Honestly great service at this store. For an old store in a big suburb I really like this store. Friendly staff who act happy to help you. I usually find almost everything on my list when I shop here. More of the chain grocery stores are beginning to react to culturally unique foods and this store does a pretty good job for not being a green grocery store.

This review is more about the grocery store shelves and selections. With current worker shortages and supply chain issues. The shelves are not as full as they should be. The store is great and worthy of 5 stars. And I hope someday soon it will be there again. I went into the liquor store part and asked for a dry red wine. They sent me to the cooking wine section.

I have been shopping at this store for 25 yrs and love it. The store has suffered like all business's with turnover from employees who realized that having a job actually means working! I've seen them come and go. However management and many of the steady employees are exceptionally friendly and helpful as are many of the young people.Im sorry you had a bad experience. I for one love this Cub!!!

We shop here often as it is convenient. It is a full-service location featuring a: pharmacy/liquor store/Huntington Bank walk-up. The store is typically pretty clean/well-maintained. Employees are helpful...and...friendly. They quickly open extra check-out lanes when they notice long lines of waiting customers. Many employees have worked there for quite some time too. The produce is very fresh...as are the bakery items. I've noticed what many others have noticed while grocery shopping: elevated pricing. Their store brand items are now almost exactly the same price as their name brand counterparts. Many items have been out of stock/very low stock for months. Neither of these issues is solely found here...for sure. Supply chain shortages continue to contribute to higher prices everyplace...unfortunately. Otherwise...selection is usually pretty good. We also take advantage of Cub Rewards by adding electronic coupons to our card...and...enjoying the fuel discounts. All in all...any Cub Foods location is almost-always a solid option for grocery/basic needs shopping.

This Cub is average at best. The only thing that takes it from a 2 to a 3 is the produce section seems fairly well stocked compared to most discount grocery stores. The deli is just ok, at least the employees who work back there are usually pretty nice. The food in general is overpriced, the lines can be long and the cashiers rude on occasion. I understand it’s not an easy job as I’ve done it myself but consistency is important. It’s impertinent to greet some customers and not others. Or in some cases, not respond at all when asked a question. This is unacceptable.

This has been my go-to grocery store for a couple of years now even though its somewhat of a drive for me. Recently, I've had two occurrences of produce going moldy within a day or two of purchase so I'm beginning to doubt their overall quality.

I have high respect for essential workers so I watch the work they do and make sure I am cheerful during my interactions with them. I watched a cashier consistently initiate greetings with customers ahead of me and when it was my turn, silence. I greeted the lady first with a "Good Morning" which she reluctantly responded. As I bagged my groceries, I could hear she went back to initiating greetings. I hope its a fluke but I also believe consistency is key in providing a positive customer experience.

Great store. Great variety of name brands and their products yet. Terrific bakery, produce, deli. Meat department is improving. Do not like that they do not carry packaged Lipton lose leaf tea any more. Make my own ice tea and use at least 6 packages in the 3 months of Summer

A really great local supermarket with everything you could possibly need. The produce is really wonderful, even tried grilling their Mexican squash which was delicious. There are lots of gluten free items to choose from which is great because I have three in the family. Unfortunately the gluten free items are quite scattered throughout the store so you will need to keep a look out as you walk through the store.

Good place to shop, reasonably priced, though not the lowest, yet not bad also. Rewards program is not very good compared to other places. Unless you spend 100$ you will miss the 10c off per gallon gas discount. It is not prorated like other places. Other than that, it's a decent place to shop. Good middle of the road option because of the plenitude of locations.

It's a grocery store... Always clean with well stocked shelves, a good selection, thought out layout, and helpful employees. Sometimes when they are really busy they don't have enough cashier's working, even though some of the lanes are available, no one is working in them. Still the best grocery store in the area.

Over the years I have shopped at a number of Cub Foods locations. This location far exceeds any other I have ever visited. The store is kept very clean and the staff has always been extremely helpful. I was recently checking out when the cashier, Amanda noticed the cheese I had selected appeared to have some mold on it...She pointed it out to me and told me to go ahead and grab a new one before I leave. I don’t think the staff at many other stores take the time to actually look out for customers like that. I highly recommend this Cub Foods. UPDATE: THIS LOCATION WILL NOT ENFORCE THE MASK POLICY. ALL MOUTH BREATHERS ARE WELCOME HERE. COME SPREAD YOUR COVID COUGH THEY DON’T GIVE A DAMN AT THIS LOCATION!

Great grocery store, I don't need "fancy" at a grocery store considering I'm going there to buy food, not look around at decor or whatever (Andrea, if you want fancy go to Byerly's or something). If I had a complaint, it'd be that it seems odd that inside the front entrance there's the frozen and refrigerated goods and then everything else on the other side of the store. But I don't mind, I just go in the entrance where the liquor store is. More parking spots available on that end anyway.

It's a store for food. Not awesome not over priced on some things. But I don't have a ton of choices to pick from. It's a means to and end. Their bread section is lousy yes I said LOUSY, their doughnuts you might as well buy them at a gas station. I do like their produce it's fresh and well stocked. But not a place if your looking for anything that is not white middle American.

I took my dad and Aunt shopping there today around noon. My dad was looking for something special he liked in the bakery and he couldn't find it. My dad continued on his way and the young man approached me to ask if he could help me find something. I tried to describe what he wanted, he knew right away what he needed and went back and had them baked awhile we shopped. On our way out another young man from the bakery came up and told us when we get home we should open the box so they don't get soggy. Two people went out of their way to make this a wonderful shopping experience. Clean well stocked store with awesome customer service!! Thank you!

I like Cub Foods because they have an incredible variety of fresh canned boxed and Frozen groceries. The one thing I can never figure out is why they have the fresh meats refrigerated products and Frozen Foods at the beginning of your shopping experience. Logically if you grab the Frozen and refrigerated stuff first by the time you get to the end of shopping for your canned and boxed another sundry items your Frozen Foods going to start to thaw out. Just doesn't make sense the way Cub Foods have their stores arranged.

This Cub Foods in Edina it is always clean shelves are always well stock and their Associates of very friendly. I recently stopped in today Pharmacy and I have to say hats off to the entire pharmacy staff especially Tina who went above and beyond to get me the vitamin Supply that I needed green tea fat burner if I get her name wrong I do apologize.

Was your average Cub Foods, especially on a Saturday. It was busy and seemed very clean. The register wasn't working at the deli which we had gone in specifically for. Instead of asking someone for help we were made to go stand in line to check out. There was no one in the floral department where we were directed and there was no backup help in the deli department. So the young man working wasn't prepared to deal with any technical issues.

Big store, more stuff then Walmart or Target. Very good Deli, and bakery. Fresh meat with Butcher on duty during day. Fresh produce really looks pretty good. Produce can still be perfectly fine but not presented well can appear un appetizing. Walmart? Quite large again as in previous reviews might be hard for people with limited Mobility. Really like this store just for the varieties they have they don't have any other stores. Mid-price range between super box stores and the likes Byerly's and Lunds. Liquor store, Bank, Pharmacy, and fresh cut flowers in store. Doesn't make much sense to go to big box super stores to save a few dollars and not get what you really want. Which in my case usually means something the excellent Bakery or the excellent Deli far superior to the box stores. Have specialty items in ethnic sections that you might find interesting they don't have in big box stores.

Good selection but smallish footprint store. This is the store for a weekly trip but not the monthly "stockup" trip; for that, you'll want one of the big Cub Foods stores in Eden Prairie or West Bloomington. Store has full deli, bakery, butcher/meats counter, with freezers and dairy section about 1/2 the size of the big stores. Good service, lots of foot traffic. Bus pulls right up to front door!

A significant portion of our food shopping is done at Cub. It is a mainline store, Walmart is often cheaper but often has less choice and sometimes inferior produce. Whole foods and Trader Joe's are fun visits but not for our every day buying. Club's sale prices and gasoline discounting with Holiday Station Stores keeps us coming back.

Pros: They carry King Arthur flour, which Kowalski's doesn't for some reason; and they carry two-pound logs of Tillamook cheddar, the best US-made cheese I've ever had. Cons: Cans of food here are often dented or battered; I think that's harmless, but I've read enough stories of Victorian explorers to wonder. The fruits and vegetables aren't the best here either, in either freshness or variety. But still, Kowalski's doesn't carry King Arthur flour, so I honestly went here more often than not, back when I was in Minnesota!

Friendly staff! The selection is very good and the layout of the store is pretty straight-forward. I love that it is 24 hours so I can shop after dinner or a late shift. I love shopping late to avoid the crowds!

I shop at the Bloomington Cub frequently. I cook a lot from fresh, so I shop several times a week. The produce and meat sections are freshly stocked 99% of the time. Markus got our ground beef tonight, packed up separately for two recipes. Shelby always hooks us up with cut chicken when we need it. Wendy is keeping us updated with our favorite decadent pumpkin bars and when they're coming. Josh went the extra mile when the pre cut and washed broccoli spot was empty, returning with 2 bags for two recipes. Jeff keeps us updated with the stevia orders and special rice orders. Amanda is always friendly and knows what we buy. Virginia always knows we do split tenders and chats with my husband about the vikings games. Chase is always friendly and chats with us like old friends. Shawna always welcomes us and is happy to grab what we need. Jon and Mike had my back and kept an eye on the customers who harassed me. I rarely shop at supertarget anymore because Cub has almost everything food and health/bath related that I need. They have good management because they have great employees. Good management takes care of its employees, who in turn, take care of their guests. And that's why I love Cub. I feel like a welcome guest. I'm still getting to know the newer employees that I don't know their names yet. The only thing I could suggest for improvement is that all cashiers mention charaties like St. Judes and others at checkout. Like how Virginia mentions when there's a 'round up' charity. I'm a donator, and I know there are others who would donate if they knew about it. Often there are tear off donations, but not every cashier mentions them. I'd suggest all cashiers take Virginia's mention, beyond the 'round up', and ask every customer if they would like to donate $1, $3, or $5 during tear off donations. You would be surprised how many people donate even if they don't make that much. Oh, and by the way, I enjoy the savings with Cub rewards and discounts on gas. I can fill my car for under $30 from empty. Sweet. Big shout out to the management and staff that makes Cub great and keeps me coming back.

This Cub is real close to my work and I enjoy to buy grocery and other stuff from there. There is one item that they sell in the frozen /deli meat section that nobody seems to sell(including other Cub foods), they sell this big beef jerky packages which is roughly $8 for a 24 oz bag. The only weird thing about this beef jerky is you have to refrigerated it after opening it...What is the point of beef jerky then !!!!

Good grocery store. The staff in the bakery are first-class/world-class! I wish there was a better organic selection like in the other Bloomington CUB off of France & Old Shakopee. Catering to the neighborhood, there is a big selection of multicultural foods, especially compared to other big grocery stores in Bloomington. They have a liquor store (now open 7 days!) and the grocery portion of the store is open 24x7.

The Apple Valley store has gone through a remodel in 2017. Unfortunately, it seems they are out of stock on many of the items that are on sale each week. I stopped going there unless it is a dire emergency.

Cub seems to not be keeping up with their competition. Hy-Vee is making a huge push into our market and their customer service and variety of products is way ahead of Cub. If the prices aren't lower than their competition, they need to provide equal to or better service (e.g bagging my groceries).
