I had an amazing experience with Kiko at his tattoo studio. Totally friendly, fun and an amazing artist. Spent time helping me put together my ideas and made custom changes that I loved and when you know you can trust an artist it is easy to do. I’m already planning my next visit. My FAVORITE tattoo shop here in Alaska!! By far the nicest artists, cleanest shop, and the best tattoos. Kiko squeezed me in within 24 hours, and he spent so much time customizing my tattoo to perfection. And after he finished with both my pieces I was amazed. I will hold every other tattoo I get to the quality of Kiko’s work! Fair prices too for the quality of work provided here. Best shop in Alaska.

One of the best if not the best tattoo artist I know. Absolutely in love with my tattoo, everything about it is perfect: clean, dark lines, beautiful detail, good symmetrical placement, I could go on. Everyone at Valla Tattoo Gallery is super helpful and personable. The environment is very clean, organized, and comfortable/welcoming. I've been getting tattooed for a few years now, I've got work from kiko and Jacob. Every time I go in they have a very welcoming atmosphere and environment, all the artists are very friendly and are skilled and willing to work with you to help your tattoo ideas come to reality. I've had the pleasure of mostly working with Jacob and he has always exceeded my expectations, he is willing to work with your schedule, he has a positive attitude and fun to be around. Highly recommended. 5 stars just isn't enough.

Went in yesterday with my 4 sisters wanting to get matching sister tattoos. We called them on the same day and they were flexible and were able to get all 5 of our tattoos done in the same day. It was all of our first time ever getting a tattoo. They had a great team and they were very friendly. The price was very reasonable for how clean the place was. Thanks to Devin and Chris for doing our tattoos!! They were very nice and welcoming. They didn’t try to rush us and they took their time helping us with our design. We will definitely be coming back!!

I have been wanting to get a tattoo for awhile. Everywhere is booked. I'd call and ask if there was cancelations. I called here and they asked what I wanted. They were able to get me in! I loved the artwork they have there and Devin did a good job on my tattoo. If I wasn't moving, I'd come back!

Absolutely amazing place! Don't be fooled by the location or exterior... It is really nice inside and the atmosphere is really great! Kiko did an amazing job at fixing my tattoo! By far the best tattoo I have gotten so far. Kiko is really kind and gentle (as much as one can be with tattooing 😉) I would definitely recommend The Valla Gallery and will be going back for my next tattoo 😎

I really appreciated the professionalism and artistry that was present in each part of the process. I don’t have many tattoos and I was really indecisive in my font choice but JR was really understanding and patient as I chose. He gave advice about the placement too but was completely willing to show me all the options for placement. During the tattoo, I was in a lot of pain but he remained cool and pleasant, even making conversation to try and distract!!! I am really pleased with the work! Exactly what I wanted!! I would really recommend going here for all these reasons but most of all, IT WAS SO QUICK!!!! He worked sooooooo fast!!!!!! I won’t go anywhere else in Anchorage.

I came to Anchorage to visit family, on my last day I walked into this shop last minute wanting to get a tattoo done before I left to have something to remember Alaska by, I got a tattoo with the stars incorporating the Alaskan flag (big yikes for this Texas girl to do 😉) but it’s a beautiful state & I have family here, Kiko did a great job, was very professional and friendly, the shop was very nice and clean. I love my new tattoo

Fell in love with the shop! Kiko and Devin are amazing artist as well as host. I say host because they were both able to make my wife and I extremely comfortable while we both got inked at the same time.It was my first tat i ever got and it was done up by Devin. The atmosphere was amazing and they also have great taste in music. They have truly shown me that it's not just a job and business that they do it for, but a passion for art and the clients needs and wants. 10/10 would let tat me again.

Devin did a memorial tattoo with my sons ashes in it and it is beautiful, and a second tattoo of heart on my shoulder with my son’s name on it. He did a great job, he is friendly and listens to what you want and uses his artistic skills to pull together beautifully. I would definitely recommend Devin to my friends and family.

Expect great service, wonderful coworkers, and ran by an amazing happy family. I am so glad i came across this place. I thought haveing fun at a tatoo shop was just in the shows but i was wrong..not at the valla gallery here itz ran by a family that excepts us and appreicates our time as we walk out with a smile on our face from there work.
