I send everybody here my sister myself and my kids have gotten tattoos and piercings. Dave did my tattoo and was very gentle and meticulous as well as patient. My finer tattoos haven’t even faded and it’s been over a year. Tom pierced my kids nose and ears and was extra informative took away the nervousness made it fun and just an all around clean safe place. Full of talented skilled people

Me and my girlfriend went there twice and both time the experience was great. They all love to have fun, but also get you done. Dave the tattoo guy did a really good job on mine and her tattoos. It is a great experience with them.

Everyone working there was very nice , and helpful. While waiting for my appointment a customer came in and didn't know exactly what they wanted , the Tattoo Artist didn't push them to anything they Listened to clients and clients came back for the work. I will definitely be coming back to them for more work. They love their job.

Great work, Fast, clean, friendly and responsive! On my only day off I started calling looking for a walk in to get a tattoo. I called maybe 10 places nearest to me at the time and none of them answered or weren't excepting walk ins. As the day is wasting away i start to loose hope that ill be able to get one that day until my sister suggested pain 4 sale. So I called and got someone on the phone right away that agreed to help. When I got there everyone was really cool, Gator was the artist that worked on my tattoo and he did excellent. I got my sons name on my arm and I absolutely love it and will cherish it always. Thank you Gator and pain 4 sale for saving the day

Tatt was done by gator turned out so horrible. The owner reached out admitted it was a horrible job and said he'd make it right long story short my phone calls haven't been returned mesgs ignored. I'm angry I feel robbed in a way & now I'm left with the worst tattoo ever. So unprofessional zero stars from me. My advice is don't go there unless u want a botched tattoo & unprofessional service. UPDATE: Now I went back and changed my review on this place! The guy that did my original tattoo no longer works there & let me just say mag is a great woman and a bomb artist! She didn't even do the mess of a tattoo I had but she took me in anyways and made everything right! Not only did she do the best she could to fix the really botched beauty tattoo I had gotten by "gator" with a wing & birds with a pop of color she also gave me a the original beauty tattoo on my other arm the way it was supposed to be the exact way I wanted it & She didn't even charge me a thing even tho she wasn't the one who botched me to begin with. That shows how much this place and the new workers value customers that go here! I highly recommend mag she was amazing I felt so comfortable and relaxed the whole time she did a great job! Changed my 1 star to a 5! Highly recommend mag!

After doing a great deal of research on local piercing shops, I decided to go with Pain For Sale, and I am tremendously grateful that I did. I was greeted from the moment that I walked in the door. I was pleased to see that the shop was clean, tidy and well organized. Tom did a tremendous job of explaining the the process of the piercing. He went the extra mile to ensure the piercing would be in just the right place, and made sure I was happy with the placement. I was also pleased to see that all equipment packages were opened in front of me, and that cleanliness was of the utmost importance to Tom. I am extremely happy with my experience, and would recommend Tom for all your piercing needs.

I have wanted to get a sleeve for a while now. I have been putting together thoughts of what I wanted to incorporate in it. I wanted it to have meaning and flow together just right. I let Gator know what I was looking for and together we put together the pieces. This man is talented! Amazing experience from the beginning to the end of the process. I could not have dreamed of the outcome of what were hours ago just multiple pieces, that I KNEW I wanted but not sure how to explain exactly what I was thinking and not sure if I was trying to input too much. You listened to exactly what I was looking for and put it together better than I was ever even envisioning!!! I am amazed! Gator you are so talented and you have a forever client, I will never allow anyone to do tattoos on me from here. Thank you doesn’t seem to be enough. I can’t wait to see how the rest of the sleeve pulls together with this almost half sleeve that I have now. 💕 I wanted to incorporate my brother that passed away when I was 13 I knew that, never imaging being able to incorporate him in so many ways. Came for a tat today but I didn’t get one. Stood at the counter for 20 minutes and no one came to it, call the phone to get someone’s attention - no one answered, l sat in the parking lot for another 10 minutes to see if someone would come to the desk; nope. Rating it a 5 only because of the cleanliness - I think that is very important when getting a tattoo. The shop smells good and is very organized. Good thing I’m an honest person, having the desk unattended for that long of time can be dangerous.

I went in to get a nose hoop changed to a stud, and Tom hooked me up with an adorable stud. He explained to me why my piercing (done by some one else) had healed properly. His jewelry is real titanium. He took the time to sanitize everything. He was super cool, I'm definitely going back to him for future piecing! Thabks Tom!

I got my nose pierced as well from angel and he did it quick and I was in and out for my nose piercing. Will definitely go back to get more piercings and tattoos. Couldn’t be happier with them

This place made you feel comfortable. It was sterile, organized and clean. I had my Lip Pierced by Angel. He was very informative before each step, which helped a lot! Only thing... My lip stud ended up unscrewing and came out. Luckily I felt it, but lost the stud. I had to put another ring in. Still sore and my lip is swelled but doing good. Leaving it alone and letting the healing process do it's job now. But nonetheless very awesome service.

I got my Medusa pierced, and it was nearly painless. It the past when I had gotten it done elsewhere it was such a painful experience I told myself I’d never get it re pierced. Spend the money to go to piercers who know exactly what they’re doing opposed to going somewhere that will pierce you for $15. I’ll be coming back for all future piercings

Scott was amazing. My wife and I live past Rockford and we went to GR specifically to get tattoos. Nobody else would do a consult that day but Scott took the time to create mine and my wife's tattoos from a couple of photos we'd given him because he didn't want us to go home without at least a quote since we live almost a half hour away. He created great tattoos for me and my wife and worked well past close to get us our tattoos. I highly recommend PFS2 and definitely Scott for your 1st or next tattoo. I can't enough about the awesome job he did and he had us laughing the whole time we were there.

My second experience at Pain for Sale and I could never say enough great things. My first was a tattoo by Christian about a month ago and it's so beautiful. The shop is extremely clean and the staff is so welcoming and friendly. I was nothing but impressed. This experience was a little different. Weeks before my great experience with Christian at Pain for Sale, I got a piercing at another reputable shop in GR. The piercing was healing well, but the shop had pierced with the wrong kind of jewelry. The jewelry had migrated into the piercing and the ball on one side of the barbell had gotten stuck inside the piercing, causing a great amount of pain. I was embarrassed walking in, but Tom graciously helped get the barbell unstuck ad re-pierced the closed end. The owner, John, was also invested in taking care of me and making sure that things were set right. The two were nothing but patient, kind, and helpful in making sure I was as comfortable as possible and in making sure that I had the right kind of jewelry and cleaner to ensure that I healed properly this time. Soooo many thanks to Pain For Sale for making what could have been a horrible situation extremely positive. You've definitely got a life-long customer in me.

I am soooooo in LOVE with the art I got done yesterday! Chrysanthemums and Lilys, my children's birth flowers to complete my half sleeve. After 9 hours, Tom beasted it out! It wasn't even what his original idea was..he exceeded beyond my expectations! He is super creative, detailed, and not to mention AMAZING at what he does. I'll go nowhere else, ever!
