Honestly the best farmer's market around. Love that it opens at 1pm. So much great produce to choose from. We got there early and they were still setting up. We were able to but products aside to purchase later. Parking is great and there are bathrooms. Bring lots of bags. Looking forward to going back.

I absolutely love this local farmers market!!! It's been around for 2 centuries I believe and is open 3 days a week during the Spring and summer. If you are looking for affordable and nutritious food definitely check out this market. It has the best locally grown produce, gathered goods, and made goods. I found one of the absolute BEST Olive Oils ever here from a family who still has land in Greece. They produce their products locally there and then sell both there locally and here locally. Please support any and all local businesses and families that you can. We are all human and in this together.

We love this place!! We go all season long. In the spring early summer there are plants and seedlings ready for your garden or pots, as the season progresses there’s tons of fresh, local, in season produce only a few miles from where it’s grown! There’s organic grass fed meats, local honey and real maple syrup, cheeses and fresh squeaky curds, baked goods, local beers, and food vendors. it just doesn’t get any better!!

Ooh, this place is a bit out of the way for me so I never came... I always figured they would be like all the other local farmer's markets I've been to (Whitefish Bay, Shorewood - mostly vendor supported). What a delightful surprise!
This was truly a "farmers'" market. In October 2021, they were still full of fall produce, flowers, and goodies.
People were generally very nice too. I was looking at some veggies by this one stand, when a guy passed by and pointed out the owner and told me he was "the nicest man at the market." I got a nice smile from him and took a picture. His was the first stand I was looking, so I didn't really believe him until after I've made a tour of the rest of the market. He really had the best smile! Though I must say, everyone else was just as friendly.
Except one. I won't say who, to give her the benefit of doubt... but she kept ignoring me and taking other customers' questions and helping them while I was trying to ask a question and pay for some of her stuff. I rarely every feel discriminated against, but either she just didn't like my masked face or had something against Asians. I don't know. Just rude. I still bought something from her... wish I hadn't, because later I found out it was infested with aphids.
Other than that, the experience was wonderful and I really enjoyed getting fresh produce.

Love the produce here. I purchased a bucket of tomatoes for 6.00. Had a tomato and mayo sandwich with one and the tomato was very flavorful. The skin wasn't tough. I also purchased a small basket of small tomatoes that were pesticide free. They were delicious. I haven't tried the sweet corn I purchased yet but the corn looks very sweet. Support your local farmers whenever you can!!! The market also carries fresh flowers, a few food trucks, a vast assortment of veggies and bags of apples; A reminder of Autumn squash and pumpkins coming in the near future. I'm happy eating my homegrown tomatoes for now!!!

Great number of vendors! I love this place! It's worth the trip when I take my son, and he loves it also. They actually have very fair prices, and a few cheaper than the grocery stores. Everything from meats, micro greens, syrup, honey, jam, antique apples,, flowers, some food trucks and a ton of produce and eggs. I actually like that a lot of vendors carry the same seasonal produce because it's all a bit different and you can select what you like best. They also have several vendors that take ebt, which I find amazing, because with this pandemic, everyone deserves good food and to support local growers.

This market is a gem. My family has shopped here for a long time and there's families that have been vending here just as long. Prices are fair, and you can't beat buying directly from growers for freshness. There's a good selection of staples, as well as speciality items like heirloom tomatoes and apples, exciting peppers, etc. I also buy most of my veggie plants and herb plants here in the spring, along with a selection of flowers I don't feel like starting myself. I just wish it was year round.
Dylan Collier
Smaller than most farmers markets in the area. But most of the vendors had such affordable prices. Lots of delicious options to select from. A few food trucks to get snacks from as well. Well worth the stop.
Inahuri
It's OK. Not alot of stalls. Some of the vendors prices were WAY higher than the stores. I don't mind supporting the small businesses, but I look to save money on produce as well. Picked up a dozen ears of corn which were the best!! Unable to find good corn at the stores, if ANY was to be found!
Robbie & Stefani Beierle
We love the West Allis Farmers Market for so many things! Rotating produce, beautiful flowers, delicious food! If the fresh mushroom person is there, get some!
David Karr
I was there in the end of October and the seller's said that they were getting ready to shutdown for the winter soon...There was lots of vegetables that you don't find in stores and they were fresh from being picked...The same place my grandfather took me in the 1950s and 60s. It's where you can get fresh market food in Milwaukee.
Lindsey Roddy
This is my go to place for spring flowers for the garden. Good vendor selection and it is open in the afternoon for those of us that aren't early birds.
Marina Ackerman
Went with my friends last weekend and it was cool to see all of the fruits, veggies, and herbs that are in season now. One thing I wish there were more of would be food options and vendors. Not too many of those, mostly the produce as mentioned before. Great if that's what you're looking for, and an awesome selection of that, but it just wasn't what I was looking for the most.
Kai S
The veggies there definitely looked and smelled fresh! It was so packed it took about an hour for me and my kids to walk around and see what everyone had. I do believe that this would be a great alternative for bigger families (like mine) for veggies. I was happy that I found most of our favorite items for low prices and great quantity and size. There are also peaches there and some other food trucks for shoppers to indulge as they shop.
Roger Volrath
Great Market.......You'll find excellent fresh produce, annuals/perennials, succulents, cacti, even vendors selling meats, fish, and today I purchased excellent Greek olive oils from a vendor from Greece. (Really)......the market is open on Thursday at 12:00 pm, and Saturdays 1:00 pm. Get there early for good parking.
Kathy Stevens
I like fresh grown vegetables. I was impressed by the zucchini and how big they were from the grocery store. Cause at the grocery store they are to small but the ones I got at the farmers market were the right size for my zucchini bread. That my mom used to get eggs from this lady who would deliver eggs to our house in those days just like milk !
She lived on a farm
And she gave me a very beg zucchini that I trun into zucchini bread by using her recipe that she gave me. And to this day I still use it
In her memory of her as giving us this recipes and her fresh chicken eggs.
That was the day that made it taste so delicious
But it still is delicious even though we have to buy eggs from the grocery store !
But it just has a different taste between them 2 as fresh farm eggs vs store bought eggs for this zucchini bread or anything I made to bake with eggs?
Carolyn McCarthy (Seven)
Really great market!! Got tons of delicious veggies, syrup, jam fresh baked bread, hand raised meat and the people were nice. Every. Single. One! This will be a permanent part of our summer.
Janet F
Just love it. Under 1 roof, not walking far like in the park market. Lots of vendors. This is the height of harvest season: tomatoes, onions, zucchini, sweet corn, flowers, cantaloupe, watermelon, lots of our eating favorites. Very enjoyable.
Camille S
Always the best farmer's market in the area. Even late in the season. Best to get there early.
Randy Elwing
I always love going there. So many different vendors and so many great things to buy
Lauraellen Meier
Will open first week in May. As I took a walk around the grounds, it looks like renovations are being made. Perhaps expanded parking too? Looking forward to the opening. Best Farmer's Market around, IMO. Excellent quality, variety, and prices. The vendors are very friendly and willing to share knowledge. I hope people will bring their own bags.
Corinne Junker
Everything one would want for Fall produce. Squash, corn, tomatoes, carrots, apples, pumpkins and more! Excellent staff and food trucks if you are hungry. Got huge spaghetti squash and kohlrabi. Beautiful huge red peppers all cheaper and fresher than grocery store
SpicyFrenchFry
Went for the food trucks. Great tot truck and BBQ. Would have tried more but already full. Will try again.
Ruby Griffin
I went there with my friend in West Allis farmers market first time . It's a nice look around on the vegetable garden tables .
Maureen Dahl
Great hours, I appreciate the later start time (1pm). Excellent selection of fresh vegetables, cheeses, spreads, plants and baskets to choose from along with a few great food trucks.
Anthony Gaskin
Parking was an issue but we got what we came for. Nice mix of people and produce; there was even someone playing the harmonica entertaining everyone 😀👍 …
Lynette Duggan
Great variety of produce, canned goods, olive oil, mushrooms. Love it.
Diane Kowalski
Lots of variety from the vendors, very reasonable prices and there were vendors with adult beverages and walkable food
Sharon Kellum
Had fun looking and buying fresh vegetables
Anne Huber
Great selection with good prices. The Greek olive oil stand was my favorite by far. He is knowledgeable and enthusiastic with his products
Andy The
Not busy. Easy to look around. They did have good flowers and vegetables realdy for planting. Friendly right from farm or greenhouse. Neet talk to them.
Kevin Doherty
This large open market has many local farmers with seasonal products on Thursday and Saturday.
Jaysie Justiniano

Tons of great activities - love the farmers' market & food truck nights!
Danielle Erickson
Always a variety of vegetables, herbs, meat, flowers and much more! Such great deals as well.

BEST TRUE FARMER'S MARKET....all produce is locally grown..they will not have oranges there. The farmers start selling flowering and vegetable plants in the first week of May and finish up with potatoes, onions, squash and other coldweather produce around Thanksgiving .
Open TUESDAY, THURSDAY And Saturday from 1pm til approximately 4pm.?sometimes they stay later.
GO IF YOU HAVE NOT ON A SATURDAY !!!
Google wanted a post covid update on the state of the West Allis Farmers market, today it is thriving and it is as busy as it was before covid the produce grown by the farmers is as excellent as it ever was. If you enjoy your vegetables and fresh grown produce this is the place to shop Saturdays is a big day at the markets Tuesdays and Thursdays they're open as well generally from noon until about depending on the size of the crowds and time of the year could be as late as 4:00 or 4:30 but generally 4:00 is when things start shutting down
Chris Herrera
Not only was it awesome, it was very well set up and very sanitary. People were very nice and very knowledgeable on the products they sold. I recommend everyone to support our locals and buy their beautiful fruits and vegetables and meats and dairy goods. Dont forget the floral area to lightened up ones day or accent your home. Please take the time while the weather is kind and go to support our local Farmers .
Dan Baker
Decent farmers market with a good variety of fresh goods and vegetables. Also assorted other items.
Heidi Matlock
Not alot of vendors. But a fair amount of products! And I got a beautiful flower arrangement fir my table! ❤️
Sandy Pearson
Great 👍 fresh fruit & vegetables.
Definitely would suggest to shop there. …

I love farmers markets, & I've been to the West Allis Farmers Market many times in the past. However this year it's rather pricey. I realize the prices are up, on food, however $4.00 for 6 apples is to much to pay, where I am concerned, also $3.00 for 1 acorn squash is incredibly high priced. I won't be returning to the WA-FM!! I can't afford to shop for produce at those prices!!
Heather Kudla
A great market, good deals and great selection. I liked that it was later in the day too.
Ellyn McKenzie
Great seasonal produce, and sometimes a topical product like masks! Tues, Thurs starting at noon, 11 a.m. for seniors and other higher risk individuals.
Bruce Lawson
The West Allis farmers market opens for the season, the first Saturday in May. Been waiting for this. Locally grown fruit & vegetables. A lot of the time, your veggies are picked that morning. In a couple of weeks the vendors will have garden plants and flowers.
There are also vendors selling a variety of meats.
Often, there are bakery items and food trucks.
All in all a win-win.
Makers market is during the summer
National night out is in July
Cindy Dent
Had so much to chose from. So much fun. Friendly vendors!!
Jon Valcq
Great location. It's nice to have an afternoon market as my mornings tend to be pretty busy on the weekends. Great vendors with a nice variety of goods, fresh produce, and food. The empanada truck is definitely worth checking out.
Mark P. Behar
Fresh fruit & vegetables (fresh apples, tomatoes, peppers, melons, corn on cob, etc.)n honey, cheese, local meat & chicken and plants (cut & potted: herbs, flowers, ornamental grasses, house plants, perennial & annuals). All fresh! Sweet seedless watermelon was "as it should be"!
DV Epps
Been going here since I was three, four years old. They have mostly flowers & potted herbs & leftover root/indoors vegetables at the beginning of May — along with eggs & meats. Then they start having a wide variety of fruits, greens, vegetables at the end of May on through to the fall. This is the primary farmers market I go to. There are also some prepared food vendors there if that's your thing. Honestly, if you are visiting Milwaukee, I recommend checking it out.
Amanda Conway
Your experience will vary wildly depending on the time of the year. We go all through summer and fall, thus year we went in spring and found awesome starters. You won't find much produce at this time but lots of herbs, flowers, and garden starters. In the mid-summer to late fall you'll have plenty to choose from and a VERY busy market!
maggiemay
My husband & I went there on first day opened for 2021 season. 1 of few with hours in afternoon, from 1-6pm on Saturdays. Even though arrived at 5pm still had selection of plants to choose from. Many vendors in process of packing up even though the weather was upper 70s & windy. I'm guessing the market was busiest from opening to mid-afternoon.
Heather C
Great little place! Love that they do the Friday night food trucks.
B HE
Went for Pawtofest with our Greyhounds, nice setup
MaiLia
Beautiful experience! Tons of amazing produce! I'm so glad I found this place! Must see!
Dawn Alter
The West Allis Farmers Market is our favorite! We were there and so were all of the vendors we typically buy from. The produce and plant/flower selection was great! There were also a handful of food trucks/vendors there. Masks are required and everyone we saw complied. It was very busy though and hard to social distance, but we did our best toget in and out and be mindful of others who were shopping.
Joshua Deacon
The extra parking lot a block away is much easier than finding spots on the side streets.
Caitlin R.
Open until the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Great staple produce for holiday meals. Stock up on potatoes, onions, greens and other dinner table favorites. Don't forget that live herb plant you want for the kitchen window for fresh herbs all winter long.
Sharaleena Ty
It was a delight to find fresh grown leaf lettuce and greens for a wonderful.salad. I.also found a great variety that are not seen in a store. Beautiful plants were also available to plant or baskets to hang and even cut bouquets. One of.my Summer favorite places.
Edgar Alcaraz
It is a very nice place and the women who work there are very friendly, they have good service.the products they offer are very fresh and first class
Amy Repati
Wide variety of vegetables, some fruits, meats and cheeses. Good prices. Food truck Friday is enjoyable. Used well.
Gabriel Wollenburg
There is a man here who sells carrots unlike any carrot you may otherwise ever see or have the opportunity to buy.
Judith Dubenn
I was able to get many different vegetables at good prices. I also got potted herb plants at a very fair price. Parking was easily accessible, and when I purchased a five pound free range, organically raised chicken, the owner of the stand carried my purchases to my car which was so very nice. I got a zucchini as big as a bat that I'm going to spiralize for one dollar! Good day!
Jan
Great farmers market, beautiful flowers and plants. Fresh vegetables, meats and specialty items. Something for everyone
Kathleen Anderson
A great assortment of flowers, vegetables and fresh strawberries and spices. Fun to walk through and talk with people.
Don't forget to buy your free range chicken and eggs too! Worth the extra$ for the taste and health benefits.
Samantha Vollmer
Friendly people and large selection. Get there early. Vendors try and prep w truck loads but always seem to be first come gets best pick of course. Very awesome variations on products. Always fresh and don't worry u don't have go stand in sun the entire time. Nice shaded area. And plenty of space for strollers and wheelchairs. Plenty of setting as well .
Jane Busse
I haven't been to the WA farmers market in years. Never have the time. I was surprised how many vendors & people were there especially with COVID. Quite a variety of produce. I was overwhelmed. Went for some sweet corn and left with a lot more.
Alisha Louise
This is my second favorite market. There are so many vendors and the deals are amazing. Very friendly vendors, too. No dogs due to the tighter space under the canopy, which is okay, even if still disappointing, is understandably necessary. Variety on the day i went was low, but i am sure peak season offers way more. Definitely check it out. So worth it.
Kathie Masch
Friendly people....Except one seller wouldn't take my voucher because it was folded...So he called it dirty..I told him I'm glad he didn't except it because I truly wouldn't buy from a person like him !!! Always one bad Apple to spoil the bunch...And he definitely is the Bad Apple ...Other then him it was a very pleasant day and I sure did have fun talking with the other vendors !! Thanks much !!! Enjoying my veggies 👍
Bonnie M
One of the best Farmer's Market. Great prices, lots of vegetable plants and flowers .
Amy DeRosa
I love this farmers market. Excellent quality and variety of everything from plants and fresh flowers to produce, meat, cheese, maple syrup, all kinds of goodies. There are always food trucks and vendors around the perimeter as well with all kinds of goodies to eat while you shop or take home.
Garrett Ducat
This farmers market is great. This doesn't have quite as much fancy expensive stuff as the other ones around the city, but it absolutely has the best prices and the best bulk.
On top of having an awesome farmers market they have a couple dozen food trucks a few times each summer. Since west allis is a little off the beaten path I don't get to the food trucks much. So, its awesome to get all the food trucks from the city to one place that's close to my home.
Leann Heiden
I love going to the farmer's market. They have so many different kinds of fruit and vegetables. They sell flowers there too. It reminds me of being a kid again. I also like the food trucks.
.
Payton Q
A great place to get all types of food
Sherry Gac
Love the market! Fresh produce and flowers from a number of different local farmers. All reasonably priced. Open air market with covered stalls provided. ATM machine and an AED available, in case of emergency. So fun! Open 3 afternoons a week!
Dana Julick
This is the coolest! It has so many different varieties of things, obviously the vegetables, but I ended up finding really amazing other finds. I bought a herb garden for $20, pre-planted in a really great pot, I bought different stuffed organic raviolis, and organic free range chicken! The vendors are all very nice and helpful and are able to tell you how to cook things you might not have seen before!
Its a great place to take the family and walk around for awhile.
I look forward to summers to know I can come here 3 days a week :D
Dean Milinski
The vendors and farmers were awesome and friendly as usual. The options were plentiful and most everything was farmer based (not packaged).
My only trouble dealt with the limited walk space as people needed to able to continue browsing while others were comfortable working with the vendors to make their purchases and discuss the products.
Robbie Bong
Love the West Allis Farmers Market!! Helpful vendors, big variety of plants, flowers & veggies. Sometimes baked goods. Good prices. Food trucks on Saturdays.
Scott Moebs
So much to choose from! I got purple potatoes! There's so much of everything. Giant zucchini, beets, onions, tomatoes, cabbage, produce of many varieties as well as herbs and flowers. Fantasic people, fantastic prices. The best corn I've seen anywhere. Check it out. You'll find something you like.
Mary Clark
I love the farmer's market. Always a wide variety of fresh vegetables and meats. Also Beautiful flowers and plants. They even had pots full of fresh herbs to take home .
Lisa L
Always amazing produce and beautiful flowers. Get there early so you gest first pick at everything. Wish people would respect the prices rather than argue with farmers. Its common sense that you pay a premium for local and FRESH food.
Rozzie Pozzie
Enjoy myself every time I go. All the produce and flowers, pumpkins r really fresh. It's open Tuesdays and Thursdays 1 to 5 pm and Saturdays till 6pm. U won't be disappointed. Take cash with u.
Virgini Serwin
Love, love the fresh produce! Especially the yellow corn. It's so much sweeter than the white and yellow corn. They also have a wonderful selection of beets, eggplant, onions, garlic, tomatoes and fresh herbs 😎😋 …
Christopher John
The West Allis Farmers market is one of my favorites. The people, the produce, products, and the variety! It’s fun just to see everything they have. A much better way to a healthier you than normal supermarket foods! Don’t miss it!
Emily G
The crowds this market attracts speak for themselves. Dozens of local farms are represented and all their produce is incredibly high quality AND less expensive than the grocery store alternative. Everything sold is in season (often picked that very morning), so you're getting the freshest ingredients at peak ripeness.
Ryan Metzler
Very repetitive (most vendors have the same wares - if you need bulk veggies and flowers this is a great place). Still, some good deals to be had
kathy bartz
For the most part it was a wonderful market and there were some absolutely gorgeous plants at very reasonable prices for sale. On the other hand there was some pretty sad looking tomato plants that I can't believe they even brought there hoping to sell.
Tactical audio video
The best possible farmers market in Wisconsin... always has been always will be... the freshest veggies, fruits, garden assortment, and food trucks every Saturday! Been around for at least 50 years... another 50 years to go! If you grow your own veggies and fruits you know what I mean.
Krystine K
This place has great sentimental value for me. I've been going since I was a kid. Nice selection as the summer goes on. I'm glad to see they are trying new offerings like food truck night. I would like to see more options on Saturdays as well.
Susane Cowans
Food purchased was best in city. Had good size, was fresh, sellers very helpful, courteous, and more than willing to add to your shopping. Place easy to find. Correct address would have helped more as place isn't on national Ave it is two blocks south of Nation Al ave.
Tony Ricco
Smaller then I remember & everything was pricey.. nice ppl trying to make a living
Mary Jurgaitis
Considering how late it is in the growing season, it was amazing to see the variety of produce available. Of course we would expect apples and winter squash, but green onions, lettuce, and radishes...oh my. Some vendors will be there up until Thanksgiving.
Ms.Z
One of my favorites go early because they close up by 5.
Gloria Tamillo
I enjoyed it very much very friendly atmosphere.
Michelle Weir
I love the WA Farmer's market! The selection of flowers is great, and the hanging baskets are the biggest and best I've seen for the price. And, the vegetables.... Yes!! I'm actually going today for more flowers. Love this place! 😀 …
Lore Lisheron
Best farmers market in the area. Huge selection of fresh produce. Vendors are friendly and know their stuff. Glad to offer you a sample or sometimes a deal above what is already a fair price for fresh picked.
Nicole Esche
Really great collection of plants to choose from. I purchased a strawberry plant that is already sprouting strawberries a week later. Reasonable prices and unique plants you won't find at big box stores. Looking forward to going more this summer.
Deborah McVay
If your using a Walker it's hard to get around to many slanted walkways good fruit and vegetables some places even take ebt and senior voucher most is cash good prices
Ava Rose
Visit the historic West Allis Farmer's Market for the best in fresh fruit, vegetables, home-baked pies, flowers, aromatherapy soaps and more. In the up-and-coming revitalized neighborhood near the library and 6 points business district, the market is a gem that has been treasured by "Stallisians" for almost 100 years. Stop by and pick up fresh produce for a delicious, nutritious meal and bring home a bunch of fresh flowers for your table or a flat of garden flowers to be enjoyed all summer long. Hope to see you there soon!
Abe Changsta
usually really crowded, and you have to know some of the folks there, or be somewhat loaded in cash to afford some of the produce, other than that, it's a great place.. the food trucks are ALWAYS an amazing place to visit here :)
James Laur
After going to the market for 20 some years,I can say if you want fresh good tasting veggies and they last longer in the fridge try your local market. The prices in West Allis market are way more affordable than in your local food store. My children of eight were brought up eating vegetables from your local market. I am sure you will agree when you try these fruits and vegetables, so stop in and add them to your next meal.
Kaller Jones
Plants, Flowers, farm fresh fruits and Vegetables. Omg the fresh basil and other spices smell soo good. The vendors also gave suggestions on how to eat or cook the foods that we had no idea what they were. Farmers markets are no longer intimidating to me. I'm trying so many different foods
Donna Fleming
Great market, with permanent stands (covered) for sellers, great selections and ample parking. Only downside is no dogs allowed and sometimes simply too warm to leave in car. On those occasions, walk the perimeter or will go to other markets, as most I attend do not have that rule.
Tamika Harris
Very nice. Enjoyed it. Vendors were kind.
Cheryl Putchel
This is an outdoor public market where local venders sell eggs, herb, flowers and vegetables plants and farm products. Also has food trucks serving customers. On street and lot parking. Venders are under roof.Public rest rooms.
Jason Curtis
Very well laid out. The vendors all are rigid about waiting until the market officially opens to sell. But come early to find parking easier and get first dibs on stuff.
D Donanld
You can buy fresh beautiful flowers, fruits and vegetables. On Sunday it's a flea market with a variety of things to choose from like house hold, hygene, hobbies and collectibles. The people are nice and the layout is easy to move through.
Ed Rose
Good prices, I found the garden plants to be of good quality, some wierd Stallis vendors, I have would expect a better vibe around plants. My first visit this year I encountered two people with noses so red they should be pulling a sleigh. Probably some thing to do with the amount of bars they have there.
Mrs Penlton
There is something for everyone. Lots of different vendors for fruits vegetables flowers 💐 and meat 🍖 my husband and I usually buy 🍇🍈🍉🍊🥭🍎🍏🍐🍒🍓🫐🍅🍆🥕🌶🫑🥒🧄🍖🍗🥩🥚🍯 …
Glenn Curry
Been going here most (seasonal) Saturdays, occasional Tuesdays and Thursdays, for many many years. Healthy locally grown food you buy from the people that pulled it out of the ground earlier that day! They earn every penny they get without question! And the money stays local. Great for the economy as well! No cross country shipping, great for the environment! And everything tastes so much better than the manufactured "produce" stores sell!.
Maggie Doré
Went for the food truck festival. Those are always iffy as far as food truck attendance but there were about 7 trucks, spaced well enough to not make lines/walking awkward. This is a great venue for this type of thing because of the seating and shelter throughout. Had music going too, which always makes it more fun.
Scott Mottl
Wide variety of vendors here. In addition to the usual farmers market items such as vegetables you'll find honey, fresh baked bread, plants (found some great Jade plants here), fresh eggs, and even a beef, pork, and chicken vendor you can order from. There are also a couple food trucks which set up during the market.
Jennifer Schulenburg
Not many vendors, but good quality vegetables and plants for the vendors that were there.
Edward David
It's biggest downfall is its parking. Theres an open lot thats "parking" for the market, but its unpaved, and unleveled so sometimes your car gets in some sketchy situations. The fresh veggies are amazing, quality from Hoeska's corn is bar none the best fresh corn we've gotten this year. I will have many more return trips this summer and fall.
Patricia Adams
The 2nd LARGEST in Wisco after Madison, permanent shade/roofing structures for inclement weather, safe pavement for seniors and mobility challenges, good food choices. Parking all around and across street. Watch for cars turning busy corner!
Stacey Morgan
Always have a great time shopping at the market Place but so sad that the Mayor of West Allis is shutting it down at the end of the season. Don't know why the Mayor gave in to the new building owners near by. I guess the Farmers market is next just so sad. All great things have to come to a end sometimes.
Jeff Eigenberger
Early in the season, limited vegetables to buy. Lots of flowers!
Ed Sahagian-Allsopp
Love the food choices so much healthy food for the home cook. Especially love Her Li Farms grass fed beef and pastured chicken. Their pork also forages and all of their meat is bursting with flavor.
Ian Wolfe
Super cool market, every other Friday they do food truck nights. The market also has so many vendors, beautiful produce and flowers.
Helmut Geissler
Lots of vendors selling a wide variety of vegetables, fruit and flowers at verrrry competitive prices. I even found local fruit I'd never encountered before; anyone know where "Ground Cherries" originate? Delicious!
Alaina Applewhite
First time at a farmers market, we were a bit late but it was still so nice!! So excited for the next time you are open!! Can't wait for those strawberries lol
Sarijane Blaser
I love the farmers market. There's always good fresh produce. During the pandemic they are requiring masks and have one way traffic.
BAKrueger
I love this farmers market all of the choices and the prices are okay to most of the stuff some of it's too expensive but if you shop you'll know my pet peeve. Too many oblivious people can't stand it when people just walk around like they're the only one in a crowd of a thousand pick your head up pay attention while you're doing it's okay to stop and look at stuff before you just take off look around have some appreciation for other people.
Elizabeth Dangelo

Today was the busiest I've seen the market all season so far. most people wearing masks, very few without. always nice to support local agriculture and business.
Laurie Buss
We love going to the West Allis farmers market. There is a great variety of items to choose from at reasonable prices. Vendors are very nice to chat with. Two of our favorites are Polzin Farms & Hoekstra's.
Lucy Ng
Enjoyed the Food Truck evening. Low key fun for the kids and lots of different kinds of food. The trucks are parked around the edge of the covered area so you can get out of the sun or rain while you eat. The Mexican truck had churros that they made fresh when you ordered so you have to wait awhile until they are cooked. It took at least 5-7 minutes to get the churros but they are very good. Some of the vendors take credit cards.
Merry Russell
It was sparser than most years. A covid effect? Prices were high, but I expected that. Produce was fresh and clean
