Lots of great sales at this supermarket. I sometimes end up with wanting to buy too much. The prices are generally great, most of the produce is fresh, the hot bar has some good stuff. The staff is very nice and friendly.

The staff has been polite, efficient and mostly knowledgeable of company policy. I give the staff mad props for helping me get my newly purchased (July 2022) ev through their automated wash system without hurrying me. Hint: regen to 0, auto park off and THEN neutral.

Very clean and neat. Has everything categorized the way I like it. This Winn Dixie also reminds of the Rousies right down the road. Easy in and out type of store. And prices are pretty good as well. They got there own brand called SF GROCERS. And I would recommend you get these chips called Spicy Lime. They are my dads favorite chips. And of course dont forget Zapps

The WD store on N. Carrolton is so nice! It's been updated! The Winn Dixie on 400 block of Veterans Blvd needs some TLC compared to the Carrollton location but it is super busy. And, it seems harder these days to keep these large stores fully stocked up.

It's close to go to & I like the fruit & vegetables & the hot bar is ok, would be better if different dishes were offered instead of the same dishes daily. There is now a small salad bar, they also have fried chicken wings, various flavors & overall I like shopping at this location. Management needs to monitor their cart attendants more, there is more empty carts all through out the parking lot than at the entrances of the store. I see them in the shade with their heads buried in their phones or just having conversations w/ each other & carts are all over the parking lot 🙄

Jordan behind the deli counter is what I would call, fora lack of a better term... the man! I gave him my order, wasn't long, wasn't ridiculous, but my man took it and made it happen. When you talk no wasted motion, Jordan got so close to the exact measurements I asked for, almost exactly. Statistically speaking, he got it right on the money the first try. All three items I ordered, perfect! Thanks bro! Needless to say I was impressed and told him I would give him 5 stars and a special shot out on Google!

Winn Dixie is a decent Grocery. For some reason it just never peaked my fancy like Rouses has. They have decent produce. They used to carry Bores Head meat at the deli, not sure why they don’t any more. I used to go there just for that. I will say the employees seem to care little, and who can expect more when they are not paid a living wage. We need to start standing up for those of us who are barely making enough to live.

Brand new, state of the art children's museum. Both of my kids enjoyed it and we spent several hours there. The on site restaurant was really good too and had nice outdoor dining. Free parking and in a huge park (City Park) with tons of other activities.

Winn-Dixie on Carrollton seems like a little island of Southern California or South Florida. The atmosphere is not recognizable as part of New Orleans or Louisiana at all. Its culture is so.foreign in feeling. But, like a Walmart in Mexico or China, it is convenient to be able to.find things you want even though you know they just don't fit....

Winn-Dixie has come a long way. The store was nice and inviting. I love the new look of their produce section. The store was clean and well stocked. My only complaint if you can call it that, is the area to wait in line for the self check out is super small. Other than that I like this place and will visit again.

You can pretty much find anything that is the standard in grocery stores. If you are looking for more vegetarian or organic items, you won't find much, if any here. The prices are lower than Rouses, which is right across the street. I almost never have to wait in line when I come here. There are about 4 self-checkout lines, which I almost never have to wait to access either. The staff is helpful and attentive. This location closes at midnight !! I love Rouses . However, a lot of times ,I come here instead.

This is my go to grocery store. The store is very clean, all the employees are very nice and everything is well stocked and laid out. My only complaint is that it can sometimes be very difficult to find a parking spot, if you park in an adjacent lot the shopping cart wheels will lock up making it very difficult to move groceries to your vehicle.

With my obscenely large basket of modified phase 1 protocol supplies, the amazing woman behind the register was able to scan everything in what seemed like record time. The store was crowded but well maintained. Everything was where it always was, as stocked as well as it could be considering the circumstances.

They are obviously committed to ensuring that customers are satisfied with their purchase and experience. They are amazingly consistent. The environment outside is picturesque. Inside the store, is bright, floors are clean. Food/Deli/Seafood preparation area is in pristine condition. Pharmacists goes the whole 9 yards to assist you..(special thanks) Very thoughtful of the handicap, there's always enough handicap scooters for them. ( special thanks) Customers are provided with fast service and affordable prices. I can confirm that Winn Dixie is committed to providing their customers with the highest caliber of service, an act that demonstrates a genuine desire to satisfy, if not delight, a customer. Butcher department is great with even better prices. My go to place for pork, beef, and lamb. Their deli section is better than most places in the city, as they will eventually get around to asking you what meat and/or cheese would you like. As opposed to most other delis where you have to wait an hour and then beg someone to slice you some turkey on a filthy slicer that hasn't been cleaned in hours.

During a visit home in New Orleans, I made sure to visit the old/new store that used to be on N. Carrollton but is now across the street. I used to work at Rowley Co. which is now a tennis shoe store. I love Winn-Dixie and wish we had it in the DFW area.

My favorite store. Clean and shelves are also stocked. Cashiers are very pleasant and always ask about your day. I travel to the store at 6 a.m. to get in and out. The young man in the produce section is charming and I "mess" with him about the veggie prices. We have a good laugh and carry on with our day. I live in the 9th ward but its worth the travel to this particular store.

Went there today to buy food for myself, my friend, and the community fridges. I put these on 3 separate cards to make it easier on me later but they all go to the same place right away so I bring my own reusable bags. Usually this messes up or confuses people at the register and brings out some (kind of earned) annoyance from the person checking me out, but Terry was literally the friendliest clerk I’ve ever encountered at a grocery store and handled it flawlessly. If I could give her 10 stars, I would. What loses a star is the EXCESSIVE plastic they put in between EVERY SINGLE piece of cheese in 3 lbs of cheese. Why?!? At least ask people if they want that or use paper. Putting it between every piece of cheese also made it take far longer than it should have for the deli clerk, causing people to wait in line during a pandemic. Not cool. Thank you Terry for brightening my day, but I hope the deli reconsiders it’s practice of plastic waste.

This is a well planned and we'll stocked Winn Dixie they have hard wood floors throughout the entire facility the sales are all over the place nothing to complain about at all here. Great staff . and super clean bathroom.... The location is unfortunately on a 1 way street so if you miss your turn you have to go the long way around.

Excellent location with a good size parking lot. Sounds random – but in this city a parking lot with wide spaces is greatly appreciated. However, the inside of the store is fantastic. It's a newer place and the service is always great. The only issue I have with Winn-Dixie is their produce. It always seems as though the quality is slightly lacking and the produce items are overpriced.

The produce department needs a lot of work. They are always running out of things that they shouldn't. Went to get spinach yesterday and there was zero in the whole store. Staff can be very unfriendly. Prices are usually better than rouses across the street. But I prefer the competition, especially if I need fresh produce.

Inside is nice and well stocked but the parking lot is much too small. I spent 20 minutes looking for parking and eventually decided to park in one of the adjacent lots. When I was done the cart wouldn't let me walk all the way to my car because of the magnetic strips. They should unlock those during busy times or move them to stop at the parking lots further out, since I've almost always had trouble finding parking.

One of the representatives for one of the dog treats/food company got into an argument with me about my dog which didn't make me think less of the store. The Winn-Dixie on Carollton is a very organized store with plenty of products. My service experience was very lazy and inconsiderate to say I was in a self-checkout lane. The machine's payment selection option on the screen was unresponsive. I elected help when an associate eventually came over citing simply "what's wrong?" She couldn't resolve it, but said she is on lunch and someone else would help in a bit. Although a 10-minute wait for someone to come to self-checkout to assist, eventually another rep came and said the same thing, "what's wrong?" As the card swiper still said please wait for the cashier being I swiped my card and went through the prompts, she informed "You are the cashier." I told her I know, but the payment portion froze. She vented aloud that she couldn't wait to get out of here, hit some feature to restart the touch screen, though the cc machine still said waiting for cashier, then walked away back to the customer service counter where she had no other person to assist. As I stood there looking at a screen that started up citing the check out is now closed, for a few extra minutes, eventually the first woman came back and said she was sorry, she was trying to help earlier but, was in the middle of her lunch. She informed me to go to one of the cashier lines, but would make sure I wasn't charged twice. I waited in a new line and eventually checked out. As an easy consumer, what happened to "how may I assist you? and acknowledging the issue while staying to resolve it.

Love this WINN DIXIE and apparently the feeling is mutual. Walking in you'll find a clean, welcoming store; full of friendly associates, shopping carts awaiting your use & open cashiers ready to check you out. Grocery shopping is a necessary ill, but when it's required, I find it refreshing to spend my time and money here as it seems WELCOMED. Not to mention, the 10 for $10 offers that are readily available... yesssss!!!!! Can we get all the Winn Dixie's in the area to be of this nature.

The cleanest, nicest Winn Dixie I have ever been in. The parking can be a pain in the butt during busy times though as they share the parking with other little shops and the lot is relatively small. They have a great selection of cheeses!

First, let me just say how amazing their pharmacy is. The pharmacists and their assistants give new hope to stellar customer service. I to agree with Jonathan about the parking and the produce. WD parking is great, but Rouses (across the street) has stellar produce, so there's no reason Winn Dixie shouldn't. Winn Dixie has the "Top Care" off- brand self care product line which is fantastic. I stopped shopping at Rouses because they ditched Top Care in lieu of the "Best Choice" off-brand.

I call about an letter I received from United healthcare about an charge to my health care account.i call Winn Dixie pharmacy about it. She was very rude like I was questioning them. This is a pretty standard grocery store and there are very few rude employees, scandalous behavior is uncommon, and in about 20 trips I have never been begged for money or persuaded to buy a mix demo CD. I get what I want and it's clean for the most part. Produce has been good.

Employees are always polite. I love the Winn Dixie app it makes coupon using easy bc i use to leave the coupons and my shopping list at home but i always have my cell.. the app allows me to make a shopping list while i'm looking through the flyers plus i choose what goes on my list whether it's on the flyers or not sho i don't forget anything. And let's not forget the pharmacy, drop off your script they fill it while you shop..... keep up the good work Winn Dixie. 👍

This is a very clean and friendly atmosphere.The staff is always helpful. I love to get my deli cut meat from this winn dixie at least twice a month. It's perfect if you dont have a car because all the new street cars (trolleys) stop here and the bicycle trails are near by.

I used this Winn Dixie for a Chicken Supper at our family reunion. We had 135 cousins to feed! The planning and execution was amazing. My family raved about the delicious chicken, jambalaya, Cole slaw, corn bread and desserts. It was all fresh, hot and delicious. The pies and bread pudding were to die for. I would love to have that sweet potato pie recipe. It was amazing! Thank you to Pete DeRocha and your wonderful staff for making me look good! Your staff was amazing! Thank you!

They have tons of stuff that you won't find at other grocery stores. Great sales in the meat department and if you don't have a Reward card the cashier can activate one for you or use the store's courtesy card if you're just visiting New Orleans

Very few people in the store,though they are open until midnight.My lyft app kept entering g the incorrect pickup and destination.A security guard from the store actually did something to the app and there you have it.A Saturday night in New Orleans in the aftermath of yet another hurricane and a senior who almost didn't make it home on Halloween night.Pretty scary huh?The people at Winn Dixie are best.

Hands down the fancier Win Dix option in New Orleans. And the cheese selection is something straight out of a grocery store in Paris. I really wish WINN DIXIE would step up to the plate and DEMAND these other business either secTION off there side of a lot or do not park anywhere on the lot for WINN DIXIE customers only. It's ridiculous how these others business allow there customers to come and park in lots thats not affiliated with there businesses. But if that can be worked out like ROUSES demands 20 minute parking for NON ROUSES CUSTOMERS OR YOU WILL BE TOWED AT OWNER'S EXPENSE then I assure those business will not get the customers they been getting smooching off of WINN DIXIE PARKING LOT. Winn-Dixie on Carrollton Ave. is in a safe neighborhood. This neighborhood is undergoing major upscaling. There are a numerous places to eat at and there are coffee houses in close proximity to the store. The parking is great for customers and the Winn-Dixie environment is clean, the food is fresh, and store is customer friendly. Winn-Dixie is sitting conveniently in in front of the world famous Street Car line.
