They broke the mold with Billy. He's unbelievably talented and helped make my first tattoo experience better than I ever could have imagined. He did a tribute piece for my late father, knocked it out of the park! His skill is second to none! I can't wait to get back and finish this upper sleeve and then start planning more for the future!

I brought my son here to get his first tattoo. We traveled all the way from MN to have Billy design and execute the work and it turned out perfectly. The shop is so clean and bright and welcoming. I would recommend it to anyone who wants their tattoo to be a genuine piece of art.

Brooke was my tattoo artist and I must say not only did she do an amazing job, but she was by far one of the nicest humans I’ve ever met! ❤️

Very professional, clean tattoo shop. My fiancé has had work done by both Anthony and Austin, I have had work done by Austin, and both artists are incredibly talented. The vibe is super chill and relaxing with big windows to see life going on outside.

Billy is awesome we just started my sleeve today and I do believe I will be a walking canvas for him. He is very professional, does beautiful work, he listens, and is straight forward. Of course it’s a tattoo so it’s not the most comfortable thing but he made it enjoyable with light hands and moving around instead of grinding down on one area at a time and he carry’s great conversations that help with the whole experience. I will never go to any other tattooist again. Heron Mark tattoo is where it’s at!!!!

Billy is AMAZING!! I needed an artist to finish a sleeve that was long overdue to complete. I prefer greyscale and detail because it is a Victorian London piece with several beautiful landmarks. He tied into the original work seamlessly and the detail is second to none. He collaborates with his clients and listens to their ideas. I have had two sessions already and cannot wait for the third!!

My friend and I both got tattoos with Anthony, we really appreciated him working with us and how much he cared about the appearance, feeling/meaning, and longevity of the tattoo. Not only were we more than happy with our tattoos, we were really glad that he was part of the experience. He really cares about the design and the person, and we had a great time with him. The studio is clean and comfortable, and decorated with the work of the talented artists there. We also met Chris and Billy and enjoyed their presence and conversation, the environment they have created is very relaxed, collaborative, and welcoming.

I had an amazing experience at Heron Mark. I brought an idea that was, at best, half-baked to Anthony Pulitano, and he turned it into an absolutely beautiful piece that was not only wonderful aesthetically, but that fit perfectly with the shape and movement of my arm. Watching him develop the conception and design was watching an artist work. Additionally, the shop is super relaxing and comfortable. Highly recommended.

This place is spotless and has an attractive minimalism to it. Even the bathroom was exceptionally clean, something you obviously want especially in a tattoo place. Complimentary water and tea were greatly appreciated, along with a super comfy couch. My husband and I both got tattoos from Austin and are extremely pleased with them. His shading technique is incredibly professional. Pricing was reasonable.

These guys deserve more then 5 stars. They were so nice, welcoming, and easy to work with. They make you feel at home. The shop was super clean and friendly. Billy did my tattoo he made sure it was exactly what I wanted and where I wanted it. Lines look amazing and clean! While there we saw another artist doing a portrait and it was incredible, looked just like the pic! I highly highly highly recommend this tattoo shop!

Today my lifelong dream of sporting a tattoo became reality. Anthony was kind, patient and spent time designing a cool 3D butterfly tattoo. I was pleasantly surprised that it didn’t hurt; he was very gentle. The shop is modern and clean compared to other parlors. I highly recommend Anthony’s work.

Billy recently wrapped up a full sleeve for me. He did an outstanding job of taking the elements that I wanted and forming them into a cohesive whole. Truly a gifted eye for color, perspective and proportion. The rest of the staff were always friendly, always helpful. They've gathered an impressive amount of talent under one roof. The shop's clean and open. Feels like the collective artists' studio that it is. I can't imagine a more positive and professional experience than the one I had there.

I searched for months for an artist in the Asheville area to do a floral sleeve in an artistic style that would look like someone painted right on my arm with watercolors, and I was lucky enough to be pointed in Billy's direction. He is an extremely talented and creative person who has brought Heron Mark straight out of his mind into reality. One thing I especially appreciate is that I don't need to know the exact image that I want tattooed. I can just give him some ideas of a theme, a color scheme, a few images I like, and the style I am going for, and he "gets" it! He is an experienced tattoo artist, and I trust him to tell me what will look good or what would look better, as he is very intuitive and has an amazing eye for color, placement, and size. I have been tattooed by others in the past who advertise "custom tattooing," but then use my idea to print an image from Google and make that into a stencil. In my opinion, pretty much anyone can copy someone else's work. It takes real talent to create art from scratch. I cannot wait to get my floral sleeve added to within the next couple of months, and I know I will not be disappointed!

He put me at ease and did the tattoo as quickly and painlessly as possible. I can’t recommend him and this studio enough. Great. Austin was the man. First tattoo, he did a really small one with fantastic lettering and attention to detail. The studio is also super clean and has an awesome waiting sofa which is important to me apparently lol. I’m a perfectionist and the font was again perfect. In and out, no fuss, nice staff

Noah at Heron mark tattoo and gallery is they main guy you want to come in and set an appointment with. He has done most of my tattoos and I just got my 6th one done tonight by him. He just does incredible work with new styles and all ur weird out of the ordinary tattoos. He does clean line work and shading. Just an out of this world person to call a friend and my tattoo artist. You cant go to any other tattoo shops an get those connections with the tattooist.
