All staff are masked also! I got my septum done by Kyle. Kyle was professional, friendly, and super reassuring. He informed me of what he was doing at every step which I super appreciate and helped my nerves. A lot of care was taken in ensuring I was happy with my piercing and it was placed correctly! Got a bad septum piercing 3 months ago and showed him why I didn’t like it and he ensured me he’d check to make sure he can pierce it where I wanted and if he couldn’t he’d let me know. The internally threaded jewelry was also a plus. He also gave me info on how to clean and care for my new piercing. Definitely considering getting my first tattoo done at Black Cobra!

Called ahead to schedule a piercing appt for me and 2 friends and was told there was no need to make one just show up before a certain time. The place was extremely clean. They made us use hand sanitizer 3 separate times, which was a little overkill but fine. There was only 1 other person in there and she was getting a tattoo.The problem I had was the fact that they acted like it was an issue to do 3 piercings when they had told us it wouldn’t be. They said they’d only do 2. There was plenty of time to do a piercing that literally took maybe 10 mins at the most. So unfortunately I wasn’t able to get mine done and before the owner gets on here and gets bent out of shape, no I didn’t sign in bc THEY WOULDN’T DO MINE. So I went elsewhere and got it done for almost half the price and that place did a great job. I don’t think this is a bad place to go, but the customer service just wasn’t very accommodating..maybe it was just that day but it left a bad taste in my mouth and I won’t be back.

I absolutely loved Kyle and Kade that did my piercings, they were very professional, knowledgeable, and sweet. They made sure I was okay with everything with the set up for the piercings and after. And went into great detail with aftercare. I'm in love with my piercings and I love the atmosphere of the shop, I am definitely going to be coming back for more piercings and tattoos. :)

I have never had an experience here that was anything but amazing. I’ve been getting pierced and tattooed here for almost 4 years now and y’all are the friendliest shop in Arkansas. Kyle and Kade are both great piercers on top of being super cool people. There’s not an artist in this shop I would hesitate to get tattooed by, and I usually go to Maia (who is amazing). I recommend Black Cobra any time I get the chance to!!

Black Cobra is one of the best tattoo shops I have ever been too. They have award winning artists and the entire staff is very friendly and helpful. Their prices are very reasonable for the quality of work you are receiving and their attention to detail is unmatched. I worked with Teryn today, he took the time to discuss artwork, any concerns that I had, and helped me design my tattoo. He was very courteous, professional, and drew my (now favorite) tattoo which turned out better than I could have imagined. Overall, they are spectacular. If there was a higher rating I would have given them that one.

Katie tattooed me about a month ago and it was such a great experience. The shop is immaculate and everyone in the shop was super kind and inviting My tattoo is of my dog with lots of bright, colorful flowers. It is even more perfect than I imagined in my head. Today I had the pleasure to get pierced by Kyle Arkansas and he is the sweetest most professional person! Plus he’s definitely a cutie 🤤 and if that wasn’t enough, he is so knowledgeable about everything. He takes his time to make sure everything is as perfect as could possibly be! I’ll only ever use this shop for my tattoos and piercings needs in the future. Currently this shop is a two hour drive for me, but worth the drive. Incredibly clean and professional. There is no needless physical contact. My nose piercing went smoothly, I will consider this spot for any future services I may want. Never mind, a week after piercing my nose I developed a keloid. I've had over 15 piercings, including the same cartilage just a different spot, and none have ever developed keloids or infection. Maybe it was my bad, but experience says it wasn't.

To be honest i was expecting someone rude or someone who would not be too interested in doing a small simple tattoo! I'll start by saying this was my first tattoo and I was insanely nervous. I chose Shawn to do this tattoo because his work is phenomenal and I knew he would do a fantastic job! The day of the appointment I showed up to the shop and everyone was very welcoming, the shop has a nice atmosphere. Shawn used my reference pictures to create a design even better than I imagined. He was incredibly patient with all of my nerves and listened when I had suggestions to the design. He explained what he was going to do in detail and answered all of my questions. Took my son-in-law there to get his first tat. Staff was friendly, the establishment was clean and well lit. Wall decorations were wild and cool. Compared to several tat shops I've been in, this one is definitely upper crust.

Matt has tattooed me 2x and I could not be happier with my tats. Matt is the best artist in the state and he is currently covering up some tats I got somewhere else. I will never go to anyone but matt but everyone at black cobra does great work and makes you feel comfortable. I won’t go anywhere else.

I've been tattooed by Blake and he did so good on it. And it was last minute, since I wasnt sure if it was gonna conflict with a meeting. He did awesome and he took the time to draw up wxacy what I wanted. He drew for two hours , coming out periodically to ask me if I liked it so far. I don't put time constraints on quality and no one should . He did very good. I'll definitely be back as soon as i can get some money saved up.again.
