Let me start by saying: I love this place! They are like a WholeFoods Market but in Louisiana and have everything you can think of from fresh sushi to a variety of baked goods. There is a good balance between the amount of fresh made food and groceries in this store and everything is put in sustainable packaging! For the most part: great, comfy store.

Dang! This coffee is good! Staying with a friend nearby. I walked over expecting a coffee shop to find that it's in a grocery store. After I realized that I figured the coffee wouldn't be good, boy was I wrong. Yum!

10/14/2022: This market was within walking distance to our hotel. I loved it and wished I could've stayed longer to wander the aisles. What caught my eye was a section of grab and go prepared meals - sandwiches, entrees, etc. There was a nice produce section, a meat counter, and even a coffee bar. Next time I visit, I'll definitely take the time to browse.

It's a great place to grab something to eat whether you choose cold food; with a variety of salads, olives, fruit etc or hot food, pizza, sandwiches, soup or gumbo. All fresh, all delish. Also check the flyer for weekly deals and if you're in the mood for something potent they have an excellent selection of wine, beer or spirits. You'll enjoy the people.

If I lived here, this would be my grocery store of choice. Fresh produce, nice selection of seafood and the prepared food always smells so good (I've only had the brisket and it was very good). It is conveniently located near where I always stay when I'm in town.

I love grocery stores. Though this isn’t my favorite Robért, it’s easily the closest one to home and I’m in and out of here all the time. That hot bar is such a fine spot for grabbing a few tasty fried things to bring home and use for a fancier feast than I’d have otherwise enjoyed. As long as that fried catfish is fresh and fried shrimp is in on bar, I’m going to keep enjoying my quick trips for crunchy treats.

So I’m giving it 4 stars because I really like the store and what they have to offer. However, every time I go to the seafood department (with the exception of the nice lady who works back there) I am waiting at the counter with no acknowledgment. I get it you’re busy working but at least signal your other coworker or -acknowledge that you are coming to help me. The guy legit was looking at me from behind the glass and didn’t say anything. Hilarious. I will say the older woman that works in the deli meat area is nice!

I called the store to see if there were tuna finger sandwiches already made on a Saturday morning. I wanted to order them the day before for a party I was going to but I forgot. The young lady told me there were none already made but she would make them for me to pick up and she would have them ready in an hour! I absolutely love this store!

Robert is my neighborhood supermarket. A little bit higher end, but always well stocked and a very helpful staff. Their salad/hot bar is always excellent. High quality meats and produce. They also often have sales on meat, you just have to watch the specials. Roberts was badly missed after Katrina. I'm so glad it's back.

I stopped by this place due to nothing more than simple curiosity. I haven't been inside the property since the previous establishment (Schwegmans) closed due to hurricane Katrina. Boy was I surprised! This is a store laid out for "browsing" rather than "getting the grocery shopping done". Wandering through the different areas felt surprisingly calm, almost cozy. They have a lovely selection of grab and go food for folks on their way home from work. This includes a sushi/bento type bar, fresh pizza and stromboli, as well as a full salad bar, and more. They ARE a bit pricey, but considering that I felt tension easing as I wandered, well worth the cost.

Roberts Fresh Market is not what you think... It's a bit more! When it comes to grocery shopping in NOLA, nothing beats Rouses. Period. However, this Fresh Market continues to surprise me. It's a very small grocery not much larger then a convenience/mom & pops location yet it's stocked with everything. It's well lit, well kept and clean. They carry a better assortment of products with brands I'm not familiar with but which seem of a higher quality. Kind of like Whole Foods, it's an upgrade in quality but without the sticker shock at the register. Speaking of which, their staff are friendly and knowledgeable. This store doesn't look it from the outside but I gotta admit, the place is just perfect!

I enjoy shopping at this because of the friendly staff and cleanliness of the entire store. 6am opens for seniors is a very good idea and 7am to all as myself. Really love this store. The prices can be higher than other stores more often than not, but the quality of produce and the availability of customer support is worth it. Upon entering the store you should see a table immediately to the left, there will be gloves, and sometimes masks, with hand sanitizer as well for your safety during this Covid pandemic. I also really enjoy the fact that it’s across the road from my favorite bar, the Phoenix, and is adjacent to another favorite, Starbucks. Robert’s fresh market also does cash back at the register to the dollar. So if you wanted to get 3 in cash you could. Just click other when the quick menu pops up with preset prices and it will let you key in a number. If you are a cheese connoisseur and charcuterie expert, this store is the one for you! They have a decent amount of cheeses to select from. All the cool stuff you’ve never heard of like blueberry goat cheese ? Or jalapeño jelly. They do serve hot food and within the store there is a PJs coffee.

It is so great to have that Supermarket open again. It is freaking awesome! It has a deli with a huge variety of different foods, a sushi and pizza bar. They sell Bakery items, fresh flowers that are beautiful, and have a wonderful liquor assortment. It was so very clean and well laid out. There were two security guards that made you feel very safe. My highest recommendation to this wonderful Market.

I really like some of their products, but three and a half crawfish in the crawfish fettuccine? Basically you’ve sold me cheesy noodles with a hint of crawfish for almost 8 dollars. The staff is nice. The store confusing. I ran for the predictability of a Trader Joe’s the day I shopped here. Maybe it’s just my “crazy veteran” that made their store difficult to maneuver.

The Robert Fresh Market at St. Claude is a welcome staple in the neighborhood. Good variety of deli items and cheese selection. Produce always looks fresh. My only gripe is that, as modern supermarkets go, it's relatively small and it shows in the dry goods section. Less choice on the shelves. It won't stop me from going back for quick trips, but it will never be a place I go regularly.

What a great surprise after remembering the old grocery store there. Beautifully organized, lots of interesting products, especially the ready-to-eat section, and a friendly staff. The one drawback is the high price of most everything.

This place was a GREAT find! It’s a mix between While foods and Trader Joe’s. It’s a bit small and offers a diverse amount of things, my one disappointment was there beer selection was rather small in comparison their liquor and wine. Their sushi was awesome and they had a ton of fresh premade items such as salads, pizzas, and sandwiches. It was a great place to grab some items for a simple dinner.

I like the store so far. Primarily the buffet is your draw. We do not cook much and the food so far is excellent with clean environment. Please do not slack on that. Also workers are helpful and patient. One small thing keep the table areas clean with wipes. Sometimes eat there . Just An extra effort would be nicer.

Update: After coming here regularly since it's opening I've found the prepared foods to still be very mediocre, especially at the Whole Foods hot bar prices. I also wish they would refridgerate some of the single bottle speciality beers, like they do the white wine. I also wish they would stay open later, even by a single hour. Upscale grocery with an emphasis on prepared food and a walk-in beer fridge. Much needed, and appreciated in this neighborhood, though the prepared foods are generally only OK. Great craft beer selection!

I like this Robert due to their serving pizza and hot smoked foods. Seems to be larger than the other locations. The self-serve food area here has plenty of flies, but based on the area, I know why. The outdoor seating area is shaded and plentiful in case you purchase food and wish to eat outside.

We live in St. Claude so Robèrts is our go to for grocery shopping. They have great prices on certain items and a little overpriced on others so it balances out. We love getting our produce there, everything is typically really fresh. We’ve had issues with the lobster a couple of times but other than that no problems with their seafood/meat.

On the expensive side but considering the other options I am happy they are there since we went without them for over 10 years. The biggest disappointment is that they break down and trash the hot food before 7pm and that they also close so early. There is really something sickening about seeing that many trays of food being openly dumped into a large container together, especially so early in the evening. It isn't a little bit, either. Tonight there were at least a dozen pieces of stuffed fish topped in a seafood cream sauce being dumped on a full tray of vegetables. In front of everyone. Shameful. While they kick homeless people out that are walking through the parking lot.

Robért's is an excellent place to shop for groceries, produce, beer, and food-to-go. They aren't a supermarket, so there isn't as much brand diversity as a Walmart, but they tend to carry quality goods and craft beers. The staff is often friendly and always helpful. Roy, especially, takes the time to say hello to a familiar face. The location is easily accessible and the goods are of excellent quality. You may even find something your really enjoy like "Hola Nola Creole Chips" or their bakery's large loaves of bread. Good stuff.

It's great having a local supermarket once again after 13 years. Great selection and super clean. VERY friendly, efficient and helpful staff (just get there before 8:30 pm for the mad rush to close up the store). Prices are a bit high but granted, the store underwent a 110% reconstruction with many additions, so . . . that has to be paid for. Just look for the sale items, which they usually have on some proteins, produce and other staples. I hated that there has been no fresh okra the entire season (we ARE in NOLA, lol!) but luckily i came across a street-side okra sale the other day. I bought enough to pickle and freeze for later. All in all, it's good to have them back bigger and better than they were pre-Katrina.

I wish you guys would get a better boil master. Every time I get the boiled shrimp they are overcooked, and the shells stick to the meat. They never peel easily like they should. I mean, it’s a little thing but that’s where the ‘love’ is (or isn’t). Come on Robert’s, you can do better.

I’m from Florida and this is my second time in NOLA BABY 😂 I absolutely love it! Robert Fresh Market is a vibe, the employees are really nice and the customer service is on point. Soon as you walk in you will be greeted by an armed Allied Universal officer and he definitely makes you feel safe! No need to worry about mask because, soon as you walk in mask 😷 are offered to you free of charge with gloves 🧤 and hand sanitizer. If you have a hard time finding where it is located just look for the Starbucks on Canal street. Also, if you are an investor there are two empty buildings For Lease great area for either a Chipotle or a BurgerFi 🤔. If you are here in Louisiana and near the 70117 zip code you’ll find whatever you need! 👌🏾

Things are expensive, but if you look in the right places you can get a deal...the meat counter always has on the bone chicken for .99. Theres usually a nice steak marked down 50% in the cooler. It's more convenient than driving to rouses. 🙂 …

Small little store. Doesnt have everything but great little place . If you like coke products they dont carry it . Also if you need Dental floss they dont carry it. Great wine and beer selection. Great prepared food but we have bought some prepared food that was very sour smelling and had to throw it out ,bought the same day .Also the already prepared fruit is always so sour or it has too much of the preservative they use, after numerous tries we just dont buy it anymore and we cut our own fruit. Great Cheese selection.

This store has lots and lots of groceries, fresh produce and a deli for all of your fresh cut meats and cheeses! The cashiers are very friendly and helpful too! I'm from out of town, therefore I can't compare Robert's to other local grocers. However, from the perspective of someone from a small town in Mississippi that has exactly 2 grocery stores to choose from (one of them being Walmart) I can tell you this place is fantastic. The choices of freshly made meals and bread is mind boggling. My wife and I have visited New Orleans several times in the last year and we always stop at Robert's in the way home to pick up treats that we just can't get in our small town in Mississippi. Several versions of quiche, stromboli, fresh made sushi, several different breads, and the Creole jambalaya is almost as good as any you'll find in the French Quarter.

My go-to grocery store, but has any one else had problems with trying to get milk that isn't spoiled? I'm amazed that this is my third time coming around to buy another spoiled carton, I don't think the fridge is cool enough. Rev for location w/ everything & more at the Robert’ loc’d on St. Claude. They vary location to location. St. Claude is the 1st (pretty sure, & is superior to the others. They have good “close to homemade” food prepared, nice helpful employees. Something about the Italian French Bread (twist bread w/ sesame seeds) made fresh in the bakery. It stays soft moist & fresh for 5 days in my kitchen. Everything made at this location is far superior than the locations throuhout out the city. My fave grocery store w/ the freshest meals. Its a single guys dream iliving and eating A single guys dream (one who cook) ive never turned my stove on in 2yrs . Robert’ has had everything I wanted & needed during this time. Ive never felt or thought of grocery shopping anywhere Ive never had any reason to shop grocery anywhere else.. thank you, Robert’
