On Monday, 08-08-22, I called Publix to place an order for approximately 45 cupcakes to be ready for pickup later that week (on Thursday, 08-11-22) and spoke with a very nice lady who worked with a Bakery decorator to answer all of my questions before taking down the detailed order. I was given a price to be paid at the time of pick up and it was easy as that! On the day of pick up, I was greeted with a smile, paid my bill, and was handed the order which far exceeded my expectations when it came to presentation. (I say that because there was some concern on my end with how the cream cheese frosting I specifically requested would take on the colors, Garnet & Gold, I wanted the frosting to be.) I'm beyond impressed with Publix and this particular Publix when it comes to professionalism, order handling, friendliness of associates, attention to detail, value of products, customer service, everything really. It was an amazing experience and I just want to give my thanks to everyone that assisted with my order. Every step of the process was so simple I didn't need to think twice about any of it. The birthday surprise was a huge success and dozens of compliments were received by my Chase coworkers over the deliciousness and presentation of the cupcakes. Thank you so much for all of your efforts. It's the little things like this that keep me coming back!!

I like this Publix I come here regularly. But, an employee named Caylea at the customer service counter, where you get all the lotteries from, at that area. She was very rude, unprofessional, she made a mistake refunding a double charge to my account. She looked at the receipt and said I can only give you the refund back as in cash or as a gift card because it’s a debit card so she went ahead and gave me cash and then I told her it is not a debit card and then she looked at the receipt again and said oh, I looked at it wrong. I didn’t needed a cash. I needed a refund to my card and then when I told her to correct it, she refused to help. She’s not friendly I thought Publix is known for their friendly warm employees, but she was totally opposite. Please fire her immediately. I hate to go there now knowing she’s there.

My Instacart order & pickup was PHENOMENAL! My shopper was thorough & helpful via chat. My husband then picked up our groceries order. It's just so easy! We even earned $12 back for a future Publix Instacart order (a perk because I am an Instacart Plus member). My husband is now a fan of shopping Publix online through Instacart and picking up our grocery order.

This is not one of my normal Publix locations. I know it was late and it was approaching closing. I was not familiar with the layout of the store and could not find dish soap. I asked a clerk who was walking in the store and he pointed to the aisle and said the registers are closing.. I work retail and I know how important it is to close on time and get out. Trust me I can relate. But I would never tell a customer that and I would not expect that from a Publix employee. My checkout was amazing, I was on register 1 and I can't remember the cashier's name but the bagger and the cashier were both great.. The bagger was Michael and he was so friendly and engaging. Asking me if I found everything and how was my night. This is the experience I expect when I go to Publixs.. The manager was holding the door for us last minute shoppers and wished me good night. Not sure if I will shop at this location again,

. The parking lot, however, was not designed in my opinion to get in and out so easily if using the Hillsborough entrance. There is not a lot of room to maneuver and gets very congested because there is a light at this entrance.

It was very nice inside, fish department was clean and smelled fresh. Great sign of great employees. If you ever smell fish, u should skip that place. The employees and Managers were extremely helpful. I had been looking for a particular type of Hard Apple Cider from a Cidery in Vermont called Woodchuck. The Cidery 's www locator showed that Public X carries it but apparently they "carried it several years ago but don't now!!!!". Woodchuck needs to confirm their information. It was disappointing. But it's Woodchuck 's fault and NOT Publix. I'm happy with the store itself.

This Publix has the best customer service and I love doing my cake orders here! I come in look through their book of cakes (they now have a tablet) and 2 minutes later I have someone asking me if I need help. They make doing my cake orders so easy! I have done all my sons school cakes here and today is his Thanksgiving party and I got a pull apart Turkey cake and I LOVE IT! THANK YOU SO MUCH! Thank you for always being attentive and for giving it your all! ❤ GO TEAM BAKERY! 😁

This store pretty nice. Just visiting while on vacation. Coming from Ohio, I really wish we had Publix I Ohio. Like all stores, it's getting kinda pricey but they have good quality food and good weekly deals. Publix is alright with me.

This is a very busy Publix. The hot deli is good, just like other locations. It is also very clean and well stocked. I've never had a bad experience here. However, the prices are sky high! Even the BoGo deals are barely any savings over paying regular price elsewhere, and you have to get 2 items. If the prices were more reasonable I'd make this my grocery store of choice, until then I'll continue to make my main grocery purchases at Aldi, SuperTarget, and Walmart and only come here for the deli/hot case and occasional BoGo deals.

There's a little more you can say other than this was a Publix which means it was a five-star experience. The employees there were fantastic in terms of help. And of course the place was immaculately clean. If you happen to be out on the road and need to take a dump their bathrooms are as clean as they get. And they use nice toilet paper. The good four ply kind. You could make a blanket out of it.

Me and my wife Grace just flew in from Detroit and the place we stay at has a kitchen so we start off at this market to load up As usual nothing but beautiful smiles and positive energy One of the main Highlights was Dean in seafood The gentleman was cleaned up for tonight, everything was put away and as I walked by he asked DO YOU NEED ANYTHING? This man was completely cleaned up and appeared to be headed home but he stopped and said whatever you need I got you❤️ We wanted catfish and Dean hooked us up🙏❤️🙏 I live in Michigan and it's rare to find workers at the end of their day to reopen to serve someone knowing they would have to clean up again Thank you Dean in seafood me and my wife thank you so much The catfish, Shrimp and salad was AMAZING ❤️🙏❤️ The best grocery store in the world 💯

Publix always has the nicest employees. I don't know if friendliness is encouraged or they only hire friendly people but they figured something out. I had a question about a return and called ahead of time. When I came in a bit later Santiago remembered me by the item I had in my hands and was ready to assist. He's friendly and extremely efficient, making the line disappear quickly even though he was the only person behind the counter. I wish I had noticed the young man's name that helped me find butter that was on sale but out of stock where it normally is. He was in the middle of stocking something else but stopped immediately to assist me. He located it on an end cap display but then I noticed him immediately go back to the stock room to refill what was out of stock.

I absolutely love this location and all Publix stores for that matter. However, the lettuce was not so appetizing as I found dozens of Aphids inside two full bags of romaine lettuce (Publix brand). I didn’t manage to grab a photo of the bag from this past weekend but I did tonight when I looked into the second bag. Ugh! So sad but I will not be buying this item ever again.

They have really nice and helpful staff here. Overall, the store is very clean. I will say the meat department is sometimes missing cuts that I would like. Also, the deli department is always very busy. The bakery is very wonderful with delicious items always available. The international section is not as extensive as I have seen in other Publix stores. There is often a long line to check out, which can be frustrating. This is not the best Publix I’ve ever been to but it is very good. The prices are a touch higher than the other supermarkets in the area.

I especially enjoy the buy one get one free items every week and I am signed up online and wait for them to come in on Thursday morning so I can be sure and make my list and get to Publix to get the sale items. This is one of the cleanest and well organized Publix I have ever been too. The lanes are wide open, the isle signs are all easily viewable making this Publix easily navigated even on busy days. They have a friendly staff that is always helpful, also one thing I find really helpful is that they always have cashiers on deck.

Not only was the store organized in such a way that it was easy to find stuff (signs in English), but the staff was amazing at helping me find all the items I needed! My favorite Publix. It’s not just that it’s right down the road from my house, it’s because it truly is the best! Store is always clean and the employees are always extremely helpful. It can get a little crowded there in the afternoons on the weekends but I got in the morning and there’s no issues at all. I’m easily there 4 times a week and love it.

I go to this location frequently and I can usually find whatever I need. The deli and bakery are nice and have a good selection of food and baked goods. The lines aren't usually long unless you go there during lunch time when the line for sandwiches can get pretty long. It's been clean and the people working here are friendly and attentive. They ask if you need help finding anything and ask if you found what you needed when checking out.

Convenient location offering the usual selection and departments as all other Publix stores. Friendly staff which is almost entirely bilingual for those more comfortable speaking Spanish. Multiple parking lot entrances on Hillsborough as well as a dedicated traffic light and an entrance on Sheldon make it easy to get in and out.

Nice and clean store with a lot of selection. I live in Atlanta and this is def a much larger Publix than I am used to. Very nice staff, prices. I got to register and couldn’t find travel size Tylenol and the cashier found out and literally stopped what she was doing and found me travel size Advil instead of the Tylenol that I didn’t want. Then, the girl who was bagging groceries went to get ice for me because I thought it was outside. 5 star review because they went over and beyond. Cashier was Kathleen R, not sure about bagger. Very nice girls with AMAZING customer service.

The employees here are friendly and will bend over backwards for you and offer to push your cart out too. Lol what more could you ask for? They work hard to keep the store clean and shelves stocked neatly. I have heard that this is common for all Publix stores although this is the only Publix i have been to. I am very impressed whith this store and if you have a disability and need to use a scooter they will help you out and drive it back to the store when you are at your car.

This is my home Publix and they are always great! However, chad and Sean knocked it out of the park. Neither work as cashiers- one is from the meat department I believe and the other a manager. They both stepped up and came to help because it was so busy! I’ve never seen it this busy- not even the day before Thanksgiving. What a fantastic team!!

Even though the supermarket was somewhat full of patrons ; I still made it out in a reasonable amount of time , thanks to the fact that almost every register was open . Also , note that there's plenty of shoppers that only have a few items , and they take advantage of the self service registers , even over the 10 items or less lanes , which frees up the other registers . Good job Publix !

Why another review is needed for publix is beyond me. The staff is usually very helpful, the shelves are sometimes adequate for the time we live in now, and they do at least put paper products on sale as opposed to the big box stores which haven't had a decent paper sale since the lockdown. But that's not necessarily their fault. Everyone has to deal with what is available and make sacrifices. I don't notice that often in the publix customer. They want what they are used to and take it out on staff. So unfair. So remember that before you chew out a staff member. They have no control over inventory.

Always clean and with fresh, pretty looking fruits n veggies. Meats r also quite delicious looking, just a bit more expensive then Wal-Mart, meat markets n other places. But, sometimes worth it. 2day was pharmacy 4 me. Prescription was filled n ready within the hour n priced exactly as stated. Free antibiotics. For sure. Get that penicillin.

This is a really great Publix. It's very clean and has a really good selection of products. It even has a very good natural foods organic section up front. One thing for sure about Publix their service is always excellent. Ask somebody where something is and then they'll walk you to it rather than just pointing. I've also had several returns I've had to do over the years that were a little bit unusual but got no flak from them whatsoever. It does get crowded sometimes but when it does they have every register open and get you out as quick as possible.

Sara, and Clarissa from the deli had the best customer service! I visited the deli twice in one week. My first week I had Clarissa help me, she was extremely helpful, and patient with me! Never once showed annoyance, or stressed. The deli was packed and she still did a great job! The second visit I had Sara, Sara was so sweet! She absolutely had the best customer service in publix! Too crowded and very busy. The checkout lanes aren't too bad on a weekday night, but weekends are unbearably long. If you need customer service at the desk, expect a long wait. The parking lot is also extremely busy and crowded due to smaller size. Despite all of this, the store isn't terrible. Its clean. The aisles are a little weirdly set up, but after some figuring out it's ok.

I get off of work late so by the time I get there its 9:20pm.My sub is always great, so great job making my sub and with your customer service in the deli!! What really bothers me is the fried chicken wings. The box clearly says sell by 12:00pm and it's there for someone to take at 9:30pm. I just dont understand why it's still $10.99 when its 9 hours after the sell time. Publix policy should change on that one.

While I am so tempted to give this Publix a 5-Star review - purely based on the people that work here - this place has the world's slowest-moving deli. It's one of the worst things about most Publix' as a whole, but this one is a chart-topper. I've been going here for about 10 years now and the deli has always been an issue; always a wait. Nobody is ever in a hurry, even when there is no line. Slow-moving people, lack of space, the taste-testing every meat is a huge waste of time. It's a disaster and needs to be fixed. Now, onto the good, and there's a lot of it. Some of the longer-tenured employees are like family to me. Friendly faces you see when you go into the store. Maybe it's Gerry and Tia in the morning, wishing you a great day and telling you how look nice. Or perhaps it's Ms. Chris, always ready to make the kids giggle. Jose, in meats telling you what's on sale, or the rest of the excellent crew back in the butcher shop and seafood department - quick with a recipe idea or a suggestion for a meal pairing. Cannot leave out Scott and the rest of the folks in Produce, checking to see what's ripe and ready. Shout out to Mike, the cashier who will call out when he sees you, "hey! There he is." Always ready to tell you why the Bills are going to win the Super Bowl this year - something we can all probably agree on. :) Every store has its flaws, but this Publix is 'my Publix' and it's and excellent place to shop!

The service in the meat department has deteriorated greatly since publix replaced the fresh cut counter. When you need help, you have to hope someone walks by and sees you standing there. And then they sometimes they think you're shopping for the grab and go items. They need to install a call button to replace the worker that used to be there attending the counter. When I inquired about the status of my cut to a worker stocking the ground beef, he was somewhat rude in answering my question. Very disappointing.

When I lived in the area this was my favorite grocery store. The staff knew me by name. It is always clean and well organized. Now, you can order your deli meats and sandwiches online. The lady who was there told me to apply for everything and that my chances would be better, but when I said I had no experience in all the areas, it wouldn't let me go any further, even though she told me I could apply even with a completely different background. Not the worst publix--the store itself is clean and well lit, with friendly and helpful employees and a relatively large selection. Sometimes the prices run a little odd, not matching up with other publixes or being a touch high, but it's mostly fine. A great bakery, and good produce section. The layout can be a little confusing, but not the worst. The parking is not good. They essentially got rid of two stores and replaced them with one central one with a sub par parking lot situated with a very terrible light. Consider entering from a side entrance of the parking lot, and beware other drivers.

Couldn't find my husband and grandson in the store! They had the cart and I was carrying groceries in my arms. A young man I had asked for some information earlier saw my predicament put up a finger and rushed down an aisle. I wasn't sure what he meant but, to my surprise as I was still searching for my wayward guys, when he returned with a hand basket and helped me put the groceries inside. Service at Publix is second to none. Today an older lady ahead of us in line was unhappy that they were out of frozen turkeys. The manager assured her they would have them in the next day and to make it up to her offered her a fresh unfrozen turkey with a sell by date far past Thanksgiving for >free<. She continued to be difficult and her husband (now mortified and apologizing to everyone) kept trying to get her to understand 'free turkey', nothing to lose here. In all this the manager never lost his professionalism or patience. That said Publix has significantly higher prices than other stores so we tend to shop elsewhere for common shelf items but always shop Publix for what they are really good at: meat, produce and a great selection of higher end items.

Upper management is wonderful should you have a concern. The parking is not ideal and on the outside it is a very bland looking Publix. The inside is s bit cramped but it works. Their team members in deli are typically wretched it isnt atypical to watch them fight ( with each other or a customer). Don't get a soup late at night they will leave chicken noodle out even when it has become just noodle. I've seen out of date cheeses being also at the deli (looking at you large stack if goat cheeses). They are a small location so during bogos they sell out quickly. It is convenient for my location but I'm surprised it hasn't received a remodel.

This Publix is closest to my house and is where I do some of my grocery shopping. The customer service is pretty good and it’s usually clean when I go. My problem is with the produce dept and meat dept. Often times the produce is wilted and old. I will drive extra miles somewhere else to get fresh produce and I wish I didn’t have to. I buy a lot of produce every week and I hate having to make two trips to several different stores for what I need bc the produce at this Publix is not fresh. The meat dept does a pretty good job with the meats but sometimes when I go to cook the meat I buy here, it smells and looks funky several days before the ‘use by’ date so it makes me question how old the meat really is. Or the meat will be super fatty underneath, like they try to trick you into thinking the meat is nice and lean until you take it out the package and see the nasty fatty veiny underside. There have been several times where I just had to throw the meat out bc I don’t have time to drive back to Publix w bad meat to get a refund. Also, I think they need a new freezer for their frozen fish bc the Alaskan cod fillets I bought from there (way overpriced too) tasted frostbitten and like they were thawed and refrozen again. Please fix these issues Publix. I love Publix bc it’s all about quality but the issues at this location don’t reflect Publix core values on quality. I will gladly spend all my money here if they start offering FRESHER produce and meats.

My daughter and i love board head turkey wrap from publix,but lately haven't found a good one until today at this publix on sheldon and hillsborough. Alma and Norma at the Deli they was amazing they was their hands and new globes before they start our wraps. All the ingredients super fresh and crispy. We are fascinated with this publix. I am all about Publix, and their subs! I love this chain of grocery stores, it's so much better than your average store. It's like a happy medium from other "meh" chains and Whole Paycheck, oops, I misspelled "Whole Foods". The people are friendlier, they have a whole separate station to make you samples of a whole meal...the sandwiches are perfect for on the go, beach trips, or when you're too lazy to cook all the rest of the food in the store. I only wish their baked goods had more selection. Or it would be great if they had more single servings of cakes and dishes, or just smaller servings so one can have a dessert treat for just that evening, without buying an entire cake. If they had a drive-thru pharmacy, I also would entertain the idea of bringing my prescriptions over here too. Publix is great though, coming from up in the Midwest, we didn't have much in the middle like this. although it is comparable to a Mariano's if you've lived in the Chicago area like we have, but not quite on that level. We will be back, as usual, until we move to St. Pete, then it will be a different location. Can someone tell me why the liquor store for them is totally separate though? Why wouldn't it be connected through the store? Why do you need to go outside and in a separate entrance? Odd to me.
