I took my minor (17) year old daughter here to have her belly button pierced and it was a fantastic experience. The online check in was easy, and Erika at the reception desk was amazing. Super friendly, and outlined the paperwork process for us before we dove in. She verified all of our paperwork quickly and efficiently too, which I appreciated. Moms and Dads - they don’t play about the info you need to bring so make sure you check the website before you go! Alexis was our piercer and she was awesome too. Kept us updated during our (very short) wait and was totally laid back during the process, which made my daughter less nervous. The studio is clean, brightly lit and has a fun vibe. You can tell the staff and employees like their jobs. We usually get all of our piercings done at a popular studio in Katy - not anymore! We will be back for sure!

First off I want to say how awesome these guys are. The woman at the front desk was super friendly and helped us get checked in. Wife and I went late on a Sunday night to get piercings. My wife was getting her second cartilage piercing and I was getting my first ever ear piercing. I can't say I wasn't a little nervous but everyone there made me feel really comfortable. My wife who has had several piercings from here, several years ago, and other places was the one that suggested we check them out. Alexis was who did ours and made everything really straight forward and easy for both of us. The wife had really painful scar tissue from a previous botched gun piercing, Alexis was very quick in that area to reduce the pain. She also was very quick to respond to her pain. Everything was easy for me but she still was awesome. She also was happy to do a little consult about a couple future piercings for me. Place was very clean and you can tell they take cleanliness very seriously here and in the tattoo parlor connected to them. Can't recommend this place and Alexis enough!

Me and my two cousins decided to come to bio labs for some piercings. We came in and were in line to be pierced by Catt. She calls us to the counter and she is the coolest chick ever!! She took her time with us and helped us pick out our jewelry. She also changed out two of my piercings. Catt listened to us and offered her opinions. Would come back here again and definitely will be when Catt is there to do our piercings.

Love love love this place! I am a 16 year old getting her first piercing and I was so comfortable! It was a easy sign in with my mom and not a long wait at all. I got pierced by Catt and she was so sweet and comforting. She let me know how it was going to feel, helped me breathe, talked me through everything, taught me about aftercare, helped me stay distracted and informed me how I could feel afterwards and helped me when I started feeling that way. I’m so thankful for this wonderful experience and would definitely recommend 10/10!

My first time coming here and everything was just as stated on their website. There’s a big QR code to scan and sign in; I was 5th in line and only waited about 15 minutes at most before being called ins I got pierced by Alexis and she was super nice and walked my cousin and I through each step. My piercing was also sterilized in front of me which was nice. The person out front was also helpful and even though I wasn’t sure whether I’d end up getting a piercing or not they were both nice. This is my first piercing and I would definitely recommend coming here.

I had an excellent walk-in experience today with Aaron (piercer) and the lady at the check in desk! The online process was very easy and simple and I had minimal wait time even with no appointment. I came in for a jewelry change. Aaron was very kind, thorough, and sanitary, and he explained each step he took as he measured me, shaped my ring and inserted it into my healed piercing area. He answered all of my questions with a friendly tone and detailed responses, which is rare to find at other Houston piercing and tattoo shops. The jewelry price was very reasonable so I purchased more pieces that he also shaped to fit my piercing area without being asked! I will not go anywhere else for new piercings from now on. I’ve gotten my earlobes, both nostrils, septum, and lip pierced here all by different piercers but each and every single one of them has been so kind and friendly. I never felt nervous because they were really good at explaining how it was going to happen. Even my septum and lip piercing didn’t hurt at all, idk if I was lucky but I’m gonna say that was skill. (Shout out to Catt who pierced my lip today, didn’t even feel it!) You get what you pay for & that’s cleanliness and quality here with Biolab.

I stopped in on a Saturday with two friends to get a piercing. I thought they were closed but after finally reading the directions clearly posted on the door, I scanned the qr code and got on the waitlist. Alexis was patient in showing me all the options and finding me more options that were within my budget. My two friends decided once we were inside to get piercings as well and the front desk was super nice, re-arranging us so that Alexis could do our piercings together. We have to go back for a 6 week check up soon and are all three planning to get more piercings. Highly recommend, just make sure you read the instructions on the door, don't be like me.

Excellent service. They are rather strict in their process but for good reason. I went there with my daughter, we were in and out in 20 mins. My daughter's experience was very good too, with much lesser pain than expected during the actual piercing process. When you arrive scan the QR code on the door. This place was extremely professional! I went and got a PA. Aaron was my piercer and he was very thoughough with explaining the procedure and and the aftercare. It's odd to have another man touch your genitals but he was awesome! I felt very comfortable getting it done once he starting talking about his experience and training. Im not gonna lie and say it was painless but it was quick and to the point. I will go back once it's been healed up to get a bigger gauge. Very clean and professional once again. 5 stars all day long. I will recommend it to everyone I know who wants it done or any other piercing for that matter..

The wait isn’t much to complain about with knowing how popular this place is. Went in to get my septum and vertical labret done and once it was my turn, it was a quick in and out. Ben was my piercer and with how nervous I was to be there (I deal with severe anxiety) he made sure I was comfortable, informed me throughout the whole way, explained in great detail how to take care of my piercings and even provides with a card with his number in case I have anymore questions or concern. The place is cleaned and well sanitized and will definitely be coming again for any future piercings! Thank you so much Biolab gang, y’all are fantastic!

I went to Biolab today for 4th ear piercings in each ear. I was greeted warmly at the reception area and did not wait long once I completed my paperwork. Aaron was my piercer and he was PHENOMENAL - so professional and courteous!! He talked me through each step of the process, making eye contact when he was able to. Shout out to Aaron he is absolutely amazing. This was my first ever piercing besides my basic ears and he walked me through every step. He helped me to calm down and not be too nervous. Plus when I got a little faint afterwards he let me lay down and got me fresh cold water. I've never had such amazing service before. Ben is the best piercer!! The staff was very friendly and Ben was super meticulous about sanitization and very communicative about the process. I went in with 3 other girls to get different piercings and the process was a breeze. I usually have allergies to certain metals but Ben assured me that they use surgical steel and my industrial piercing is healing like a DREAM and it’s only been 2 weeks! My sister and I went to get piercings for her 16th birthday. We arrived around 5:30pm on a Sunday evening. Upon arrival, you must scan the QR code located on the front door to put yourself on the waitlist. I was number 11 in line and my sister was number 12. IT WAS A LONGGGGG WAIT!!! We waited 2 hours before getting a text saying it was our turn. We came in and filled out the necessary paperwork. (Please note, if you are coming with a minor, their biological parent has to be present along with their birth certificate, parental ID, and some form of picture ID for the minor!) After filling out the paperwork we waited another hour for our turn to be pierced. So a total of a 3 hour wait. The wait time is really the only con of Biolab. We received excellent customer service from the moment we entered the facility. The front desk operator took pride in her job. She made sure that everything any customer touched from the pens, chairs, and door handle was disinfected after every single person. She was kind and sweet. She was very professional. Aaron was the person you completed my nose piercing. This was my very first piercing, other than my ears as an infant, and I was nervous. He took his time and walked me through each step. He cleaned everything thoroughly and sanitized the equipment in front of me. He took the time to hear my concerns of possibly getting a keloid and explained how I could avoid that. He showed us how to clean our piercings and gave us his contact information if we had any questions or concerns. After leaving we understood why we had to wait so long. Because Aaron is very informative and takes his time with every single person. I’d definitely recommend Biolab to anyone. However maybe go on a weekday afternoon rather than on the weekend to avoid long wait times.

Ben did my piercings, I got 3 lobe piercings. He only charged me for the third hole because I already had closed holes that he didn't have to repierce I guess. I wasn't aware if this but each hole comes with a piece of jewelry for that hole that will be easy to clean while it's healing. Very good idea that I didn't even think of I brought some that he informed me could trap germs and cause infections. All in all very satisfied with my experience.

I googled the number one places in Houston to get piercings. A few shops came up for me to compare... this shop had the best ratings and comments so I said this is where I'm going hands down for mine. I drove a hour to the shop, parked and came in. I got an industrial piercing about 3 months ago and the staff was extremely nice and made me feel so comfortable. I had some issues with the piercing so I went back and they gave me a longer bar free of charge! (the bar was too short so i couldnt clean it well). I went here for a dermal piercing (3rd eye) around midnight 12-1/2-2019. First of all, “Rose” at the front desk is just a kind person. Friendly, courteous and welcoming. I personally enjoyed talking with her. Then Ben who did the piercing is professional but still friendly of course. He made sure I was comfortable before proceeding. When I’m nervous I ask questions.. he answered them💯. It’s a relaxed atmosphere that will definitely help calm any nerves. It’s a very clean and well kept place. I can’t complain. Everyone’s body is different but for me the dermal is healing beautifully. No signs of it ever being infected and or rejecting. I listened and followed the aftercare as Ben stated and there hasn’t been any issues. I did hit it one time but it was only irritated (red) for a day. I’ve shared a picture that I took a week ago so anyone can see how well it is healing and how accurate he is in the placement. Regardless of what type of piercings I get, I definitely will be coming back here.

Aaron pierced my navel for me today, and I am so happy with the procedure and results! I decided on Biolab after reading reviews on Google and Yelp, and I'm so glad I went through this studio! The piercing room was extremely clean. He cleaned the jewelry in front of me, and all the tools used were single-use sterile tools. Aaron double checked the piercing markers with me, and made sure I was comfortable during the whole procedure. He was as gentle as possible and guided me through it very professionally. He answered all my questions and gave me thorough instructions to help it heal and for appropriate aftercare. I got my nose pierced in December at a different shop and ended up with an irritation bump. No matter what I did and trust me I tried almost everything there was to try it was relentless and wouldn’t go away. Well I finally decided to go get it looked at and I found Biolab with a search near me. First of all they are clean and very professional. I was greeted and asked what I needed. The lady I saw was Alexis. She look and confirmed it was an irritation bump and poor quality jewelry. I got it swapped out and was on my way. Well two days later the nose ring has sank into the hole and there was a scab coving it. I called and spoke with the receptionist and she told me to come back in and someone would take a look. I asked if I was going to have to pay and she assured me I wouldn’t. Ben took a look and confirmed my nose needed to heal more before the smaller stud was put in. He removed it and fitted me with a new bigger stud. He didn’t charge me and gave me the smaller one he had removed and told me to come back when I was healed and get it swapped out if I wanted to. He also let me know if I had anymore issues they were there to help. I bought the soap from them instead of purchasing in a store and have been following their cleaning directions every day. It’s been 4 days and the bump is almost completely gone. I would recommend their services and will use them is I decide to get anymore piercings.

Ben is seriously amazing. I had piercings done here and he (along with everyone else) was fantastic, clean and professional. I had to go back for some adjustments to my jewelry (due to pregnancy) and to have some questions answered about jewelry options going forward as things progress. The experience left nothing to be desired- Ben was again very professional, thorough, helpful and pleasant. I don’t have plans for piercings in the immediate future, but I know where to go when I’m ready and who I can count on!

Ben did phenomenally piercing my septum, vertical lip, smiley, nipples, and tapering my snakebites. Alexis did fantastically piercing my nostrils and re-piercing my smiley. They both accounted for the slight asymmetry of my facial features to make the piercings look as symmetrical as possible. I will never go anywhere else to be pierced. Lovely place. Took about 30 minutes from start to finish. Would definitely recommend. Edited: I have gone several more times since posting this. Each experience is lovely. The shop is very clean. Staff is also lovely and helpful. I believe the best time to go is midday during the week. Going in the evening closer to the weekends can take a bit. Pricing is fair since it does include jewelry as well. My suggestion for aftercare is take the dial route and go to walgreens for a bigger bottle. Do keep in mind that parking can be a bit difficult at times. I love the work done and will keep going back until I am satisfied with the amount of piercing I have.

Went for a eyebrow piercing, they follow Covid protocol, very clean and friendly staff, knowledgeable, and very good pricing. What really bought me overall was my experience with them 4 days after getting my piercing, I had to remove it due to taking a picture to renew a document, I went back to see if they could insert it back, not only did they re insert the piercing, the artist was super cool about it, didn’t make it difficult nor painful. I felt super comfortable and trusted her to pierce my face 😂. The whole experience was only 10-15 minutes but I enjoyed every moment of it. The prices were reasonable as well. Got my nostril pierced today. Alexis is great and did just as good a job as the other more experienced piercers. She was honest, knowlegable and incredibly sweet. The staff was great even though the wait was long. If you're coming somewhere in the middle of working hours you should expect a 2 to 3 hour wait because of covid. When I came here before covid, I was in and out in 30 minutes or less so be patient, they're moving things along as quickly as they can, while still providing quality work. We'll see how this piercing heals.

If I could give more stars I would, because I loved this place!!! Ben was my piercer and was very welcoming. I am more of a tattoo person and vowed to never pierce anything. I don’t have a fear of needles, but piercing my skin scared me. I walked in and he made it very comfortable throughout the whole process. It is similar to going to a doctor’s office in there. It’s very clean and he was sure to clean everything and changed his gloves often too. Aaron was my piercer and I have honestly never had such a professional and experienced piercer as this guy. He was very very informative and kind, as well as understanding and honest. He answered all my questions and really helped me feel relaxed because I ramble and shake and get very sick and anxious over things I worry about but by the time the piercing was about to happen I was so calm and prepared. I also have to mention I got a rather sensitive or intense piercing (two of them actually if you catch my drift) that many people wouldn't trust getting done correctly, and even though it obviously didn't feel amazing, he did it so well and made sure I was happy with the placement and everything. You can tell he is very experienced and skilled and knows exactly what he is doing. He is very talented, the shop is very professional and clean. I was a walk-in for a septum piercing, and it went very well. The guy piercing me did it very quickly and was very careful to make sure that his 'guiding line' was in the right place. He went right through the sweet spot, and honestly it didn't hurt at all. I was given a big thing of antimicrobial soap and told to cleanse it often, which I did, and it has healed perfectly! I plan on going back to get help with switching out my jewelry for the first time, which he also told me they could help with. Great place all around!

I went in earlier today to get my nipples pierced. The place was super packed I'm guessing because it was the day after Christmas, but everything went smoothly. I was greeted and told it would be a long wait, no big deal. I checked out the tattoo profiles next door while I was waiting and they had Infinity Wars plays so double pluses for them. Ben did my piercings. He was really professional, fun to talk to, and made the process a little less painful. Like I told him after...I really wanted to hate him for the pain he inflicted upon me but I just couldn't :-). Really great guy! Also the lady up front is amazing and kept that place running very smoothly especially given it was almost at full capacity, standing room only.! I don't plan on getting anymore piercing so I wont be back, but I'll definitely recommend them to others.

BEST piercing studio ever, please go here for any piercings. Have gotten seven piercings there, some by Aaron and some by Ben. Both are absolutely amazing. It's clean (open stuff in front of you), they are both very friendly and helpful, and I felt completely comfortable. I've gotten a piercing somewhere else and almost did at a third place but Biolab wins over all, it's the best. They also are very open to helping you afterwards if you have any questions or need help with your piercing.

I drove 30 min away from home to come to Biolab today. I was so impressed with the organization and the cleanliness in this new Covid world. First, you check in with a QR code and wait in your vehicle until you get a text notification. Once you’re inside, you are directed to the sanitizer and asked to fill out some paperwork. You are then escorted into the piercing area. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable! I didn’t catch the young lady’s name at the front but she was kind and understanding when I explained my situation. I was helped by Ben. I got a piercing last week (at the mall - BIG MISTAKE) where the earrings used were so small they were drowning in my lobe and swollen. Ben was able to fix it for me as painlessly as possible and I was so grateful. I’m writing this review from my parking garage bc the pain I’ve had literally all week is gone!!!! I will be back for future piercings and send ppl there way as well. Thank you guys @ Biolab.

I had my nose pierced a few years ago in India and I was wearing a diamond stud with a long platinum wire that you twist inside your nose. I had no idea how to take it out. The problem was recently the wire piece had sort of half come out. I didn’t know what to do and looked up places that did piercings. This one had great ratings so I stopped by hoping they could help. The gentleman who helped me was so wonderful. He was able to take out the nose pin and put in a new one. He explained everything he was about to do. The new nose pin had a screw on back that’s pretty hard to get on. He was very professional and patient. He answered all my questions, and did an incredible job. He refused to charge me for it because he said his job was to do piercings and this was only a change of accessory. This in-spite of spending quite a bit of time with me. Highly recommend this place.

Accept no inferior product never applied more strongly than when having piercings performed on sensitive parts. The piercing room has a downright medical vibe, and as my experience with Ben showed me they take it serious. You'll see them wipe down and disinfect everything as well as the sterile single use needles in their packets being opened. The symmetry of my piercings is fantastic and healing seems to be on track to a T. Any future holes in my body I intend to take the half hour or so drive to Bio Lab.

I read the comments on line before coming to the studio. I suffer from migraine headaches and wanted the daith to try for some relief. I had been getting Botox injections from my neurologist for the past 5 years. I met with Aaron. He is a great piercer. I was comfortable and confident in his craft. He was very thorough in explaining everything from the steps of piercing and what was necessary to take care of piercing. He was very gentle and the piercing barely hurt; it felt like a pinch and little on pressure. My headache was gone before he finished the second ear. The establishment was very neat and sterile. Got my ears peirced for the first time here! The facility is very serious about keeping things clean and sterile, which is especially appreciated due to ongoing world events. Hand sanitizer is required as soon as you come in, and then your temperature is taken. Paperwork is minimal. Ben was very nice and accommodating. He was efficient, yet still remained homely. He made sure that I was going to be happy with the placements of the peircings and walked me through the cleaning process. I am normally a little bit socially awkward, but I felt so at ease. I already know I'm going to be back for more peircings! (NOTE: If you go on Friday or the Weekend, do know that you will most likely have to wait for an hour or so in your car as these are popular times! Once you actually get in the building, the wait is not long at all!)

When we walked in, the place was very clean and had portfolios displayed with the artist’s work. There was several people already there, first come first serve basis. Ben was professional and polite as he finished up with each guest and was quick and efficient. I got my daith pierced and he actually asked if it was for looks or for headaches. For me, I walked in with a migraine so it was for headaches. He was knowledgeable about which way he would need to pierce my ear to be effective. As he took us back to the room, it was set up like a doctors office. He showed me the jewelry to make sure I was okay with it, then he cleaned EVERYTHING. Washed his hands and put gloves on, cleaned the jewelry, the topper, pulled all the clean tools out, set up everything very precise, set up the jewelry, changed his gloves again to clean my ear. He was talking and laughing all throughout the time, very friendly and kind person. Then he laid me down and did the piercing. He made sure I breathed and walked me through the whole thing. It wasn’t as painful as I expected and he was very quick, and gentle. Afterward, he walked me through how to clean it and gave me a printout also. He cares about the people he pierces and takes it seriously and is genuinely interested in the results. Hands down the best piercing experience I’ve ever had and I’ve had a lot. Not your average piercing place. I would recommend this place to everyone I know. Thank you Ben! And to also mention, my headache was gone instantly. 🤗

I was MORE than pleased with my visit to this studio. Well, I went to get my first nipple piercings with my girls and I was completely terrified and overthinking what the pain would feel like and so forth. I’ve had bad experiences with piercings and studios before but this one was by far by BEST experience. Ben was my piercer and he did an absolute amazing job. He made sure I was comfortable and walked me through the steps and he cleaned/laid everything out in a neat manner. When I’m scared I have a big problem with my breathing, so when it was time for the piercing part, I was breathing WAY to fast but Ben helped me slow my breathing down and helped me get comfortable all over again, and counted down with me when it was time. After, he gave me a paper with some aftercare instructions and walked me through the cleaning process and healing time. I absolutely recommend this place to anyone seeking!

Edit: After posting my review the business owner reached out and offered his apologies and that the receptionist had been let go. We arranged to come back today for my daughter to have her nose pierced. The receptionist this morning (I unfortunately forgot to ask her name) was very nice even though she wasn't aware we were the family from the evening before until the end of the appointment so, she was a great receptionist and not acting a certain way for our benefit. Ben did her piercing. He was warm and funny but also thorough and great at educating my daughter on how to care for her nose ring. I very much appreciate Johnny's care for his customers and his diligence in having employees that meet his standards of excellence. Y'all are aces in my book! I am sure the piercing professionals are amazing here but we wouldn't know because the little girl at the front desk clearly has a certain type of person she sees as being worthy of being there and not. My daughter merely wanted her nostril pierced and we put her name on the list. The receptionist said, "We have a little wait." I replied that this was no problem and I would be happy to fill out the paperwork while we waited. She threw her hands in the air and yelled, "GOOOOOOOD if I gave paperwork to everyone when they came in, I would have paperwork everywhere!!!! I will let you KNOW when you can fill out the paperwork." Well, since there were only 5-6 people in the place, I became concerned because if that was going to cause a paperwork catastrophe then there is a serious flaw in the system. However, we were already there so we patiently began to wait for over two hours. When my daughter went to check where she was on the list, she was told she had been scratched off because this unprofessional receptionist said she didn't see her. Didn't see her? She had a 10-minute conversation with my daughter on her smoke break about her roll over car accident. I'm really sure she saw her. I'm also really sure she was nice to everyone who looked like her and not like us. IN FACT, a group of sorority girls came in and received a VERY similar treatment to ours but no one else did. Hmmmmm......really interesting. I guess you should post that only certain people can receive piercings at your establishment and if you are too middle class looking then you will be treated rudely and disrespectfully. Thanks for the waste of 2 hours and making my daughter sad on her birthday. Y'all are awesomesauce. PS - this is actually my first bad review on google ever. Congratulations.

I honestly don’t know what I would do without this place. After getting my belly pierced at another shop, I went the first time and spoke with Ben about a possible infection he helped me so much and I got it clear. Sadly, 2 months after I thought my piercing was rejecting and I went over and spoke with Aaron. He took it out, cleaned the area, and spoke with me about possible reasons why it rejected and after care and offered to see if they can pierce again after it’s healed. This place is the besssst. I've been here twice to get the balls on my earrings replaced. I needed about 3 or 4 and 1 new earring. I ended up with 4 new earrings just because he had a great selection. The piercer is very friendly, and didnt even charge me to replace a ball the second time. The receptionist is friendly too, and the lobby is incredibly clean. You can tell they take their sanitation seriously and dont mess around when it comes to clean, professional environment.

I went in to get my snakebites, and was met with Aaron, who was immediately, helpful, and incredibly kind. He helped me look through the options of piercings, and talked me through the sizes of rings, and gauges. Once we got back into the actual piercing space, he was unbelievably professional as he explained every step to me while doing it. He opened every tool as he needed right in front of me, to ensure that I could see they were clean. He answered every question asked, not only in depth, but pausing to use laymen's terms when necessary. During the actual piercing, he moved quickly and efficiently, obviously comfortable in his actions. After each lip piercing he asked me more than once if I felt all right, if I was dizzy, and ensured that the rings were comfortable and felt right. I have never in my life been so comfortable and pleased with a piercing experience, and will without a doubt be coming back.

This place and Texas Body Art are connected, and still unique. Had been looking for a piercing shop to have a piercing looked at. They not only were open when I could make it out there, but they were great with assistance in having the piercing looked at and letting me know the best way to reduce the issues I'd been having with it. If you are getting a piercing done in Houston, get it done here! I had a bad experience with a cartilage piercing from another Studio and the piercer here was so helpful. They are the only a APA certified studio in the Houston area and do a great job. The guy there has been piercing for a long time and really knows his stuff.

I’ve been considering a daith piercing for about 6 months to ease my migraines. I had already decided I would go to BioLab after reading their reviews, but kept putting it off. After having three migraines in the last two weeks, while on vacation, I decided it was time. This morning I woke up with the start of yet another migraine, so today, I pulled the trigger. From the moment I walked through the door, Aaron put me at ease. He is kind, knowledgeable, professional, and just awesome. As soon as he inserted the needle, there was a whooshing sound as my migraine disappeared. I walked in with a migraine and walked out with a cute piercing and no headache. Definitely worth the drive and the money. I cannot recommend the daith piercing enough. And if you are going to have it done, you may as well have Aaron do it, so you can have it done by the best!

Got my daith piercing done here in July of 2018. Ben was amazing! Made me feel comfortable about the whole experience. My piercing healed beautifully following his instructions. My migraines, while not completely eliminated, come few and far in between. For anyone thinking about the daith, Biolab is it. I used to get severe migraines once a week, each lasting 3 days and causing nausea, vomiting and blurred vision. That was with medication. After the daith, I had no migraines for the first 3 months and now they come occassionally, every couple months and last for a day, unmedicated, without the other symptoms. Hopefully my review helps someone else change their life like I did!

He walked me through the steps, explained what he was doing (and probably most importantly - why he was doing them), and listened to me. We talked, talked of do's and do not's... and so forth. I have never been to a piercing studio. Even stepping into one, in broad daylight, when no one else was seemingly around - was a terrifying thought. In the end, I left feeling comfortable.
