July 27, 2022 Wednesday afternoon The place was packed with shoppers today. I think the Colorado peaches were the reason. 20 pound boxes, single peaches to pack yourself, and little plastic totes full of that rich, very tasty fruit. We spent about a hundred bucks today. Peaches, hot dogs, top sirloin steak, potato salad, potato chips, Yukon gold potatoes, and a great big red onion. That place has a lot of reasons to stop by.

BoBs is a local best kept secret. There is always something delicious lurking around here. ♥️ This trip got me my favorite mushrooms and MN grown green onions for my pasta dishes. I also picked up some fresh rhubarb. This location is easy to find, small but cozy, and the staff is absolutely wonderful.

I love shopping there, and the variety of items you don't see very many other places. I would love to shop there all the time, however, in my opinion and only living on my disability check, their prices are quite a bit higher than most places around here. Their meats are very good, so are worth paying a little higher for that. Some prices are just way too steep for my budget. If I brought in a million dollars a year, I wouldn't care. I just can't justify their prices on my budget. But that's just me. As far as quality, it's all Top Notch!! Always good!

Made the much anticipated annual trip across the entire city to pick up a case of Colorado peaches. YUM! Always worth the drive, but this time was extra special. In a world where stores and shops seem to have forgotten how to be friendly and welcoming, Bob’s staff has not. The customer service was spectacular. One young man in particular went above and beyond to be of assistance. Without our asking - and although he was clearly busy - he began opening peach cases to show us the product. Then he insisted on placing the case we chose into our cart himself. Everyone from the deli crew to the cashier - and between - was great. Heading back again this week, and will likely be making this trip more often in the future.

I would give them 10 stars if Google would let me. Lots of fresh produce and a meat counter that's knowledgeable and friendly. It's my favorite place to shop for fresh produce and meats. Been shopping there for 10 years.

This is a really cool place! Lots and lots of very fresh very good looking produce and the workers here sincerely like what they do. The prices are not too expensive and everything seems like a great value. They have an incredible deli and meat selection and their fruit looks fantastic. They put a lot of time into making sure the place looks beautiful. I was very impressed and I will definitely will be back! Five stars!

This is the perfect place to shop when you are looking for seasonal fruits and very affordable stuffs. They sell mostly stuff that are near or past the due date also overstock from other stores.

They have a good amount of local produce. The dill is great. They also have a lot of other Minnesota brands. Like Reds Pizza Sauce, Green Mill Pizza Sauce, Seasoning blends from local businesses, etc. The workers and customers seem relaxed, kind, and approachable. The veggie selection was a little less than I had hoped.

Really friendly, helpful staff! Very wide selection of produce, as expected. I love the deli, bakery, and service butcher counter. Many unadvertised specials and unexpected items! One of the ONLY places I have ever seen fresh morels during the spring season. Large amount of lunch traffic for the deli so, stop in early. Excellent price for some of the best fried chicken around and some great desserts too. Occasionally have great deals on pre cooked racks of ribs. They have incredibly good croissants too.

Absolutely love this place!! Often times I find myself stopping by here on my way home from work to pick up some tasty treats. It may seem like a smaller store on the outside, but when you get in there you'll find that there is a pretty decent selection of things to see and purchase.

Last Sat I purchased a small box of beautiful red tomatoes. On the box it said Mucci tomatoes on the vine. I've had them now for a week & they are still hard, no flavor. I'm surprised Bobs would sell a product like that.

Hear ye hear ye hear ye, I tell thee a tale of meats and produce beyond a mortal minds imagination! Come and try their ham, it's so good it'll drive a sane man to madness. A pear I bought here was so tasty I could see a new color I can not describe for a short amount of time. Best deli and produce in the area, total mom and pop feel with a good selection for anyone who knows how to make a meal. Great bakery too.

Excellent place, but it's important to note that the name is really what it it is: a good place for produce. They do see plenty of other grocery type things, but fresh stuff is their specialty so don't expect a full grocery store selection. They have an outstanding salad bar, though I'm not sure what it's status is with everything the way it is these days

I am a regular at Bob's. I always buy more than I plan. The fresh produce and fruit is great. But, they also have an excellent deli counter. The fried chicken is fantastic. The Ranch Delux potato salad tastes like my grandma's. And, they have real butchers who can actually cut a piece of meat to order! Try finding that at a regular grocery store! Everywhere in the store staff are friendly and professional. I feel that people who work there take pride in Bob's. Best grocery store ever, hands down. I wrote the original review years ago. Bob's is still the best!

It has been years since I've been to Bob's Produce and was so pleasantly surprised at how nice of a store it still is. During this virus pandemic, it was refreshing to see that they had plenty of stock and how nice all the employees were/are. I was able to get hamburger when my local grocery store was out, they are the same price too. Their produce is cheaper and better looking too. I wont be gone as long next time, they'll be getting more of business long after the virus is gone. Keep up the great work Bob's Produce!!

Bob's is one of best produce/ Supermarkets left that is not a big box store. They are family owned and sell more Minnesota raised products than any other place. They have a old school deli and bakery and the food is great. There prices are fair and the quality of the product is top notch. I also think the staff is fantastic. We need to support shop at and save local gems like this place

We recently moved into the area and I had been searching for good quality produce at a price that was not exorbitant. I have now been to Bob’s several times and the quality has been high consistently. The meat counter has also been a pleasant surprise. The prices are in line with most other grocery stores. Customer service is excellent. I now drive the extra distance about once a week.

I love love love Bobs produce. Fresh food, homemade treats and side dishes, as well as common food essentials such as but not limited to; milk, bread and juice. Bob's is a nice cozy little shopping place. I love going here to shop for quality produce and most times to grab a bite to eat.. they have a great hot food selection that changes daily. The staff are patient and lovely to be around and the food is pretty good. The prices are not inexpensive, but it's not outrageous either. Probably one of my favorite "hideaway" shops.

Amazing place. Best butcher counter I've found in the area. Excellent selection of fresh produce, fruit, vegetables. Specialty items available that are hard to find elsewhere. Deli and bakery items are amazing. The daily salad bar is great for lunches.

best donuts in north metro, possibly the state. Entire bakery is awesome, to be honest. Nice produce department, but it is the meat department that is the star, in my opinion. Their bulk Italian sausage is one of the best I have ever tasted. Their meats are very good quality, and their sale prices make them a great deal. And their employees are top notch. I shop Bob's Produce at least once a week.

Always has things on special and a good combination of dependable familiar + something new & interesting to check out.

They have a great salad and sandwich bar. They keep everything full and fresh. They also have soups and chili. I made a turkey sandwich and a cup of wild rice soup. The sandwich was charged per pound and the soup was a flat fee. The turkey was super fresh, the soup could have been seasoned a little better. The prices are on the high side, but it was a good fresh lunch, better than a fast food place.

Nice little grocery store. They have good produce and it looked like a meat deli too. Looks a little shady as you pull in there's a big empty fenced off area that looks run down. The staff was super helpful and even helped check our peaches to make sure they were all good.

Found this place after witnessing the local Walmarts idea of a produce department. This place is big lil place.... very hometown feel for sure.... I came in right after they opened... first thing that hit me was bread, in the oven bread! They do have a variety of produce, and it was exceptionally better/fresher than Ghettomarts. The only reason for 4 stars and not 5.... with a name like "Produce Ranch" i expected more...but again the name forces the assumption of "more" Employees are very friendly, prices are a bit higher but expected. Ill definitely be returning next time im routed back through town.

Great local place for food. They have a decent salad bar, meat, and produce section. Grocery items are a bit more expensive than corporate stores, but worth it to support local small business. Friendly employees and awesome peaches when in season.

This is not your run of the mill big name grocery store. There are many more specialty things going on here. But personally, I most often go in for the deli. There are great, quick eats at the deli and bakery, not to mention the gigantic salad bar, and the soups, too! Go check them out. Great people, and some really great buys that you can find, too.

This is a wonderful family owned business since the 1950s. The produce department always has perfect produce a lot that is from local farms in the area. How long has it been since you were in a actual meat market where they butcher the meat themselves? It is wonderful to be able to get steaks cut to what you think is perfect thickness. They make their own beef sticks and smoke them on site. Everyday during the work week you can go in and eat at their deli or have a fantastic hand carved meat sandwich which varies Monday thru Friday. Can't think of a single reason not to come join the rest of us shoppers for a great lunch followed by picking up your groceries.

The freshest and best produce around hands down. You will not find it better or more reasonably priced than here. The meat department is like getting it straight from the butcher because you are. Large parking lot for easy in and out. Large soup and salad bar for lunch or supper. Its like a large farmers market indoors. I highly recommend a visit here.

A good place to get a chicken dinner ect for around 6-8 bucks from their deli ,they also have good salad bar.Beats McDonald's and they have a seating area.You can also buy Canadian sunfish at the meat counter,you have to ask for it.

We love coming here for steaks and burgers. The NY Strip steaks are very tender and delicious and cut to the perfect thickness. The 1/4 beef patties have the perfect amount of fat in them and are the perfect thickness. I grill them up in 9 minutes and they turn out perfectly every time with no guesswork on if they are done. Bob's skin on hot dogs are the best anywhere we have found. The staff is always friendly and welcoming.

Had to pick up Mountain Gold peaches just arrived. Wonderful. Helpful and cheerful employees--was reminded to take peaches out of plastic bag when I got home. Arrived during last hour of business. Part of closing procedure was to remove fresh produce from shelves and put in cooler. No wonder their produce always great quality. Stopped at meat counter. Chicken leg & thigh combo hard to find anywhere else so usually get some. They will package separately if freezing part of order. Thick pork chops should be tasty as well.

On point spot for all the good eats. I shop here multiple times a week and love many of their products. One of the best hot sauces around with their fire roasted... Tons of good stuff at a great price like the cheese hash or twice baked mmm... watch sales etc for MN grown goods as well as many other specials.

This place is awesome! Fresh produce. And you can have lunch here too! I think thats the best part because you can make up your own little or huge salad lunch from every kind of fresh fruits, vegetables & deli item you can think of. Load up your plastic tray with what you want then they charge by the pound. Friday is $1 off so that's probably the best day to go. I really like this place.

It has a neighborhood corner grocery store feel on steroids. My new go to grocery store.

I personally love this store. It reminds me of a small town grocery store. They have an online weekly ad with good sale prices. The staff has always been really friendly. They source locally quite a bit. Its not the store I buy paper and cleaning products etc. From but in my opinion they have top notch meat, produce, and deli!

I'm so sorry .my stars were off on my review. BOB.PRODUCE. one of the BEST. To buy any kind of meat especially their bratwurst. I've been shopping there since 1983 and never been disappointed they go out of their way to help you. I forgot my milk and their employee help me and.went back in with my cash and got me the milk I was in a lot of pain. So I asked for help carrying my groceries to my car. A young lady help me out. Got to my car I.had forgotten my.Skim Milk. I asked if she would go back in for me she did and i got my milk With a nice smile and I was very happy customer. They have great meats, Bakery and produce can't go wrong shopping at Botb's Produce

It's like going back in time to when grocery stores were about quality - healthy - nutrient rich - low chemical food that supports and grows healthy families. It's tempting to describe Bob's as "small town", though truthfully it's more fitting to describe the experience as "1950's". That said - I'm in my 20's so I've got an idealistic image of the 50's based on drive-in theaters and thoughts of unknowingly healthy eating habits based on movies and photos from "back in the day". What you WILL find at Bob's: - fresh fruits and veggies - non-waxy coating (you'll notice it feels like you're touching real fruit vs. waxy like most grocery stores) - butcher section has extremely tasty looking meat compared to most grocery stores What you will NOT find at Bob's: - you won't find an overly large supply of boxed meals / recipes - you won't find a large section of anything with chemicals / long shelf life Tips: - become a "Bob's Produce" member. It's free at checkout and you don't need a special card - they can just look you up by your name. Yes - at Bob's they use your name. You are not a number - if you don't have your card - they ask your name and not your address / phone number. For some reason - this seems like such a small but important detail. Perhaps it's just reflective of the difference between Bob's and the others. - join their email list for weekly specials. They always have deals on something or another. The prices in general can be higher for milk/cheese but the fruits/veggies can be less (especially when on sale). Overall since you are buying less processed food I find my overall bill is actually less than when I shop at other grocery stores. - stay clear of the "clearance" rack. It's clearly identified, you'll know it when you see it.

Lots of good local produce and has a big hot food to go selection. Doesn't have a big pantry selection so I wouldn't recommend for a one sup shop for groceries. Lots of stuff in place for social distancing!

Great place. You'll find better quality and more produce here than you'll see most places. They are a full service grocery store too. In addition, they have a large salad bar and hot food options as well. There's a south facing eat in area and a Redbox thingy. What more could you ask for?! FRUIT AND DVDS. My only gripe is I often walk out of there with a $10 salad, which is completely my fault.

Lots of fresh produce and meat. They have a really great deli and a soup/salad bar during lunch. This is one of the last "home town" grocery stores around that I know of. Watch for their weekly ad; there are always a few really good deals on fresh food.

Great grocery store with emphasis on fresh produce, meats and deli. Minimal selection of boxed and canned goods. No meat on foam trays wrapped in plastic - there is a real meat counter here. Service is uniformly friendly and helpful. They bag your groceries, too.

Bobs is the last of the old fashioned markets and service. They have the nicest people there. My Mom (95) and I (62) eat lunch there all the time . They have a great salad bar and hot food specials as well. A lot of tradesman eat there lunch there.

Great store, good people. Amazing how much they can inventory, and be so competitive with their pricing. Too many of these types of stores have been crowded out of business by the Walmarts, Targets, Cub Foods, and Rainbows. Give them some of your business and lets try and keep them around for as long as possible.
