Hot line seems very "cook as needed", so freshness is great. Nice small store, lots of offerings. However coming from a chef, they didn't have any idea what type of oysters they were using in their po boys. I guess ultimately doesn't matter at a spot like this. No disappointments.

Best store for cheese steaks, chicken tenders. Catfish breakfast. Surgically clean. Good selection of beer wine and booze. Also knives and phone accessories never know what you'll find at Brooks!

I've been going to brooks for over 20 years! It's still here even after all the storms. I'm not sure if the owners are the same but I can't say anything bad about this place!

Impressed by neatness & size of store. I've tried a vip ham po-boy; very good. I liked their fruit; which is usually not available at these types of stores. Problem; the store and Hardin Park seem to attract negative activity.

This place never disappoints with their food. From the breakfast to the sandwiches, and the price is right. they represent the best of New Orleans. I go for the Shrimp Plate, and the Roast Beef poboy is hands down the most flavorful.

Great guys, excellent Southern/Creole/Seafood takeout meals at a decent price! Where the workingmen get their breakfast! Grits Made Right! Fried Oysters! Chicken Wings! Po-Boys! Damn, what more could you ask for???!!!

It's a Small down store that serves really good food like shrimp Po-Boys and hamburgers four times the size of McDonald's and the prices are right online

The food here was really awesome but the wait was really long that's the only thing I did not like kudos to the Cook but if y'all could get that line down and wait that would be awesomely amazing my chicken plate hot wing plate was really really good but y'all need to get that line together and then wait thank you so much for the amazing food and for accommodating my all drums request the manager was very kind and nice
