Pudge was the miracle worker I needed to help recover a horrible tattoo I received from an artist on the west coast. He really brought the heat (literally) with this beautiful sun tattoo! He had a super gentle hand and it was a very quick and easy process for him to figure out the proper cover up and for him to execute it beautifully! Preciate you Pudge! When I walked in it was super clean and the receptionist was very polite. Spot has a chill vibe. Went in to get my belly pierced he had everything laid out , sterilized and ready. He noticed it was still open and literally just put a new belly ring in and gave 50% off . Definitely coming back to get more piercings

I’ve gotten most of my tattoos done here, and now that I’ve found it, it’s the only place I’ll go!! Shaun at the front always has the biggest smile when I walk in with my sister. All the artists are extremely talented, so I’m never worried about who does my work. Jane is the sweetest and has worked with me on my last few tattoos. I will never stop recommending this place

I made an appointment with Lyric and had dm’d him on instagram before my visit. To my surprise he had a drawing of what I wanted ready for me when I walked in the next day. I told him I wanted a few extra things added to it but that if he can’t do it because of my budget, that’s fine. He said don’t worry I got you, and gave me exactly what I wanted and stuck to my budget. I won’t lie, the design I wanted was sort of silly, but he told me he liked it and was excited to work on it. That made me feel really good about what I was about to have permanently placed on my body(this is my first tattoo). Overall I had a great experience with this shop and would recommend it to anyone. They have some really talented artists and their front end employees are enjoyable people. I found it on a list of best tattoo shops in Atlanta and was not disappointed.

Got my tattoo done here a few days ago and it was definitely the right choice! I was nervous because it was only my second tattoo, but Choze was so great and put me right at ease! He has a sharp attention to detail and took the time to make sure my stipple tattoo was high quality. Will definitely be coming back, Choze and Iron Palm have earned a loyal client.

Jane was fantastic! We discussed the idea beforehand and made a few suggestions on how to make my tattoo the best it could be. She worked with me to make sure that the most important parts of the tattoo were aesthetically pleasing and as close as to my original design as possible. I will try to go back after it’s healed bc I did notice we forgot to cross the t (lol) but the tattoo is so great no one else notices

I’m visiting Atlanta for the summer and wanted to bring back some ink from a local shop. Iron Palm was perfect. First, there’s a Kaepernick mural on the side of the building - so I was sold right away. While I waited, I sat outside of the shop with a group of friends/artists/locals that grew as the night went on. People kept coming by to chat. It was a great way to pass the time until my design was finished. And then the actual tattoo itself came out great. The design (by Sketch) was great, the actually tattooing went smoothly, the instruments were clean, and the music set the perfect mood. My only negative note is that you’ll have to pay for parking across the street. There’s nothing nearby, and the lot requires payment 24/7 ($10).

Overall experience was good. The team of artist are very laid back and cool. My initial interaction through email inquiry was very informative. However, I never really knew who I was speaking with. I wanted to schedule an appointment with Outlaw but that never happened. I showed up at time I was told he would be there and he wasn't in for another 2 hours. Long story short Binks and piercing guy took care of me. Very friendly and professional. Only request is that they do make it a habit of offering aftercare for tattoos. Otherwise I will be back. Almost 2 weeks later

Ehh, went to get my first ever tattoo here. the atmosphere was amazing and welcoming but the person doing my tattoo was okay. I wish I got his name tbh, but i have a very low pain tolerance and was screaming in the wide open space. I wish he told me when he was starting and give me a little tester but he didn’t. he didn’t even tell me any aftercare. wish it was better in that aspect but anyways.

Dude worked with me for around an hour an half to come up with an idea and a completely new/unique sketch from scratch. After a 3 hour sesh, I was left w a beautiful piece. Amazing first tatt. Visiting ATL, my best friend and I decided on a whim to get piercings. I got my nose pierced, best friend got her septum. New Jack pierced us both, he is awesome. Very sweet, very patient, and gave good aftercare instructions. I have a total of 10 piercings and out of all the piercer’s I’ve gone to—he is by far the best. He also re-pierced my forward helix for free, which was really nice of him. I definitely recommend going here if you want to get a piercing.

I went in for a nose piercing & I was so nervous! I can’t remember the name of the guy who did my service for me, but he was really nice! This is my first piercing, so I really wanted my friend to come back with me but they said no, which is fine. He still made me feel super comfortable! Only thing I’ll say is that the guy at the front desk who encountered us before my piercer was very short with me & rude. Also, I had to ask my piercer for aftercare instructions. He did provide them, so it all worked out in the end. I’m just glad I thought to ask lol. My friend who is familiar with piercings was confused by the aftercare instructions though so I’m a little nervous, but I guess we’ll see what happens! Overall, very quick, clean & not as painful as I thought it would be!

Two days ago I had the BEST experience at this shop . Clean environment with great energy everyone was so nice and genuine; the owner is absolutely amazing and runs a great shop . Most importantly though my artist was AMAZING . Ironpalm_pudge was so professional, down to earth and very knowledgeable about his craft . He was very receptive when I approach him with my idea but also wasn’t afraid to tell me what would work best so that I would get the best tattoo . He knows what will look good and its very easy to trust him because you can tell he is so experienced and educated when it comes to his work . I knew I was in great hands the moment we started talking about my idea . He’s great with placement and made the tattoo better then what I could have ever expected. You can honestly tell he takes pride in what he does no matter if it’s big or small he will make it the best. I was also blown away by him because he’s a true artist ( which is hard to find ) I saw him draw my idea up from scratch after I just told him a basic idea he brought what I wanted to life . I decided to get some script on my ribs and I can honestly say it was a very pleasant experience. I have several tattoos and my left side of my ribs are already done and after that experience I was expecting so much pain but when ironpalm_pudge started on my right ribs I was honestly overwhelmed with excitement I BARELY Felt ANYTHING ! I was able to sit there comfortably and get the tattoo of my dreams . No drama no tears just pure enjoyment which I think says a lot when getting a rib tattoo . He obviously has been doing this for years and years and has mastered his craft The skill and cleanliness of his work blew me away and for that reason I will no longer trust anyone else to tattoo me . After you get work done by this man I can guarantee you will be a life long customer . I already have other projects planned with him and I can not wait to experience the quality and talent of this man again . If I could give him 10 stars I would . I decided to reach out to Charity because I love her work, specifically because she knows how to tattoo color on brown skin well. Charity is awesome, she took the time to help create a custom tattoo. The day of my appointment I was nervous at first but the shop was very welcoming. During the session I was relaxed and once it was over my expectations were exceeded. The color came out beautiful and I am highly satisfied and have referred a few friends. I’ll definitely be back!

I recently visited from out of town, it was later in the evening around 11pm and I wanted to do something to remember my time in Atlanta, so I decided to get tattooed! I came across the Iron Palm and let-me-tell-you it was one of the best customer experiences I’ve ever had. We were greeted by a gentleman at the reception counter, I believe his name was Shaun. I was quickly directed to a artist by the name of Jane but was having a little difficulty explaining exactly what I wanted. She was very patient and helped me come up with an idea- Shaun even threw in ideas. After much thought, I decided on something cute and modern. 15 minutes later I was beyond pleased with how it came out. I’ve gotten two tattoos previous to this one in my hometown (chicago were most tattoo parlors require $150-$200 minimum for tattoos smaller than the one I got) neither of those tattoo experiences was as “inexpensive” or customer forward like this shop. I will definitely be visiting this shop again, you can't beat their prices and overall vibes. Thanks again Jane and Iron palm!

I came in with a picture of Hogwarts and he drew a much better sketch.The prices were very reasonable for the amount of talent that goes into these tattoos. A friend and I were visiting the city from out of town, and just wanted to do something fun. we came across the iron palm shop and it had to be the best experience we had our whole trip. When we arrived the guy at the front desk was awesome from the start, and made us feel like we were at home the entire time! I decided to get a tattoo and then I was introduced to Funk who helped me pick out how I wanted it and how to make it my own. I was a little nervous at first but the atmosphere was so friendly and fun I all my nerves went away. not only was I satisfied with my tattoo I was satisfied with my service, so satisfied we went back a second time. If you're ever in the city I highly recommend the shop you won't regret it!!! (and while your there be sure to ask about the empanadas you won't regret that either!)

In all honesty, reading reviews about this place made me picture a much nicer shop than what I walked into. The place is pretty dingy externally, but we were quickly greeted by kind staff and signed in immediately for a walk-in appointment. I went to iron palm for a quick body piercing and their piercer, Sketch, took great care of my friends and I during the short process. He did amazing at making sure I was comfortable and safe during my piercing, maintaining professionalism, and creating a completely clean and sterile environment. Great place overall, though a change to the external appearance and care of their building would make an immense difference in their business!

Got a daith piercing with New Jac after reading several good reviews about him. He was funny and definitely helped settle my nerves. I really felt like he took all the time I needed to answer all my questions and discuss my concerns about jewelry, healing time, and cleaning. After a bad previous piercing experience in the past I was pretty nervous, but New Jac took great care of me! I would absolutely go back to him for future piercings. The pain was easily tolerable and he was done in a flash. The place overall felt clean and the piercing room was very clean and quiet. Everyone seemed pretty happy and chill. Easy parking right across the road too!

Visited Iron Palm a month ago as a walk-in with some ideas and photos I liked from different Iron Palm artists’ instas. After waiting for only about 45 minutes until he was free, I was able to speak with Tupicalo who had done some beautiful work in the same style wanted. He was considerate of my ideas and seemed excited to work with me. He drew some incredible custom work for me and I came in and got the tattoo done the next day. The tattoo turned out beautifully and a month later is looking more perfect than ever. Enjoyed talking to Sean at the front desk as well, he is a sweet soul. Went to Iron Palm for piercings after reading good reviews. Sketch was real cool and did a great job with my piercings. He listened to my concerns, answered my questions, picked the right length barbells(that has def been an issue in the past with other piercers) made sure i was happy with the markers before he pierced and asked if i was satisfied when it was done. Not to mention it was quick! I waited a month to write my review because i wanted to see how everything healed first and i must say, they look great and i haven’t had any issues with healing. Definitely pricier than other shops in the area but worth it in my opinion. Will be back for more piercings and i hope i have the same dope experience.

The staff was friendly and efficient. The whole process took less than 15 minutes. The piercing itself was virtually painless and super quick! One of my friends went to Iron Palm Tattoos and had a great experience not to mention her tattoo was awesome and very detail oriented so I decided to try them out after having had some bad experience with some of the popular local tattoo businesses in Atlanta. I call a day before and explained what I wanted done and the artirst Marlon was very professional and helpful over the phone. When I arrived for my appointment I was greeted by a nice young lady and she introduced me to Marlon in person. Before, during and after my tattoos were done, he was very attentive and even gave some of the best advice a tattoo artist have ever given me. Mind you I have 14 tattoos so that is 14 times i had to go to a tatto shop and since I've been to Iron Palm tattoos I haven't gone anywhere else and Marlon have done 3 of those 14 tats. I walked in and was taken care of immediately and the atmosphere was laid back and not overbearing at all. They asked me if I needed a few minutes to think of what I want or if I already knew. I told them I already knew, showed them a few pictures of what I wanted and Mo sat with me and started drawing up some ideas. I picked the designs and waited for abit as there were people ahead. (not too long, about 30 mins or so) it was my first time getting tattoos and I asked all the usual questions (does it hurt, what to expect during the process, etc.) Mo made sure to answer all my questions and he kept it real with my about the pain.(It didn't hurt that bad) I loved how the tattoos came out and he explained the healing process and gave me a little card with instructions. Even after I left I called back with a question and they didn't hesitate to answer it. It only cost 120 for the tattoos (which I've been told was a good price) and I gave a tip plus the after care ointment it came to around 150. Completely hit the price I was looking for. I was satisfied with the experience enough that I told Mo I would recommend all my friends and family here so much so that I brought my brother here the very next night. I'll be coming here for sure for any of my future tattoos, in fact I do plan to come back to watercolor the lotus flower. As someone who does custom work myself (lens etching for headlights, etc) I am kind of a hard ass when it comes to quality as I try to provide the highest quality to my customers. I can honestly say the experience I received at Iron Palm is the quality I try to provide for my customers. Keep up the good work and I'll see you guys sooner than later. P.s. In the photos my skin looks a little irratated not because of the tattoos but because I pulled a rookie move and played outside with my nephews and brushed against some poison ivy but I went to a doc and it'll be fine.

There's limited jewelry options. I got my medusa done here, and they started me off with a tiny piece of jewelry! I had to get it replaced before the disc was embedded in my lip! Just be mindful of the kind of piercings you get here before you take the plunge. Other than that, the customer service was great, and they gave clear instructions.

For the past two month or so, I was having this horrible headache that kept lingering. Believe me when I say I tried EVERYTHING, from 600mg ibprophen to teas, to consulting with my doctor, and nothing worked. A coworker of mine who suffered from migraines came here about two weeks ago to get the Daith piercing to relieve her migraines. So I thought I'd give it a shot because I was becoming helpless. I called the shop to make my appointment and that Saturday I went in to get the piercing. I kid you all not, I've never felt such relief in my life! The minute that piercing went in, my headache just disappeared. I was amazed, still am! Do you know how it feels to be in pain for so long and then that pain is just taking away ??? PHENOMENAL. Sketch was the tattoo artist I encountered at Iron Palm and that man can draw. I saw a few of his sketches and realized how he got his name. So, the reason I went into Iron Palm was to get a 12 gauge plug for my freshly gauged ears because I had managed to already lose one. I was planning on maybe buying one just so the whole wouldn't begin to close up, because I only had 7 dollars on me. Sketch said not to worry about the 7 dollars, gave me a matching set of plugs and sterilized them and made sure they fit in my gauged ears and were secure. Thanks Sketch! You reminded me there are still good and decent people out there. I recommend anyone looking for a new tattoo or piercing to go into Iron Palm and see what they are all about.

Me and my BFF came to Atlanta for a few days and decided to get tattoos at the last minute but we weren't sure if we could find a shop open on a Sunday night. I googled tattoo shops in downtown ATL and most of them were closed so I started calling the ones that were listed as open. I got a disconnected number on the first one, a wrong number on the second one, and then got Iron Palm on the third one (they say 3rd time's a charm!). They were super friendly on the phone and thought it was later at night than it was but were willing to stay open a few minutes later if we wanted to come. So we headed to them. We got there and everyone was welcoming and friendly, we had a good time chatting and laughing with everyone. We felt right at home the moment we stepped in the door. We had a basic idea of what we wanted but took a few to sit and finalize our idea, the guys were helpful and patient while we wrapped it up. We picked our design, Damien drew it up and we loved it and were ready to get inked! Damien did mine and Pudge did hers. They were super awesome to work with and they did an AMAZING job, we were both incredibly happy with our tats, they were everything! If we're back in the ATL and want more tats, guess where we'll be! Thanks so much guys, we've gotten compliments on our tats every since, they're beautiful and perfect!

I have been getting tattoos by the artist J.R since he was at a shop on the south side, when he relocated I decided to follow him to his current shop at "iron Palm tattoos" I got a leg piece done last night and I must say my tattoo experience was the best I've had out of any shop I've ever went to, they are very respectful courteous and professional, as I got towards the end of my tattoo I began to get aggitated however the fellas were very patient with me the gentleman by the name of marlon did whatever he could to make me comfortable so that I didn't quit on my tattoo, he sat down next to me and talked to me and calmed me down, gave me a hand to squeeze, if it wasn't for him I probably would've tapped out last night.. Everyone is awesome I would def be back to see them and most def wouldn't send anybody anywhere else other than to the infamous "IRON PALM TATTOOS" thank you fellas for your wonderful hospitality and patients you guys are "AWSOME "in the words of marlon
