Dr. Kayan is an excellent surgeon with an approachable and friendly personality. I am very pleased with her work and would definitely recommend her to anyone seeking gender affirming top surgery. She explains things well, answers questions, and her office is always available and responsive. Her staff member Monica is especially great with follow up care and drain removal, I really appreciated her a lot. Her staff at the surgical center was also wonderful, and everyone from the anesthesiologist to the nurses were kind and affirming. It was a calm, quiet environment and they made everything as easy as possible. Overall I’d recommend Dr. Kayan and the benefits of going to a smaller private practice. The entire process was seamless from consult to recovery!

Dr. Kayan is the BEST of the BEST! My surgery was so much easier than expected and I healed SO quickly! We drove almost 6 hours to see her and came home immediately after surgery (the same day) and it was so easy and smooth. Dr. Kayan was SO worth the drive and I would highly recommend her to anyone. Dr Kayan and her team are the best! I had more than one consult before I decided Dr Kayan would be my surgeon. After meeting and talking with her, experiencing her professionalism and observing her attention to detail, I knew without a doubt that it would be her or no one to perform my procedures. All I can do is corroborate the other glowing reviews below. Dr. Kayan is as empathetic and skilled as everyone says she is. Having had 2 prior surgeries, I was really dreading this one since I have severe post op nausea and vomiting. The nurse who saw me before surgery was incredible, as well as the anesthesiologist, and of course, Dr. Kayan. I know there are many other unsung heroes I didn’t even get to see while in surgery, and her entire staff is phenomenal, including front desk. I have a lot of healing left to do but I love my results so far. Dr. Kayan was the third surgeon I consulted with in my search and she was indeed A CHARM!! I barely got sick at all after this surgery and my results appear to exceed my expectations. Truly my best case scenario.

Dr. Kayan listened to what I was hoping to achieve with my surgery and we discussed the best options to ensure I would get my desired results. I received a message the day before my surgery, asking how I was feeling and if I had any additional questions. I also received a message the night of my surgery to make sure I was doing alright.
