Dr. Afzal is one of the best doctors I’ve ever had. For years I was very self conscious of my legs. Dr. Afzal has made a 100% improvement with my legs which in turn has improved my looks, blood flow and overall health! I literally feel like I have new legs not to mention improved self-confidence. What he does is truly a miracle! The clinic is extremely clean and Dr. Afzal is super funny which makes it fun to return! I also love Caitlyn! She’s such a sweetheart and excellent at what she does too! If you’re contemplating having your legs done… please don’t! I highly recommend this doctor and clinic! They will change your life for the BETTER! Thank you Dr. Afzal, Caitlyn and staff!!

Been coming here for years.. love it. Today was weird. I always appreciate being told how I can improve or work on things that may bother me but didn’t love being told that, “ I should easily be looking looking 15 years younger than I do.” I’m 45 and in pretty good shape. Definitely not someone who is rough around the edges. I don’t love the notion that I “should look” 29 or 30. I think that’s 100% false. I embrace my age and want to do it gracefully and look good for my age within reason. I’m definitely NOT trying to look like I’m that much younger. That’s a lot of pressure for something completely irrational.Maybe consider the message you send to the women you are representing.

I only had my procedure done today so I am unable to speak on the results, however the procedure itself was practically painless Dr Afzal and the staff were professional, kind and courteous. I particularly liked that Dr Afzal came to speak to me in the waiting room before the procedure. I felt like he saw me as a person and not as a clinical procedure. The team of staff members are all friendly and helpful on the phone as well as in the clinic. The atmosphere is very clean modern in a professional spa/clinic setting. Dr. Afzal is charming and witty and very approachable. On my first visit to the clinic I asked a lot of questions and the assistant as well as Dr. Afzal give time to answer them with a clear understanding of the procedure that I requested. Give them a try you won’t be disappointed, I am already scheduled for a second session in the upcoming week. I myself review ratings of prior guests at a new place, and I would not mislead anyone. 😊

I really love this place(woodbury)! I was in 2 weeks ago and absolutely loved the results! I had a few questions afterwards to which they immediately addressed which was awesome! Everyone there is professional, super nice a friendly. The waiting area is very welcoming and relaxing. My nurse who did injections ( bad with names) was excellent. She literally explained everything she was doing and why from start to finish. I will definitely be back and recommend to anyone wanting these services.

Always a 10/10 experience. Dr Afzal and the entire staff are kind, knowledgeable, efficient, and always produce quality results. I’ve tried several clinics/etc and I continue to go here for a reason. They only suggest products and services that actually fit what you want/need, are transparent about results as well as price, answer questions honestly (which is not always the case) - overall great business practices. If you’re looking for a recommendation in the twin cities, this is it. I can’t thank them enough for quality & noticeable but natural results.

Awesome experience and I totally recommend for Dysport injections. (Although there are several other services I want to try!) I’ve been here twice now. The first time I went because of a Groupon, and I had such a great experience I went back as a “regular” customer. Super reasonable prices and very knowledgeable staff. Also, they don’t accept gratuity which I think is a huge bonus- makes it feel more like a professional medical service and not a beauty salon. My face looks great after the injections!

I went to Afzal clinic because I saw that they specialize in vein treatments. I had had a few varicose and spider vein procedures in the past and was still having problems. I have since been in the clinic on 5 separate occasions and I can confidently say that my treatment plan was much more comprehensive in comparison to the other two places I had had vein work done. I have done multiple procedures with Afzal Clinics. Botox, filler and Coolsculpting. I am always treated like a queen. I have not had any issues with injectables and I am 8 Weeks into my Coolsculpting, I lost 2 inches on my abdomen and my flanks. I had many concerns about my skin due to ongoing problems with acne and medication I am taking... I had a consult with Dr. Afzal and he made me feel so comfortable, answered all my questions and told me what fillers would work best with my face and was very good at explaining at how it works and what it was going to do for me. He is very knowledgeable but won’t make you feel dumb or intimidated. It my was my first time getting cheek fillers and I was a little nervous but he was so gentle I didn’t feel a thing!!! The nurse that was there was also soooo sweet! I will definitely be coming back to get more stuff done and I am so excited.

From the first time there till now, the staff and Dr has been nothing but great to me. I had my right leg treated for varicose veins and now it looks and feels fantabulous :) the scheduling is great, location and esp the whole group altogether. For the big treatment, the process was explained in great detail and even during the procedure Dr Afzal explained each step as he was doing them which comforts and I can relax. After having my 3 little ones, the annoying restless legs I had had for years became painful. Especially in one leg, the bulging veins were starting to hold me back from the physical activities I wanted to do with my family. After getting a blood clot, we finally decided to schedule the appointments, and I am so glad I did. My experience has been wonderful. The staff has been great. They are personable, and I have full confidence in their work. My legs feel great now, and I haven't had to worry about how much pain I'm going to be in at the end of the day no matter what we do. You could not ask for a finer group of people nor a better experience than at the Metro Vein Clinic (all locations)!!! Dr. A is incredible! He is highly skilled in his work!! He does excellent, quality work, he's caring, and he's funny! :) Alicia the physician assistant (PA-C) is wonderful and does an excellent job and is so nice! Brielle the nurse goes above and beyond! His assistants Jane and Natalie are just wonderful! Michelle and Connie the scheduling coordinators are a true asset to the clinic! They tie everything together to help it all run smoothly. Everyone at the clinic is extremely helpful, friendly, and kind - not to mention knowledgeable. Honestly, you don't find many places like this anymore! To find a clinic that has their act together...where the left hand knows what the right hand is doing, where everyone is on the same page, AND they provide quality patient care is almost a million-to-one shot these days. The Metro Vein Clinic is almost too good to be true - but they are for real! The people at this clinic TRULY care!!! I would recommend them to anyone needing vein treatment or any other treatment. I have been taking my mother there for the the past several months and if I ever need this type of service for myself, there's absolutely no other place I would look to. You will not be disappointed with Metro Vein Clinic!

I started getting small areas of spider veins on my legs in my mid 20's. No big deal, not that noticeable...until my second pregnancy. At that point everything changed and by the time I had my daughter my legs were a mess with spider veins AND varicose veins. Along with the obvious fact that they weren't very attractive, (a fact my 2 year old frequently reminded me of when she pointed out the "owies" on my legs) they were also very painful. I had aching, heaviness, cramps, itching, the list goes on. My sister referred me to Dr. A and staff because of her great experience with them. Thank goodness she did! After having the necessary treatments for my venous reflux and spider veins I feel so great! All the pain that has been slowing me down and been such a negative part of my life for 3 years is finally gone! To top it off the staff is awesome! The Doctor and his team work so well together and have made it a very comfortable process. I wouldn't go anywhere else for anything I may need done in the future.

Metro Vein clinic has been awesome! I have had many appointments at the Plymouth location and a few at the Fridley location over the last 6 several months. I had leg veins treated and liposuction done on my stomach. The staff always recognizes me and greets me warmly, asks about the kids, etc... they remember my history and past appointments without having to constantly look at my chart. Dr. A is warm and funny, makes you feel safe and secure. Everything was explained very well to me. I would gladly refer family and/or friends! After my liposuction I had some pain on a Sunday evening and Brielle called me back on her personal phone/time and got in touch with Dr. A who then offered to meet me a urgent care or prescribe any necessary meds to help. Wonderful to find staff like this who cares so much for their patients!!

I have had treatments for varicose veins on both legs as well as spider veins. The staff at Metro Vein was very personable and professional. I visited both the Plymouth and Fridley locations in the course of my treatments and since the staff floats among the locations, the location of my treatment made no difference in the care I received. My treatment and experience at the Metro Vein Clinic has been totally positive. The staff and Dr Afzal have always been polite and professional. They were able to determine the cause of some pronounced varicose veins and discomfort in my right leg. They subsequent RF ablation of the greater saphenous vein in my right leg was performed in their office with minimal discomfort. After some follow up visits to confirm vein integrity, I have been without the previous discomfort. I am now able to sit on a 3-4 hr flight without any leg discomfort nor ankle swelling. I fully recommend their services.

I was nervous at first and Dr. Afzal and his nursing staff, particulary Brielle and Natalie have been fantastic at easing my nerves. I met and discussed my desired outcomes with 3 doctors, all specialists in vein therapy. I felt that Dr. Afzal was the best choice. He is very concerned that the patient not only experience relief from their symptoms but that your cosmetic outcome exceeds standards! I'm only having medically based treatments but that doesn't mean it's not going to drastically improve the appearance of my legs. I wish there was an option of 4.5 stars vs 5. The staff are professional, courteous, and very knowledgeable. Brielle took her time in providing the treatment for both my sessions of spider vein removal, explained what to expect and the aftercare recommendations. I would definitely go there again and would not hesitate to recommend them to others. The reason I would rate them slightly lower then 5 stars, is they seem to have a bit of a scheduling problem. A week before my first treatment, I received a call asking if I would be able to change the time of my appt. The new time slot offered worked for me so I agreed. That day I booked my second session for the recommended 4 wks. Before the appt, I received a call stating they wanted to cancel and reschedule it to a different date. Since I had arranged weeks in advance at my job to get this date off for the procedure and also booked another medical appt for that afternoon, I did not want to change the date. After some discussion, they offered to do the treatment on that day, if I was willing to come in an hour earlier. The office makes a reminder call prior to the appt date, and when they did they quoted me yet a different time than either the original or agreed upon time change. 2 treatments, and both resulted in scheduling issues, which was a bit frustrating. I've suffered from achy, swollen, calves and feet and also RLS for years. I finally scheduled a consultation with Dr. A. I wish I hadn't waited so long to do so. I've had treatments done over the last couple months and I am very happy with the results. Dr. A was straight up front with me from the start and said he wouldn't promise the RLS to be gone completely, but thought that with the treatments he had planned, I would get some relief from it. Although I still have bouts of RLS, it's not nearly as severe, or as often, as it was in the past. Brielle and Katelyn are an added bonus at the Fridley office. They do a wonderful job, and sure seem to enjoy working together with Dr A. All in all, a great place. I have, and will continue to, recommend them to anyone in need of their services. Just returned from my first session of spider vein removal at Metro Vein & Cosmetic Surgery in Plymouth. I was a little apprehensive and second guessing my decision to do this, but all of that disappeared the moment I walked in the door. This is a very professional operation with friendly, caring professionals. I felt Brielle provided all of the information I needed and left me feeling confident that I had made a great decision. The procedure lasted an hour and was close to painless. If you've ever had a pin prick then you can handle this. Brielle explained everything to me and there were no surprises. I will be going back for my follow up the end of April. I will add to this post as to how everything worked out.
