I found Suria through Google search and gave them a try based on their outstanding reviews. I had developed a bump right above my eyebrow that I neglected for quite some time. Dr Kusuma made me feel comfortable and confident that I was in the right hands. I can't begin to explain how great the whole process was. Very thorough with explaining what the process will be and even during the surgery with letting you know all information that you could need. All in all, I wonderful experience at Suria! Dr. Kusuma is not only an incredible doctor, he is a wonderful person. He is trustworthy and extremely detail oriented - which is obviously so important when you are choosing which doctor to do your surgery. Dr. Kusuma and the staff at Suria Plastic Surgery are AMAZING! No need to look anywhere else to get your desired procedure done. Dr K. is extremely caring, attentive, and talented! From the very beginning, I felt so cared for and could tell I would be in great hands. Jane, the cosmetic coordinator, is so sweet and was a pleasure to work with. The nurse, Maria, was also very kind and helpful throughout the process. The anesthesiologist, Maureen, made me feel so comfortable before surgery and was extremely caring. I felt like I could trust her. You can tell everyone at Suria loves what they do, and from a patient’s perspective, it makes the process so smooth and stress-free knowing that you are undergoing surgery with a team of people who are passionate about their job. The doctor even developed an app for you to be able to communicate with him and the staff whenever you may need them. This makes the healing process so great knowing that you can reach out anytime for any sort of help. I am still healing from my breast reduction that was performed 2 days ago, but I don’t even need to wait to see my results to write this review because the overall experience itself was AMAZING. I am confident that I will look and feel so great once I’m done healing! I am so thankful that I decided to get my breast reduction surgery at Suria Plastic Surgery and I urge you to consider them for whatever it is you need. You will not be disappointed! After meeting the doctor and his staff for the first time, I knew he was the doctor I wanted to use to perform my surgeries. There was not a question I had that wasn’t answered immediately and the staff continued to put me at ease up to the days leading up to my surgeries. I came to Dr. Kusuma after an unsatisfactory lower face lift and upper eyelid surgery. He evaluated my condition and agreed to do a neck lift, lower face lift, and upper & lower eyelid surgery. Dr. Kusuma explained everything that would be done and answered all my questions. He was very patient and made sure I was comfortable with the procedures. I had my surgery two weeks ago and although I’m still bruised, I can see that the outcome is going to be beautiful. There was no pain - I never took a pain killer, although there was some tightness and discomfort. The follow-up care has been excellent. Dr. Kusuma has been at every appointment - removing my stitches, following my progress and reassuring me with his gentle manner and pleasant demeanor. I felt very safe and cared for throughout the process. Dr Kusuma has a beautiful office and a wonderful staff.

I have been seeing Dr. Kasuma for over 6 years and he has always been honest and up front with my assessment with Breast Reconstruction and expectations. He performed a mastopexy implants Bilateral., fat grafting and he also reconstructed the left areola and nipple. He was upfront and honest and informed me that it will take time and that it is a process. Dr. Kasuma has gifted hands and is a sculptor. He has transformed my life and body and I feel my appearance is truly a masterpiece. He takes his time during surgery. He was able to salvage my left nipple and provide symmetry to both breasts. He has excellent bedside manners and he saw me frequently. He is compassionate and caring and is and excellent listener. I have not had any complications and have excellent results! I am so pleased that he resolved the situation. Over all he exceeded my expectations. I now have tears of joy and feel and look more whole as a woman. In addition he recommended a mini abdominoplasty which was performed separately, and I am amazed and happy with the results. He has brought a smile to my face. His staff is polite and always caring and available. I look forward to finished the last phase of my breast reconstruction. This will entail the tattooing of both nipples. I am totally satisfied. I recommend his expertise wholeheartedly.

I’ve had multiple consultations for a forehead reduction surgery to see who I thought would help me best. I cancelled all future appointments even ones I paid for after meeting dr kusuma. First of all the staff especially Jane was super helpful and friendly. She made me feel comfortable and was very knowledgeable with everything. Hey When I met dr Kusuma, he was very professional, asked me what my expectations were and provided me with the best option to achieve those results. I had a gut feeling that I found the surgeon who truly cares for his patients. After my surgery I couldn’t be any happier with my results. The doctor has his own app that you can download on your smartphone to talk to the doctor directly so any questions I had post op I was able to ask the doctor and not the staff. Overall if your reading this, don’t look any further for a surgeon, dr Kusuma is the best at what he does for a reason.

I am so happy I found Dr. Kusuma! From the very start of the process, meeting with Jane, his amazing surgical coordinator, to post-surgery, I’ve had a great experience. Dr. Kusuma is the favorite choice of other doctors. I was referred to Dr. Kusuma by my doctor. I quickly learned that he cares and listen unlike others who bluntly aim to sell you. He performed a minor surgery on my eyelids under local anesthesia. I was awake and quickly learned and felt how good and experience Dr. Kusuma is. I recovered within few days with minimal bruises I didn’t even need pain medicines. I would not ever go to another Surgeon. I live in Asheville, NC and fly to Plantation, Fl for procedures. I have had a breast augmentation, breast reduction with a lift and an ART Facial. This review is long overdue. I had a lower face and neck lift and my eyes done by Dr. Kusuma, in January but I wanted to be able to see what I really looked like after all the swelling went away and I was back to fully being me. Let me start by saying two things : I love Dr. K and his staff. Everyone at Suria has been so lovely to me since I first went to the office to start researching my options. Plastic surgery is a process. You have to be willing to give yourself time to heal. I happened to be a very quick healer but it still took a while for all the residual swelling to go away, but so very worth it! I had definitly done my due diligence when I decided that I wanted to get this surgery and I had met with a few other doctors that friends had recommended. While these people did nice work on my friends, when I met with them they were missing a few key traits that I personally find very important and that Dr. K has in abundance. Dr. Kusuma actually listens! He spent a good amount of time with me just listening and hearing what I wanted to get out of this surgery and then he told me what he thought I needed. He patiently answered all my questions and listened when I incessently stated that "I want the less is more approach". I wanted to make sure that after the surgery I looked like me but the me that was refreshed and younger. He totally got it. I never had to worry. The other thing that was so important to me was being informed. Dr. K and the staff always explained each thing that would happen in as much detail as I wanted to hear (I love the science of it so, I wanted all the details, poor them). I will definitely continue with Dr. K and his staff for anything surgical or any complimentary care to keep my skin looking great. By the way, no one that has seen me a few months after the surgery has been able to tell what I had done. They all just ask me how come I never seem to age - Best Compliment Ever!

I first sat with Maria Bond who answered many of my questions with such patience and genuine concern that I decided to go the next step and meet with Dr. Kusuma. Where to start?!? From day one, scheduling an appointment was a breeze, zero wait in the clean, professional waiting room, personal service and attention to detail from the start. Dr. Kusuma LISTENS! I underwent my cosmetic procedure a few weeks after my initial consultation. LOVE the website portal that allows me to communicate with his office ANY TIME, even on weekends and holidays (WHO ALLOWS THAT?!?). My results are amazing! Dr. Kusuma is educated and truly talented. I was referred to Dr Kusuma following Mohs surgery on the side of my nose. I was very concerned about the scar and/or deformity the Mohs surgery would cause. I went straight from the Mohs surgeon to Dr K's office. Dr K and his staff were extremely caring and compassionate and took time to answer questions before taking great care in repairing the hole left from Mohs surgery. While the recovery took several weeks, Dr K and his staff were very reassuring in follow up appts and responsive when I had questions or concerns between appts. I had never heard of Suria Plastic Surgery or Dr. Kusuma until May 16, 2019, the day of my Mohs procedure. I was amazed at how Dr. Kusuma took on my wound. He cleaned and stitched me up. The Mohs procedure that was done earlier that day was large and deep. It was so large that Dr. Kusuma's assistance was not sure that he would be able to attempt it in his office. But it turned out that he could and as I said he took on the task to completion. My scar is so minimal that unless you knew that I had surgery, you would never notice. I’ve been a customer of Suria Plastic Surgery for almost two years now and I have always been extremely happy with all the services that I’ve received. Kadie - I first visited Suria thanks to Kadie. She’s the licensed esthetician that takes care of all of my simple beauty needs. Kadie has been doing my brows for a few years now and if it weren’t for her my brows would be terribly uneven. She’s knowledgable on skincare and all your basic beauty needs like tweezing, waxing, microblading, make-up, and more. I trust her to do my brows and that’s a pretty big deal for me. Through Kadie I met Dr. Kusuma. Dr. Kusuma - Last summer I had a door slammed on my hand and I went to the ER to get treated. At that time, the ER doctor told me that just some medical glue would be all I needed to take care of the wound. The ER doctor put medical grade glue on my cut and I went home. Unfortunately, I did not realize the depth of my cut until days later when my finger was still bleeding and seeping through the medical glue. I called Kadie and asked her if she knew anyone that could help me with it and she referred me to Dr. Kusuma. Dr. Kusuma took me in without an appointment and told me that the one-inch cut on my finger needed stitches. He cleaned my wound meticulously and showed me that the cut was so deep you can see my tendon. I will never trust a doctor the way I trust Dr. Kusuma. He was able to stitch me up with minimal scarring. I am very happy that I met him. He is very honest and straight to the point. He is extremely knowledgable and I look forward to having plastic surgery with him one day. Nurse Kim B - Recently, after another visit with Kadie, I noticed there was something different about her look. She told me she got her lips done with Kim, a nurse practitioner in Suria. I have always been curious about getting my lips done but I heard from others that the procedure was very painful. Kadie and the team at Suria promised me Kim was the best and that the procedure was practically pain free. Soon enough, I was face-to-face with Kim super happy about my lip injections and Kadie was right, it was practically pain free. Kim said I would feel a few pinches, but I can’t complain. I barely felt anything at all and I cry and cringe at the sight of needles. I am super happy with my lips and can’t wait to go back already!!!! Altogether, I am very very very happy with my family at Suria. The office staff always greets you kindly. It feels like they’re family. I will continue to be their customer and I am glad that they provide me with services and such outstanding care. I don’t see myself trusting anyone else but Kadie, Dr. Kusuma, and Nurse Kim for my aesthetic needs.

After gaining and losing about 50 lbs. per baby after three pregnancies and breastfeeding them for over a year each, my breasts were very saggy and looked deflated. Dr. Kusuma and his staff have been amazing! I went in for a consultation and Dr. Kusuma and nurse Maria took their time with me and listened to my concerns and requests. I underwent a mastopexy and breast augmentation. One of my initial concerns was to not increase too much in size, since I am very petite and I desired a natural look. Dr. Kusuma listened attentively and made his recommendations based on his vast expertise. I decided to follow his recommendations. I am now 17 days post-op and I couldn’t be happier with the results! Dr. Kusuma made a periolar (donut) incision and inframammary (underneath the breast) incisions. I am very happy with the fact that I will not have the vertical scar from the “lollipop” or “anchor” incisions. I’m also happy with the fact that the implants were placed underneath the muscle rather than the breast tissue. A bonus is that I am able to contact Dr. Kusuma and his staff directly through an app. Overall, I’ve had an excellent experience and highly recommend Suria Plastic Surgery.

After I was attacked by a dog at the around 4 am I went Westside Regional Hospital of Plantation but received little to no help and was discharged with open wounds and profusely bleeding. Several hours later I went to the Urgent Care on Broward for someone to actually address my wounds and assess the damage done to my ear, the doctor there suggested for me to see a plastic surgeon, Kusuma Shashidhar. After getting past the shock responses from me telling them that I left a hospital in this condition he was already about to leave for the day, but he decided to take the time to close my wound after being appalled that I saw several different medical professionals and have been like that for 12 hours. I wasn't afraid when I got attacked, I didn't get angry when I was discharged from the hospital but when he took me into the other room and told me that he was going to close me up. I wept. As an actor and performer, I had become increasingly bothered by the sagging skin that I was developing in my neck area. I'm a bearded guy who doesn't know anything about skin care, and am on vacation in Florida. My girlfriend told me I needed a facial. A bit too much sunshine without knowing how to keep my skin right. I didn't burn, but my face felt really tight. I had an ingrown hair that was hurting my face. I ended up booking an appointment with Kadie, (not Katie) for my first facial ever. The place was nice looking and super clean. It was a little awkward for me at first, because she asked me questions about my skin; I don't know if I've got sensitive skin or oily skin but she helped me figure it out and didn't make me feel silly for not knowing. I settled in quick and it was really relaxing. It kind of felt like going for a massage, but for my face skin? I really liked the face humidifier thing during the treatment, and I liked how comfortable my face felt when I left. Kadie gave me a few suggestions on how to keep my face feeling so fresh, so clean, and told me how to keep my ingrown hair on the road to healing. Much much appreciated on all fronts. I'd definitely see Kadie again for a treatment. I live on the West Coast, so since I can't go myself I felt compelled to write a review so other people get to leave feeling like I did.
