Definitely not up to par compared to Scarsdale, New Rochelle, or Pelham Shoprite stores. The produce department seemed messy and had lots of wilted items. Other areas had items stacked in a precarious manner. Also, the cashier was complaining/ speaking to a manager about her break in front of customers rather than doing it after the stuff was rung up. Why hold people up? Super unpleasant. Probably will not return here.

Decent supermarket. Can get what we need. Often have things we use most on sale. Not a fan of the items being piled up on top of themselves during checkout by the cashiers. Its sloppy and makes it difficult to load items on the belt, pay and bag yourself. Did my share of supermarket cashier many moons ago, a little courtesy and care would go a long way to happier customers and a less miserable shift.

Still a very busy store. Many people come to this store most like due to its convenient location on Tuckahoe rd near I-86 and the Sprain Brooklyn Pkwy. It has a large parking lot which is usually full.cash and credit are accepted. Recycling machines are available however they due jam frequently and the store only allows a few dollars to be redeem at one time. There are also a florist, deli, butcher, and bakers usually on premises. The staff are generally helpful and friendly. 11/2022 It's a nice store, great staff, however every single time I visit this store it's stuffed with customers and crazy long lines, almost never any parking. Budget ample time and patience when traveling here and great selection of foods.

The cheerful Valentine's display in the front if the store spread joy all the way out to the street, not only stopping me in my tracks on the way to work, I actually turned around to go in. The V-Day love was so over the top it was hilariously delightful for any year, but especially embraced this year!! I even helped other shoppers pick fun balloons and find the special box of dark chocolate for their loved ones, and there were laughter and smiles that kept me grateful all day!!! Thank you for charging my spirit battery!!!

Truckers if there's cars on the left when you go in be aware that getting in will be difficult since you cant turn wide. If there's no cars the entrance will be cake.

Come here on and off time so parking is easy, otherwise it's a nightmare. It's a large operated supermarket that is constantly busy. Obviously because it's not enough staff, the store can't be kept to its potential. However, it is convenient and it has just about everything you can imagine. Each department tries its best to display items for sale. Parking can be difficult especially when it gets busy. The staff does what it can. Training is very important. Management is average at best. All in all it's a store for all your shopping needs for a supermarket that is. If you go on early or late hours, it's a lot easier to maneuver and to check out. This place has been around for many years. Look for the sales. Take coupons too!!! It's a big store so take your time!

Always busy but they have what you need. I find the seafood counter person very friendly and helpful. Several of the employees have stood out as being very helpful and friendly. I wouldn't recommend this store for a quick pick up due to the store always seems busy. But the prices and selection are always good. With a nice deli and bakery.

Best sales prices of any supermarket and often has sale prices that are better than Costco, BJs, etc. Shoprite has a very good deli and fresh fish department. The shelves are better stocked now and management works to keep the store clean and orderly

This is a huge Shop Rite. There is nothing special about this grocery store other than it probably serves a very densely populated community. You can tell this place does an enormous amount of business. The store felt like they stock everything one would expect at a large, centrally located city grocery store. I did notice the PA system works well, the music is clear, and the announcements are ironically funny as the voice promotes sale items in different aisles but warns customers not to run.

Very disappointing in comparison to other ShopRite stores. Many if the workers are unfriendly and some downright hostile, especially at check-out. Prices are high except for sale items. They are undergoing a renovation of sorts so we all know the customers pay for that big time..There were a few items well priced such as Yogurt and Spring Water,Coffee and flour, all under the Bowl and Basket label . I would return again but I would check the App first for sale items only.Greens didn't look so hot and we're highly overpriced.

Seems to have a problem getting incoming deliveries on specials due to the pandemic. Generally pretty fairly priced and they will issue rainchecks on specials not in inventory. Generally, a very clean store. I am personally not a fan of their baking and this store, although large in size does not always have what you need on the shelf. Hard to find Bounty, Mop and Glow, Lysol products and other items on special at times. A common availability problem exists on these items in many places.

Place can get a little crowded at peek hours...however the parking lot is pretty big.. prices are a bit on the high side unless there are sales....inventory is plentiful..very well kept stock on shelves...employees are very nice and helpful. I would also say quality is also well done there.. overall very good place to shop....P.S if you go at night after 10PM you'll be pretty much in and out the door without waiting..👍

This is a busy supermarket but the prices are good and the staff is courteous and professional. Some of the aisles seem too narrow. The produce selections are fresh and plentiful. The meats and poultry are also very good. The baked goods look pretty good too. The parking always looks full but somehow you get a spot so be patient. Its worth going inside.

Great price/quality ratio- especially if you stick to their specials A year later, I like it even better. This is the only chain store that I know to have increased the range of products and brands. It now is truly a one-stop place for groceries, including many specialty items.

Great sale pricing with well-stocked varieties are, more often than not, sadly overshadowed by a few bad seeds on staff-- hopefully, the management will weed them out sooner than later. Updated from 2 stars to 3. The management got rid of the incompetent and lazy-minded people.

This location is pretty good. Florist is great. Produce and deli reasonable with good selection, fish market is not that big with small selection. Fresh bakery is good though. You can always find at least 1 brand of the item you want on sale which is good. The weekly sales include alot and always great deals

First time at this ShopRite and was pleased with its inventory of different types of foods. The location was huge inside and out, which is why I decided to go to this supermarket for its on-site parking. Also, the place was clean and looked like they are fully stocked at all times. The cashier was nice and friendly, which always makes shopping worthwhile. Overall, will be coming back to this location.

I love Shoprite overall but I've been shopping at this particular location since I was a kid. I love it here. Staff is always courteous and helpful. Store is huge and the sales are always awesome. Parking lot is huge so parking is rarely ever an issue.

I came into ShopRite midday last Friday for their great meal deals. It was pizza bagels, which are quite good, and the store put them right at the entrance. Great idea! I decided to stay for a large Instacart shop and I was happy to find almost everything that the customer wanted. A rare success these days. I love the produce/deli sections as everything is fresh and laid out well. I came back today for the Meal Deal, but it was chicken with two sides. Only the chicken was at the entrance. I got directed back to the deli, but this time it was awful, the myriad of refrigerator cases I had previously appreciated, were now failing to show the sides. I looked a few times and couldn't find them. I waited on the deli line to ask for help, but it was going very slowly - at least one time I saw one of the clerks leave the waiting people and go in the back. I finally caught the attention of the rotisserie chicken man and he came out and found part of the sides. I never found the second side. When I brought everything to the register, now late for work, I had to wait on a 10 person line for Express, which was better than the one for more than a few. The very nice and helpful cashier didn't know what was the meal deal, but expected it would come up automatically if all the pieces were there. He got a manager and she didn't know what the meals were either. I felt like she finally just gave up and rang the items up at the meal deal price just to get rid of me. She seemed exhausted before coming to help me. I write all this in the hope that someone there would get all the pieces that make up the Meal Deal each day and put them into one place with a nice sign that makes it obvious they all go together. And that each cashier has a list of the meals for easy reference. I will likely shop there again, but never order from the deli if the clerk who disappeared is there and never when I'm in a rush.

This place is a little dated, but you get everything you need. Customers are elderly. Workers are friendly. The place has every essential, even gardening. Prices are pretty good. Lots of sales and deals. Be sure to download the apps. I would definitely come back.

Much better than the Shoprite on Prospect . Best times are before noon any weekday. Good customer service when the managers are still walking around the store. I find that the same feeling isn't there on the weekends though. Bakery always out of fresh bread.

It was very late and I needed a few things. Its the only Shop Rite open 24 hours. Store shelves were being restocked and there were palettes all over the isles. Store was dirty looking but they have a much bigger selection then most other Shop Rites in the area. Items I was looking for weren't on the shelves but there was a very nice gentleman who was kind enough to run in the back on 3 different occasions to see if he could find the items for me. Two items he found the third he couldn't. I thanked him then and I thank him again now! Wish all help in all stores were as nice and accommodating as he was. Terrific employee! Parking lot is small for such a large store so you might have to wait for a space which we did even though it was midnight.

Great selection, but staff stocking shelves don't know where other products are located. Management level staff is however personable and knowledgeable. A crowded store is a good sign; on the other hand, it's difficult to maneuver through.

It was my 1st time in store and I felt lectured for not having a discount card and asking for a courteous number. I probably won't be back.

The store is usually well stocked and has some items that surrounding grocery stores may not have at times. The inside of the store is definitely dated and shows it's age. I would not call it "dirty" but it certainly does not feel as fresh as most of the newer markets around.

The employees need to be taught better customer service skills. They do not greet nor Do they thank you for bagging. Not all but many. They are to busy fooling around with co workers. This is not an isolated incident!! Especially with the younger employees.

You will not have a great experience in this Shoprite. Parking lot is always jammed. Insufficient spaces for the amount of customers that frequent the store. It's a smaller store but still has the basics - bakery, floral, deli, seafood section. No hot food bar. Cashiers are hardly ever pleasant. Other staff are not customer oriented. Beware at the deli counter! Good for running in to get a few things, not to spend time doing the weekly shopping.

Open 24hrs every day. They have an organic isle, with some prices being better than a lot of all organic stuff stores. Large parking lot, on Tuckahoe Road Yonkers, very close to the Ridge Hill Shopping Mall. Lots of sales as expected from a well known supermarket chain.

I often go there to shop for groceries. Today, I decided to see about getting my annual flu shot. Filled out consent form, showed insurance card, waited 3 minutes to process. Rolled up sleeve and was done. No copayment, no OUCH, no surprises. Quick AND EASY, I RECOMMEND their service !

The grocery store is well-stocked and the prices are good. It's popular, so there's usually a bit of a wait on the line, and sometimes it feels like you are in traffic. Nobody is overly friendly but they are businesslike.

24 hour supermarket. May not have everything you need but it surely is convenient. Enjoy hearing the funny announcements of sales over the pa. My gripes are with some of the items. All the avocados were over riped and very soft plus I saw a yogurt that expired May 1st of this year. Quality control needs more than a staff meeting.

This is by far the best and, most reasonably priced grocery store that I have ever been to. I've been shopping at different shoprite's for 25 years. They have an amazing array of food also. They are always so clean. The vegetables are always very fresh. The cheese selection is really great also. Most of them are open 24/7. I cannot think of any bad experiences that I've ever had at any Shoprite's in NJ or NY.

The store itself is not as huge as some of the newer supermarkets. The parking lot was mad-house of cars, shopping carts and pedestrians. Once inside the store is well stocked, clean and has the BEST prices in the county. The workers are busy but friendly and willing to help

Great selection of supermarket items, and one of the broader natural food selections in a big box market. Produce selection is a bit limited, but sufficient. Lines are terrible during busy hours, but there aren't enough large markets around to compete.

It's a big beautiful store and the produce is relatively fresh as you can smell the peaches etc. However the Prospect Street store in Getty Square is cheaper. This store is better in that it's faster cleaner brighter larger Etc.

used to love shopping at Shoprite but the pandemic has lowered that desire. Express Line is in the aisle so much longer than the regular. Some produce unavailable for example, cabbage! No longer a sure thing mote like a hit or miss.

The workers and courtesy office staff here are wonderful, polite and so knowledgeable. Terrific sales at this and all the Shoprite's. On busiest days, it gets crowded but understandable. Definitely worth a visit from the Bronx and Westchester County as well. I love going here every week.

I gave 3 stars for the things in the store and the sales they have every week .Honestly I hate to leave bad comments but I truly hate that every time I go there to shop the lines are so so long because they have only a few registers open ,no matter what time u go shopping there it's always busy since it's the only food store around here that's reasonable with the prize. But if u go shopping there be ready to spend at least 2 hours between looking for parking, the shopping and waiting on those long lines.

It's good in general. I know of people that come to this particular location based on the availability of some items. I personally went to the store to buy baby formula, the experience wasn't good at all. The staff was hard to find on the isles so I went to customer service, they told me the formula was locked up and I had to ask the cashier for it. At the cashier I had to wait for a manager to bring the key, I showed him a picture and he went to find it... they didn't have it. All of this trouble for ten dollars worth of baby formula. On another note, the place wasn't clean, I still give it I four stars based on the hours, variety of products, location and parking space. To the staff: get your s*** together.

When the A & P closed near me, this super market changed its hours to accommodate the extra influx of customers it acquired. The employees volunteer and help out once a year to clean up the nearby Sherwood House museum. This place is okay in my book. Never had a problem here.

I absolutely love this supermarket. It is close by, clean, awesome selection of groceries, produce, meats, fish, cold cuts etc. They have great sales and actually have the items, unlike alot of the local supermarkets in my area. I rather take a short drive to Tuckahoe ( about 10 minutes) and be able to purchase everything in one store. Definitely recommend this supermarket and the location.

Always overcrowded and sometimes the wait is horrendous...even navigating the tight checkout lanes and exit is a pain. Many times not one roasted chicken available. However, Produce and choice good so still visit.

Great store!!! Very clean, well stocked, on site bakery! HOWEVER, there seems to be a misconception about the hours. This store is NOT opened 24hours!!!! Store hours are 6am-2am. They close four hours every night for stocking and a thorough cleaning.

I love shopping here at night. One of the older gentlemen that works night shift brings his radio and plays oldies. At night time theres a very relaxed and warm feel to this place. Its the only place i enjoy food shopping at. Prices are reasonable.

Usually long slow lines. less variety of special items such as kosher food compared to other shoprites in the NY NJ area. Even many regular items often out of stock. Only great thing is open 24 hours

24 hour store located a short distance off Central Park Ave in Yonkers . The store has an extensive seafood department, fresh and frozen. The in- store bakery carries a very large assortment of bread, rolls, cakes, cookies, danish, pastry, and pies. The cakes are very creative and gorgeous special occasion cakes can be ordered in advance. Treat yourself to very good old fashioned !°Black and Whites available in two and four packs The Deli is nicely stocked with domestic and imported cheeses and condiments. Their rotisserie chickens are still holding at $4.99 ! Last, but not least, the meat department has just about every cut you can imagine.The skilled butcher's will cut and package special orders for you with a smile.

I came here yesterday 4/23/20 to get a few items. I got in line and waited As the line moved so did I once I reached the cart pathway my cart got stuck in cracked concrete and my leg ended up hitting the cart really hard. I’ve been in pain since that happened when I got home I noticed where my leg was hit was bleeding and and it feels like it can possibly be more damage than I thought. This is not safe when you have many people visiting the store. I can’t even go to the hospital because what is currently going on

Easy to find at the Tuckahoe Road exit off of I-87. Plenty of parking but frequently crowded. Weekly sale items are plentiful. The 48oz containers of ice cream are almost always on sale at 2/$5, brands are rotated. Their own brand is worth a try. If you shop the sales, you can lower your monthly food bills without sacrificing nutrition or quality. Checking out is smooth. Employees are helpful and courteous. Only drawback: exiting is frequently a bottleneck, worse during peak periods.

Unfortunately there are fewer supermarkets to choose from as so many have gone out of business. This supermarket has a good selection of products in general but is poorly run. The majority of the workers seem to stand around doing nothing and blocking aisles. Also, beware for out of date and resealed products. Sad because the volume of people that use this store is enormous.

I just entered the store and went straight to the bread section, and I saw this shoprite worker grabbing the bread (the bread that u see on the floor) from the crate just to drop it on the floor, then stack em on the shelf, I want to record it with my phone by it was kinna obvious, plus I didn't wanna escalate this situation, so I just took this picture. And it looks like he's opening the bag of bread, why? For what reason?
