Nice that they were open late on a Sunday. Stopped by to pick up a tomahawk steak and rib eye steaks. We grilled the steaks, they were great. Big store with a large selection. Parking lot was good but no EV charging station. No line at the self checkout.

What a fun experience shopping in this market! They have a verity of food and grocery. And you will find surprise in every corner! There were interactive installation with dancing and singing sculptures, which I’ve never seen in other market before.

Their ice cream is very rich milky flavor

First time buying from this establishment. Let’s just say i really love this damn store lol. Has everything you need plus more. We ended buying 3 dozen clams and had $5.99 lobster that were delicious. I also got a candy apple that just brought me back to Ny childhood all and all I will be back lol.

As always, it is always a shopping adventure at Stew Leonard's. It was a pleasant surprise to have fresh lobster rolls with warm melted butter poured over everything. A heartattack worth waiting for. PS Halloween Brunch is a must!

This place is like a food amusement park. Its huge and has music, entertainment & food. The produce here is beautiful- so fresh and for the most part, well priced . They have an amazing variety of fruits and vegetables- some things are a bit expensive (strawberries), but for the most part, everything is so well priced and delicious to boot. They have different sections with prepared food which is great if you are in a bit of a rush (of course you pay per pound - it was a bit pricey but worth the convenience if you're not cooking) . The prepared food looks very fresh. The meat section is quite large and also very fresh. Throughout the store they have tasting stations which is quite nice. If you go with kids, please be prepared for them to be over stimulated and they will want the treats- get some for yourself while you're at it! The people working there are lovely- very friendly and super helpful. Lots if parking . You could honestly spend the better part if your day here.

It's a difficult place to describe to those coming from out of town. They have a great, fresh selection of produce and meats. Definitely a great place to be and shop. Staff are always friendly. Apple cider donuts definitely hit very nicely and the Chiquita Banana lady is a wonderful sight. The rewards program is weak. A free ice that costs there cents to make is your reward for spending $100 or more?

I loved the drive to the top of the place. The animatronics are original and create a great ambience. The food is delicious and the ice-cream outside is iconic. I love how the isles are a journey through. The samples were plentiful and delicious!

Always a wide variety of great items at reasonable prices. Bring the kids, great animatronics throughout the store. Daily free samples a certain hours. During warmer weather, they operate a free children’s zoo at some locations. Also during warmer weather, they operate an outdoor restaurant with picnic table seating. Always free parking in large parking lots

First time visiting this store with kids, it was a nice store with many options, seafood and variety of meats and produce, coffee and desserts, photo cake is an option here. Decorations are nice and kid friendly. But the cost is a little pricey, so that was the downside. Overall nice big store with huge parking spots.

I was at Stew Leonards in Yonkers yesterday and got some Corned Beef from their hot food section. It was the best Corned Beef i have ever eaten. Thanks Stew it really made my day. Hope you will make it again.

Great atmosphere during the holidays. My first visit and I’m hooked. Loved the fresh food, and cooked food options. They have everything you could need. A lot of choices for east quick dinners. Prices are decent for most items. Good prices for meats and a good selection.

A lot of baked goodies and grocery options, prices are a bit higher than supermarkets. I liked their fat free lactaid milk store brand and cream cheese but they no longer sell either.

The freshest fruits and veggies you will ever buy from a store. The variety is awesome. Can be a bit pricey but you’re paying for quality so I’m ok with it. Huge store. The sell prepared food there also. There’s a bakery on premises Forget Arby’s. They have the meats! 😁 Feeling lush.. the sell spirits at a very good price too

Website is very painful. Trying to order gift cards and keeps crashing on checkout. Although the phrase "sorry its our fault not yours" is cute, I would prefer the ability to purchase after I "wait a few minutes and refresh". And by the way, after one refreshes, one's cart is emptied. Update - all those "wait a few minutes and refresh" transactions went through and I had $4800 in pending charges on my credit card. Contacted customer service via email and got a call back on New Years Day. All issues resolved. Upgraded rating to 3 stars.

Always the freshest fruits and vegetables. I would drive here just for the milk.. it is always fresh till the last drop. Corned beef is the leanest around.. don't mind that it costs more, I am getting a much better cut.

I was a big fan but haven’t been there since the Covid scare. I found some changes. The layout is easier to negotiate but the hot food bar shrunk and I found the salmon dry and mostly sides instead of meat and chicken. The apple cider donut holes lacked the taste I remember. The staff as always are great. Is it just me or is Everything Everywhere just not the same. The peanut butter is to die for. I’ll be back

I love Stew Leonard's supermarket they have things that I cannot find anywhere else I especially love to sweet potato tortilla style chips, and the freshly prepared guacamole so delicious, and I love Spanish so you know I have to get it and this bag is so big for the price it's worth it.

Very entertaining experience shopping there. All of the food, no matter what department is top of the line. They get very crowded on weekends so i would recommend going during the week. Butcher area is amazing they have gigantic steaks if you want or they will custom cut to your preference. Also saw the biggest strawberry I've ever seen.

Stew Leonards East Meadow. I purchased what I thought was Chicken Parmesian. The label said Chicken Parmesian. But to my surprise when I heated my dish it was eggplant. I returned a few days later with the product and a very nice customer service rep took back the pkg and I purchased another. To my surprise she also gave me a$15 gift card towards my next purchase. Great customer service that goes above and beyond to make guest feel wanted. Thank you Stew Leonards 😘 I will always recommend this location to friends & family.

It's located on top of a hill, just past Home Depot and Costco. They've slightly redesigned the place, which they do every year or so. For those unfamiliar with Stew's, they have a big variety of everything - fresh bakery items, deli, meat, butcher, dairy, fruits and vegetables, floral. They have a buffet bar as well as prepacked meals. Sushi section. They have lottery machines, fresh coffee by the cup. Helpful, friendly staff. Outdoor garden section caters to seasonal items. And there's also a separate wine and liquor store. Ample parking. And, it's a unique set up - it's a path that you have to walk through the complete store to get to the checkout - no aisles like a regular supermarket, though there are short cuts to the front of the store. Download the Stew Leonard's app for additional savings and sales. A must try!

I bought a birthday cake for a party we had yesterday. Ordered the cake 24 hours in advance, emailed the photo to the department, and picked out the colors, flavor, and size of the cake. The flavor options are vanilla, chocolate, or both. We went with both. It was like a marble cake. Some slices were pure chocolate, some vanilla, and some had both. The cost was about $44 for the largest sheet cake. They did an amazing job! We got a lot of compliments on the cake. The main question was "Is the photo edible?". Yes it is. An employee was also kind enough to help me bring the cake to my car as I went to pick it up with two kids and a stroller. I think many of our local friends that attended the party may get their next cake at Stew's.

I miss Stew Leonard's so much! I used to live a mile from this store and took it for granted. My sister in law, who grew up in Connecticut, was the first person that got me hooked on Stew's. So many delicious things and a great shopping experience. It's so unique to the New York area. It's not a supermarket. It's an experience! It's practically a restaurant. Never been in a Stew Leonard's. Got to say, I am impressed! So many choices in so many different areas! Meat is a bit expensive. But I bought a fair amount to see if it is worth it. Many of my friends say it is. So I hope I am not disappointed. But plan to be back again no matter what.

Still an amazing food shopping experience after all these years. Yes, it can get a bit crowded, and if you forget something, going back against the flow can be a hassle, but the advantages far outweigh the negatives. Meat and produce is always fresh, and pretty reasonably priced, even in these inflationary times. Samples are always fun. Prepared meals are also good for lunch and dinners during the week. Plenty of delicious desserts and holiday platters to choose from. Place is clean, and always well stocked, even with current supply chain issues. I feel lucky to have Stew's in the neighborhood.

Nice store with lots to choose from. You need to train your customer service reps to not accuse customers of stealing when using self checkout. She basically accused me of not scanning a yogurt that was already scanned and sitting there waiting for me to bag up. It’s $1.00 yogurt. Think I want to be jailed for a $1.00 item on a Friday? Do better when dealing with the public. Things could of went south but I had my kids with me and I was tired.

Stew Leonard's is the second best supermarket chain in Westchester. They have a superb meat & dairy section, second to none. Their fruit and vegetable section is ok, and their staples are mediocre, but I went for lamb and frozen shrimp, and am very pleased.

I am grateful that during a time when most stores complain of supply chain issues, Yonkers Stew Leonards remains stocked with fresh veggies and organic meat products. First time going to this supermarket. I was in the area for my job and decided since I was in Yonkers, why not stop by. Someone told me the fruits looks just like how they did on TV and since I'm picky about my fruits I said why not. The fruits where disappointing. I didn't see one fruit that I wanted to buy. As I'm from Brooklyn I found the prices here very high. They did have a nice seafood section. Overall I'll stick to my local supermarkets, BJ's and Costco.

If you want an amusement park experience during your supermarket trip this is the place. Probably the perfect super market if you have kids. From what I've heard there was much more "entertainment" before the pandemic. I'm sure it'll be back eventually. Wide selection, great prices. The Deli section however was not that appealing if I'm being honest. Took quite a while to pick something and sadly it was a regret. The fried chicken bucket is okay, but you'd likely be better off getting the rotisserie meats which have much more flavor. Produce is fresh and lots of fresh herbs for those who know their way around a kitchen.

If your having a party this is the place to stock up, one stop for veggie trays,butcher, baker, coffee pre-made salads, hot foods, beer, wine and liquor ! Oh My! And lots more! And the best deal on refills for your BBQ propane tanks. It might take some time to find someone to do the refill but still worth the wait.

I love taking my kids to Stew Leonard's! It's not just a shopping trip, it's an experience. They love pressing the buttons for the animatronic shows and getting ice cream cones and the farm animals! Highly recommended if you have small children. The produce is also very fresh.

This store is next to costco. There is so much traffic trying to get into the Costco on the weekends. The stew Leonard's has a lot of parking. They have a liquor store connected to the store that is clean and a lot choices. The customer service in the liquor store is great. I am not a big fan of the actual grocery store. First of all, there are so many people shopping. It gets hard to move without bumping into people. You can't easily walk to get to the specific things you need. If you want fish then you need to walk through the bakery, produce and meat department. Basically, You are forced to walk through the entire store because There is no escape. There is just one entrance and one exit. You are walking down this one crowded path like a line to a roller coaster. This is the store trying to get you to buy more. There are several creepy anomatronic dolls that sing and move. Last time there we dancing and singing avocados. It smells soon good in the store. It smells like sweets straight from the oven. There is are small stores that sell ice cream and coffee at a great price. The loyalty card gives you a free coffee or ice cream if you spend enough. Also, there is a large selection of prepared food. Also, it has a lot of home made items like chips and baked goods. There is not a lot of choice for some products like cereal, frozen foods or chips. I think that you either hate it or love it. But it's worth giving it a shot.

I love this place. Everything is so fresh and the employees are so pleasant. A man in the seafood department helped me. I should have gotten his name. He would know me if "pretty salmon" was mentioned. He was awesome and very patient. Desi, the cashier was so wonderful. I felt as if she was my friend and I just met her that day. Their drive up pick up option via instacart has been an absolute game changer during the pandemic. They always get my order right and deliver it to my car with a smile. On Christmas Eve I picked up my dinner order for Christmas from the catering department. The process was so easy and fast. The staff were very courteous. The meal I purchased was the brisket with mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese. The whole meal was absolutely delicious. No doubt I probably will be purchasing again from Stew’s. Always have an excellent experience shopping here. The Yonkers store is the best!

The selection is great, the food at they're small kitchen is excellent. The server named Augustine was able to help me out with my order and he along with the staff were kind and professional. The supermarket is always a good place to go for a coffee and new ingredients. A must go to place for quality goods! I highly recommend the surf and terf dish for 20 bucks. A good meal for a good price!

I could just go for the ice cream, but I might as well do the grocery shopping and pick up some wine while I’m out. Besides it being ridiculous crowded because it’s a great grocery store with pretty fresh produce and meats, I enjoy coming to Stew’s. STEW LEONARD'S, is like a destination super market. I always feel like I am going on an adventure when I am shopping here. The lay out of the store is very well thought out. The flow of the store moves you through the market in one direction from the entrance to the exit. While grabbing your attention at every turn. With amazing displays and animated puppets/characters. As well as having a great selection of the highest quality fruits, vegetables, meats, pultry, and dairy products. The carry some many items that I can't find anywhere else. And the Hot food.. Everything in the Hot food section is delicious. The store is very clean. The workers are the friendliest. The service at the register/ check out. Is always fast and pleasant. Did I mention the on-site liquor store???!!!! Yes, the have their own liquor store. The parking is free in their huge STEW LEONARD'S, Customers dedicated parking lot. If you have never been to STEW LEONARD'S, if you are going shopping anytime soon. I would definitely recommend that you add STEW LEONARD'S to your must go to locations.

If you don't like crowds, go during off hours or have a game plan. It gets very busy in the middle of the day. That said, their produce is top notch. Corn on the cob delivered fresh daily during the summer. Decent cuts of meat at prices better than a lot of other places. Decent craft beer selection as well.

By far, the Best local food store in the area. The meat and dairy are the best. The seafood and veggies are fresher here than almost anywhere. And the wine store starts you off perfectly only to finish with an ice cream at the end. If I could pick one store to buy my food at forevermore, Stews would be it. You have to visit, especially if you have never enjoyed it before. The expanded selection of organics is great and the ready to eat food section has grown into a spot that everyone can find something they enjoy!

I've been shopping at Stew Leonard's for over 30 years.. Happy shopper, good quality, and things other stores don't sell..... BUT, I would like to add this item to my note. The hamburger purchased on Sunday, was brown throughout the inside of the loaf one day later. Secondly, there was a smaller frame of a man that waited on me at the custom meat cuts, and he argued with me about shrink wrapping the two THICK rib-eyes that I picked from the display.. (argue with a customer? Hmmm... Maybe Rocco from the meat department better speak to this person?).. Ohh, just one more thing.. the Portuguese rolls in the bakery department started growing green stuff on the surfaces of the rolls.. Maybe give me a hint to help me keep the rolls longer in this hot weather?

Ya just gotta go see for yourself. Gr8 trees of all the popular types- all sizes-- at amazingly low price points . Just GO ! ! ! even tho the place was mobbed it was a quick smooth transaction . Lots of help with a well planned smooth transition- from the time we walked in to getting our tree secured to our vehicle was about a half hour. Tree , tree stand n 4 sets of lites . All under a buck and a half and 30 minutes.

I’ve always seen this place when I’m in the area for the mall. Never thought to go in until I got so curious and decided to go. I am glad I did! This place is beyond amazing! I’ve been coming here since the summer and NO other Stew Leonard’s is like this one. Always fully staffed, always greeted with friendly and helpful associates. NIDHI, our cashier for tonight, was especially helpful in the way that she assisted us for our transactions. She is quick, diligent, and efficient. I always love to come to Stew Leonard's because it has a very welcoming atmosphere and the quality of the foods is not only extremely fresh but superior. I especially like to shop for fish and am never disappointed by the selection, freshness nor quality - prices notwithstanding those on sale are generally competitive. The associates throughout the store are always cordial as well as genuinely nice. There's plenty of free parking and the restrooms clean. The liquor store which is adjacent is a pleasure to go to and never disappoints me with its huge selection of wines as well as spirits. I also must mention the gardening section which can address some minor gardening issues. There is also a bottle redemption area here.

Everyone there is super nice and helpful. They have a great selection of fruits and veggies and it's always fresh. Use the kiosk to pre-order from the deli to save you some time. If you're hungry, they have hot food at the end. Try their sandwiches. And did I mention their fish market? They occasionally surprise me with king fish, which is hard to find. The only weird thing is that you can't get a hanger steak here. I asked the butcher about it and he said it's not a cut they get for some reason. Weird. Now I just have to figure out how to spend all my rewards.

Stewart Leonard's is our go to for local foods and most importantly, our Christmas Tree 🎄. We find that getting the tree early after Thanksgiving is the best time. Mid-December may be the absolute worst time. As for the shopping experience, it's not the most spacious spot but everything is organized and labeled in big font. With Costco down the hill, I find that this is perfect for smaller families or couples rather.

Stew Leonard's is everything you need and more in a grocery store organized like Ikea, so instead of aisles you simply tour the entire store, section by section. Honestly it's ingenious because you'll know you've covered all your bases by the time you reach the register. And when I say they have everything, I mean everything. Everything from bakery and deli all the way up to hot food a cafe and a wine department. Generally, they have very fresh produce, fish and seafood, salads and vegetables. Their hot bar and steam table is also good. Their meat counter has great specials on a rotating basis from porterhouse to filet mignon to racks of rib lamb chops to rib eye and tomahawk steaks. They give good value and have good inventory. Their delicatessen is good and their dairy products are outstanding. Their poultry is good.. Overall, it is a very good place to shop for what they sell.

The staff is professional, helpful, polite & friendly and they act as if they actually enjoy working for Stew's and I believe they do. Kids love it because it's a fun store for them too. They get to play with the cartoon like animatronics ( I think that's the correct term for them) and in warmer weather they get to feed actual farm animals that are on site (possibly not during this period of Covid though). Nicely run outside with the social distancing but inside not so much. Everyone wore a mask and most wore gloves,plenty of disinfectant wipes available. Store was spotless. I was happy to go there today as I haven't been to a market in four months and Stews is my favorite market. Great deal on lobster tails this week. Make sure to get yours. You can no longer get your free ice cream or coffee if you don't have the Stew Leonard app which I didn't have but the customer service representative was kind enough to ok it for me. I know it's to avoid contact but not everyone has that capacity on their phone or what happens if your cell battery dies.

Today however we checked out the garden area. Hundreds of plants and flowers, all organized and displayed nicely. The beauty, no lines! Beforewarned, the potting soil and mulch is on a lower level. I love Stew Leonard's!! I come to "The Farm" all the time. They have a fantastic selection of everyday foods. Whether it's steak, soups or seafood, they have what you want. The delicious smell of their breads, which are made on site. The variety of foods to taste as you walk around, especially on the weekends, adds to the overall experience. They aren't the cheapest price wise, but they do have weekly deals on steak and other items in their circular. It's a great place for lunch with their outdoor fast food grill, grabbing a pastrami hero in the deli section or taking a bite from their buffet selection. They mix farm fresh and gourmet supermarket very well. Stop by and have taste! Oh I dont want to forget their liquor market as well! Their selection of wine to whiskey is top notch!! Go visit!!

I've learned to buy an item that is unusual. For example, there's no better dill pickles than Heinz. They sell large jars that I've never seen before - not even in California, where they've covered the market. Thank goodness I bought them two for $5 (something like that). I gifted the other to my precious friend who drives us there. That was around Christmas, and I haven't seen those jars since. Also, they make a cheese and sweet something (can't remember). I didn't think it would taste good, but decided to double-back and give it a try. OH! MY! GOSH! It was so good 😊! She said they only sell at Christmas time. But I'm hard-headed. I couldn't believe that something so good would only be sold on one occasion. Wouldn't they miss sales? That product could bring them more profits... The food overall is good and somewhat fairly priced. But I avoid shopping at this store for two main reasons. The noise and the sense that the overall store is not clean. The noise from the clacking carts on the tiled floors, to the "mooing" to the incessant music, to the machines. It's just noise pollution that makes me want to get out of there as fast as possible. The sense that the place is not clean. The lighting is dingy, the shelves don't feel clean. When you look at the prep areas, there seems to be this sense that all is coated in grease. Some of the signs are old and the whole place just needs a serious cleanup, better lighting and an update. It does not inspire confidence and the country-disney-feel-entertainment of what was cool once, is not meeting the expectations of a more sophisticated shopper who feels "yucky" after leaving the store. I sense many other feel the same way. And the labyrinth-approach to drive more sales, may be a smart approach, but I just find it annoying. And other minor, but annoying item. The tasting stations - was there on a Saturday and only 1 was open, and the food was still cooking...so no samples...and would not have eaten them anyway, as they are on these flimsy aluminum sheets on a wooden counter that was painted 5 years ago. Just yucky.

Who doesn't love Stew's? We came to get our Christmas tree here. They are a little expensive but lots of trees are these days. You pay for 6-7' so get as close to 7' as you can. Mine is about 6'5" and $70. We come to the butcher shop when we want good steaks. The porterhouse is the way to go. We usually grab it when its like $8.99 a pound.

Big selection and nice theming that is great for families. What's unusual is that the layout is linear; you walk through on a path instead of going into one of many parallel aisles. There are shortcuts in case you don't need to go all the way.

On the negative side, I came to fill up a couple of propane tanks and the military is not honored here. The surrounding stores honor the military but Stew Leonard, especially in Memorial Weekend. Remember, one of the reason your company exists is due to those that paid the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Sad that I need to post this, but I took this personal. I received a flyer at home and decided to check it out since i just moved to the area and we were shopping for our first Christmas tree. I would recommend them to everyone! Customer service was beyond impressive - they were extremely helpful and we found our tree! They even had a staff member tying the trees to the vans which is so impressive. I just wish we could have tipped the guys - there is a strict no tip policy but everyone went above and beyond and i would have loved to give them something extra for it.

A little crowded but a great place to shop for groceries, wines, seasonal decor, cheeses and party foods. It can get a little crowded so u might want to go during the week days or at night since they are opened late. There are free samples of food and their bakery is really great.

Sometimes it's only good for a day and sometimes it's not good at all. Baked goods are all freshly made. A deli and a huge selection of prepared foods. In addition they have soft serve and a garden center.

Not sure if the liquor store is same owner. One reason I go to Stew Leonard is the staff are respectful and welcoming to customers. Specially the cashiers and staff, lotto store is ok... And yesterday we bought liquors at the liquor store... There was the lady in front of the cashier in the customer aisle, helping out.. there was no line behind me, first instead of the cashier she gives me wrong price for the liquor.. then instead of stepping back 1-2 steps so I can move to pay by credit card, rudely asks me to go around her. Need little bit customer service training to live up to Stew's standard. Christmas holiday, teach your staff to spread the spirit at least for the season.

This place is ridiculously massive. I particularly like the steak section, where a butcher will cut and package a steak to your specifications right in front of you. Its layout is maze-like, and the singing animatronic band of stuffed animals was a bit much, but I haven't seen many supermarkets this intense. Definitely an experience. Oh and the meat? Delicious.

The checkout boy must have had a double portion of Cheerios this morning because he couldn't stand still and kept gyrating and singing like he was at a Broadway audition. I suspect Life wasn't the only thing this boy was high on. Somehow, the young man managed to bag, but failed to give us the fresh fish I bought for our dinner tonight and with all the gyrating and singing going on we were in too much of a rush to get out of there that we didn't double check for every last item we had purchased. I didn't notice the fish was missing until I got home and although a call to their customer service ensured that I will be credited the next time I visit, it still leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Stew Leonard's needs to be more careful about the personnel they put in positions to interact with their customers.

It was a cross between a grocery store, IKEA and Disney Land. You have to travel through a twisty windy layout with singing animatrons here and there and when you realize you forgot something way back at the beginning you're like a salmon trying to swim upstream. Prices seemed average. Cons...didn't really find any organic produce except a few packaged things...pro got a free ice cream cone at the end and they even had a vegan option! So I'll give them 4 stars instead of 3 for the experience. The staff was very nice and helpful!

Has a variety of grocery items not found in other stores. The best in the area for meats, cheeses,pies,fruits,breads etc. They also have a large selection of holiday decorations and hundreds of Christmas trees for sale. You can purchase alcoholic beverages here in their separate store. I consider it to be the best market in Westchester, not the cheepest but the quality of their products is top notch and worth the price.

Always a great experience inside the store but the parking lot is generally a mess . Customers leave shopping carts up against other cars. The store needs much improvement in cart retrie al. Customers are mostly to blame . I came here to try the cookie dough ice cream and it wasn’t all that. I wouldn’t recommend it. I guess it wasn’t appealing for me because the cookie dough was scooped up from a huge garbage can. If you want to buy ice cream from this location just get a regular vanilla ice cream cone with sprinkles. (Btw- Sometimes the Oreo topping taste stale. & this rating is only for the ice cream not the super market itself!)

I was impresssed to see that upon arrival, the staff were very attentive and made the tree shopping a breeze. For Propane Customers: Stew Leonard's needs to designate temporary parking spaces next to the propane section as only for propane customers. Otherwise customers have to lug their tanks great distances from far away parking spaces. The fact that the propane area is also an "exit" for other customers driving toward the exit makes it even more difficult for propane customers. Shame on Stew Leonard's for not addressing this logistical nightmare.

No markers on the floor, 5 people at the small corn in the cob tray and holding everything up while they stood there and chucked all their corn. Certain customers wearing masks INCORRECTLY without covering their nose ... do they not understand the concept? One man even took the mask all the down around his chin to order food from the employee behind the counter and worse yet the employee didn't even tell him to put his mask back up. Feel it is unsafe there. What a bad showing for the Leonard's.

Today Saturday February 27, 2021, i follow a friend to Stew Leonard's in yonkers to do some shopping for Instacart. We had such a hard time getting the card to work and the line behind us was growing. There was an employee at customer service by the name of Antonia who just never gave up she tried everything she could to help us. Great place to experience! Good deals as well, lots of great choices, most of the time there are seasonal fruits, among olive oils, breads, on and on of delicious treats. The meats are plentiful, if you are looking for aged meats, prime cuts, you'll find it here to. The accent on fresh and aged chesse is an experience to have, pate', water crackers cracked pepper cheese, paired with pepperancinni, dried sausage, soppresatta, proscuitto all great ways to whett the appetite. Next, comes the fish market, again great selection, but as you take turns, delicasies meet you, as well as fun marinettes, great country flair along with country tunes your kids will love, milk, eggs, cottage cheese, dips, blue chips, tortilla chips, the you still haven't reached their prepared cold foods for those late nights, or pressed for time, but the prepare hot foods table is truly a pleasure to the senses, fairly priced, great choices, Oriental, Italian, American, there are main choices and great sides to choose from. Amongst other non-food items cute TY Toys, key chains, nuts, pistaccios along with ice-cream, what else more before also being a Lottery Sales place with a Million Dollar winner! I dont know why there arent any Stew Leonard's in Queens. If you like Trader Joe's, you'll love Stew. The store itself is fun, there are various animatronic figures activated by big red buttons, making the kiddies enjoy the shopping trip. They have a wine store, where they do sampling. They make a lot of items that they sell in the store, breads. Soups. Salads, heat and eat items like ribs, noodle dishes, sandwiches. Their produce is locally farmed, and always fresh. Ive never bought it but they have aged steaks, and a nice fish section. They also have in house activities for the kiddies on occasion. Not sure its still there, but there is (or was) a section outside The store which hosted farm animals to visit.

I love Stew Leonard's! I usually grab a couple sandwiches and some muffins and take them back to college with me. It lasts me a good couple of days! If you spend more than $100 you can get a free ice cream cone or coffee, which is just an added bonus on top of the wonderful and reasonably priced food.

I went to Stew Leonard's supermarket at Paramus mall, NJ, on opening day and it was packed. I was a little overwhelmed. I didn't know about the one way isle. However, I followed the crowd, they were were going in one direction, then I got it. I could go to all the isles to view everything. The singing animatronics is nice for the kids. There is good selections of meat, seafood, fruits, vegetables and hot food. There is wine and liquor, bakery goods, ice cream and yogurt. In my opinion, it's like most other supermarket, except for the animatronics, ice cream and yogurt.

This place is awesome. They have hot foods to buy and bbq outside. Sitting area, farm animals. Inside you can find everything u need and more. Certain foods are a bit pricey but look for the sales. Coming here is always like an adventure.
