Reviews of Arkady's Market
Jacob LaBelle
Walked in looking for a bag of ice, found an Eastern European goldmine. This an outstanding example of the type of ethnic/regional focused institutions that are tough to find in this era. I’ll definitely be back regularly.

Fresh, tasty breads. Delicious meats. Great candy selection. Lots of peirogies. This is my go-to for Russian foods.
Rickey Madewell
Friendly staff, always clean, high quality produce, meats and health foods.

Incredible store! Very highly recommend this for a unique selection of Eastern European foods. The wonderful smell of the fresh bread will make you hungry!

Svetlana is the nicest, most accommodating ever! They seem to have a little bit of everything even thought it's a relatively small store. I highly recommend it!

We love Arkady's market! The fresh bread is amazing and the unique selection Eastern European foods is wonderful. From different pickled products to candies, jams and cookies. Sooooo good.
Right now they have a great variety of Christmas candy gifts!

I know two people who are Russian & Jewish. This is my go to for the holidays this time of year. Its a little pricey, but they have a nice selection of Russian food. Every time I go there, the person at the cash register is quiet, stares at me & if they speak, its in Russian or broken English which I first thought was kind of rude, but no big deal now. The place is quiet, kind of eerie. Parking is good. My favorite food is the candy bars with booze in them! And the "Wandering Spirits" Liquor store is next door. Easy access off 169 and 36th Ave.

Love the selection of breads, sweets and meats. The cashier lady can be in a bad mood at times but that might be caused by the language barrier. Downside is that they sometimes close early or open late, so don't rely on the official business hours, or at least don't cut it close.

This store is smaller than the european/slavic groceries I am used to back in Seattle but it was clean and stocked with the basics. The shopkeeper is somewhat shy and quiet but that is not a bad thing, just different than what people might normally be used to at other stores (greeted with a loud hi and goodbye lol)
As other people have mentioned, the bread I bought was sooo soft and fresh, probably my favorite thing to get there.

Arkadys Market always has a large variety of fresh produce, frozen goods, desserts, and most importantly bread. I only buy bread from here and it’s baked right on the spot so it’s nice and fresh for you to take home. Staff is wonderful/nice and the store itself is a clean and welcoming space.

This place is great. A lot of food that you can't find anywhere else and it's always fresh. Their bread and pastry are baked daily and are delicious. Candy of every kind you can think of and grains, meats, and cheese and delicious. If You don't know what you want just ask for a recommendation and you'll be pleantly surprised. Also you can ask for a sample of what you're buying so there is no disappointment when you get home.

I traveled to Arkady's Market from Minneapolis, and I was so excited entering the store! I've been looking for certain eastern European food items that I cant find anywhere other than online, and I found all of it and then some! Its Russin, Ukrainian, Lithuanian goods etc. And so worth the travel for me (FYI, im not Slavic) Sprats, doctors sausage, tarkhun drink, kvass, the selection goes on, and i'll definitely be going again! ( Just as soon as I need to make some more Buterbrod)

Bread to die for! Fresh, aromatic, tasty and addictive! Go for my weekly fix plus new discoveries. Pickles, sweets and meats. A trip to Europe just down the road! Lovely lady behind the counter.

I went there to see what I could find at a Russian/German convenience store. They have lots and lots of candy. It was just crazy the amount of candy there was. I bought chocolate and some boxed desert. The desert was some sort of roll with delicious chocolate in it. It tasted very similar to a desert from my hometown. I've been there twice for goodies, but I'll go back to buy some coffee and sausage. I tried some of their bread and it was okay although I prefer American bread.

My sister and I love coming here!
Elena Mityushina
Decent store but we got overcharged for vareniki as they counted them as pelmeni, which are meat based and more expensive. Also, their beef salami was somewhat expired "to be sold by Dec 2016" and we bought it in February. It was clearly not fresh when we opened it.
Rick Endris
A great place to explore a variety of Russian and Slavic food. Excellent bakery breads and meat varieties.
Mad Grubby
At first, I didn't think there was much here either. However after going several times I see more and more delicious gourmet products that you can't find anywhere else. German Bologna, Mortadella, Sopressata, Hungarian Salami, Goose Liver Pate, Smoked Gouda Cheese, Madrigal Cheese, Bulgarian, French and Greek Feta's, Smoked Mackerel, Herring, Dry Fish, Caviar, fresh produce and a great array of meats and cheeses. On top of that, the girl who sells the food is hot!
Amadeus Harr
