Reviews of The Souk
vrinda pahuja
Some of the very few stores in downtown Seattle that have Indian groceries. They don't have a lot of variety but you'll mostly find the basic necessities. You can call them to confirm if you they have what you need. The person who answered my call and later helped me with the in-person order was very helpful.
Taha Qaraqe
Great chance to find plenty of middle eastern food supplements and gadgets. Very friendly owner and manager.
I will let the photos speak for what this shop has!
Definitely all kind of spices and pickles. Frozen Halal meat, poultry, okra, Mlokhye, hotdog, and sambosa.
Fresh homemade baklava and delights.
Gouri Deshpande
Great place for Asian (especially Indian, Pakistani) herbs, spice powders, whole spices, rice and lentils. This is a very small but sweet shop. Makes me smile. You can also get some ready-to-cook (only boiling needed) Asian meal packs. Price is slightly higher than the larger popular such shops at Bellevue, but this is much closer and easily accessible for quick visits on days when I don't intend to do bulk shopping or travel to Bellevue. I like this shop and do recommend it.

You know when you go to an international food store and you search around for hours looking for what you need. That was not my experience here! The shop was small and I was looking for several Indian spices . The lady who worked there helped me find everything.. and they had everything I needed. Amazing!
omar khalife
Excellent home made baklava
Rachel Anheier
Incredible selection of spices I couldn't find at QFC or Safeway. They are much fresher (and cheaper!) than what you find at Whole Foods. My car smelled so amazing on the way home. Would recommend, will retun.
Siddhant Atasniya
A reasonably priced Indian & Middle Eastern grocery store in Seattle downtown. The owners are very friendly and they carry majorly all the stuff needed for day to day cooking. One must visit if looking for Indian groceries in downtown Seattle.

I could find almost everything I looked for and didn't look for. I found goat meat which is not always an easy find. It was frozen but I did find it. The shop owner was extremely warm and helpful. And it's in Pike Place Market so easy to get there and couple with your other produce shopping!
Pushkar Pahare
Small south asian grocery shop located in Pike Place market. Been here multiple times and they carry items that is needed in every Indian house hold. They also sell Paneer. This was my go to shop when I first arrived in Seattle.
You can pick up pickles and Maggie along with spices from here.
sambit khandai
This is a very small shop which has pretty much all the regular Indian spices. The price is on a higher side but if you live in Seattle downtown this is the only option you have for Indian spices.
Brad Wayne
Stopped by this place on a whim while visiting Seattle. The spices are amazingly aromatic. If I lived in Seattle this would for sure be a regular place I would shop.
Niranjan Upreti
Small and to the point store. Has all the required Indian spices. Also mango pickle, loose tea(I am irritated by the grocery stores selling tea bags for Indian tea. You can't make Indian tea with a freaking tea bag.) and Maggi!
Sudharshan Chakravarthy
The best Baklava in Seattle, hands down.
Liz Marshall

This shop is not as big as it seems. The prices are spiked up.
Careful to cross verify your bill.
Parle G biscuit for 2.29 dollars was sold for 2 .99 dollars.
Food ingredients like Kolhapuri bhel is also available!
Micah Clark
Very friendly staff, very helpful. Great selection of Middle Eastern foods, wares, and great hidden gem. Absolutely lovely shop 😊 …

1. Bill should specify the items. 2. As major consumable items like rice are packed in small quantities, price is little costlier.
Otherwise store is having good collection.
Beth
Love the market place.. beautiful flowers and great deals
Eswar Lakshminarayanan
This is not an Indian Grocery Store eventhough they have very few Indian Masala's and lentils. It is a Mid Eastern food and Gift place.
Naveen Kumar
A good place to buy Indian products like lentin, dry fruits, cooked food. However, no fresh products like vegetables.

We came here for dinner staples while staying at the marina. They had an awesome assortment of spices and other ingredients. Then we found their baklava and I think it is the best I have ever had. The kind lady who runs the shop makes them fresh each morning and she was adorable and welcoming. We will be coming back to the market for this shop specifically.
