This Whole Foods is on the smaller size and the variety isn't as large but you are still able to find a lot of the things you need. I also want to recognize Ronald the employee in the deli department who was very eager to help me. I asked for an item that wasn't on the shelf and he stopped what he was doing to help. He found, packaged and labeled some chicken salad for specifically for me. Ronald said if a Whole Foods guest needs something he is going to do everything he can to help. I truly appreciate his kindness and generosity. Whole Foods needs more employees like Ronald.

This Whole Foods on Broad does not compare with the other two here in New Orleans. This location is very tiny, which means less variety. The self-serve hot food section is always gross. The food is always dried out from sitting so long and being exposed to air. I like the small area where you are able to purchase alcohol and such. The prices are great. Overall, Whole Foods on Broad serves its purpose.

Whole Foods is a shopping experience EVERYTIME!!! This location is no different. Love to peruse the store for my intended shopping item & the unintended shopping item. I always manage to leave with something "new to me". Love the smell of fresh flowers as soon as you dawn the doors of this location. Ample ground level & rooftop parking. Always a pleasure to enter. The people who work here are super nice, but I’ve become dissatisfied with the prepared foods. The tuna salad and chicken salad are floating in mayo, fairly bland, and not diced. Once when I went to make a purchase, they were all mislabeled. Can this be improved upon? Is there any quality control?

I’ve been in here before awhile back, not since the new ownership, although i agree with the new ownership because with the prior ownership the prices are really high. Anyway my girlfriend brought back a vegan brownie, and I’m not a big vegan fan so I was like hmm a vegan brownie? When I ate this brownie the texture and sweetness were perfect! It was so delicious! I have never had a brownie as good as this one it tasted like God himself made this brownie it was good af!

There is a fairly large selection of fruits, boxed salads and breads. I was glad to have found David’s Killer Bread stocked at this location. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was able to check out quickly with virtually no wait when I shopped here at 7am, so I do recommend coming early to shop if you can. The store is conveniently located near the Canal Street streetcars, so it is accessible by public transit. I also noticed a bike share located nearby. Overall, I was glad to have found this Whole Foods to do some quick grocery shopping during my brief stay in New Orleans.

I've been to Whole Foods in New York City and Philadelphia and can say that this location is pretty much same as any other in two cities mentioned above. Must be a bit pricey for New Orleans. Staff is helpful and the place looks clean.

It may sound crazy but I have found a wonderful body soap that I truly like at Whole Foods. It smells great and lathers well! You buy it in big chunks which last for at least a month, depending on how often you use it. I use a foam soap for handwashing. They offer at least 6 varieties and I bought 2 bars today, Mango Grapefruit and Pete. I will continue to purchase this soap.

I come to this location because it's the closest to Eastern, New Orleans. I preferably come for the salad bar, which I love except it's could be better. Refilled timely. More of a variety compared to the Magazine location here.

After some adventurous eating for a week plus, we felt ourselves wanting something familiar. Being from Boulder, Colorado, Whole Foods is our jam with 4 locations near us. We read the pizza reviews for this particular location and decided to give it a try. The pizza and the service was A+. When we told the pizza guys, we wanted a whole pepperoni pizza to go, they offered to give us the one already in the oven. Then, they let us know we could eat on the outdoor patio and could find napkins by the door. Truly an amazing pizza with lots of cheese and high quality sauce. We really enjoyed! I forgot to take photos but you know what a delicious pizza looks like!

This is a tiny store, but once I got over my idea of every Whole Foods having to be a huge store with all kinds of counters and stuff, I realized, this store is fine for most everyday needs. I like that its my neighborhood store, and that's what it feels like. Everyone is friendly and helpful. But the real stars of the store are the sushi department and the pizza. The sushi is always on point, just as good as a restaurant, maybe better than some. As for the pizza, I don't understand why it's so good! The crust always has a good texture and is baked just right. Once again, the pizza is better than what a lot of the pizza shops around town have to offer.

I really think this Whole Foods must be under great management. Every employee in there is always friendly, upbeat, and a delight. We stocked up on fruit and vegan treats and it cut down on what we spent on food for our trip since we didn’t have to get restaurant food as often. After an unfortunate incident with a Whole Food associate my wife left the store feeling unimportant and Marginalized. I, The husband called and talked to Angelo. He was kind and listened to my complaint. Angelo immediately put Henry, the general manager on the line. Henry listened to my description of the situation. He said he would call Austin Texas, the home base of Whole Foods, to determine a solution to our concerns.. within less than 24 hours Henry gave us the news of the favorable outcome. . On more than one occasion, she has chatted about cheeses with me and just been such an absolute light in my experience. Being out in the world can feel stressful and overwhelming these days, and to come across someone who seems to have an endless store of positive energy to share is a rare delight. Love shopping there! It's different from any other grocery store I've found in the greater New Orleans area so far. Lots of fresh (good looking) produce -- not like the withered stuff you see at some other chain grocery stores. You can find out-of-the-ordinary items there, as well as hard to get items. It was well worth the drive! And it's also a great place for a quick and healthy lunch.

This Whole Foods is very crowded but still runs smoothly. I love being able to use my amazon prime account to get an extra 10% off sale items. Don't forget to bring a reusable bag so you dont get charged the .10 fee per bag. I found everything that I was looking for and it was all well stocked. I like using the Express checkout lanes to get out of there even quicker. Overall I am well pleased with this grocery store.

I find this store to be a bit unusual for a Whole Foods Market: the selection is limited and I see more conventional brands there than I notice at other locations (though less so over the past year). It's not uncommon that they don't carry items I'm shopping for (and that I can usually find at other locations). It would be helpful if there are more bike racks and an ATM. The checkout lines are frequently exceptionally long, and it can be quite a challenge to find staff on the floor if I need help finding something or have questions. Nonetheless, when I do find floor staff, they are usually friendly and helpful, and I'm glad to have the store in the neighborhood. Being able to have Amazon orders delivered to this location has been a big help. Whole Foods' prices (in general) seem to be a common complaint, but I have not noticed this store being more expensive than the nearby Rouses or Winn-Dixie - I guess it depends on what you're buying.

Note for fellow vegans: read the ingredients! Sometimes things are mislabeled as vegan! I miss Whole Foods! This is the best locations of the three, the easiest to get into in my opinion. People here are nice and the food is consistent. Quality is outstanding. It's also the easiest to get in and out of. Always pricey but I go for the vegan goods and salad bar (as well as the occasional treat or two.) One star for the parking. It's always full and it's a small lot.

Hard to know how to rate this store as far as Whole Foods goes it's not great very little selection and, in some ways, inferior produce. I love the fresh aesthetically pleasing cupcakes. If you’re looking for Organic #YerbaMate #Tea, this is the only place you’ll find it! It gives you a kick with the caffeine and it won’t ruin your smile after brushing with Tom’s toothpaste. They have a good variety of food, lots of fresh produce, plants, and flowers, numerous kind of wines and cheeses, poultry, meat, and seafood. They have good choices of different ingredients and spices for various kind of cuisine. Their chips and other snacks seem more healthier than of other groceries. I love their line of herbal medicines and vitamins, also, Organic products and produce. And lastly, to end a good shopping with a freshly baked awesome pizza and clam chower soup is the cherry on top.

How are y'all so frequently out of so much produce? Y'all are a health food store... Although I find many good things here, I also find the produce is often half rotten. One of many examples: today the only bags of shredded carrots on the shelf were a pile of mush-- one of which expired on Feb 7, the other on Feb 10 (today is March 3). Completely out of all types of kale and broccoli today as well. I shop here once a week and haven't been able to get 365 brand veggie burgers or half and half in approx 2 months. 365 is your own brand, how are you out of it so frequently?!

As with all Whole Foods in NOLA, it costs more to shop here. Fresh pizza and salad bar are worth the trip. This store is a bit smaller than the others, but very convenient for residents in mid-city (and the surrounding neighborhoods) UPDATE I to this store (Bienville and Broad) and the one on Vets, today. At the Broad st store, I bought a SMALL container of mac and cheese with andouille sausage, and a red bell pepper. $15.00! The prices are ridiculously, and unnecessarily high. A little over $11.00 for what amounted to two very small servings of pasta, cheese, sausage and chicken. Unbelievable. I only shop at the Whole Foods store when I need something that I can't find anywhere else. Thankfully, I can find most of what I need, elsewhere. The staff today, was a little indifferent. Blocking aisles or products, and only moving after expressing mild displeasure at being interrupted. The worse thing about the store; the customers. Rude, Rude, Rude, and inconsiderate. Not just at the Broad Street store, either. When I went to the Veterans location later, it was the same thing; Rude and inconsiderate patrons. From the parking lot to the checkout line.

The staff is topnotch as you would expect. Compared to the stores in TX and MO this one feels rather small with limited inventory. Very few samples are given out, and I really missed the the warm, fresh baked ciabatta! What they do have is good, sometimes stop in for a slice from the pizza bar.

This WF meets all of my needs. Great for lunch or dinner, even though the menu is limited compared to the stores on Vets and Magazine. Really like the BBQ/Meat bar. Good selection of coffee. Thanks for carrying French Truck! Staff is always friendly. The salad bar and hot food bar could use a little more attention in terms of keeping it clean (e.g., salad dressing all over the outside of the bottle. Gross. Of course, some blame to the clumsy customer who got it everywhere in the first place). That's my only reason for 4 stars instead of 5.

This place was great to get away from a lot of the touristy fried food. It is definitely much smaller than a regular whole food I have seen but they do have all the things. They did run out of many of the ready to eat food butthere was still enough.

Great selection for the size. This is the smallest WF store I've ever seen, but it has more variety than the ones Uptown and in Metairie. The staff are always knowledgeable and helpful, and this location has Gentilly Cakes on standby for you to come and get! I'll definitely stop by again when I'm in the neighborhood.

I like whole foods, this location is not my favorite. It's doesn't feel like a whole Whole food (pun intended). It's good that Whole Foods is finding its way to other areas of the city. I think this location will get better over time if it can find room to grow.

It's solid. The pizza is equivalent or a notch below the Veteran's location but the wait isn't as long. The toppings are bit limited compared to its counterpart. However, it's hellah close to my hood. So it is smaller than its brethren but it has enough product to satisfy the Wholefood quality.

There couldn't be a better location for this market - the fresh food options have increased drastically since the dark food-desert days post-Katrina, but attracting a new Whole Foods to serve the whole City, at such a central location, and in an area that was not their "target" market demographic was no small feat. Well done Broad Community Connections. Now we finally have a centrally located market that serves is accessible to a wide swath of the City, has a business mission that meshes with delivering fresh food by actually growing it on the premises, and hiring locally. <applause>

My favorite thing about the store is their produce department. Fruit is always superduper fresh which I love. They also have a good selection of hot foods, most of which are delicious. Location is convenient.... right in the center of Mid-City. They have a midsize outdoor eating area and a small indoor eating area. This Whole Foods location also includes a small area in which you can fix your bike. It includes tools and air pumps to assist the shopper who is trying to stay as green as possible.

They have a cake that is to "Die for" not sure if it has a name...lol. It has fresh berries on top and a layer of them in the cake. I promise you will not be able to stop eating it, it comes in 2 sizes and I graduated to the large size the last time I was there.

Ive been inside a lot of Whole Foods. Out of all the Whole Foods, this one was by far the most disappointing. The inside was drab, and lacked that luster you come to expect from WFM. I felt as if I was walking into a Winn Dixie or Food City. The staff however, were just as friendly as you come to expect from WFM. My Hi Ball was inaccurately priced and customer service quickly gave me a full refund as is WFM policy.

My go to grocery store (along w Rouse's CBD). Fancier sélection plus very good prices on basics with their Everyday 365 label. I just don't buy pricey stuff and don't spend a fortune. Good bulk section and decent produce. I don't understand or like some recent changes including the less interesting salad bar and "fattening" up of prepared foods, but it's tasty. Better than a Rouse's and more expensive for it. You can spend a lot here or you can stick the basics and do pretty well.
