Get a tattoo in Kailua! We are in Hawaii and my sister decided she wanted a tattoo. We called to see if we needed to make an appointment and they said no come on in. We got to the shop and they greeted us immediately. Its a really cool spot and the people were friendly. Since this was her first tattoo she was a little nervous. The artist was nice and designed a cute tattoo that she loved. This would definitely be a shop we would go back to as they were professional and super cool.

Tim Goodrich Is an amazing tattoo artist, and also professional piercer. He Does some piercings that others places won't even do because hes that talented I have come to him for at least 6 to 7 different piercings some have fallen out some have stayed in but my interaction with Tim has always been extremely positive And kind. I've also been tattooed by him at least 3 times and I have probably another 3 tattoos that were done by his father Larry, Years ago. If something goes wrong with a piercing Tim is always able to fix it And hes always very fair when it comes to pricing

I got piercings here a few years ago when I was freshly 18. I want to start off by saying that the staff is very friendly and I remember them being accommodating and kind. However, I do regret coming here and wish my younger self had done more research first. I wanted to get three helix piercings, and I wanted rings. I think that it was very irresponsible for this shop to tell me ok and not even give me a single warning or try to persuade me out of this. While it is important for customers to be aware, I think it is also part of a piercer’s responsibility to educate their clients (especially young ones). They also pierced all that cartilage with a gun, which there is NO excuse for. I didn’t know this at the time, but cartilage guns are known to shatter cartilage and are not even allowed where I currently live (on the mainland). The issue with my jewelry request was that the healing was far more painful than it ever needed to be. I ended up taking out one of the double helix and I finally got some pain and swelling relief after a year or so of trying to tough it out. The rings were constantly aggravating an already difficult piercing location, and I’ve since learned how bad they are for healing (most of the time, at least). I don’t understand why the piercer and assistant did this without questioning me or helping me make better decisions, and I really hope that this is not a repeated behavior with the current staff. I do not wish any ill will upon Aloha Tattoos, especially if they’ve since changed their practices. While I have mostly negative feelings, I do have several friends who have all had great experiences here and enjoy the tattoos they’ve gotten.

Aloha Tattoo Co was an awesome experience. We stopped by for an impromptu tat on our way to the beach. My wife and I got matching Turtles with each other's initials in them and the artists were nice, friendly, and quick with the ink. All this for a reasonable price.

The piercing lady, I think her name is alex. She was very professional, friendly, patient and kind and very knowledgeable. I appreciate her business and enjoyed my experience at the shop. Definitely recommended if needing a piercing. Hope to come back some day.

Awesome place to get work done. I've going here since 2009 and its only gotten better. Definitely recommend stopping by and seeing Tim for great work. Update: It’s been two years since my last visit and Aloha Tattoo is still killing it! Came in as a walk-in and got an amazing piece done with far better quality than I expected. I cannot stress that if you’re looking to get quality work done, this is the shop.

I got my cartilege piercing done over a year ago, and the piercing kept getting irritated due to the length of the earring that was used to pierce my ear. Originally, I went in take out my piercing, but changed my mind. Tim was very friendly and professional. He changed my piercing to a cuter and shorter earring (very very affordable btw) that will not irritate me as much. Such a great experience!

I got my septum pierced by another shop. They used too big of jewelry and it was started to irritate me. After getting no reply from them to fix it, I went to Tim. He was so kind and professional. He changed out my jewelry for something smaller and made me feel comfortable. Will definitely be going back here for all of my piercings and tattoos. Can’t recommend him enough!

Went in looking for a local artist who could do a sentimental Tribal Hammerhead, and found Gabi. Not only is she an amazing artist, but her personality is stellar. I typically don’t do this. However, when you get something permanent, and the person that does it for you does an amazing job, you take the time to leave them a review. Tim is an awesome artist and gave me exactly what I wanted. And the pricing was very reasonable. Totally worth it

Edited because I was harsh before: Walked in once, walked out. Every Marine Corps base has that one shop nearby. That being said, what I saw seemed average. If you're looking to get something Marine Corps related you'll probably do fine here. The owner is passionate and cares about his shop and clients. 🤙

Where it all started, this place is the real deal. You can get it all here great American traditional, authentic Polly tribal, good vibes and great people. This is what you want in a tattoo shop , I'm a tattoo artist and I did 2 work trips to there location near Waikiki and had the chance to come into this shop to met the crew. They won't let you down, they have my vote.

Tim is the sweetest, I was very shy but Tim is very welcoming and friendly. He was very patient and helped me choose a tattoo. I love koi fishes and he showed me what he had drew and I chose one of his work pieces and we got started. His staff are also very nice and happy. My friend and Tim decided on where to place the koi fish and I love the placement :) The Koi fish tattoo came out amazing and beautiful I am so happy. My koi fish still needs to be finished and I will be back to add on flowers and shading. Thank you so much Tim ! I love my koi fish a lot and cannot wait to finish up ~ Tim is The Best Tattoo Artist you will ever meet 😊💖
